No one is here and it took them 12 minutes to get me three chicken fingers that are ass,
    Zach H.

Food was meh, took way too long, about 10 min wait for 3 tenders and I was the only one at the restaurant, they wouldn't make very much eye contact and kept speaking only Spanish even while taking my order they were having a conversation, as an assistant manager in the fast food industry I would fire the entire management team that is there at 3 o'clock

I was really hungry and this location had tons of really good food options for me. I know most Carl's Jr. so I've basically the same thing but this location had a lot of delicious items on the menu for me to choose from. The double bacon western burger was actually really good. I've never had the burger before and it was very tasty. It had a lot of cheese on the burger which I absolutely enjoy because I am a huge cheese fan. Also the bun was very soft and it was not soggy. I ordered a Dr Pepper to drink and it was really good as well. It was not watered down like most fast food locations My son ordered one of the cheesecakes for dessert and that was absolutely delicious. I took mini bites of the cheesecake, honestly I probably ate like half of it LOL. My son also had the french fries as well. They were very hot and salty just the way we like them. Everything we ate at this location was very very good. We were also happy with the service we received as well

Leaving Ocean's Church after service everyone in our group of four wanted to go eat, save for me…read more My lovely daughter swiftly alchemized my pessimism into gung-ho excitability once she suggested "Daddy there's an upscale burger bar at the Tustin Marketplace..." Cuz nothing on planet earth -save for my wife's lovely figure, of course- will get me going quicker than a well made burger, executed flawlessly. Hopdoddy Burger Bar gets a LOT right: Well made glamburgers that could grace the cover of "Bon Apetit" or "Playboy" what with their glistening, fluffy brioche buns; Creatively christened names; Vast arsenal of craft beers ready on tap; and quick, fast-casual service. Like Jerry Maguire, these folks had me at "Hello!' However, your favorite Yelp correspondent has savored well made burgers on two continents and in 42 states. Here's some tasting notes that my (probable/likely/one day) future son in law and I co-devised: The brioche buns, despite their pillowy softness and foodie-porn good looks, make a lousy vessel for any of their "wetter" burger choices. On Eli's Caddy Wagyu and my Good Night Burger, we both were left with bottom buns soaked like a sponge with various toppings incl bacon jam, house sauce, tomato juice and grilled onions. These were both soggier than my bride's handkerchief after watching "The Notebook!" Please consider offering picky burger snobs like Yours Truly a more suitable bun choice that can withstand the assault of wet ingredients! Suggested vehicles include potato buns, ciabatta, sourdough or even pretzel. Also, pls consider selling customers a small side of fries that ACCOMPANIES the burger- Charging folks $7-13 a la carte when they're already spending $11-$24 for a (glam)burger seems mildly exploitative. Pro Tip- Try dipping your fries in their housemade Chipotle Ketchup is a flavor bomb! My bill, for two gourmet burgers, a large fries and a diet coke, was $47 and change.

Hopdoddy is a burger shop and bar with large selection of beer cocktails and burgers. We sat at the bar so was served quickly. The beers are served cold and always refreshing got the hazy IPA and was delicious. I got the bacon jam burger and hubby got the bison burger also got small fires to share. Bacon jam burger wasn't overly greasy not too large with fluffy bun, love the bacon jam flavor, hubbys burger was less fatty but didn't taste too gamy. Fries were good portion for $5, finished 3/4 of it. Hopdoddy never disappoints, will be returning customer here!

There's casual seating with shade, which is nice for a laid-back burger stop. We ordered the Double Smashburger with chili on the side, Bacon Cheeseburger, Western Bacon Slider, and tater tots. The beef had a really good texture and didn't have that overly processed or filler-filled feel. The Double Smashburger especially had those crispy edges that make a good smashburger so satisfying. And the chili?! I cannot stop thinking about it. It was so flavorful that I wanted to dip every single tater tot in it. Food came out fast, and the customer service was awesome too. You can tell there's so much thought and attention to detail put into every single item, and nothing felt like an afterthought. The burger was so good -- the meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the onions were caramelized to absolute perfection. I loved that same attention to detail on the loaded fries too. The perfectly caramelized onions on top added so much flavor and made them feel like more than just your typical loaded fries. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully put together. It's one of those little hidden gems you could easily pass by without realizing how good the food inside actually is. We were lucky and found a parking space on Bush St. We both ordered the Classic Hammer Burger ($10) and a regular order of shoestring fries. I was surprised at how busy they were. The burgers come out fresh and hot. They are smashed thin and have a crispy edge. The slice of cheese is perfectly melted. There are grilled onions at the bottom of the burger and the top is dressed with thick cut pickles and a decorative drizzle of Hammer Sauce. One of the things I like most about this burger is the overall texture and the proportions of beef to the steamed potato bun. It's soft and melty and delicious. The fries are great too (thin and crispy) and they have a nice selection of house sauces. Their signature Hammer Sauce, White BBQ sauce, Garlic Sauce, Chipotle Mayo, Jalapeño Ranch and Ranch. I went around the world and tried every one. Customizing your sauce by mixing a few together is not a bad idea and likely a veteran move. I have had their sweet potato fries before and they are above average. I have also had their chili cheese fries and a cup of chili...not bad. Their Flatty Melt ($11) was the first burger I tried when going the first time. Unique and tasty. I've also had Spicy Smash ($11) that has a pile of grilled jalapeño's on top. It's hot so be prepared. They have a nice selection of beers but I haven't gone down that road yet. Lunch was so good, I bought my son-in-law a $75 gift certificate. The downtown area has really be revitalized and now it's fun to walk around.

The staff were friendly and attentive. We arrived right before the dinner rush. The place had TVs on and music playing. It seemed like a fun place to eat and hang out. One of the staff mentioned how they were packed last weekend with all the FIFA games. We ordered take out - a classic Hammer Burger, a half order of chili cheese fries, and a small order of onion rings. Sauce station was near the soda, you could get whichever ones you liked. Despite our 15 minute drive home, the food was still warm and really delicious. The burger had good flavor with and without their house sauce. The chili cheese fries were skinny fries with a cheese sauce and bean-less chili. The chili was filling and had a little kick to it. The batter-fried onion rings were (still) crispy and yummy with both ranch and the house sauce. We will definitely be back to fill our smashburger and chili cheese fries cravings! It kind of reminds me of Five Guys, but the meat tastes fresher and more grass-fed, it does not feel as overpriced, and there are more options for cheeses and toppings. I also like the surprisingly generous portions of fried potatoes, whether you get the French fries or potato chips. I only have one big issue with Mooyah, though: they oversalt the hell out of the fried potatoes. It is especially bad with the homemade potato chips, which really sucks because I can tell they are homemade. Unfortunately, when I order online, I do not have the option to request no salt. This is frustrating because I like to control my sodium intake, and I do not get any real say in how much salt is put on my potatoes. I clearly get an overload of salt whenever I eat fried potatoes here. Otherwise, I like this spot. I just have to be prepared to get a small size of fried potatoes for my body's sake, sodium-wise.
