I've been bringing my Accord for 3 years since i purchased the vehicle in 2014 and I personally wouldn't trust my car with anyone else but Carson Honda. They are very professional, with amazing hospitality and took great care of my Accord as always. Would most definitely recommend friends and family to go to Carson Honda. Thank you Manny for your great customer service (: read more

Be suspicious of any price quote you get from these guys by fax or email. They did not honor a written quote that I verified over the phone with them. When i went into the dealer with price quote and check book in hand, the games started. I promptly walked out. Another dealership that plays these games with email quotes is Fletcher Jones. Dishonest and unscrupulous business practices. read more

Tyson, the internet sales director, and his salesperson Oliver at Carson Honda are the best!!! I was referred to Tyson by a colleague to lease a 2017 Honda Fit and could not be happier with the experience. Introduced by a friend via text messaged, I went straight to the pount asked Tyson for all the relevent details such as the MSRP, adjusted cap/selling price, and money factor and he was very transparent with all the numbers before I arrived, unlike the other dealer I went to. At Honda World, the salesman was unprofessional and a complete joke; the salesman there tried to focus only how much I wanted to pay monthly despite me telling him that I have leased car(s) before (Toyota Prius & Infiniti Q50. Both good experiences) and and ONLY care about the negotiated cap price and then money factor. I also specified that I wanted a Fit that was made in Japan out of personal preference; they respected my requests and tried to sourced one from another dealer nearby. When I arrived at Carson, Oliver was very helpful and showed me all the features of different trim levels and went on a test drive. A few other salespeople acknowledged my presence and asked if I was helped yet, unlike other Honda dealers I have been to. Both at Honda World and Hardin Honda, I was hanging out looking at window stickers without a single person acknowledging my presence so I left. Despite being the end of the month, Honda salespeople either sold enough cars or don't make enough per sale to care? So, after we agreed on the deal at Carson, Oliver made went through all the proper manufacturer protocal to make sure my car was personized with correct settings. I leased a $42,000 Infiniti Q50 right before and didn't get this type of attention to detail and professionalism. Driving a rental car at the time, I was not able to bring the car home on the same night. Oliver offered to pick me up from the rental car facility and Tyson who also lives in Orange County offered to pick me up on his day off on Sunday so that I can bring the car home on. Buying or leasing a car should be a fun and rewarding experience, and Carson Honda and their staff have really set themselves light years ahead of their peers. read more

This is the worst place to ever do business. Their service department is a complete joke. I bought a new honda from them and found out that they put wheel locks on my car and never gave me the key lock for them or even the four lug nuts they took off. I have been waiting for over an hour and still have not heard anything. Feeling a little upset right now. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh!!! I forgot mention I took out the spare tire to see if the key was there and what do I find? A cork from a bottle of wine. The only thing is I do not drink wine. -- at Carson Honda. This is the GM reply: Comment from Kris K. of Carson Honda Business Owner 7/1/2014 Rick, Please accept my apologies for not calling you back personally. Unfortunately, I was extremely busy yesterday and I would not have been able to call you back until later in the afternoon. I wanted to make sure someone addressed your concerns right away and that's why I had my Service Director call you back. We value our customers and their concerns and that is why you received a prompt call back from one of us. I would love the opportunity to speak with you directly. Please contact me at kris.kratky@carsonhonda.... or by phone at 310-834-4773 x226. I hope this experience does not keep you away from our dealership. I really think he should have called me anyway 7/2/2014 I received a telephone call today from Carson Honda General Manager Kris Kratky. I can only assume that he called me due to my post on Yelp, either to save face and/or try to help save the reputation of his dealership and poor service department. Speaking to him was a moot point at best, as he was unwilling to do anything to compensate me for any lost time or the negative experience that I had with his service department on this occasion and others. I was told yesterday by a Carson Honda Service Manager by the name of Luis, that Mr. Kratky was too busy to call me. Now I understand why. He is too busy to really listen to his customers and was only willing to honor a free oil change that was offered to me by Service Manger Luis. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer care that I received at Carson Honda's Service Department and more so with the that of it's management, including that of their General Manager. They simply do not provide good customer service. read more

If I could give negative stars I would put -pi. Customer service is a joke here. I made an appointment to test drive three cars and was informed that one car would need to be transferred over to their dealership. It was also stated for them to process the transfer I would need to be on site and request it. Okay no biggie. I tell the sales woman, named Alice, over the phone that it just isn't plausible for me to make two trips because I work two full time jobs and am a full time student. I tell her that I'm fully committed and it is very likely that I would buy a car on the day of the test drive. She said she could go ahead and process the transfer and that she would call me the day before the test drive if the cars were on the lot. She also informs me that because of prior experiences they normally don't authorize transfers over the phone.... Day before the test drive: no call. Okay that's fine they maybe forgot it's cool. Day of test drive: I call in to see if the cars are on the lot. I ended up getting disconnected twice during transfers. When i finally reach a sales person it turns out I'm speaking to a manager, from the sound of his voice he seemed of Indian descent maybe?? He informs me that the cars aren't on the lot. Okay? How do you expect me to buy a car that isn't on the lot? I tell him I would call back. I call back shortly after and this call goes on for a good 30-45 min. I tell him "hey I don't have time to wait for this car to be transferred. This is why I called ahead of time and asked for it to be transferred. He then goes on to say that Alice shouldn't have put in the request and that she knows better. Okay?? He continues to say that it costs them x amount of money to do the transfer and that because car 1 (an accord) is 15000 vs car 2 (a tsx which is the one I needed transfer) is valued at 20000+ what if I bought the accord? He would end up losing money? Hello?? Last time I checked you were trying to sell me a car. I tell him that this conversation was pointless and that he was not only wasting my time but his also. His response: "Im not wasting my time. I get paid for this." What the hell??? I then say "how do you expect me to buy a car that I don't see." He then repeats the costs and money aspects of buying a car and getting the car transferred. Then asks me what car i "REALLY" want... Wtf. Okay. This is the last time I will ever go to this dealership and you can bet none of my friends or family will either. read more

Worst experience ever!!!!!! I was interested in purchasing an automobile with this dealership which I saw online, I live in San Diego and went to check the car out all the way to Carson . On the website it stated I would be able to test drive it, but once I was there they did not let me drive it because it needed to be inspected by their shop. They posted false or wrong information that could waste people time and specially those who drive 2 to 3 hours to get there. And they also knew that I was getting there. I told them I was really interested and they told me to come by a week after. I drove all the way to Carson from San Diego for the second time letting them know I was interested in buying the car, then they let me test drive it, asked me a lot of questions waiting and making time, how much I get paid, about my credit ect., and then they tell me that someone had already purchased it just 5 minutes ago. Thanks for wasting my time, REALLY BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!! I'm really upset!!! read more

Just following up on what has happened since my initial review . I was in contact with Luis the service manger . I dropped off my car on Friday and was able to pick up my car on Monday . They arranged for rental while the car was being serviced . They replaced the navi screen and glove box and took the car to a auto body shop to take a look at the drivers side door . Some additional adjustments were made to the door and everything looks great . My main concern was i didn't feel like there was communication within their associates and also myself . Luis heard my concern and made a effort to personally call me and keep me in loop . Although my experience started off kind of rocky , I appreciate all the efforts that were made to take care of the issues . Thanks guys ! read more

We had an awful time trying to purchase a Honda Fit to pull with our RV. Had gone to LB Honda who treated us very badly. We then put feelers out and got a response from Martha at Carson Honda, very nice, professional and respectful. We went to Carson, met Ramon who would be our sales rep. He also was a gem, unfortunately he had thought they could get the car there for us but (as we discovered) LB Honda would not release it to them (they still thought we would come back to buy from them because they told us there weren't many manual transmissions made and they had one)...Ramon's manager Octavio was there to break it to us that they couldn't get the car from LB but had found another one they could get the next day. These people were amazing. They were respectful of us and our time, and tried very hard to make things right. Needless to say, we bought the car from them. I would recommend the team at Carson Honda to everyone. And again, thank you everyone involved, you made our experience a good one. read more

These people are so unprofessional and drag their feet on everything. I bought a civic from them a year ago, paid my note on time every month before I made the decision to refinance. I was told by Honda I needed to cancel my Gap insurance and had 60 days to do so went in cancelled it the first week of July it is now the end of Aug haven't received my refund or paperwork in regards to the cancelation. Was told by the director of finance they didn't have any paperwork saying I cancelled then she turns around and says oops I do have it....I said send me a copy please she says ok never got it only answer I get is ohhh yea it's processed. Do not do business with these people! My car buying experience was terrible as well they gave me the run around when they sold me a lemon and didn't want to fix the issue until I contact Sonic (Big boss). And they fixed my issues. I wanted to solve my issue but they never answer any calls nor questions! All I wanted was a copy of my cancelation and any updates. They're all nice and friendly when they want that car sale answering all questions you have....DO NOT COME HERE once you buy they don't want anything to do with you! read more

I came in Dec 30.16. Oliver greeted my father and I with a kind smile and genuine attitude. He asked what we were looking for, the reason and from that point on, he showed us what we asked for. He was patient, never felt that he was pushy in his selling style but more of getting to know why I loved the vehicle or what didn't I like about it. Very knowledgeable just as everyone in a dealership should be. His manager...helped "tried" to help with the price, we got a good deal but I guess I just did not like his attitude, he was more of "take it or leave it" at that moment I got frustrated and felt like walking away, but because Oliver had been so nice and had taken his time to help us out I bit my tongue and went ahead and closed the deal. Oliver and the last guy(forgot his name) that had us finish up paperwork and signatures were great!!! People get paid to do a job but that doesn't mean that you cannot still be thankful and show them respect for giving great customer service and vice versa be good to your customers, not everyone will yell at you. It seems that people are nice once the customer starts to scream....ridiculous that it has to get to that point. But Oliver exceeded my expectations, If you want great customer service and be respected go to him! read more

Ive spent some time debating whether I should post this or not and I finally decided to go ahead and do it. I went in on the fourth of July for a sale they were having and I was looking to buy a honda civic as a first time buyer. The whole experience was fine in general but the problem began when I went home. I went from having a 2000 toyota to a 2015 honda and Ive never had a car tell me whats wrong with it. I went home to pick up my pink slip as I had negotiated to trade in my previous car as part of a down payment and when I was driving back to the dealer I got a check tire pressure notification on the car. When I got to the dealer I informed the sales person who initially helped me about the notification and very non chalantly he said "oh maybe one of your tires is a little low, add some air when you get back home" I was like ok cool. As I got home something kept bothering me so my brother checked my tires and the tire pressure on each tire and low and behold each tire had 35lbs of pressure except the back passenger one had a nail in it and that one had 20lbs of pressure. I went back the next morning to inquire about what I can do and they said they can patch it up. The employee was like "oh typically we charge for a patch job but since you got your car yesterday we wont charge you". It still didnt sit well with me. About a month later I went back to get some work done on my hubcaps and the guy was giving me a hard time about it so I went off on the guy! I said "you know what wasnt on the contract, the fact that you guys sold me my car with a nail in the tire and I had to come back the next day and get that fixed". He started saying that I probably picked it up on the way home and I got livid! I said dont give me that BS because the last time they did a total inspection on the car was in may and I got my car in July. I could have gotten in a serious accident with the tire like that due to a GROSS NEGLIGENCE on their part! Its literally the reason why I bought the damn car because I crashed my older car memorial day weekend. (My tire popped while i was driving on the freeway) so the fact that the nail was in the same tire that had caused a previous accident for me hit a little to close to home. Needless to say, they NEED TO DO BETTER INSPECTIONS of cars after they sell them!!! I tell everyone to NEVER come here to purchase ANYTHING. read more

I bought a car from Carson Honda and I was overwhelmed by the True Price that my salesman Rohmer Manalese explained to me. I went online and found out that their True Price is really a reasonable price. My salesman really helped me out to get an excellent deal and even got the 0.9 interest for 60 months with more than $5,000 discount. Today 6-7-16 I went to Carson Honda to purchase a 2010 F-150 from the used car department. I arrived around 2pm and I had already spoke with a salesman and the used car manager Octavio. When I arrived we went out to look at the truck and take it for a test drive. we started to work some numbers and see what the payments would look like, and After that I agreed to buy the vehicle! I was also trading in a street bike for this truck, as they are not experienced with motorcycles Dean Hayek one of the sales managers and Luis Razo the assistant manager asked me to ride down the street to the local motorcycle dealer to have it appraised and bring the paperwork back to them. I said no problem and went on my way. After riding to the local motorcycle dealer after already spending over an hour at Carson Honda it took about 20 minutes for the appraisal to begin. During the appraisal I get a call on my cell phone from the sales manager of Carson Honda saying I am sorry but we sold the truck. I figured they must of had the wrong number being I was the one that has already waited 2 hours and was in the process of purchasing this vehicle. But sure enough they had sold the Truck to a customer that had walked in long after me. After this I went straight to the General Manager Krisztian Kratky to make a complaint and try to understand what had just happened and why I wasted hours of my Time. Long story short they said it is first come first serve. So apparently if you are going to be buying from this Dealer make sure to rush through your paperwork and make the purchase as fast as possible!!! Or the vehicle might just be sold to someone else. From this point on I will make sure that friends, family, coworkers will never buy a vehicle from this dealership! And I would not recommend it to anyone! However if you are still going to purchase a vehicle from here, I would request to deal With Tim Soeung the other sales manager. ALSO I WAS A FORMER EMPLOYEE FOR 5 YEARS AT THIS DEALERSHIP, if sales treats me like that, how do you think they will treat someone they don't know? read more

I came back for my fourth vehicle! Carson Honda managed to find me the highly sought after 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid in Lunar Silver. An internet sales staff member by the name of Katie helped me locate the car after months of research. She was quick to reply and GREAT over the phone. Not only was the competitive prices the reason I came back, but it was the personal service and attention I received. The lot always has a full selection of cars and trims and the friendly staff are happy to greet you with a smile and or direct you to find the right person. The parts department is adjacent to the sales floor too which makes you want to accessorize your car (not good for my wallet) and the sales associates are great to work as they explained the new features and options to me while I was waiting for the car to get washed and prepped. I came in the following week to purchase splash guards and Glenn Simpson the service manager helped me out. They have killer deals on scheduled maintenance and Glenn's shop is ultra clean. By far the cleanest service center. I would recommend paying this dealership a visit hands down. read more

Carson Honda - Auto Repair Near Me - Carson, California

First off, this is not about their sales or service. But a completely reverse experience, selling a car to them. I had a car on Craigslist and got an email from Kathren Miner, a car buying specialist at the dealer. If you have ever sold anything on craigslist you know it is a daily grind of sorting through frauds, scams and those who just plain won't show up for appointments. I was a little doubtful that a dealer would offer me anything close to my asking price for my car. I also bet this was bait to get me in the door to buy a car from them (was selling my car because I had already bought myself a new car). Kathren turned out to be not only legit, but super helpful, friendly, and all around awesome. Her and her manager, Mike, offered me just a couple hundred below my bottom price for my car. It was a VERY fair and reasonable offer. WAY more then I had expected a dealer to offer. Secondly, the transaction and process was EASY. Had I sold it on my own, all of the DMV paperwork would have been on me to do. But by selling to a dealer, everything was handled legally and rightly. If you are ever needing to sell a car, try going through here first. You will not get worked over, you will get a fair offer and the process was super simple, easy and efficient. In many ways, the service and treatment I got from Kathren will ensure that should I ever want to purchase a new car again, I will check in on this dealer first. read more

Wow, bought a 2003 Honda Odyssey 4 to 5 years ago from them and went back to purchase an Accord (used certified) and went for the test drive and liked the test drive and requested 2 new front tires due to large cracks once we returned.Tyler our rookie sales associate, assured us he would ask his manager,, he returned to tell us he'd offer us $500 as a trade in to cover the cost of 2 new tires for the accord..what a jackass he and his manager, Kevin, must think we the people are..Ethics in auto sales they do not understand in return customers..Downey and Cerritos Honda are just up the street..No, the young kid Tyler didn't have any skills in saving the deal or using his words to even try and come up with any options..that's sad when Union customers with above a 750 credit score come to buy import cars from dealerships who can't employee sales associates and managers to close deals..pathetic Carson Honda.. read more

We had an excellent experience buying a pre-owned car at Carson. I did some searches for a decent Honda Civic on Autotrader, and Carson had a couple on their lot that looked good. We visited, and the salesmen, Lorenzo and Christopher, were helpful and informative, not high pressure, and nice to deal with. I put a deposit down on one of the cars but we didn't like it, and there was no problem refunding our deposit. A few days later, they put another used Civic on the lot that seemed perfect. Pre-owned with a Certified Warranty, just what we wanted. Again, we were treated well and the sales staff very courteous. This car seemed great and we bought it. Financing department very courteous, but lots of offers you have to evaluate and either accept or reject, so I guess that's just typical :) Turns out the car had a mechanical problem once delivered but Carson's team handled it right away, took the car in to the shop and repaired the issue. Apparently pretty common for a Civic with a few years on it, but Luis in the service department called me and told me they were doing a complete replacement on a part that didn't need the whole thing, they wanted to be thorough and be sure the whole thing was repaired. Appreciated the call back, and the extra effort. Overall, we got a great pre-owned car at a great price, and the experience was low-pressure and pleasant. read more

I don't understand the great reviews at this dealership. The guy who "helped" us was a complete idiot. We went in pre-approved and literally ready to buy a car. We wanted to test drive 2 different models. While on the first test drive the guy spent more time asking up personal questions than telling us about the car. Honestly, it got a little creepy. The we test drove, btw, was dusty and dirty inside and out. Really? The car was an upgraded model of the one we actually wanted. We asked if he had the car on the premises, and he gave the old song and dance - "Yes we have it here but it just came off the truck and there's no oil in it" Wow... We we got back to the dealership we wanted to drive the 2nd car, a Honda Civic. There were literally 3 Civics on the lot with the keys in them but he had to "go in the back" and get one for us to drive. 10 minutes later we're still standing out front backing in the hot sun waiting for this guy. We ended up leaving and won't return. Even if he had come back in a reasonable amount of time, we weren't going to buy from him. read more

We took my daughter to buy her first car at Carson Honda. We had seen the car in an ad and called ahead to ask condition etc which all checked out (used car). When we got there after driving from San Diego, the car had far more damage than advertised. Bottom line, the experience taught our daughter that dealers, at least this one, aren't trustworthy and don't care about customers at all. Buying a car certainly isn't the experience it should be here. None of us felt like customers making such a large purchase should. Avoid this business. read more

I went in last week for service on my 2012 Honda civic and was charged $160 ... No surprise considering its dealership service , but for that price you would think they would catch a screw in my tire ... They said they where adjusting the hand break and rotating the tires; how could they not notice it right ? Wrong ... My car was signaling g tire pressure when I took it in and although it was gone after the service , the alert came back the morning after ... Thinking it was probably the weather causing it I let it go for a week ... When I do get to putting air in my tires I discover the screw ... Really Carson Honda? Did you actually do what you OVER charged me for ?? Checked the report and receipt when I got home , looked like the tech just put guessed numbers because there was 9 all around ... Is that possible ? And if so they where up close why didn't they notify my of the screw ??? What if my tire popped ... I don't know when that survey comes around they will hear what I have to say ... Carson Honda lost my business ... I suggest you stay away too , unless work is covered under warranty. Even then find a different dealer with a better rep ... Judging by other reviews I guess they're correct .. read more

I was disappointed on my last visit this week. I come here for all my car needs and my maintenance for my car, even bought my car here. But just two days ago I dropped off my car for them to check on my brakes. I told them to call and let us know first what's wrong and the price for the repairs if there is any. My husband got a call from them, just asking him to call back, we did several times.. it's either you were put on hold or no answer at all. And then we got a call that they already did the repairs. Really? Without even telling us first? No call back or even a voicemail to inform us that they will go ahead and fix it. They charge me $400 plus for everything. We went there and picked up my car, the person we talked to said we can speak with the manager the next day. Called the manager and even left messages there wasn't even a call back. They should let customers know before doing anything to the car! read more

I hate writing bad reviews...usually I don't say anything if its mediocre. I can let the mediocrity go as a bad day or something of the like. But this experience deserves being told so people know what they are getting into. First off, my experience was with a used car. I can't speak to the new car side of things. Second, the salesman was friendly this isn't something he caused, but the call back time for phone calls was either long or non existent. My issue is mainly with what this place considers acceptable condition for a car listed in good used car KBB value. The car i looked at had a manifold cover coated in oil, an oil fill cap completely missing and several parts taped up with electrical tape, the rear main seal was obviously bad. The service manager said, "the price is the way it is because of these issues." THIS CAR WAS FULL MARKET PRICE for its year and mileage. Thats good condition mechanically, and cosmetically. Which this car clearly was not. I walked away when the service manager said that. If you are driving any distance to look at this place....dont. Just wait it out. The service department clearly could care less how well the used cars are maintained that drive off of their lot. read more

Very, very poor Experience at Carson Honda, I had bought cars before at Puente Hills Honda since they have the best service there, however I needed to go to Carson Honda since they were the only ones with the specific car I wanted. The lady on the phone which is in charge of the sales appointmets was great. We got to the dealer and Keison Godfrey greeted us, We knew what we wanted and the negotiation started, the bad experience started when in order to get the sale they started with straight lies. They will tell you what you want to hear in order to get the sale and than deny it all once we agree. Horrible experience and a waste of unnecessary time. Go to Puente Hills Honda if you are able to drive there. Once we closed the deal we were directed to the financial department, once again poor experience since we were tired and stated that this transaction was taking too long. Oslvado Vargas which is the one in this department responds; guys this takes long, its expected... I don't want to hear that, I just want to go home. Please, take your time with this dealership and its employees. Hopefully not all employees are like the ones I just mentioned. BE AWARE!!!! read more

A used 2012 Honda Pilot caught my attention. I submitted my information online to be contacted by one of their agents regarding my interest. Few days later, an agent named Jessica Espinoza contacted me and wished to set up an appointment. I missed her call and actually gave her a call back a few days later to ask if the vehicle was still available. Unfortunately she informed me that the vehicle was already in the process of being purchased. She readily offered other Pilots that were available that will fit my budget. She was able to find a 2012 Honda Pilot from Buena Park location, that fits my requirements. She forwarded me the link for me to review the details of the car. She told me that this vehicle is leather. Which caught my interest even more because the price was pretty low for a leather type of vehicle. I asked again to make sure and she clarified that this is a leather vehicle. I wasn't able to set up the meeting due to having to clock back in to work. I forwarded all the info to my wife so that she can review it as well if she likes it. My wife then calls Jessica and she herself was told that this was leather. So we set up an appointment to see the car. And Jessica said that she will be there. Once we got to the dealer, guess what? Jessica was nowhere to be found. A sales agent named Cesar Gutierrez assisted us with the whole process. This star is probably for Cesar because only he was helpful. Everyone else should get a zero. Guess what I found out after 4 hours of negotiation? They finally brought the car here from Buena Park to our surprise the vehicle was NOT leather. This was a big factor as to why we decides to look at the car in the first place. We complained and ask that something needs to be done in order for us to continue with the purchase. After a long discussion again, they were able to offer us seat covers for free (this was after complaining) because they were only offering to give us $20 dollar discount and have to purchase the seat cover ourselves. So my wife and I decided to purchase the vehicle. NOW in the final process of filling out the paperworks the agent from the finance department was doing his final offers and told me sign up for GAP insurance, I was informed by this guy that I am REQUIRED to sign up for GAP at the dealer or else I cannot add this on anymore after I drive the vehicle out of the lot. The GAP price is $650. I did not get financing through Honda because I knew I could get a better rate somewhere else. We started this meeting at 4:00pm and ended the whole transaction past 12 midnight. Next day I went to my financial bank to finalize paperwork for my auto loan. And to find out that I was NOT required to sign up for GAP at the dealer and that they offer it for a much lower price of $375. I was furious and felt like an idiot to be lied to. I called Honda first to verify if I can cancel my GAP with them for a full refund and they told me that I could. So New Year's Eve 12/31, I went to Honda with a check payment for the full amount of the car from my bank and to also cancel my GAP. A guy helped me since he saw I had a check in hand. I told him if my concerns about the GAP cancellation. For some reason I think this guy only cared about the money. He said "okay I can assist you with that" He took the check and processed the payment and gave me a receipt within a few minutes. Wow fast service, but guess what after he got the money, he said the GAP cancellation will have to wait like 45 minutes for a finance manager. I was furious! After receiving payment you now put me aside? Frustrated enough, I just said yes ok I just want to get this over with. I sat and waited. Guess what? 1 hour passed and still no one to help me. I finally got up to ask how much longer. Finally - the same guy who finished my paperwork who lied to me about the GAP his name was either Francisco or Luis. Skinny Mexican guy - was the same guy assisting me to cancel my GAP. He told me that to wait another 30 minutes to process the cancellation paperwork. I was done, I had to speak up. I told him I already waited an hour and you're telling me to wait much longer? He didn't seem to happy with my response. Guess what he filled out the cancellation within 2 minutes and gave me a copy of the paperwork. Like seriously all you needed to do was sign one paperwork and you made me wait for an hour and a half? I read through the terms and it stated the refund should come back within a few business days - guess what it's almost a month, today is 01-23-14 no refund has been received. I have called Honda numerous times to ask about it they told me that they'll have someone call me back from the finance department. NEVER did I receive a call back. Now I called them one last time and expressed my concern. The operator said that I can leave a VOICEMAILS with the overall manager. Guess what I left my long message of concern - and days have passed no call has been received. They will hear from my lawyer. read more

I just bought a 2015 Honda Odyssey from Carson Honda and it was my best car buying experience ever. Being a busy working mom, I didn't have time to deal with lengthy demos or negotiates at the dealer. Jessica and Jenna, whom I communicated with through email, thoroughly understood this. They made a great offer through email, gave me a clear breakdown of all the costs, were timely and professional and friendly in all the emails, and most importantly they didn't try to "bait and switch" when I arrived at the dealer to sign paperwork. Bems was the associate who helped us in person, and both he and the finance rep were extremely courteous and pleasant. Overall, if you're looking for a great deal on a new Honda and a pleasant car buying experience, I highly recommend Carson Honda! read more

We bought a brand new Honda Civic 2 days ago. Me and my husband were fed with one lie after another. We were approved for 1.99 APR for a $20,275 car value. We made a down payment of $4300. We were told we would be paying a monthly $368. But I told our finance officer Francisco, it couldn't be, my calculation is $318 per month. I asked for a breakdown of the fees, he said he will give it shortly, then asked if we want to go for the alarm system, for Phantom Footprints and the Honda Care VSC 8yrs 100k miles for only additional $20 a month. He said total is $386. Then we said yes. Trusting that there were no hidden charges, my husband were dragged to sign the paperworks in a hurry, we stormed out of the branch with the new car. Upon reaching home, we noticed the actual cost of those additional stuffs as $2670 for Honda Care, $1059 for the Karr security system, and $99 for the Phantom footprints. These three optional items alone is $3828 which is an additional $68 a month, that's the reason why $318 + $68 = $386. They lied to us big time. My original calculation of $318 was correct after all. They just told us $368 so it will sound that after the three additional options, we only added $20. Big fat liars. We rushed back to the branch 2 days after and Francisco said we could not cancel the contract. I checked the consumer act law website and every person has a right on a 10 day period to withdraw from a written contract. They said the alarm could not be cancelled because it was already installed. The Honda care could not be cancelled today but after our first billing cycle. But I insisted that on the website it will be refunded fully within 60 days of purchase, today was only our 2nd day. He said that the $2670 will be deducted on the full loan amount and the 1.8 APR will be applied on the $19,427 remainder. (Original financed amount was $22097). This we have yet to see. I recorded everything. I bet this is a lie. Save yourself from this headache. No matter how much they wanted the paperwork to be done, never trust them, go through the paperwork. There are so many hidden charges. This is our final blow, if the last is still a lie, we will report to Consumer Protection. We all need to know our rights. Please be informed before going to this branch. I am very disappointed with this experience. I could not believe such a reputable company as Honda, will go as low as this. Unhappy customer here. read more

There's no much for me to say other than thank you for your professional attitude and straight forward demeanor. Got me in and out of the dealership with my new accord! Extremely happy to say that after visiting different dealerships like BMW and Benz, this dealership really valued my visit and acknowledged my questions. Big thank you to Oliver Quintanilla to answering my 100+ questions about possible audio upgrades! read more

Based on my review of the recent experience 4 stars minus one because of one particular employee Francisco R. The man has no ethics and his actions are reprehensible. There was an incident with a lease agreement that was corrected after Kris Kratky the GM was involved. I do believe that dealership will honorably conduct it's business and that's based on past experiences and the correction of my very last experience. I'm upset that Francisco R. gained a commission and signed off on paperwork despite his unjust treatment. However at the end of the day I walked away happy and that was due to GM Kris Kratky and salesman Ramon Ramirez. I give credit when credit is due and both men honestly did do what they could to take care of their customer and that's commendable. My advice ask for another financial manager aside from Francisco R. but if he's the only one there be advised he's there to make money and increase his cut and he will do so with misleading, intimidating tactics and witholding information. Do business if you must but be aware. I will not go as far as publishing his last name due to respect for his parents. It's bad enough he's their son! As a customer of the dealership Im both disappointed with his actions and happy that there was a correction done. I conduct myself in a professional matter, by no means do I want to demonstrate "attitude" but the occurance was too much to ignore and dismiss. So yes Im making it public for others to be aware. Be advised yelp community. Overall good dealership that I plan on conducting business with in the future. Stand up for any deal you feel is not ok, the squeaky wheel gets fixed! I like to think there are some good people out there. read more
