Captain of yum! Honestly this is one of the best little lobster rolls I've ever had, including the toasted and buttered little roll on these Mini hand size sandwiches of lobtastic fast foodness The lobster bites were exactly what was expected and they were delicious for what they are and not greasy or over or undercooked The lobster bisque really shined. If you put it in a fancy bowl and drizzled a little Sherry you could pass this off in any fine restaurant.. Really. Service was quick and friendly and the manager could not have been more pleasant. I must comment on the professionalism and Wizardry and speed of the slightly older gentleman cooking and seemingly running the kitchen. The orders that were submitted to him and his team where rapid fire and many, and he handled everything, with the quality of food lessenned not one bit. Captain D's should definitely make sure they hang on to him, because if any restaurateur worth his salt saw him in action they'd try to steal him in a minute. I know this Lobster stuff here is temporary but I hope it becomes a mainstay along with the gentleman and his team cooking and frying up this golden array of goodies read more

They were out of romaine lettuce but offered to make salads with spring mix. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, even though they had to work on Christmas Eve. Tons of other options to eat and a plenty of non-seafood options as well. And the cheddar bay biscuits were light and fluffy and taste so much better than the box mix you find at the store. There's a sports bar section and plenty of indoor tables and booths, good for big groups as well. The ambiance here is dark and casual-classy. This place is nice for a date night or group outing if you like seafood. They also have a happy hour from 3-6 from Monday-Friday. The service here is okay. The restaurant was pretty empty on a Thursday night and our food came out relatively quickly. The food was mid and very expensive. The lobster dip was seasoned well but only had 4 pieces of lobster in it. It came with a good amount of chips though. The $19.99 lobster and shrimp Thursday special came with ~15 garlic shrimp and a lobster tail + chesapeake fries. Everything was seasoned okay, but some of the shrimp evidently weren't de-veined and the lobster meat was a bit tough. The chesapeake fries were delicious and crispy. The cheddar bay biscuits are a hit as always too! The brownie overload was my favorite thing of the night. It's a lot bigger than expected and well worth the $10.99. The warm brownies paired well with the sweet whipped cream and decadent ice cream. Would recommend ordering to share with 2 other people. I personally am not a seafood fan, but wanted to see what the hype was about because of the viral endless shrimp trend. That's no longer going on except on Mondays, but they do have shrimp entrees if you're into that.
