I recently purchased a new 2026 Honda CRV Hybrid from Gardena Honda and wanted to share how wonderful my experience was with David, Amalia, and Shaddi. I have been a Toyota owner for the past 13 years and truly never thought I would drive anything other than a Toyota. But the moment I test drove the Honda, I completely fell in love with it -- and so did my 9-year-old! Although the entire process, from the test drive to finally getting the keys, was long and a bit exhausting, David and Amalia made the experience feel warm and comfortable for us. By the time we were wrapping up, it was already past dinner time, and they made sure we had snacks and beverages. David even gave my son his entire medium pizza because he was so hungry -- which we thought was incredibly kind (and honestly pretty funny!). David worked as quickly as he could to help us get through the finance process and get us on our way. Amalia was incredibly sweet and even helped me clean out my Prius so I could transfer everything into my new car and get home faster. I also want to thank Shaddi, who really made the deal happen by getting my monthly payment even lower than what I had asked for. That meant a lot and truly made the purchase possible for me. Their kindness, patience, and genuine care turned what could have been a stressful and exhausting process into a really memorable experience. I'm so grateful for their help and would absolutely recommend working with David, Amalia, and Shaddi if you visit Gardena Honda. I love my new CRV!!

After days of going back and forth through multiple quotes, David Sanchez (sales) was able to get me the best possible deal to stay and remain within my budget. As I have experienced other car dealers in the past, he was not pushy, stayed transparent, patient and ultimately supportive while taking care of me. Bryan in finance took extremely good care of me as well and made this process on my 2026 CRV Hybrid Sport seamless. Shoutout to you both!

Please see my prior reviews for detailed information on Gardena Honda. This review is long and detailed so If you have problems smogging your Honda see them about it and I'm sure they can help you -- California has become a nightmare with the new regulations. This update is to praise the service team -- the drama that I have been through at the test only smog station to get my car smogged with the new computed regulations in California has been a nightmare. My Honda Accord Sport failed the smog pre test I was absolute perplexed because my car is in fantastic shape and my prior cars have always passed a smog test but now the computer for my Accord says "Cat Not Ready" . He can't smog it because it will fail and says that I don't drive it enough and to drive the car over 200 miles and try again I do drive my car so I'm like wth -- anyway 4 more attempts later it failed again and again now I'm annoyed. My daughter drove me on the freeway all over Los Angeles to Inglewood 60+ miles and back then and it failed. My sister drove all over Los Angeles Glendale Manhattan Beach Downey and back it failed wth is the problem I'm soo over this ish with the computer saying "Cat Not Ready". Drive a few hundred miles more they say and I'm pissed off. What more can I do this is so stupid I'm not built for all that freeway and street driving it's making my joints flare up I have rheumatoid arthritis and I am feeling miserable. I called Gardena Honda speaking to a mechanic named Art he pulled my maintenance records the entire history and says my car is in great condition low mileage etc etc but he gave me hope this problem would be handled by the Gardena Honda maintenance team - he told me what they could do to get the car "Smog Ready" I was amped and given a 9:00 am Appointment for Wednesday 4/16/25 I met with Art he wrote up the issues re: the smog and what I needed done to get the car smog ready and the mechanic drove it off to get started. I waited in the lounge area its very comfortable I bought a packed lunch and a book -- they have a bunch of vending machine filled with food and sandwiches snacks drinks candy iced coffee soda etc and free coffee I relaxed and the time flew bye they told me it was ready at 11:30 am. Art told me to go immediately to a Test Only Station I did and my car passed the smog test in 20 minutes. I am so grateful for everything Gardena Honda .. Thanks a bunch to the team who worked on my car you're awesome. My sister Loni C. Is retired from American Honda Corporate purchasing all of her Honda's from the company and purchased this car from Gardena Honda as well regularly servicing it all 13 1/2 years she owned it that's why it's in this amazing condition. I am the current owner and her sister and have continued to have it serviced here at Gardena Honda as well. Thank you Gardena Honda. Art & the service department mechanics. RUN. A basic expectation when buying a vehicle from a dealership is that they can properly register it and provide plates and stickers in a timely manner. In fact, in California this is the law. I purchased my vehicle from Gardena Honda in November. My plates didn't show up for over 2 months and my temporary registration they had given me was about to expire. I called the DMV to find out what to do. They told me plates were issued a month earlier and mailed to the dealership. It took me SIXTEEN phone calls (4 voicemails and leaving my name and number to be called back 7 times) to the dealership to get a live person on the phone who could actually answer my question. My call was forwarded to a voicemail 4 times and I left my name and number SIX different times being told they would call me back. I sent urgent emails to the General Manager, Customer Relations, anything I could find and still I heard nothing back. When I finally got someone on the phone, they said they never received the plates from the DMV and that the plates were shipped to my home address on file. They told me there must have been an issue with my address & that I should order replacement plates and stickers myself. They told me this "happens all the time" and blamed the DMV. A week later, plates show up at my doorstep. These are NOT the replacements that I just ordered & paid for through the DMV. Instead, the USPS tracking info shows Gardena Honda created a shipping label for my plates on January 20th and they sat at the dealership for a MONTH - the package was not actually handed to USPS until February 20th (a full month later and 2 days AFTER I finally got someone on the phone who told me they never came!) During that time, my temporary registration expired, leaving me driving in uncertainty. To make matters worse, when the plates finally arrived from the dealership, the registration card indicated a sticker had been issued, but no sticker was included. Therefore, I am STILL stuck waiting for the replacement plates that I now had to obtain on my own AND driving with temporary plates that are expired in the meantime. The USPS tracking timeline (photo attached) directly contradicts what I was told. At best, this reflects extremely poor internal controls and a lack of accountability. At worst, customers are being given inaccurate information to deflect responsibility. Registration is not optional. It is a legal requirement. A dealership that cannot manage something this basic is failing at one of the core responsibilities of selling a vehicle. Proceed with caution.

I recently visited Gardena Honda with my wife to look at certified pre-owned SUVs. At first, things started off well. A salesman greeted us warmly and showed us a 2024 CR-V Hybrid with about 18k miles on it. The vehicle, however, had no window sticker. When I asked for the price, I was told it was \$37k. We took it for a test drive, and afterward, I said I was interested and wanted to negotiate. The salesman was fine with that and had us sit down inside. He asked to run my credit, but I told him I wanted to settle on a price first. While waiting, I decided to look up the listing online and found the exact same vehicle posted on their own website for \$32k. That immediately raised a red flag. The salesman eventually came back with a "discounted" price of \$36.5k, which I found insulting considering the online price was already \$32k. When I pointed this out, the sales manager, Isaac, got involved. Unfortunately, his approach was unprofessional from the start. He claimed the vehicle had \$7.5k worth of dealer add-ons like paint protection and an alarm system. After negotiating, he brought an offer of \$32k, with an additional $2.5k in alarm and paint protection, bringing back up to \$34k. He then insisted the offer was only good for that day, pressuring me to commit immediately. To make matters worse, during the negotiation Isaac asked me why I was "talking weird" and suggested I might be recording him simply because my phone was on the table. I found this comment completely out of line. He later added, "Well, nobody is holding a gun to your head," when I asked if I had to purchase the vehicle today at that price instead of going home to think about it, which is a wildly inappropriate thing to say to a customer. Even after supposedly removing some add-ons(alarm and paint protection), Isaac then said I would have to purchase gap insurance at \$1,200 and finance the vehicle for 84 months with Honda in order to qualify for the price. Forcing a customer into a specific loan term and add-ons just to get the advertised price is unfair and misleading. At that point, I walked out. This dealership needs to do better. I have worked in sales and professional environments myself, and I would never treat a client the way we were treated here. Between the hidden markups, pressure tactics, and unprofessional remarks, I cannot recommend Gardena Honda.

Absolutely 10 out of 10. I have literally never had a car shopping experience that was so seamless and fun. Serge was our sales guy and he was amazing. Top tier customer service from the time we pulled into the lot. He really got us a great deal. De'jon in finances equally amazing and funny. He made sure that everything was explained thoroughly. There was absolutely no pressure to buy. We came to this dealership purely by chance. I had visited another Honda dealership that was closer to where at home but the service was horrible. This was the best decision that we ever made. I will definitely tell all of my friends and family that are looking for a car to check out Gardena Honda. You guys are absolutely the best.

I'm considering coming in for a purchase, but I'm nervous with covid and so want to make sure this place is safe for me. What safety protocols are there to keep the customer and the employees safe? How often do you test your employees?

Never tested employees that I'm aware of and a few of them can be seen walking around without masks on a regular basis. They should take health protocols a lot more serious in my opinion.

They stand behind their work and even told me to come back if anything needed to be re-torqued after the suspension settled. The results came out great. The stance looks much better with the factory rake reduced, and the ride quality still feels smooth and OEM-like. No noises, vibrations, or issues afterward. The vehicle drives straight and handles great. Professional service, quality work, and solid communication throughout the process. I have a Toyota Sienna 2012 and the timing case seal developed a oil leak and they have to remove the motor to reseal the timing case cover. This is a major job and I wanted to make sure the company I have do this type of work on my engine had the experience and technicians certified to perform this repair. Being a referral and first time customer I could not have had a better experience with Shige's. My first call to explain my issue with my van I spoke to Diana the service advisor. Immediately she spends the time to listen and give you all the necessary information you are inquiring about. She cares about helping you and to make sure all questions are answered in a professional manner. Andrew the service manager is a pleasure to work with. He will answer any technical questions and makes sure all the repairs are done as quoted. They are very detailed in giving diagnostic reports, and estimate quotes. The repair facilities are clean and organize with all the equipment to perform repairs. After the engine repair was completed in a timely manner the work was excellent and all repairs were done as quoted. They will go that extra mile to make sure the customer is completely satisfied with the repairs. This is how you build a relationship with loyal customers. I'm glad I was referred to them and I will continue to drive the 30 miles to have them perform repairs on my automobiles. I definitely would recommended them for you auto repair needs.

They offered free shuttle service (drop off and pick up), which was really nice as well. After oil change was done, they did a free multi-point inspection and sent me a comprehensive report - including pictures to prove the inspection was actually done. They told me about an alignment that needed to be done, and was very honest about the situation. They said it's not a huge emergency to fix yet, but I decided to do it anyways to save another trip to the mechanic. They did the alignment in another 2 hours and picked me up when it was done. Car: Toyota Avalon 2019 Pricing: Oil change - about $100 | Alignment - about $180 Total time: ~4.5 hours Service: 10/10 Honesty: 10/10 They will become my full-time mechanic.
