We purchased our car 6/28/23 from Leslie Contreras. She was very response to all my questions. I made all arrangements over the phone to avoid waiting hours at the dealership. So if you've ever gone car shopping you know its a nightmare. Salesman, finance managers, and general managers you really want to slap them all and walk away. It was time for my hubby to get a new vehicle and my daughter and I were in charged of finding said vehicle. He desired, a black 4 door Nissan Titan with a bench seat, back up camera, and push start. All these things were non negotiable. The search began. My daughter found the truck in Carson. We go take it for a test drive we all fall in love but my PRICE was firm. They were asking over what I wanted to spend. (Also be aware that this particular dealership has an internet price and a lot price. The difference was about 7k dollars. We were told they have to disclose that to you.) The reason this dealership gets a four start comes down to Flavio our sales guy and Chris the finance manager. I really wanted to give them a 1 star but these two guys saved the day, especially Chris. After our initial walk away I kept monitoring the internet and low and behold if that truck didn't drop in price. My husband says it must was meant to be. We call back do a little negotiating and the got the price we wanted. (Under 34K oh I forgot to mention it only has 6,800 miles on it, previous owner had it for three months this year). When we got to the dealership Chris the finance manager knocked off another $400 which meant we came home with a little extra in our pockets. Again if not for the hustle of Chris this dealership would've gotten a rotten review. He saved them in the 9th hour. My advice to anyone buying a vehicle, please do you do diligence, check out all your options and don't settle. The truck is beautiful, and my hubby is happy, in the end thats all that matters to me. read more

So tried calling you guys but no one answered me regarding my issue. But here is an update for you guys. Had my last two oil changes done by your dealership because i bought the Lithia lifetime oil change package when i purchased the vehicle both oil changes took well over three hours each (with an appointment). That alone is unacceptable. This morning i saw an oil spot in my driveway and I decided to check the oil level you completely overfilled the oil and you didn't even change the oil filter. I saw it has rust on it. You also claimed "someone" meaning your mechanic over tightened the drain plug and charged me for a replacement. You guys are either terrible mechanics or scam artists maybe both. Get your act together. I'll be sending you the bill btw read more

I'm so disappointed I took my car into Carson nissan on Wednesday 12/28/22 @745am to have my transmission rechecked. Once I arrived, an advisor came out and greeted me. I informed him what I was in for he proceeded to tell his was name is Hunter and then goes back into the building to talk to another advisor whose name is Christopher and will be helping since I've brought my in before for the same reason, and my will be finished at 5pm. Now I'm checking the progress Of my vehicle, no work was done .I left the property to take care of some things. @3pm I received a text indicating that my vehicle was Ready. Once I returned, I asked who Christopher was, stated who I was, and he Just told me to go see the cashier, and never Told me what was wrong or if they were able To find anything wrong. Let me start by saying that not everyone experiences dealing with a car dealership is good nor pleasant. So here's my; For Christmas, my wife wanted a 2023 Nissan kicks, so I did my homework looking for the "best deal" out there. So I drove to Carson Nissan. I got there , walked through out the lot, and found two potential vehicles for my wife. I saw Vanessa (sell agent) and we starting talking about what I was looking for; car, price, color, futures and APR. Went for a test drive and 75 minutes later I was out there with my wife new car. Vanessa and Janet(sell manager) helped me out with the process and made everything smooth and pleasant. God put the right people to help you with the things you need in life and something the wrong people and that's why dealership get either good or bad reputation. I do recommend this dealership to you and my family ,Go see Vanessa and Janet over at Carson Nissan for your next car purchase and if you do, tell them I send you.just kidding! They'll help you out. Remember, respect and a good attitude is a two way street. Be positive and respectful and always put God first and things will go just fine. Thanks again to the whole team over at Carson Nissan. till next time, drive safe and God bless you all . read more

Today was supposed to be my 24 year old son's BIG day buying his first car on his own. Unfortunately, the experience was horrible! We let them know an hour before that we would arrive with the check to finish our transaction that we started two days ago. Upon our arrival, our car was not ready. Even though we were paying in cash, the finance department had us wait an hour and a half without explaining the reason why there's so much more that I could say about this experience that I won't get into at this point, but I just like to say that this definitely will be the last time I buy something from Carson Nissan. I just felt like once they had our money they were done with us. There was no attention to detail and felt really dirty after everything was said and done. I hope that Carson Nissan learns from this situation and trains it's personnel salesman managers to be better in the future. Will not be returning to Carson Nissan. read more

Deceptive and dishonest. I saw an add for a used car I wanted in my budget. I called the dealership to make an appointment to see it and Elizabeth told me it was available and I made an appointment. During the 45 minutes it took me to drive to the dealership I got 2-3 texts and phone calls to make sure I was coming. When I got there I never met Elizabeth. A sales agent said he would help me. I waited 15+ minutes for him to 'find the keys' but returned to say the car was not on the lot. He explained that the car was listed as part of a 4th of July Sale and that the dealership was using it as bait and would not sell it until July 4th, but that I could see it in advance when it came back from the body shop the following week. He then tried to sell me on other cars that were significantly above my budget and disappeared for another 15 minutes to get me a Carfax. He then told me that he would personally message me the following week as soon as the car came back so I could come down to see it. Each day I made time in my day to go down but the car was still 'out at the shop'. Six days later on the day before July 4, I got a new message saying that the vehicle had an additional $3000 of add-ons. read more

Don't bother. Carson Nissan uses classic bait-and-switch tactic. They will not honor their advertisement on their website. Very deceptive practice. Website had vehicle price listed as "Selling Price". The words "Selling Price" are right next to the dollar amount. However, they will not honor it and had the vehicle marked up with their additional dealer markup and was requiring the purchase of the dealer installed accessories as well. I got them to remove LoJack from the cost and remove the additional dealer markup. However, their GM came back saying that LoJack is mandatory and reneged on the deal and increased the price. No deal. Pass. As I was walking out I mentioned to the sales associate that they're lucky they don't hear from lawyers to which he responded that they have had plenty of lawyers contact them already. read more

I went to sell my car to CARMAX & because I went through Kelly blue book I received a call from Nissan, probably because it's a Nissan & they would have better chance selling it then CarMax but what do I know. So I get a call & im told "yes we definitely can beat CarMax at the least by $500" (-Julianna told me this) This was not the case, the fact was they wanted to car back & CarMax is the competition. So I waited two days & finally called them back this morning was told the same as above "yes we can beat that price" 4 hours later they text me telling me we CANT match or beat that price. I hate the back & forth bullshit that they have with Nissan. If this is in the training to be a rep I don't want it. I researched cars and set an appointment for 2016 Hyundai Tucson and scheduled an appointment with Jose. I arrived Jose was not available so Ricardo helped us. Ricardo was nice. The car was posted for $17,989. Ricardo did the application and started negotiating the price. He added on about 5k in fees. They only wanted to give me $500 for the trade in (should be at least 1k). Also wanted to give me 4.2% rate when I already had a pre-approval at 2.75%. They came back with a 2.25% rate but the payment was higher. I tried to take a picture and Ricardo swiped the quote away and said it is company confidential. I had a funeral to go to so I told them my offer and that maybe we can schedule an appointment. WORST EXPERIENCE OF ANY CAR DEALERSHIP EVER!!! DO NOT BUY OR RETURN TO THIS DEALER FOR LEASE END OPTIONS!! We made an appointment with JJ to come in on 9/3 to go over lease end options or possibly get into a new car. We decided to keep our 2020 Sentra. While closing the deal, JJ informed us that the $3,000 lease buy out option would be dropped down to $2,500 because we are returning at end of our lease. OK cool, right? Nope, this is where the BS started. While waiting for finance JJ came to tell us they were going to throw in the oil plan for FREE! OK cool again, right? Nope! A few days later I show the new loan on my banking app. I decided to call Nissan Motor Credit to make sure the loan for the lease was closed. It was being processed. I asked the agent to confirm the payoff and told him of the charges: lease buy out fee, last payment, residual and disposition fee. Hmm...$2,500 off what it should be. NIssan Motors said Dealer CANNOT charge a lease buy out fee - they have to go by what was on my original lease contract and that's it. Nissan Motor wanted a copy of the contract. After I reviewed it, I noticed the FREE oil plan was actually $1,000 -my bad for not noticing it on the contract and the finance guy skipped over that line while goin gover the paper work. NIssan Motors determined the $2,500 was a BS charge and needed to be refunded and would contact the Dealer and it had to be refunded. I did not want a refund, I wanted a new contract with the correct price and without the free oil plan - $3,500 of BS charges. A few days went by and I had not heard from the Dealer so I gave them a call. Ruben in Finance had "heard" about this but said I needed to speak to Christian who was the one that closed my deal. OK fine. Next day I spoke to Christian who claimed to know nothing about it but knew JJ was the salesperson who helped us - well I certainly let him know everything and that I wanted a new contract with everything corrected since we paid taxes on an additional $3,500 for BS. A few weeks go by and on 9/24 we head back in to sign the new contract and our payment was down about $100! First contract was "flat cancelled" NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, NO APOLOGY, NO EXPLANATION...NOT A DANG WORD about what they did. How many other people have they done this to???? Another few days went by and now I have 2 car loans on my banking app! I called the Dealer to find out what the heck was going on, they said oh just disregard the first one since the new one is in the works. Yeah, like I am going to listen to these jerks!! I called the bank to check on first loan and was told they could not do anything until payment is received from the Dealer to close the loan!! WHAAAAT! Finally after many phone calls/texts to the Dealer and then to the bank it finally showed the first loan closed on 10/5 - a whole month later. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EVER BUYING OR LEASING A CAR FROM THIS DEALER!!! read more

This unprofessional scummery tries to charge more than $3k over their advertised and sticker prices for "Security Add-ons" Basically they are charging YOU $3k to put a GPS tracking device in your own car in case they need to repo it. What type of bad-faith, backwards logic is that? I made an appointment at 2:00pm today. I was greeted and asked for Ricardo. Ricardo was busy and literally rolled his eyes when told I was there. Next sales rep tried repeatedly to gloss over the fee. When asked directly how much is the fee? "We will see what we can do" he says while trying to pressure me into a test drive. When I said I was not interested in the car if I have to pay the fee, he sat me down to wait for the sales manager. Finally I got the sales manager out, who was able to knock an astounding $1k off their bogus security fee. This sleazeball in a ridiculous suit and purple socks, looking like a caricature of a used car salesman, wouldn't budge on the $2k GPS tracking device -- which is there for the dealer/bank's sake anyways. I walked. Sales manager was sarcastic as I left. What a joke. What a huge waste of time. I'd rather ride a unicycle to work than deal with these literal clowns. read more

Maybe they have better sales people here but absolutely beware of Pedro, for many reasons aside from his dishonesty. I was at Universal Nissan the morning I bought my Kicks but wanted it in red- I called Carson Nissan and it was worth the 25 mile drive to get the color I wanted. I called and spoke to Perdo- got a quote. Awesome- I'll be there at 7, send me photos/videos, the one thing this car HAS TO HAVE, are the all weather mats. Not negotiable, I need these. I was told not a problem. Michelle text me later with photos and I let her know the same thing- again, no problem. When I arrive at 7, look at the car, I say- SOLD- don't forget the mats. I told him what the monthly payments need to be for what my husband and I have agreed to- out the door, tax and fees. This amount. Of course, he comes back with thousands of dollars of junk that look like they are already on the car and not optional.... We decline, it's more than what we told him we needed the monthly total to be. He comes back later and magically the clear coat and some other stuff has been removed- Still above what we said. The tracker is still on there but I agree in hopes it will give us an insurance break. We are there forEVER, and the dealership is closed now. We are sitting in the office alone entertaining ourselves and finally the car is done- I go out to see.... He forgot the mats. He comes out awhile later and I immediately point it out. He apologizes and says he will take care of it and have them shipped to me so I don't have to drive back down- awesome, love this guy. No I don't. I text him the next day and ask about the mats- he tells me a price. REALLY?! I politely remind him of what he said and ask if thats still the plan. No word for two days and only responds with wont get them to you until next Wednesday. Cool- I'll wait. Wednesday comes around- now they're backordered. Ok, when did parts and service say they'll be back in? No answer. Next day I asked again. No answer. Four days later (today), I asked again. No answer. Took my money, tried to over sell me, lied to me and hasn't kept his word. Complete slime. Stay away. Try Universal Nissan (have bought two cars there and pleasant experiences both times) or Carvana and avoid the hassle. Wish Universal had the Kicks in red- I know this problem would never have happened there. read more

I have been coming here for 2yrs now & I trust the service specialists who check you in won't take advantage of you to support positive, long-term customer relationships. Today, Alberto was heavy-handed and racked up the $80 oil change I came in for with additional service recommendations he flagged as "CRITICAL" that would've increased my day's estimate to $1,000. Two "critical" items that stood out to me were $60 wiper blades and $80 for an in-cabin filter (see pictures). I understand these items need to be replaced over time but I also think flagging them as "critical," based solely on time and mileage, lacks discernment and speaks to their aggressive sales methods. They have the discretion to highlight these items in an honest way (I.e low, moderate). As a car owner and customer, I'd like to be able to make service decisions based on information that is presented in an honest and accurate way. In addition to their aggressive and duplicitous sales tactics, I waited half an hour to get my keys after payment. Once I received my keys, I was upset to see the maintenance crew left a plastic cover, floor cover, and HAIR NET in my car (see pictures). I will not be coming back and I discourage others from patronizing this location. read more

I usually take my car here all the time but this will be my last time coming here. Couple of months ago I came in for an oil changed. I noticed they don't do car washes anymore. I asked about it the guy says yes it's a law that passes in California okay not a big deal. He tells me they dont print out the paperwork either it's all emailed. Hmm okay but why I have all my paperwork for my car. He tells me you'll get it in your email. Okay he also told me I need a ball joint or something like that. I told him sure just make sure to write it in the report so I can look at it later. Guess what I never received an email. Okay here comes December!! I received a xmas card from Carson Nissan and guess what it had $25.00 gift card. The xmas card said used it before February 28th 2019. Plus they send me a coupon in my emails for $34.99 for an oil change two weeks later. Now it's February I think 2nd or 5th. I take it to the dealer first thing in the morning. So I'm like 3rd in line. He comes this guy tells me I need to get air filter and cabin filter and transmission oil and brake oil done. He asked me if I ever take it to another dealer I said I have! I'm taken it to LB Nissan. Why? I told him I know I did the filters myself already and I believe the other two oils also. I told him okay I'll see what the mechanic says what I really need because I already did everything already. I asked him is there any way you could print my last paperwork and today's paperwork since I never received it. He said he this paperwork will have everything on there. Okay He tells me it's 2 hours wait ! So this is what I dont understand people who got there after me are leaving first. I ended being there for over 2 hrs. Whatever now I get my paperwork I asked him for the paperwork for me to keep. He gives me everything but not the check list where the check the car. I'm not sure if they dont do this service anymore but if they don't that's awful. The guy says to so here it is where you declined service for these services. I asked him what did the mechanic say did I need this or are you just going by miles?? He didnt say anything to me. Okay that was weird. Okay so now I go to pay and I'm trying to use my gift card. Guess what you cant use it. The girl tells me did you tell the guy helping you that you had a gift card. I told her no I didn't think it mattered. The guy tells me you cant use it for oil changes you could only use it for the store at the dealer. Okay so I get $23.56 of stuff from their merchandise. So the girl behind the counter tells the guy from the other side of the counter hey can you ring her up? He said oh you have a gift card? That gift card is expired as of February 1st! I was like what??? No I said that email that came in today said you have 30 days left to use it. I'll show it to you right now. It doesnt expired until 2 /28/19. He said plus you were supposed to use it on your oil change not the merchandise in the store. The girl behind the counter and I just looked at each other!?!? Like what the heck!! I told him hmm what? That guy that was just here told me I couldn't use it for oil change. He said the problem is that some arent aware how it's supposed to be used. He said I'm going to let you use it but it is expired. I told him no it's not expired. This guy was just full of nonsense! No it wasnt expired! Dude! Now I go outside and get my car I noticed they washed my car !?? ! I asked the guy so you guys started washing the cars again?
