Best experience I've had purchasing my first car. My salesman, Calvin Oum was very helpful and patient. I had NO credit and he helped me get a car the same day. I would recommend this dealership! read more

Great place to buy a car! Friendly staff! They stayed extra late to answer all of our questions and gave us a deal that really worked for us! We went to another Honda Dealership and the salesman was so rude and sooo gimmicky my Dad and I were expecting more or less the same! But nope instead Arturo Figueroa worked with us and we were able to get a good deal and walk away satisfied! We were in the waiting room waiting to speak to a Financial Advisor Francisco and everyone in the waiting room, all the clients were all happy and just thrilled about their deals as well! I came back the next day to get the car they showed me all the features! Just a very courteous and great staff! If you wanna buy a Honda, get it hear! No gimmicky salesmanship, just folks good at their jobs and very competent! read more

To comment on Sean R. request to contact Carson Honda again, I would have to respectfully decline. Rest assured that there is no confusion on your "True Car Policy" Mr. Sean Salehzadeh made it very clear in his aloof and condescending manner, Ive never made to feel as though I was 5 years old! My review was very clear that I had never experienced a Honda dealership not willing to negotiate. Again I will reiterate that the car was over priced , much over the Kelly Blue Book not only that but I got a better deal elsewhere for a car that didn't have significant scratches that you refused to come down in price for. Based on your reviews Im not alone on the quality of sales and service you provide at your establishment. read more

Brought my wife's 2006 here after another local Honda service center had upset her--so much so, that other than oil changes, hardly had any maintenance performed on it. I had scheduled a 7:00 appointment, but looked like a lot of other people did too. I arrived at 6:50am and there were 3 cars in front of me. By 7:00 there were about 10 cars behind me and only one service adviser. It was about 7:15 when the Tank, one of the service adviser;s, approached me. He was very friendly and professional. we were going to do the 60k service and brakes. He wrote it up and kept in contact with me as the day progressed. As i had expected, there a few other things that had come up. Tank explained what they were, how much each item costs and which could be deferred to a later date and which should be taken care of now. He comped me rental car and said he would try to apply as many discounts as he could. He let me know when the car was ready and did better cost-wise than estimated. I am very happy that i came to this dealer and will continue to do so. Appointment scheduling and checking in would their only blemish. Other than that, Great Job! read more

I have been coming to Carson Honda since I bought my 2016 Honda Accord. For the first couple of oil changes, and any car services I've done here, it's been great customer service! Now it's been over a year and a half, and the customer service here has decreased so much! Second to last time I came in, I waited outside for twenty minutes. No one came out to greet me or at least say we will be right with you. I exited my car, walked in, and seen two service advisors sitting at their desk. I'm sure they were busy, but still didn't receive a greeting. So... I stood there for another ten minutes. At this time, I'm sure anyone can agree, I was becoming very frustrating. One service advisor walked over to the printer and looked my way, then looked away. I cleared my throat, knowing he seen me. Then he looked with a "you're bothering me" face, tone attitude. "Do you need some help"? So of course that placed me in a more irritating mood. I said "yes, I've been waiting for a half hour, and no one has responded to me". He heard my tone, and said "well, sorry, I am unable to assist you"... I couldn't believe what I just heard. That was my experience. Now, February 16, 2019 I needed an oil change. I made an appointment for 8:30am. People were outside, approached me, and informed me that someone will be right with me. I had to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to greet me and gather my information for my car. If it wasn't for this service advisor, I wouldn't even give this place a star rating. But! ERWIN MAURICIO has the best customer service! He didn't try to up-sell me, he asked what I was here for, and nothing else! He listened! He got me in for my oil change, and got me out. I appreciate his customer service, and time management. Thank you Erwin Mauricio. I hope they continue to hire people like him! Otherwise, I would not come back to this location! If anyone comes to this location, ask for this service advisor! read more

I am not the easiest consumer to deal with and boy do I ever hold the dealership to a high standard especially if I have spent thousands of dollars on their products. Carson Honda did it again, they were wonderful. Mark was my service advisor this past Saturday and I appreciated his conviviality. I was extremely satisfied when the service manager Luis Contreras came out to greet me and offered me lunch! The dealership had a taco catering service for all their clientele that day! Not only were the service prices fair, the food was delicious and free! Thank you Carson Honda. I can not stress, highlight, and emphasize how content I am with your efforts and will gladly allow you to continue to earn my business! read more

This was by far the worst experience I have every had with a car dealership. I was browsing through Auto Trader and expressed my interest in a Honda Accord posted by Carson Honda. I received a call the next day from Danny Lopez. He told me he received my email about the honda accord and asked me when I would like to come by and look at the car. I told him I could be there in one hour, he told me to ask for him by name when I arrived. I arrived at Carson Honda one hour later and asked to speak with Danny about the Honda Accord. A salesman informed me Danny had left and the car I came there to see had been sold earlier that day. He then asked me if I would like to take a look at some other cars, all of which were more expensive then the one I originally went there to look at. I asked to speak with the manager. I told him that what had just happened to me seemed a lot like bait and switch. I was lured in with the promise of a good deal on a car that I was told would be there, only to arrive and find out the car had "just" been sold, and that I should take a look at some other more expensive cars. I asked the manager why I was not notified when the car was sold and if I could see a record of the time of sale. He said he could not show me anything with a time of sale on it. The manager said the car was sold after I spoke with Danny and they were busy so they didn't have time to call me. He then asked if I would like to look at a car that was $4,000 more than the original car I was interested in. I told him that I would not do business with a place that has no consideration for customer service. I drove an hour there and an hour back for nothing. What a waste of time and money. I felt cheated and lied to. read more

I don't normally review places on Yelp but This transaction has been amazing. They make you feel like family here. The manager personally came out to meet us in the middle of checking out the car. David deguzman was so helpful. If you are on look out for a good place to be helped out to the max. They really make you feel like family! 5 star review only because they do not offer 6stars. read more

Good deals. Need to work on intra-office communication.

I bought a brand new 2015 Honda Odyssey from Carson Honda in 2015. I recently found out that this car was not new and was repaired before the sale. This kind of dishonest business practice is terrible and unacceptable for a major car dealership. No one can trust Carson Honda for their new car purchase. read more

I brought my 05 accord in due to the srs airbag light on. I really don't like going to dealers because of the long wait, but the light was annoying. In the past, I would pull up to the service advisors area and waited for a really long time eventhough there were no other cars around so I would just take off. My recent visit however was fantastic. I pulled up and Richard immediately came out smiling and offered a handshake. I explained my problem and he stated that it might me the seat belts which are covered under lifetime warranty so there will be no cost. It turned out that it was the buckle and I didn't pay a dime. In the past, dealers would try to tell me to replace things that didn't need replacing. This time was totally different. Carson Honda has earned my trust. Next time you bring in your car, ask for richard. He was really personable and seemed like he enjoyed his work. When I requested for the shuttle to drop me off at home, he called but the driver was at lunch so he offered to drive me home himself while he had other customer work orders on his desk? Talk about going above and beyond. read more

I would normally give this place maybe a 4 or 5 star, but after the customer service I had here today with the cashier in the service department I would like to give them ZERO stars. WORSE customer service I've ever received from them. read more

Let's face it, no one likes having to deal with salespeople, especially car sales. They thrive on information asymmetry and you end up feeling like they are trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Luckily with the Internet and a bit of elbow grease, you can level the playing field and know a good deal with you encounter one. The folks at Carson Honda didn't play games - it was all very straight forward and fairly transparent with pricing. I initially dealt with the Internet Sales team who provided an itemized quote as requested (it's amazing how many dealerships won't do this since they like to hide all sorts of costs in their OTD price) and was able to work with me on getting the best deal. Customer service was excellent and everyone was very responsive to calls and emails. Everyone was very nice and professional and it's really a breath of fresh air to work with a dealership who tries their best to give their customers a great experience. I would not hesitate to buy from them again! read more

The service department is always so helpful and efficient. I have never waited more than what they tell me. I like that they educate me on my car's features whenever I come in. read more

Got a great lease on a new Accord today and it was the same as what Internet Sales Mgr Tyson quoted me in an email. There were no games. From the person who met me at the door to everyone else- all were friendly, polite and professional. Tyson, Leslie and David DeGuzman were all great to deal with. read more

I made the right decision in buying our Honda CRV from Carson Honda. Calvin Oum, the sales rep was extremely helpful and very customer oriented. During my first visit he made us test drive the vehicle knowing that I have not decided to buy from them. I shopped around from other dealers but I went back to Carson Honda because of him. Great guy and If you're thinking of buying a Honda I highly recommend to go and see Calvin Oum. read more

I bought a 2009 Honda Civic EX-L today from these guys and Lorenzo was the best. He worked with me on my budget and was more than happy to help me out with any questions I had. The sales staff was very friendly and I really like the fact that they didnt try to pressure me in any way to get all the upgrades that it seems dealerships usually try to push on you. They even offered me some pizza that they just had deliverd while I waited for them to detail the car after after I bought it, for free I might add. Thanks Guys!! read more

I had a different perspective on Honda back about a year ago when I went; either though it took two days to make my purchase I was glad I got the car I selected. I went back to trade my car WORST service ever. Didn't get treated seriously. Called ahead to meet with my last sales rep Ozvaldo and still waited when I arrived. Three hours later he decided to approach us with the trade in. Very rude, worst customer service. Very low on car models. Not many selections. Met 5 sales rep within the three hours but no one helped in any way. I would never go back not even for an oil change. Had an oil change a month prior to this and the service worker forgot to restart my oil so it still showed low oil after I left the dealership - let the service guy know he said it would go away in a few minutes but no it didn't had to make time and come back... If you want a Honda try Scott Robinsons Honda in torrance; they are nice and straight to the point! After today and their service, I regret ever buying a HONDA. read more

I came here today for a "Tire pressure check" & "check emissions system" notification on my dashboard. I had previously gone to Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos when it initially came on 6 weeks ago-they just looked at it & quoted me a price of $280 for a maintenance service rather then ATTEMPTING TO TRY even to take in shop for diagnostics. My car is only 1 yr old with 17,000 miles-still in warranty mind you. Came to Carson Honda for a 2nd opinion & they are awesome! Service advisor Christian Chutan was friendly & helpful. Didn't have to deal with headache of booking appointment. Just drove in & got assisted right away. They provided free shuttle service to & back in order for me to get my car back & they are very prompt & organized! Glad I waited to seek better professionals & Carson Honda is so much better than the poor customer experience I received at Norm Reeves. Christian took initiative to seek a REAL answer & actually got my car inside with techs to discover the real issue & it was resolved with no cost to me! Warranty did cover it & Norm Reeves wanted to charge me $$$ for something that couldve simply been fixed. Thanks Carson Honda-you guys are great & you've gained a lifelong satisfied customer! Thanks Christian & whoever helped on my Civic! read more

We dropped by yesterday to look at an odyssey. Unfortunately, the one in their website was not at the dealership. They were very pleasant and apologized. They showed us a comparable one and said they could have the one we were interested in transferred if we wanted. The salesperson (Blake) was very good. He explained the differences between the two vehicles. The facility was also very nice. Overall our experience at the actual dealership was very good. However, we received a phone call at 5:45 am the next day wanting to know if we made a decision. Who calls someone at 5:45 am. Woke up my entire house, so now I am writing this review at 6 am. I would be very cautious about giving out your contact information to this dealership. read more

I'm not sure if this is unfair as I've yet to buy a car here, but I've called a total of EIGHT times asking if a car was available, that I want to make an appointment to see it, and saying I'm looking to purchase immediately. They say they'll call back, and never do. It's like I'm begging them to let me buy a car. Really odd customer service. read more

The staff here are very rude, they do not thrive to go above and beyond to help you reach where you want to be when purchasing a vehicle . They try to underestimate a persons knowledge about purchasing a vehicle. I felt like they tried to make us feel like we weren't going to get a better offer anywhere else because we might of not had top credit to qualify. Yes at the beginning they portray to be super happy and involved with your interest to search for a vehicle but as soon as you want to maybe keep looking or you change your mind they begin to act very rude. My boyfriend and i were determined to get the civic si 15, we had gone one day in the afternoon time we test drove it and told the salesman that we would be right back in an hour or two he said yes no problem ill be here and when we came back he was selling that same car we came for to other clients in front of us ! That car was very hard to obtain as there were only about one per dealership soo that ticked us off all he wanted was for us to pick another model which would downgrade from the si model. Im happy that we found another dealer in torrance that were no were near like this one they found us the car we wanted and took it home the same say . Don't settle for what they need you to buy theres plenty dealerships that will earn your service . read more

I've been to this dealership service dept two times now for the same problem regarding a service bulletin on my 2015 Honda Accord. The first time I arrived and the service manager told me he doesn't have a mechanic who can fix the problem right now (at 4:30pm on a Tuesday). The second time I came as directed on a Thursday when he assured a mechanic would be available, the service manager told me they didn't have the part and would order it. I suppose I'm expected to go a third time now, but have yet to receive any phone calls informing me that the part has arrived (it's been almost two weeks). 1 star for poor customer service and follow-up. It appears that their primary focus is to get the customer out the door without actually fixing anything. Truly reflects poorly on Honda as a car brand. read more

Took my car in for recall maintenance and originally spoke with John who was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Service on my car was great however I had to deal with Mark Horst in the customer service area during this visit. He was rude from the second I arrived until the moment I left with my vehicle. He was the epitome of every reason why I avoid the dealership, rude, condescending, and not helpful in terms of answering questions. He was grumpy and clearly just wanted to go home. Carson Honda is horrible!!!! I bought a Pre-Certified Car a 2012 Honda Civic. I brought it home and the next day I the car wouldn't start. The car had a bad battery. Then 3 years later I decided o trade that car in for a 2014 CRV.. I went back to Honda because the sales man gave me good service (Terzo). I as helped by another gentleman that also provided good service:. When I got home I notice that the new car the CRV Headlight was out another Pre-Certified car that needed o bring back to fix.. but the Cherry on top is that I was supposedly approved for financing. They would pay off my 2012 Honda Civic.. 2wks passed and I went online to see if my new loan appeared and my hold loan was paid.. I noticed that My Original car loan was pasted due... I called Honda Financial to find out what was going on and was it normal for it to appear pasted due.. I called twice the first time I was told Someone would call me back and the second time I reached the guy in finance who helped me. The guy told me my loan wasn't approved and the renegotiate my loan. I came in the same day to speak to him and I received a higher interest rate with an extended loan term... I feel like Honda scammed me. If I wouldn't have called I wouldn't have known my original loan was passed due and I wasn't approved although I already signed the paper work the first time.. I felt like I had no choice but to take the higher interest and extended term because I could no longer get my car back.. What if I would have never called that would have been on my credit as well as my moms.. My Car helps me get take care of my daughter Honda had no concern for me or my daughter... I Spoke with Tracy Kesterman who was aware that my loan wasn't approved and she gave me a DRY SORRY AND ASKED ME WHAT WOULD LIKE HER TO DO. She could careless of the level or lack of service I received... Carson Honda should be shut down for scamming customers. She was aware an entire week before I called... and I had to call back twice before I got an answer on what was going on.. Tracy tried to place blame on another employee but it was her negligence... read more

I had to edit this review as I look back now that the lease is over. There was no advantage to going here. They would not budge on the cost, and paperwork took extremely long as usual.
