Had a lunch so fantastic we forgot to take pictures! Shane and I met a friend who lives in the area and she suggested Bell Greek, which we were very excited to take advantage of the $7 gyro special. This little hidden gem is SO good. We went for a late lunch and were so happy we did! The staff was super friendly and our food came out really quickly. Everything tasted fresh and the portions are really large. They even have a little case in the front in case you want some grab & go items. I came here with some colleagues for lunch after we worked an event nearby. We were shocked to see it so busy on a weekday but it turns out a senior citizen home was having their outing there. I don't think they expected such a rush either because the service was on the slow side. The food was worth the wait though, it was delicious & filling! I got the Santorini platter with lamb, everything worked great mixed together! The tzatziki was homemade & phenomenal. I'm not sure if you are supposed to pay at the counter because our waitress didn't really come back to ask about the check we had to wave her down & they didn't offer the cash discount & just gave us all the credit card price with the option for the discount. I came in for lunch just before noon during the week. I sat at a table inside. There was one person working in the front. She was answering the phones as well as being the server. I was helped nice and quick and the food came out fast. I had the gyro platter which had fries and a soda. Everything was really good. I ordered delivery. The gyro platter and gyro with fries. The green beans are good. The gyro meat has a strange texture. Crisping it on a grill/griddle could help. Also they packaged the gyro with the fries but the gyro was leaky which made all the fries wet/soggy so they were a wash and couldn't be eaten. Belle, Greek is a cozy little restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. Our experience here is as follows. Food: the pasta dishes are good and the marinara sauce is awesome. Anything with meatballs in it is fantastic. Their baked meatball appetizer is a definite must try. Chicken skewers were not great, and interestingly the gyro meat tastes a little different than any other place I've had it. It's not bad, it's just different, and it may or may not be to your liking. They offer a good variety of deserts. Be sure to step inside to look at all the options available if you are dining outside Service: Good overall. Nothing outstanding, and nothing poor either. Drinks were refilled without any issue or having to ask. Ambiance: inside the restaurant has about 8 to 10 tables. It's small. There is a vine lattice that goes across the ceiling, which creates a warm feel and makes the indoor seating a bit more comfortable. The outside patio has a half a dozen tables and it is covered in the winter. If you were looking for decent Greek food at a reasonable price, I would recommend this restaurant to you. read more

Love this place, it always feels cozy and family-owned with attention to each diner from the servers and the owner. Gyro bowl was surprisingly light on the gyro and heavy on the salad part. Service was slow, but folks were friendly. Not enough wrong to not return, but not enough right to want to go back. Before the era of quarantine, Bellgreek used to be a regular Tuesday night stop for our family for the gyro specials. It was perfect because they were open late, and we could go and grab a casual, delicious family dinner after our child's dance classes. Fast forward many months (and no dining out) later, and Bellgreek was the first restaurant that my husband thought of to celebrate our anniversary. We honeymooned, in part, in Greece, and we thought it would be a nice throw-back to get Greek takeout, which we. Thought to a park to eat. It was perfect: the food, as always, was delicious, safely prepared and presented to us for pick-up, and the staff was as friendly and helpful as always. I wasn't crazy about the sauce and cheese on the rice (since I'm allergic to dairy and asked them not to put any dairy items on my meal -- the reason for only 4-stars), but they were willing to make a substitution of hummus for their tzatziki sauce. Cons: - Greek Gyro Bowl was disappointing to me. The rice was cheap without much flavor, and the gyro meat hadn't been roasted enough and was very limp. Similarly the chopped lettuce and tomatoes were cheap. I wouldn't order any of their gyros again. - Chicken Souvlaki was also just OK. A little dry. - The location of the restaurant is next to a quaint little wooded area.... and an empty lot. Seriously the next three stores in the building strip are vacant and Bell Greek is the only one open.
