Love the western bacon cheese burger. My kids are picky so they always change up what comes on the burgers, but they get it right every time. They work quickly and keep the line moving. Great place if you are short on time. read more

Back in the day, I was a fan of Carl's Jr. What happened to them? Their regular burgers taste blah. Meh, I've had better. Seriously, I'd rather eat one of their Beyond Burgers now. If they did not have their coupons, I would not be patronizing their establishments anymore. That being said, everything else about my visit to this Carl's Jr was good. The restaurant was very clean probably because they were not busy at all. Service was good. Will continue to go to a Carls Jr once in awhile as long as they send out those coupons. I still hold out hope that the food will be as good as it used to be. read more

Since I started working from home and not nearby It has been along time since I had stopped in here for lunch. Was nearby and needed a quick burger.. wishing I hadnt at this point. The "general manager" Leslie is a piece of work.. She does such a good job at making her employees miserable as well as the poor customers out here in the dining room that have to listen to her barking orders.. Running errands. Carl's was on the way home. Ordered a 5 piece chicken strips meal. My total was $10.81. Got to the window to pay. Gave the worker $21. Another employee gave me my food. First worker asked second what change to give me. Second worker asked how much my total was. Second worker gave me $10 change and told me "it's ok." I thought the cash register figured out change. Neither knew I was supposed to get 19 cents back, too. I accepted it and drove away shaking my head. Realized I never got my drink. Didn't care at that point and drove home. At the window we were told to park up front as our tenders were being made fresh. We parked out front and started to get worried after about 10 mins waiting. Last week, I went to this location & used the bathroom while I waited for my order. One stall was occupied. Through the crack I got a glimpse of the toilet completely covered with period blood. I used the other stall, came out afterwards, and saw that a Carl's Jr. employee was my stall neighbor. She didn't even wash her hands after using the bathroom. I'm a fan of carls jr and had a Carne asada burrito from another carls jr/green burrito recently and it was great, way better than expected. I got one here today and it completely sucked. It was way under-filled and it was basically their asada swimming in guacamole so the individual flavors that make up a burrito were lost and it was just mush. Went through Drive Thru, ordered a Ice Cream Shake & 3 Piece Chicken Tenders. She accidentally gave my order to the person in front of me. She apologized and I quickly got my order minutes after. Alright let me first say I really like Carl's Jr and hate giving them a bad review. Six dollar guacamole burgers are bomb... Anyways the cashier was so dumb at this location it made my brain hurt. He took like six minutes taking the order of the lady in front of me so long a dude left the line. I was in Bakersfield paying a visit to the local theatre with my friends. We were craving some burgers and decided to stop by and eat out at Carl's Jr. Upon entering this establishment I noticed small breadcrumbs on the floor, a really long line for the register, and to top it off....the cashier was not very polite to his coworkers. I was also not able to use a coupon which was still valid at this branch of Carl's Jr. Overall, I thought Santa Fe burger was ok. I haven't been to Carl's Jr. in literally years. I'm in my 60's and don't do much fast food anymore. But, my wife was out of town and I remembered what a treat Carl's used to be when the kids were at home, so I stopped in. I got a a Western Bacon Cheeseburger, it was NOT good. Carl's quality has dropped off the charts compared to a few years ago. Nothing on it was fresh, not even the bun. The bacon was honesty closer to jerky than any other meat product I can think of. The patty was greasy and the bun was stale. Why a disappointment. Will probably be several more years before I come back. Sad to see a good company give up and put out a product like this. read more
