Why am I just finding out about this place?! Came in and got the pesto Caesar salad and it is so good, my daughter got The Southern which she said is really delicious. What sealed the deal for me is a customer service... impeccable. We will definitely be back!

Freshhhhhh food fast! I ate off of my bowl for lunch, dinner and lunch the following day! They do not skimp on filling you up with deliciousness. I always try to add a little spice to my bowls so if it's not jalapeños, I'm adding one of their house made dressings to kick it up a notch. Be sure to download the app to earn points and rewards!

Second visit and my Tango Bowl was just as tasty as the first time around. I opted for the beef this time and it is delicious. Parking was super quick and I loved how personable the staff were. We were greeted and spoken to when we left. Love this location !

Tried out the new Roots location on Southside. Absolutely delicious!! This is going to be our new takeout spot. They give you a ton of food and it's all perfectly dressed too. I love that they offer such a variety of flavors and proteins. They have something for everyone!

Best location in Richmond. Service was quick and food was good as always. I usually customize a pre-made bowl. They have lots of options but there can only be one winner and I found it! The Mayweather

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and was lucky enough to be picked for a Yelp event. They did not disappoint! The portion of food was great, the flavor was on point and the added mix ins added a surprise in every bite. Lots of seating and very clean. The servers were super nice and helpful! The only thing I would change is the volume of the music was a tad loud for a nice lunch chat with friends. I will totally be coming here again and recommend it as a great lunch spot!

There are plenty of seating, indoor and outside. Service was nice and attentive, and the food came out quickly. Their menu had a lot of different offerings from burgers, to pizza, to entrees. FOOD: ~Sticky Ribs (4.5/5): actually fall off the bone tender! The sauce was tasty. Only thing was the ends were a little too burnt, but it wasn't inedible - gave that nice char taste. ~Italian Grinder (5/5): Typical italian sandwich, but the bread was so good. The roasted peppers added a nice kick, and the sauce was yummy. ~Fries (5/5): love battered fries! And they were seasoned really well ~Catfish and grits (4/5): the grits were wonderful consistency. Catfish was fried really well and was extremely tender. The sauce was so flavorful, but it was very heavy. At first I was worried about the huge chunks of celery, but thankfully, it didn't have that strong celery flavor and added a nice crunch. A really solid meal, especially for a golf course restaurant!

If I could I would have given it 4 1/2 stars, because it was good but not great but definitely well enough not to drop it to a 4. Let's start with the location: very nice and everything seems real clean and cared for. Even the men's room was decent at 6:00 pm at night. Now our server: Sidney was very attentive to us. She took very good care of us during our stay. Now the meal: Again it was good. The wifey had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. She tells me the sauce had a nice flavor but the chicken really had no flavor. Certainly not a Blackened flavor you would expect. The chicken itself was good and tender. As for me I had Shrimp and Grits. It also was good. It had onions and peppers in it and again the flavor of the onions and peppers just want there. Who knows. We also had the Brick Oven Brie. There was a really nice amount of Brie. So much that the toasted bread ran out way before the Brie. So as I said this was a good place and meal despite my small hits in this review. I firmly recommend this place because I do expect you to have a nice meal. Ps. To the owners: your link to your website doesn't work via Yelp. To potential customers: you will have to go your search engine and find the Charred site.

The first night (8/6/26) I arrived at my order pickup time and parked in the curbside parking spot. I called the number on the curbside placard as advised but they didn't answer. I called 5 times and they never answered. Ultimately, I had to go inside and get my food. I was annoyed because that defeats the purpose of ordering curbside. Why offer the service if you can't accommodate it? Additionally when I went inside my order wasn't ready at the promised time. No biggie, Im understanding sometimes so I wait a few minutes. I finally get my food and drink. Im immediately confused because my $6 lemonade was in a plastic to go cup and only filled halfway. I expressed my concern about it and the response was oh it's a pre measured amount. Seriously? For $6 I only get two sips of drink? Again, annoyed, but I remain calm. I then proceed to pay with my phone (tap to pay). Im told "oh we don't have tap to pay, you have to use a physical card." Huh? So why offer curbside pickup if you don't have devices for tap pay? It was a weird response but I didn't even question any further because I was hungry and annoyed so I went on my way. Thank goodness I had a physical card that day. I get home and had to reheat my food because it wasn't even hot. The portions were so small. I swear the pulled pork on my nachos probably weighed 1/2 an ounce. They gave more shredded cheese and queso than pulled pork and remnants of pico de gallo. The $6 side of rice was also a small portion and I definitely expected more for the price. However, despite the night's shenanigans the food was actually good. Since I have this unusual obsession with trying the same meals multiple days consecutively if I like it, I decided to reorder the same meal again the following day (8/7/26). I followed the same process and everything, curbside pickup, but no drink this time. They played once with the drink, not again. I arrived at my pickup time. Had to go inside again unfortunately. This time when I arrived I was told they never received my order because of the storms and internet connection going out with their server so my order was never made and needed to be reordered and prepared. I wasn't upset because storms and things happen you know. However, I waited 40 minutes for nachos to be prepared. As I was patiently waiting, many customers came inside were seated and even started receiving their food orders while I was waiting so I was starting to get annoyed. Then my food finally arrives and Im told I can tap to pay. Ohhh so yall miraculously got tap to pay in the last 24 hours because I tried yesterday and was told yall didn't have it. When I look at the receipt it says the exact comments I placed on my online order. If yall never received my order at all, how would you have known the comments I put on my order specifically stating I wanted all chips and condiments separate to prevent it from getting soggy? Idk, very weird. The food again was good BUT the experience was terrible and the amount of food for the price isn't worth it. I won't be returning to this location anymore. Because of how poor the service, process and portions were both days (8/6/26 & 8/7/26) I deducted 4 stars. I wanted so badly to hate the food because of my experience but it was good so I gave one star. The place has potential but I'm not frequenting again to hope they figure it out next time.

The grilled chicken was juicy, the toppings were fresh, and the pickled onions added the perfect tangy bite. Every bite was delicious. The staff were polite, but we had to ask several times to get items we were missing or things we wanted extras of. They checked in on us a fair number of times, but they still forgot to return to give us what we had asked for. By the time we were ready to leave, we still haven't gotten our dressings or our condiments. I also had asked for my burger to be well done, but I got a burger with quite a bit of pink in it. I didn't want to ask for it to be placed back on the grill because I didn't really want to wait longer for my food. Although I wanted my burger to be well done and I didn't get it that way, it was still pretty good. The fries though, I think was the best part of it. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy! I also ordered a coke. Just a heads up, they don't do free refills on the sodas, so each cup is $4. My party also ordered salmon l'orange and a romano salad with salmon. My friends really enjoyed their main dishes, but we did ask for extra dressing. The restaurant is decorated in a boho-style vibe, and it was cute. We found the lighting on the side dining area to be a little bit too dim once the sun went down, but I do think it would've been perfect for a date night vibe. Overall, we had an okay experience.
