The food was great, tons of fries. It was expensive for the amount of food we got. No fry sauce?

Should mean they can kill it on what they offer. I had a smash burger I don't recall the name of it. It was tasty. No sides. The star here was the Spicy milkshake. I did enjoy that very much. I would come back if in the area just for one of those. They seem pretty busy and a lot of take out traffic. Good wait time was pretty long. I ordered two items and it pushed an hour mealtime. It felt like 30-40 minutes. Check them out if you haven't.

Cons: Overpriced for the portions and quality, Self-service ordering only, stingy room-temperature water. This was my first time dining at this location. I tried some of the items from the new Korean style menu. It was pretty late and the roads were still a bit snowy so we were almost the only patrons. We weren't welcomed when we entered, but we were greeted by a block of touch screens for ordering. No one offered to take our order so we made our way through the menu. The only complimentary water available was a self-serve dispenser at the counter with very small paper cups and room temperature water. I almost exclusively drink water and the paid drinks were $3.50+ so this was disappointing. The single K-Shack BBQ burger was amazing and I am looking forward to getting it again. It was a bit light on the sauce but the cashier did give me a feee cup of sauce when I asked. The crispy onions added the perfect texture. The BbQ not a strong or spicy flavor so I recommend anyone to try it. The small K-Shack fries were great. I would have liked a bit more seasoning. They were hot and mostly crisp. The cheese was glommed on, but it tasted good. The small Chocolate Pudding Blackout Shake really had a pudding-like texture and was delicious. My husband got a single hamburger. So that meal was about $40.... In THIS economy?! And it was especially upsetting as the ordering, water, and clean up is self-service. I'll come back once more to enjoy the Korean style menu but that will be it.

It is hands down the cleanest fast-food restaurant and restrooms my wife and I have ever been in. Yes, even cleaner than Chick-fil-A, and the food is better too. We make it a point to stop here whenever we're heading south or on our way back home. Every single meal we've ordered has been fresh, hot, and consistently good. On this trip, my wife had the turkey club sandwich with curly fries. I ordered one of the new Meat & 3 meals, the fried chicken sandwich, which came with small fries, a cheese stick, and a peach cobbler roll-up. Everything was excellent. We dined in, and like most times we're here a manager walked around checking on guests and making sure everything was good. We were talking about how much we enjoy stopping at this location because of the food quality and how clean the restaurant is. I mentioned I had been talking with the gentleman at the table next to us who was eating the chicken vegetable soup, he said it was very good and had plenty of chicken in it. The manager asked if we had tried the zucchini bread. We hadn't, so he left and came back with a muffin for us to try , it was very good. The new peach cobbler roll-up is excellent, and I really hope it doesn't get discontinued. They used to have a caramel cookie that was the best and unfortunately they stopped selling it. Overall, this Arby's sets the standard for fast food. We'll keep stopping here every chance we get.

While visiting Richmond, we decided to stop by Dave's Hot Chicken because the boys saw it on TikTok…read moreand had to try it. Of course, they wanted to do the challenge and try the hottest level--the "Reaper." But baby...when I found out it required me to sign a waiver?! Yeah, that was a hard NO for me. So we played it safe--one got the medium, and the other went with the hot (or super hot--whatever is right under that Reaper level). Now for me--I kept it cute and went with the mild slider and fries. I only ordered one slider because I saw how big they were on someone else's plate, and I was right--it was HUGE! And let me tell you, it was actually really good. The chicken was flavorful, crispy, and cooked just right. And listen... I am not a coleslaw person at all, but theirs? Surprisingly good! The pickle added that perfect sweet and tangy kick that pulled everything together. The restaurant itself was clean and had some really cool, colorful artwork that gave it a fun vibe. And the service? Excellent! The cashier was friendly, patient, and really knowledgeable about the different heat levels and flavors, which made ordering super easy. Now, the only downside for me was the price. It felt a little high for what you get, (the meal did not include a drink) so I did take off a star for that. But overall, the food was good, the kids really enjoyed it, and it was a fun stop during our trip. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend checking it out! Rating: 4/5

That said, while it's definitely a strong option, it's not my personal top pick for hot chicken in Richmond. I tend to look for a little more flavor depth alongside the heat. Still worth trying, especially if you're craving something reliably spicy -- it just doesn't quite take the crown for me.

The chicken itself was not dry, it was very good texture and flavor. The sauces that come with it were also all very tasty. (There was a spicy red, a mild green, and a yellow) The green and red were probably my favorite. First time having Yuca Fries, they went well with the sauce! The string beans and steamed veggies were lowkey also really good and went well with the chicken, rice, and black beans. There was also the shrimp ceviche which was definitely different than what I normally get went well, when I wrapped all the stuff in a lettuce leaf(not sure if that's what you're supposed to do). It had shrimp, some kind of sweet potato(which was good!), and Peruvian corn which was super cool. Then there was the Bistec a lo Pobre, which had Carne Asada, with fries and rice and other stuff. Also very good. Then the plantains which were all very good, definitely added a nice sweet addition to the meal. To top it all off, there was a cookie I was not sure the name of but it was good LOL. Will definitely be coming back here to try more stuff. I will say, I think knowing spanish helps a lot if you come here

I found that strange given that they serve Peruvian food, which is not your every day offering. Anyhoo, the ambiance is boring and uninspired. The menu is a mix of Peruvian (I guess?), Mexican, and Middle Eastern. Some of the unexpected menu items are ceviche, beef heart, and gizzards or chicken livers? I forget but something like that. They also have yucca and plantain. I wanted Peruvian so I went with their 1/4 chicken, green rice with black beans, and mixed vegetables. The mixed vegetables were from a can. (Yuck) The green rice was zesty and novel. The chicken was well seasoned and really juicy. Portion sizes were plentiful. You won't leave hungry.
