Rigatoni and Lobster Ravioli!!! Divineee
Erykah B.

I mean it's Carbone. Literally nothing could go wrong. The famous rigatoni had no notes. Everything was perfect. Server knew literally everything.

Arianna R.

Dear Carbone, i love you. First fine dining experience where they give you so much starters included. The bread was AMAZING. One of them tasted like pizza, they were so soft and delicious. They brought out this aged cheese too that was so good, and pickled cauliflower. The staff are super attentive and polite. I of course ordered the vodka rigatoni and it was so good and creamy. We ordered the chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert and it was so rich and decadent. Definitely a must try! The ambiance in there is dark and definitely great for pictures or a nice girls night out or date night!

I had high expectations for Carbone, especially given its reputation, but unfortunately, my experience left me feeling disappointed. THE FOOD The food itself wasn't the problem- the value was. Charging nearly $200 for a 2.5-pound lobster and serving what appeared to be no more than 10 ounces of meat is unacceptable. I've ordered lobster countless times, and this was nowhere close to what should come from a lobster of that size. It honestly felt like a bait-and-switch. At Carbone's prices and reputation, I expected transparency and quality, not to leave wondering if I had just paid hundreds of dollars for an empty shell. It completely overshadowed the rest of the meal and left a terrible impression. THE SERVICE Our wait staff was excellent- friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. When I raised my concern about the lobster, however, there wasn't a meaningful solution offered. The manager did bring out complimentary meatballs and two slices of cake, which was appreciated, but it didn't address the actual issue. I requested the veal entrée (about $125) as a gesture of goodwill, but that request was denied. I left feeling that my concerns were acknowledged but not truly resolved. THE VIBE The ambiance is everything you'd expect from Carbone- stylish, energetic, and full of old-school charm. It's a beautiful restaurant with a lively atmosphere, making it a great place for a special occasion. Ultimately, the atmosphere and attentive wait staff weren't enough to make up for what felt like poor value and an unsatisfactory resolution to a legitimate concern. At this level of dining, guests should leave feeling impressed--not questioning whether they received what they paid for. Our total bill was close to $1000. UNACCEPTABLE.

Lobster ravioli was decadent but a little too salty. Spicy rigatoni amazing as always. Love the free snacks and bread. Tableside Caesar salad may have been a bit overrated for $38. Service was good. Miami vibes inside

Bread basket! Some amazing bread with tomatoes on top. I loved the complementary cauliflower salad!

Beautiful and fun atmoshlhere. Delicious food. We had the spicy rigatoni and the lobster ravioli. We shared both items and they were fabulous. At the beginning they brought out this amazing bread and colliflower salad. Loved both of them! The table side Caesar salad was the best ceaser we had ever had. We had great service. Seats are somewhat close to each other and it does have a vibrant somewhat rushed feel. The atmosphere is very cozy and beautiful. You do need to get the reservations pretty far in advance. They have huge and wonderful desserts! I definitely would recommend coming hungry!

The venue is truly beautiful and stunning. The staff is attentive and very welcoming. I loved the table side Caesar salad, the croutons could be a meal on their own, so good . The spicy rigatoni pasta was something I'd come back for again , again, and again!

Shrimp - $32 per piece but huge!

Another delicious carbone experience for the books!!! We came here for a date night. They were able to seat us right away. We choose the indoor seating this time around, but I think I prefer the outdoor seating. Indoors was lovely. It was dark, sexy, no bugs, and the perfect temperature. We ordered: Faust wine 5/5 All the usual free apps 5/5 Grilled Octopus 5/5 Spicy Rigatoni 5/5 Veal Parmesan 5/5 The service was great! They had amazing team work to provide the perfect high class dinning for guest. I never had to think about water being refilled, wine glass being refilled, or crumbs on the table. They checked in with us just enough. Price: If you have drinks, apps, entree, and dessert expect to spend around $300 or more. Portions: Not the largest portions for "family size" but if it's just two it may be filling enough because they give you bread, cheese, cured meats, and pickled cauliflower for the appetizers. Overall, this is one of our favorite spots and it's truly worth the hype. For it being F1 weekend it was not as hectic as expected.

Carbone was a phenomenal experience. Fabulous ambiance, beautiful spot, and great service. Apps were amazing. Cons: apps are as expensive as entrees, pastas were too Al dente for my taste , and prices are wild. But all in all amazing experiences and can't wait to go back

Natalia G.

Reservations are required, we booked ours online. Our first time here was amazing, the table service definitely makes me wanna go back. They bring you complementary basket of bread, meats, cheese, pickled cauliflower, and Italian desserts at the end. The Caesar salad was made to order in front of us. The croutons were the best thing ever. My spicy rigatoni definitely had a kick to it!

Getting a reservation at Carbone is difficult. I've dined at their nyc location and felt the reservation was much easier to get in Miami! That said, the experience didn't quite live up to the hype. I finally decided I would write a yelp review about it! We went for an early dinner, and the vibe was surprisingly quiet. Definitely not the lively "scene" you hear about. Service was also a bit off. At one point our server didn't even know how to properly pour a beer, which felt odd for a place that's supposed to be known for polished, old school hospitality. We started with the complimentary bread, which was a nice touch. I had beers while my date ordered a Vesper martini. We also had the scapece to start. For entrees, I had the spicy vodka rigatoni, and it leaned more *undercooked* than al dente. I get that it's supposed to have a bite, but this felt like it missed the mark, which was disappointing since it's their signature dish. My date got the orecchiette Vito, which was solid but not especially impressive. We finished with the hazelnut chocolate cake for dessert. It was decent, but nothing we would go out of our way for. Overall, it was just okay. Not bad, but not worth the level of hype or the reservation stress. I would give it another shot, but next time I would go later in the evening to see if the energy and hopefully the execution is better.

AMAZING AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you Carbone for making my friends birthday extra special!

Farah A.

They always exceed my expectations here. An absolute classic. A meal here never misses. Between the rigatoni or the veal chop and the Cesar salad or beef carpaccio you're always in for a good treat. And the best part of all -- you have Frank Sinatra playing the entire time and the service is absolutely fantastic. We love a spot with great hospitality!

Antipasti
Elsie M.

Dining at Carbone Miami felt less like dinner and more like stepping into a perfectly choreographed culinary experience. From the moment we were seated, the service was nothing short of extraordinary polished, attentive, and effortlessly warm. Our server, Caesar, was phenomenal. One of the highlights of the evening was watching him craft the tableside Caesar salad right in front of us a classic touch that felt both theatrical and nostalgic. Coincidentally (and fittingly), having Caesar prepare a Caesar salad made the moment even more memorable. The balance of the dressing, crisp romaine, and freshly grated cheese was perfection. The spicy rigatoni absolutely lived up to its legendary reputation. Perfectly al dente, coated in that signature creamy, spicy vodka sauce rich, bold, and deeply satisfying without being overwhelming. Every bite reminded me why this dish has such a devoted following. Beyond the pasta, the table was filled with beautifully presented dishes, vibrant antipasti, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails that complemented the meal perfectly. The warm lamp-lit tables, elegant plating, and lively yet intimate atmosphere made the entire evening feel special. And of course, dessert was the perfect finale a sweet little celebration that capped off an unforgettable meal. Carbone delivers on every level: iconic food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that feels both glamorous and welcoming. If you're looking for a true Miami dining experience that blends old-school Italian charm with modern energy, this is it. I'll absolutely be back.

Ask the Community - Carbone

Do they allow birthday cakes and can they store them in the fridge?

We'd be happy too! Jimmy (owner). Just ask the cashier or manager on duty

I notice the dress code says no open toed shoes- but what about nice heels for women?

I had open toe Valentinos no problem they just don't want you to wear flip flops

Can you order take out because I doubt they let me chill in shorts in there?

Wear shorts to the beach or an outside BBQ. Not to a restaurant.

Does the Miami location open for lunch, my reservation on resy says 2PM?? Update* I went for my lunch reservation and they were open!

It is not

Can I bring my toddler? Will they have a booster seat?

I did not see any children there. I wouldn't take my kids there. Its too nice for kids. They would just ruin your experience.

Does "no athletic wear" in the dress code include shoes? Getting some new Nike's before my trip out, and I'd hate to have to pack TOO many pairs of shoes...

Do you have to wear a suit and tie or can I just go how I be in sweatpants and a hoodie also do y'all offer take out I wouldn't mind smoking then eating in the car chillen?

Do they have gluten free options?

Just the rigatoni & I'm sure you could request a caesar w/out croutons. I'd definitely let the waitstaff know about any celiac/GF allergies that way they could properly handle your requests 🙃

Is there any free parking?

No, but there is street parking & you can download the app "ParkMobile" & pay under your designated zone

Are dogs allowed?

No, it would be best to leave your dog at home when eating at this upscale restaurant

I would like to make a reservation ? 4 people

They do not take reservations anywhere but on Resy. There is no number to call or other platform to use really. They release the reservations 30 days out, so if you want a reservation soon you'll have to check resy regularly to check for…

Do they accept walk-ins?

Its a popular place and maybe they do but ive heard reservations are always and highly recommended. Always try checking at Thursdays around 10-11 am , usually they have open spots during such times in Resy

Can a Wine list be provided?

Yes, a wine list is giving when you are seated.

Do they sell chicken parm instead of veal?

You can request alternatives when dining, meatballs were not on the menu but the chef made them for me.

How do you make reservations to this restaurant?

Through their website or the resy website

Do I need a reservarione?

Yes at least a month out

Is the restaurant open for dinner? I was able to get a reservation but they keep cancelling saying they are not open yet because of a fire, yet I see others posting photos on social media from a few days ago showing it is open. Very suspect

They are temporarily closed due to a fire

What is the dress code?

Trendy. See you there

I loved that the owner/chef was preparing many of the dishes right in front of guests in the center of the bar area -- such a cool experience to watch. The rosé on happy hour was excellent, and I happened to come on $1 oyster Wednesday night, which was an unexpected bonus. The oysters were small but fresh and delicious. I also had the mini ahi tacos and the mussels. The mussels were amazing, especially with the creamy sauce -- and the baguette was perfect for soaking up every last bit. The mini tacos were also a great choice, with three generous portions for happy hour. The crowd was friendly and seemed to be mostly locals, which gave it a welcoming neighborhood feel.
