The owner responded to my review with some silliness so I thought I would update my original review with pictures to maybe help this dealership improve their practices. **original review.** I wanted to like this place. Sam and PJ were very nice and the Jeep was pretty close to what i was looking for. However, things went downhill when I tried to purchase it. They pulled a bait and switch where the Jeep was listed for $24k but when they brought me the financing paperwork they added $7k in fees BEFORE tax/dmv. When I said I didnt want the gap ins, theft fee, or warranty the finance guy lost his mind and went full aggro on me. It is not only illegal to sell a vehicle for more than it is listed for (with "non removable items") but it makes a customer feel scammed. $31k for a Jeep with 70k miles is crazytown. I sadly do not recommend Jims for their unethical practices. read more

I was browsing for Tahoes on Autotrader.com. This place had two of the 4 I checked out from there -- a 2017 Premier and a 2018 LT. I went with the 2018. All of the dudes here were friendly, but Sam (aka James -- inside joke Sam will get if he reads this) was my salesman. I almost walked away because I saw the dealer installed options, which usually means no option for the customer. But Sam quickly confirmed they were indeed options. So, after taking it for a test drive, we worked out a pretty good deal and now I have the truck I've been searching for, for 6 months. On top of that, they offer a 30 day warranty in case anything goes wrong, which I thought was pretty cool. If you're looking for a good used car, they have a great selection and reasonable prices. Believe the reviews. I called these guys to see if they were interested in buying my truck. I told them I had a Carmax offer but I wanted a bit more. They said they could possibly give me what I wanted but for sure they could give me more. I drove down there, waited while they appraised it. and they said they could match. I didn't need them to match. I needed a better offer. they offered me 400 more. I said no. then the next minute they went down on their offer. then again up. then down. these guys are a bunch of weasels! read more

website says appointment needed to test drive a car. so I made an appointment for Friday. Gave salesman 30 minutes heads up as requested via text. arrive and car is nowhere to be found. they take me to a second lot - salesman unlocks the lot and rolls up the door - sets off the alarm. wait for him to figure out how to shut it off. finally alarm is turned off. car is inside - looks nice. he offers to let me start it up - dead battery. stand around for a while as he goes to search for a battery charger. he comes back and I have to show him where the battery is - in the trunk. car fires up - sounds good. I ask for a test drive and he says "well it would be such a hassle to back it out of the showroom." he says I have to start by negotiating price. I say it has to be south of what they're asking. he offers a few 100s off. we went home. obviously in no rush to move cars off their lot. read more

They added $1,495 to the price without discussion or agreement. A Tesla is like a LoJack on four wheels. You don't need a LoJack. So I decline the LoJack. The salesman calls me and says either I pay the $1,495 or I don't get the car. The reason he gave is that they are not making any money on the car. Oh, I see. This wild west BS ride is apparently how dealers operate these days. So they kept the car, and I kept my Thirty Grand. I gave two stars instead of only one because they did give me some free entertainment. after all. Every dealer I have visited so far (four) had a car I wanted, and each of them tried the expensive add-on scheme. At a fifth dealer today, I simply lowered my offer by the amount of the add-on I was expecting, and they said OK, but you have the pay the add-on. I agreed. Some people are not good with math, I guess. This is the America I love. read more

I recently bought a car from them. When I called to get the price of the car I was told one price. However the price increased $1k when I arrived plus LoJack was another $995. After back and forth they sold me the car for the original price. Now the fun part... I paid cash and had to leave the car over night and come pick it up the following day. I get a text the next morning from the salesman telling me I'm $1k short. I texted back I've got a receipt that says I paid the full amount. I get to the dealership and get harassed for 30 minutes until I finally get the keys and drive off. Be careful doing business with these guys. Plus they claim they go over these cars before selling them. Well they missed the blown motor mount I've got to replace. And don't fall for the LoJack $995 charge. They can remove it. These guys are not trust worthy! read more

I scheduled a test drive appointment over the phone and was explicitly promised I could test drive both the C8 Stingray and Z06. After two separate visits, I never got to actually drive either vehicle. Day 1: Drove 30 minutes for my noon appointment. Nobody knew anything about my appointment and the salesperson I was scheduled with wasn't even there. Before even asking basic qualifying questions about my budget or income, they immediately asked about my credit, suggested I'd need a co-signer, and said there was "no way" I could drive the Z06. They questioned me outside in the parking lot rather than treating me like a legitimate customer. When I asked to at least sit in the vehicles, they said "maybe" because they were locked out of their own showroom down the street. Here's the absurd part: even if I had completed their entire financing process on the spot, I still wouldn't have been able to test drive because they couldn't access their own vehicles. Made me drive to the second location where an employee fumbled through 25+ keys while I stood waiting. They told me the Stingray would be "better for me" since I have "limited car payment history", again, without asking anything about my actual financial situation first. Had to reschedule for the next day. Day 2: Returned as scheduled. Was told I needed a credit pull and finance application before any test drive, despite being promised one over the phone. When I declined the hard inquiry and instead showed business bank statements proving five-figure monthly income, their entire attitude changed. After two trips, I never actually test drove either car as originally promised when I scheduled the appointment. I came prepared as a serious buyer intending to potentially purchase the Z06, their most expensive vehicle. The issue isn't that they wanted to qualify buyers, it's that they made assumptions and demanded co-signers before even asking about my situation, then completely changed their approach once they saw proof of income. Professional dealerships ask qualifying questions first, not make assumptions. One positive: Sam was more understanding and patient throughout this process. He genuinely tried to be helpful, unlike others at this location. This was disorganized, disrespectful, and a complete waste of my time across two visits. The fact that they were locked out of their own showroom shows they weren't prepared to honor test drive appointments regardless of who showed up. I took my business to a dealership that keeps their promises and asks professional questions instead of making assumptions based on appearance. read more

I had a horrible experience here. Initially things seemed great after purchasing, they made the paperwork and the transaction pretty smooth. Bought the truck April 2024 but by July 2024 I still hadn't received my plates - the temporary plates were expiring and the registration was up. First, I was confused why I had to pay registration when I just purchased the truck and paid registration fees at the time of purchase. They explained it by saying the truck wasn't up to date on registration when we bought it in April 2024, so the registration fees I paid at time of purchased brought it up to date. Then I received the notice that registration was due, I was responsible for paying additional registration fees within the same year. Which just seemed crazy because I literally didn't even have the new plates to put new registration stickers on. I called them multiple times from April 2024-July 2024 trying to figure out where my plates were. Eventually, they told me they mailed them out but were returned to the sender for whatever reason. They asked if I wanted them to send them out again, otherwise I'd have to contact the DMV to have those plates that were issued/never received cancelled. I told them to mail them to me again because I didn't want to deal with the DMV and I did eventually receive them. Fast forward to March 2025, we took the truck in for a routine service to a mechanic friend. They ran the plate to get the parts ordered and they said "these plates are coming back to a 2018 ford F150." But I bought a 2019 Ram 1500... after some more research, I discovered that Jim's sent me the wrong license plate and it did not match my registration. The plate was one number off from matching the registration. I called Jim's and asked them who would I need to contact to resolve this issue and they chuckled and said it was the fault of the DMV. However, thinking back to when I hadn't received my plates, it was because they had not yet sent them out... meaning they are obviously the one who made the mistake. They're lucky neither me or the owner of the F150 weren't pulled over by police and pulled out at gunpoint because the license plates didn't match the truck. I was able to locate the correct owner of the plates and solve the issue without having to go to the DMV. Even had to fix the registration stickers since they no longer matched the registration paperwork. Overall, 0/10 experience would not recommend read more

The say that LoJack is installed on all their cars and they won't remove it for you. So you'll get hit with that before you sign. And they say they have the right not to sell you the car at the advertised price unless you accept the lojack and/or extended warranty. Of course taxes and registration are to be expected, but the rest of that is shifty. So, either buy from a reputable dealer who doesn't play games, or know that you'll have to pay these BS fees on top of your sales price. read more

I see Jim's Auto Sales responded to my original post. You can decide who is telling the truth. I was hesitant to purchase this vehicle because of the high mileage but Jim's assured me it was in solid mechanical condition and would run another hundred thousand miles or more. If they expected mechanical failures I should have been informed. Instead, they pulled a typical sales tactic, talking up the car's good condition and saying someone else was interested in the car. I should have known better! So that's on me but I did rely on their representations and I'm posting this to warn others. read more
