Tender that's supposed to be tossed not just sauced

First off I want to say that the casheir Vanessa was great, she was patient with me & told me all about the promotions going on today. She took my order right but its like everytime I come here I ask for my fingers to be tossed on my nibblers sandwich & its like they just drizzle bbq on the tender. Tossed is when u put it in the bucket then put the sauce then toss it. I've ordered this at least 3times in the last month but they never get it right. Their lucky to have a good cashier taking the order but its like the kitchen doesn't care. I used to work at zaxbys as a cook but its fine. Vanessa was great so 4 stars!

This was my best Zaxby's experience by far. The line was extremely long however, they got us through extremely fast. Everything came out fresh and crispy. This is probably one of the best fast food salads that I have seen.

2/15/21: We were in the area & stopped by for a quick bite. When we pulled up, there were no other customers there. We went in the drive thru & the cashier was not very friendly. We had to repeat our order 3x before she got it. We got our food & the chicken strips were dry and rubbery. The toast was stale. The fries were fresh & the traditional sweet and spicy wings were good. There's plenty of parking spaces and many other stores and restaurants nearby. I will come back in the future. I just won't get those nasty chicken strips.

So, I finally was able to try the cheddar cheese bites. Honestly, there's nothing special about them. They remind me of mozzarella sticks but just balls. Not sure if I'll even order them again.

First time visit a Zaxby's in the Richmond area. Overall it was pretty good. I wasn't in the mood for anything to heavy so I tried the Cobb salad with some chips. The chips were very delicious. Not heavy and perfectly salted. Everyone at my table tried them and really liked them. I dipped them in the Zaxby's sauce which was better than the ranch I received with them. The Cobb salad was great. It was a very large portion. I liked that the toppings come in small piles in the salad so if it's something you don't want, it can easily be removed. I enjoyed it all and it was very fresh. I will come again and try the wings or tenders that my coworkers speak so highly about. The inside was pretty clean and I like how they bring your order to your table, you don't have to wait up front for it. They give you a number to set on your table so they know where to deliver the meal.

This is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. This was my first time at this new location. The line was so long that there was a police officer directing traffic in the parking lot. We waited about 20 minutes. Not bad considering it's new to the area. The teriyaki wings I ordered were so good. They tasted freshly made. I also had a Zaxby's Cobb zalad. When we got to window the lady was friendly. My only disappointment was they don't make milkshakes.

Update: after a number of tries we have finally gotten everything straight! The app works, they take AMEX, and folks at the restaurant are still super nice and now serve me at the drive-thru. Thanks Gus! Who does not love Zaxby's? Well - it was an interesting experience today at the new restaurant! I have an affinity for drive thrus ESPECIALLY if the restaurant has an online ordering system. I've only been to a Zaxby's once and remember it was good so was looking forward to it. I tried in vain to order with the app - it kept telling me that my credit card was declined, so I said what the heck let's go order at the drive-thru like it's the 80s again. I expected to wait and was not disappointed. I tried to order on the website while waiting in the drive-thru and despite both the app and the website recognizing my American Express card, it said the card was declined. I drive a pretty small car. When I got to the speaker, which was placed next to a busy turnpike, it was about 3 feet higher than the top of my car. I turned off my car and had to yell my order because they could not hear me over the background noise I was hearing through her mic. When I got to the window, I handed the sweet girl the offending American Express card. She was gone for a moment and then came back and said that they don't take American Express. Luckily, I happened to have a bag of change with the required $10.43. I don't often use cash, but I frequently have extra change. I'll have to pick up a bullhorn for the next t

Upon entering, you will see 2 kiosk to order your food with plenty of pictures, so we did just that. I think you can also order at the counter, a few steps ahead. There were many options to choose from like salads, wraps, and bowls. We chose the Lemon Crush Bowl and Chicken Tinga Bowl. Both were equally delicious and satisfying. First, you choose your base. It comes with warm grains, but if you want extra grains or cauliflower rice, there is an up charge. Then, you get to play with the ingredients it comes with by adding or taking away some. The same with the dressing. They have so many to pick from and because I was curious, I ordered the ENZO Eureka Lemon Crush Olive Oil on the side. It is a strong lemon and olive oil taste, but good in moderation. The Greek goddess dressing was just fine, but I had try another one and no complaints. Also, you have the option of getting half a slice of bread with your bowl. Great way to push some of the last of it onto your fork. Overall, this was a healthy choice. It is on average $10-$13 per dish, but you know you're eating right. The "Taco Bell next door" temptation fizzled fast and I left feeling so grown up. Go check them out.

There were only a couple of tables available, but they were clearly well staffed. We were greeted immediately at the door, and it was obvious there were multiple managers on the floor making sure everything was running smoothly. The ambiance struck the perfect balance--upscale yet approachable. It felt polished without being stuffy or overly formal. The lighting was just right, creating a comfortable atmosphere for dinner, and they offered a nice selection of beverages and cocktails. The food absolutely delivered. My friend ordered the Cobb salad with fried chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked and lightly breaded--not overly heavy at all. His only suggestion would be swapping the mustard-based dressing for something brighter, like a lemon or citrus vinaigrette, since it competed a bit with the blue cheese crumbles. I ordered the Mediterranean Bowl with shrimp, and it was fantastic. A small detail that made a surprisingly big impression: the shrimp tails had already been removed! It's such a simple thing, but not having to stop and pick tails off while eating made the meal that much more enjoyable. The dish was perfectly balanced and delicious exactly as served--I wouldn't change a thing. My martini was also expertly made. No notes there either. The restaurant attracted a friendly, well-dressed crowd, adding to the overall experience without feeling pretentious. It's also easy to find, located on the corner of the shopping center with Trader Joe's and Planet Fitness. Granite Grill exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely be back. Great food, attentive service, an inviting atmosphere, and excellent attention to detail. Highly recommended.

We were surprised by the size of the restaurant when we walked in. It seems smaller from the outside; not that it was huge, just deceiving. It reminded me of a homey Jason's Deli (IYKYK). The woman at the counter was helpful and kind. We had a few questions about some items on the menu, and she asked the kitchen staff anything that she didn't know offhand. We decided on the fried cauliflower for an appetizer; it was monstrously huge, and much more flavorful than I expected. The spices and textures on the plate added a lot to the dish's overall essence. I ordered the Rachel for an entree, and my partner ordered the Sharona. I subbed the chips for a side salad. The salad was tangy or tart, almost bitter. I didn't mind; I thought it was quite good. It is a lot of acidity if you are not expecting it. The Rachel was fantastic, except that the coleslaw had some onion bits mixed in. We are not onion fans in this household. Ha The Sharona would have been a better choice, as I much prefer pickles to oniony coleslaw. My partner said she really liked hers. We had half a sandwich each for leftovers the next day, and shared the leftover chips, since I finished off my salad the night before. The sandwiches heated up exquisitely in the oven at 325°F for 15 minutes. I felt that Susie's is a definite hidden gem, and I can recommend it to anyone who likes a well-made sandwich. I will be back to sample more of the menu and report back my findings at a future date.
