Standard Chickfila with clear signage to drive thru. I imagine it gets really busy here on weeknights after sports practice. But at 7am on a Saturday, it was quiet. Came here to compliment the friendly and pleasant staff. The young man at the drive thru asked clarifying questions and was a friendly face so early in the morning. And Jewellia at the window was lovely...we had a nice conversation as my order came up. This is still my fave Chick fil a location. The little play area has been my go-to during the summer break. Love the little play area. It's the perfect t way for kids to be entertained while the food is being prepared or while adults are chilling! Ordering is super easy on the app. You get so many rewards when you become silver status. The spicy chicken sandwich is delicious. The kids love the nuggets, ice cream and pink lemonade. They ask you for a name when you dine in just to butcher it, give me a number.... I watch 15 cars go through the drive through before they serve me a sandwich 15 minutes later with cold fries. The ketchup is served in a wasteful impossible to open container. The sauce is horrible, and I immediately felt sick after eating half my meal before I tossed it, I never waste food. Went into this location, expecting to get a replacement for my meal because of the fruit flies and I was told that they were going to write my name down and and I could come back within 30 days and get my replacement because I was in a time crunch for work. Lo and behold I come in and spoke to Raquel Pho a human resource assistant manager, and she was not even empathetic of the fact that I have to pay for it again she directed me to customer service and to do everything with them. It just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth when I was told that I was to follow a process and then come into the restaurant and explained another thing. For some reason, I felt like she had a high of "not helping" people so I just think everybody should know the management style in this location. So I get my remake of the order again and it's wrong again and I go back and I explained to her I don't have the items that I asked for and she gives me some snooty comment saying I confirmed with you instead of saying oh I'm sorry about that or no worries. Let me remake that for you or something Customer Service but clearly she has, a bad day or something and I felt it ever since I came in. I don't know if she thought I was bullshitting about getting a $18 remake but honestly, you should not be in management Raquel and I will notify corporate about this. Lady: You did not ask for any, how many would you like? Me: I did ask for some, I would like 4, please. Met a Karen employee tonight, a racist, I've waited for the customers who were whites before me and they took around 10 mins to order, for my turn that waitress obviously performed impatiently and kept urging me. After then I received an order to deliver when I was in my seat, I went up to take it, the Karen showed an unbelievable attitude on her face, then I came back to finish my food and ready to go deliver, not a long time just in few minutes. She suddenly came up to me and said she gonna block me because I made the customer to wait and I should immediately leave to deliver. I didn't entangle with her and walked out the store, and I noticed that she was after me and stared at my car until I drove away. I'm curious if she's the mom of the customer, however I just texted my customer and told him I would deliver after I finished my dinner, they said ok, no rush. May I ask what kind of rules or regulations Chick Fil A set up to make the drivers to deliver immediately? Once the drivers confirm pickup the food, whether or not the restaurant still got responsibility to make sure the food got delivered? I want to know how would she threat to block me? Every year I'm always excited to go to chick fil a and get this lovely surprise of a heart shaped chicken biscuit! This particular chick fil a is the best one in Irvine for service and food quality. They don't charge you for a regular size cup of ice water and their sandwiches are always well made! Their spicy deluxe is probably the best option here and the ingredients are always great. I often compare this store to the one on Jamboree, the service over there is very different and less welcoming and their food quality is randomly inconsistent. The only downside is the cookies they serve here are always dry and hard, either second day cookies or over baked. Overall it's still the best one in Irvine! read more
