i visited this dealership on Thursday 5/24 inquiring about a 2010 escalade and a salesman named Richard or Alex Agagas told me the car wasn't ready to be seen and needs to be inspected and wouldn't be available to even be seen until wednesday 5\30..I even texted him on 5\26 regarding the vehicle and received a very dry and vague response not once did he mention the Escalade..needless to say I called again on 5\27 and was told by another salesperson that the vehicle i was told wouldn't be available for sale for a week was sold ..I have already been approved for a car loan thru Torrance Credit Union for 35k .but i 'll never spend a penny at this unprofessional place read more

I have greatly enjoying having my Honda CRV regularly serviced by the Service Department at Carson Honda over the past few years. I have found their pricing to be reasonable and their professionalism and promptness with service has been EXCELLENT. Some visits have been more or less expensive than others, based on my car's needs, but in all situations I have been given honest information about what is needed and what is recommended. I have been able to make informed decisions and am confident that the healthy maintenance my Honda has received at Carson Honda will keep it running to my 200,000 mile goal! Some of my favorite things about Carson Honda (in comparison to other dealerships and service locations I've used in the past) are: -- Friendly, professional and attentive employees -- Clean and comfortable lobby with kids area -- Convenient courtesy shuttle read more

Be forwarned, in case you want to use the VRRRM rebate program, don't go to Carson Honda. I was told yesterday they had stopped accepting VRRRM vehicle replacement rebates. They claimed they were not being reimbursed by the program. On the plus side, their internet price quote, excluding the VRRRM program, was the lowest I could find. Got a new CRV for $1000 below sticker price. Saved on sales tax with the lower price a destination fee lower than other dealers. Compared to the "out the door" internet quote from Scott Robinson Honda, I saved $1200 on a 2011 CRV EX. The only downside was the waiting. It took 3 1/2 hours to buy a new car and pay cash for it, even though there was no haggling to speak of. read more

I wish I can give this dealer a lower rating. The most horrible dealer I've ever been to. My husband leased a Honda Accord and the only thing I can say is that the reps. don't even know what their selling. The car had a engine immobilizer system that was never mentioned to us. A month before our lease expired the car wouldn't turn on, so i call the dealer and they told me that i had to tow the car to the dealer at my own personal expense for them to find out what was wrong with the car. I got so upset I had my son with me it was almost six o'clock and I had no one to call at that time to pick me up. You would think that since it was a lease they would cover the towing expense, but NO. I got into such a big argument with the guy who answered the phone in the parts department that I told him i was NOT going to pay for the towing expenses nor any other services they would do on the car. I mean the car did have warranty. The following day I was told about this engine immobilizer system that they never explained to me when I leased the car and the funny thing was that then they changed the story by saying it wasn't that it was the battery. They don't even get the story right in between them little less with the customers. Thankfully it was a lease and not a purchase!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE DEALER AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. In my life would I go back to this dealer or recommend it to anyone. read more

.Go see Ramon Ramirez at Carson Honda. He is the "Helpful Honda Guy" that Honda Motors always advertises about on the radio. End of subject. I was looking for a new affordable car for my daughter. I am not one of those OCD people that agonize over a purchase for months, but I had done some research and knew what I should pay and what options I wanted. When I went looking I felt like a ready-to-buy informed consumer. I went to the "other" Honda dealer in Torrance. I got the run-around, the bait-and-switch, quoted for a higher percentage rate and ultimately high-balled on the car that I wanted, that they did not even have on the lot. Typical car salesman BS. They also got my number and left multiple voice mails. Then I called Carson Honda and got connected to Ramon Ramirez. Ramon quoted me a price that sounded too good to be true. I drove down the following day, and when I arrived Ramon immediately made time for me. He showed me the car that I wanted, which was on the lot as promised, and at the price that was promised. Paper work was fast and easy, with a mild attempt to upsell / accessorize, by the closer Tracey (but she was NEVER pushy, just doing her job, and because of this I actually did buy an upgrade that I could have gotten a bit cheaper elsewhere). When I got back from picking up my daughter to drive the car home it was clean and the tank was full. These guys put honesty and service first and I recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new car. Thank you Carson, Ramon. Tracey and anonymous Sales Manager. read more

Great sales experience. We had been shopping for a CRV for quite some time. We walked out of several dealerships who didn't honor their internet OTD prices. Then we met Mike. Made an OTD deal over the internet. Showed up. Finalized paperwork and drove him. He had the car he committed to having, he gave us the price he committed to over the internet and he made the whole thing very painless. Well done Mike! read more

Excellent dealership ! The sales people aren't pushy and work with you . I went looking for a Honda accord coupe but soon realized that it was outside of my budget. Told my salesmen Luke what I was looking to pay and what I wanted and he found exactly that. I left with a 2013 Honda Civic coupe and absolutely love it. The dealership is very nice, the staff are welcoming, and will make sure you leave satisfied. ASK FOR LUKE !!!! GREAT SALESMAN AND VERY FRIENDLY ! read more

I came into the dealership looking for a vehicle for my daughter. We were greeted by Octavio is was pleasant and helpful in finding a vehicle. We purchased the vehicle and on the way home the engine light came on. We called the sales manager, Javier and despite the fact we didn't purchase a warranty he told us to bring it back and they would take a look at it. The next day I brought the car into the service dept. where I spoke with Christian, who was very helpful. They found the coil was bad and it had to be replaced. The car was repaired within a couple of hours. They took care of the cost and the vehicle is running good now. I was very pleased with the service I got from the three individuals I've mentioned. I would also like to say, Tracey in the finance dept. was very helpful. read more

I am only giving one star because I can not rate this company lower and the experience I had without one. I learned a convenient term today from the dealerships finance person at Carson Honda in Carson CA, "SPOT DELIVERY". This tactic is used for sales on weekends; the customer gives a down payment, seemingly signing a legitimate contract to take possession of a "purchased vehicle". But, the joke is banks and finance company don't do these business transaction on weekends; also, this type of sale gives the car dealership(s) the option up to 10 days to find financing for your "purchase", an open ended contract if you will; to the advantage of the car dealership (read the fine print on the back of the contract; something the dealer will not show you willingly". You make need a magnifying glass). Your options at this point are: You can give the car back (dealer hoping you will either purchase another vehicle of lesser value, or you give a larger down payment or some other scam deal to re-negotiate your contract. DON'T DO IT. The dealer is counting on the fact that you become attached to the car, don't want to be humiliated having to tell friends and family that you have to return your new purchase and that they can get you on a higher down payment. Return the vehicle on your terms, do not return the car until the dealer has stated that your down payment check is at the dealership, this is call Quid pro quo - something for something; in this case their car for your money. This tactic is equivalent to a Bait and Switch - Get yourself a pre-approved loan and if you are asked to give more money pick up your pre-approved papers and shop somewhere else. read more

I bought my 2014 honda accord from Sebastian. He was a great sales person and offered me great customer service. I got very close to the deal I wanted and I love my car. I would recommend if you go here to buy from him he goes over and beyond for his customers. My only concern was the wait time for finance and the variety of inventory. read more

I can't believe some of the reviews here! We were taken care of from the minute we stepped into the sales dept! From Alice in the Internet Sales dept, to Renato our sales person, to Dean the finance rep, to Lily the finance manager and Jonathan in service...they did EVERYTHING to make our experience as smooth and easy as I could ever imagine! We got the car we wanted, at the price we wanted...with no hassle! I was pre-approved for credit online, and although there was some discussion on getting the monthly payment where we needed it to be, these guys worked it out! I have bought many cars in my time, at many different dealerships and this was HANDS DOWN the easiest and most comfortable experience I have ever had in buying a car. I only wish that everyone could have the same experience! If you ignore the other comments, and ask for Alice, Renato, Dean, Lily or Jonathan...you can't go wrong! I traded a 2010 Honda accord & returned a 2012 Honda accord 3 months before the lease term in this dealership. I wish I was never been there & I would not believe the used car employee who called me in for this. They did not do the paper work for any of these two cars & they caused me a lot of head ache. The 2012"s check sent to Honda corp. was not correct & when I asked them to pay it off as we agreed, the used car manager refused to answer my calls afterwards & I got 3 notices from Honda corporation to pay it off asap. I had to pay $300 out of my pocket to an attorney to solve it. when this was done, I received a parking ticket while the car was turned in already. Then I had to see the attorney to take care of this one. Overall, very careless people, & not worth it to be there at all. Don't trust at used car buyers in this dealership!!!! read more

So I actually spoke with Kris, the GM here at Carson Honda, he was super helpful and was able to make a deal that everyone could agree upon. After speaking with him I drove up from south OC just to purchase the car I was interested in. When I arrived I was greeted by Juan who was very helpful and not pushy at all, normal, cool dude. I test drove the car and inspected it and I was satisfied. Since I already had a written offer for the price of the car, the buying process was very easy. I was taken care of and everything went smoothly. No funny charges or sneaky add ons at all. In the end it turned out great. read more

Consider the car insurance prices before signing for a new car. Before you sign for you're new car, I recommend checking with your car insurance first. Honda sales guys will tell you that your car insurance goes down by buying a particular car with them but it depends on which KIND of insurance coverage you get. Not so good at telling me this when before hand. They will embellish things, as sales people do so well, at making it seem like a good deal overall. The manager was good at getting back to me after letting me know about this information after I got a car which was helpful as I was not ok with my insurance going up since I choose to have a full coverage plan. I can pay for cheaper insurance but I won't be covered the same anymore. read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Purchased a used car from them and within six months of the purchase, the transmission has blown up. Understand that this was purchased without a warranty but are you serious, 6 months and we now have to pay $2000.00 for a rebuilt transmission. Transmission DO NOT go bad in 6 months and during Carson Honda purchase inspection of our vehicle, they should have caught the burnt/bad transmission oil just by checking the transmission fluid level. We were told that by Carson Honda that there is nothing that they will do and basically too bad. I can accept buying a used car from private party with this possibly happening but not from a car dealership like Carson Honda. What this means is that they DO NOT check anything on a used car that is on their sales lot. I don't know about a certified car but definitely not the non-certified cars. I can't tell you how upsetting this has been along with the dealership not even trying to assist in any way. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Carson Honda is great. They went above and beyond with their after sale service. I purchased a used Honda Ridgeline one night at Carson Honda and when i got home I noticed a key scratch. The next morning the car alarm was going off when I tried to enter the car and the back up camera wouldn't function. So, I took it to my local stereo shop for rewiring and disconnection of aftermarket alarm. A few days afterwards, the G.M., Kris K., emailed me and asked my experience in purchasing the car. I told him the service was good and Ricky was very helpful, but the paint and alarm had issues. He told me to bring the car in and the Carson Honda would fix the scratch and reimburse me for the cost of taking my alarm/back up camera into the stereo shop to rewired. I did so and was given a loaner car by Sebastian while the work was being done. 5 days later I picked up my newly painted, scratch free car and was reimbursed the amount I paid to fix the alarm/camera. Had a great experience with buying my 2014 Civic. Caesar was a very attentive salesman from start to finish. I was very surprised when he offered to drive my old car back to my house. Keison was the BEST. BUT the people in service suck. They never answer the phone or return messages. I had a due bill to get my car detailed and called 6 times to get an appointment. Finally after no answer or call back Keison made my appointment for me (he seriously is the best salesman on earth). When I took it in for the appointment the guy that helped me said I never made an appointment and they wouldn't detail my car after I drove an hour to get there. After talking to Keison and his manager we figured out that I in fact did have an appointment and the people in service misunderstood the situation. At this point we had figured it out so late that I was told my car probably wouldn't be done until the next day so I got my point across that it needed to be done that night like I was previously promised. When I returned that night to pick up my car I yet again had amazing service from the sales people but once I got into my car I notice that alllll of my air fresheners that I had just bought were gone and my microfiber towels that I keep in here were missing as well as my trunk being absolutely drenched. Do not purchase a car here....they are very good at bait and switch. After finding a 2008 used car I wanted to purchase there, I called ahead and told them I would be down the next morning...made an appointment even...to test drive the car and most likely purchase it. I drove from Camarillo all the way to Carson and arrived at my appointment time. When I arrived, the salesman was running around the lot trying to locate the car. When he came out with the sales manager, I knew we had a problem. The sales manager states that the car was sent out the night prior to northern California and they no longer had it, but he would be more than willing to sell me a new 2011 car. After telling them no, I wanted the car I had come to purchase, he tells me he spoke with the internet sales manager and they could have the car back by Tuesday. So I go ahead and saty let's do the paperwork so when it comes I will drive down here again...all the way from Camarillo,,,to get it. After completing the paperwork, another sales person comes and tells me he has no way of knowing if they can get the car and would have to see if they can find it. After that speech, he promptly begins pitching their new cars for me to purchase. Obviously they put this well-priced Honda Civic on their website so people would come in to see it and then they try to sell you a 2011 car instead. read more

FANTASTIC!! AWESOME!!! 6 STARS There really isn't enough space on this site for me to express my absolute satisfaction with my purchase at Carson Honda. The general manager,Sean Ramezani is a consumate professional, but more importantly he's genuine. He's a man of character and integrity and he made my daughter and myself feel completely comfortable and secure. He was patient and kind and I felt he truly cared about making our car buying experience as smooth and stress free as possible. I just cant say enough about the quality of his character,it just doesn't get any better Lucas Crabtree our salesman was also very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions, described and explained every detail of the car we purchased to my daughter.Bluetooth phone connections, camera,DVD,etc. He too was very patient and kind. No question from my daughter was too insignificant. He brought us coffee, sat with us while the paperwork was being prepared, explained the process, the Sonic corporation and how they price their cars, time flew by. He cared about us. He wasn't just going though the motions like some places. A magnificent salesman, excellent at his craft. Fransesco Roza, who finished us up in finance was perfect.once again, professional, knowledgeable,he explained everything to us. He just didn't throw the contract down and tell us where to initial and sign,he carefully and slowly explained it all to us. We walked out of his office knowing exactly what we had just signed Finally, the price for the car we purchased was unbeatable. It was so good a competitor told us to jump on it. We researched the vehicle extensivley on the internet through various sources and Carson Honda had the absolute best price for our Honda CRV. I STRONGLY recommend Carson Honda. There's an air of quality and harmony when you're in the showroom. You can feel it. Although it was rather busy when we were there, it was a controlled, stress free scenario. Very very professional and smooth. I just cant say enough about how absolutely perfect my experience at the store was. If youre planning on buying, you owe it to yourself to at least give them a chance. Just go in and experience it for yourself. I guarantee you will be impressed read more

GREAT SERVICE!!! I brought my car in for a regular maintenance oil change and was informed that I had a couple of leaks that needed to be taken care of. By the looks of the other reviews, I feel like I'm not the only one submitting a poor review. I just bought a 2013 Mini Cooper S from Mini of Camarillo the past Saturday (12/12/14) with easy and honestly paid more than my initial offer to Carson Honda on a 2012 pre-owned Mini Cooper S (which is still listed on their site / Stock#: TCTY27475). I would have bought the Mini from Carson Honda probably around the same price of 21k but their lack of professionalism got me upset by wasting my time for a simple answer of "yes / no or with a counter offer". I deal with large retailers everyday, Costco, Target, Walmart, AutoZone, etc and if Ive learned anything, the fundamentals of a follow up and returning a phone call is the key to a successful relationship and closing a sale. Carson Honda had neither. Long story short, I put in an offer and was countered. So I put in another offer and they responded back with, "we will call you back". From this point I heard nothing and I ended up calling the next day 4 times and searching for the sales manager (forgot her name but if anyone wants to know, Ill find out) and they were no where to be found. So obviously i was being ignored and shoved off due to my offer? So I ended up heading to the dealership and they wouldn't show face but had one of their floor sales people relay the message to me, they could not agree to my 2nd offer. The point of this is, follow up and respond to your customers whether you like the offers or not and don't tell me your to busy to make a 2 minute phone call or write an email or text. I ended up buying a Mini cooper from Camarillo because I felt good dealing with the professionalism of the sale and finance team (my review for them has been posted on their Yelp page). Carson Honda has a major lack of experience with dealing business with customers. I will never work with Carson Honda again NOR REFER ANYONE. I ended up buying a 2013 Mini cooper with 10k Miles for 21.4k out the door vs my 1st initial offer to Carson Honda was 1st offer was 19.5k and 2nd: 20k. If the offer was to low counter and convince me, they new how bad i wanted it. If they would have followed up and held onto me, I would of bought their Preowned mini around 21k. Thats how bad i wanted it. Carson Honda has a huge lack of experience and only looks for quick sales. Don't even bother to deal with them. read more

I was looking for a car to buy on a Saturday morning, after going to another dealership and being blown off and lied to, I called Carson Honda and spoke to April. I told April exactly what I was looking for and how much I wanted to pay, she told me she would look for the car. Within an hour she called me back and told me that she'd located the car. I went over right away and met with Bems and Sebastion, they agreed to my price and without any hassle or haggle, they had the car brought from another dealership for me. By 3pm that day I was in my new car. They were polite, friendly and respectful. I never felt like they were trying to up-sell or take advantage me, right from the beginning they were great. I was so happy with them that the next week I decided to buy a second car for the family, I called Sebatian and told him I was looking for exactly the same car, they found it and with only and hours notice had the car at their dealership for us. This time I dealt with Calvin for the paperwork, he showed me the same level of respect. He made sure to tell me that we were getting exactly the same deal as the first car which was a price that I requested (I used AAAs car buying service), I never even had to ask. We did wait a little long for financing the second time but it was still early on a Saturday morning so I think people were still getting in. The checked on us often and made sure we were comfortable, Calvin actually spent quite a bit of time chatting with us so we didn't get bored or frustrated. In reality it was only about 40 minutes, so it wasn't that bad and Calvin made it way more tolerable. The finance person was Lily, she was super friendly and was so concerned about us getting the same deal that she obsessed over a $4 difference. She made the long wait go away by being friendly and personable and making us forget about it. Calvin took several minutes to help us get my girlfriend's phone paired and the stereo setup, he gave a rundown on all of the features and we were done. Came here for a safety recall on my car for the airbags with an appointment and was expected to wait till the end of the day since there was a lot of recalls. Fine by me, because this was something I had to get done for my safety. But when I come back to pick up my car, they tell me they did an inspection check and that I need a few things repaired or maintained at the expense of over $1000 dollars, but failed to realize that I had all these things maintained or repaired quite recently (as in 2-3 months ago, with the exception of one having been done a little less than a year ago.) They were basing this solely on the mileage of my car, not the actual condition of it. I don't appreciate them trying to up sell me on repairs I had just gotten done recently, and at a reasonable price somewhere else for that matter. read more

The team at this dealership is awesome. I called numerous times trying to get my finance done before even stepping onto the lot, and their online rep called me back every time! She worked with me so that I already had half the paperwork done by the time we got there. All the people we worked with were accommodating, pleasant, and just plain cool. Miguel, our sales guy, totally bent over backwards, making sure we were happy with our pick (went with the HR-V and I love it).
