This restaurant has really gone downhill over the last ten years... The menu is stuck in a space warp that never changes; the place needs a little color and spiffed up a tad. Our first contact was Ashley at 13:53 hours on 13 MAR 25; she was pleasant and helpful. So Kudos to that young lady! We ordered our meals at this time; Robin had a handmade sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese. (More later on this meal) with sides or "chips" (all seven of them) and I ordered a bowl of "Chilli", and a Diet Coke, for which I paid for that evening... As I stated we've been coming here for about ten years- maybe visiting two rcthree times a year at first. Around 2019, the food menu had not changed; it was never crowded, and the decor was wearing down. We stopped for about a year or two, and since then maybe once a year. On this last visit, we were the only customers there at first, and maybe 4 or 5 more came in that hour we were there. Our food arrived; my wife's sandwich was ok, her chips were stale, and the macaroni was pretty bland. My chili was very thin with a grease pool on top. I added crackers and hot sauce to improve the taste- then more... I ate maybe half and left the rest. Robin took the rest of her sandwich home, and we pitched the macaroni. We gave the chips to the birds outside. I'm pretty sure this will be our last visit here. They need to do something NEW with the menu! Try flatbread specialty pizzas or maybe a new chili recipe. Something! I recently read (after our visit) that there have been major food illness issues at Jasons Deli's in TX and OK in 2024 and 2025. The jury's out on this deli case. The evidence: The restaurant has a strange layout. No signs indicated where to order. Decent pricing. Adequate portions and food. They give you a number and bring your food to the table. The witnesses: My friend and myself. The testimony: Once we found our way to the counter, a chipper young lady cheerfully took our order. We got the "pick two", 1/2 a sandwich each with fruit and chips. Slid into a booth, awaited our food. The baby wipes I carry in my purse came in handy to clean the table. Our food came out fairly quickly, by a nice lady, but our order was missing the fruit. I had to go back up and get it. The ham and cheese croissant was tasty and satisfying. The fruit was fresh and came with a dipping sauce. The turkey wrap, not so great. The complaint: While eating a "busboy" wheeled a huge black cart around the restaurant, collecting plates and trash. No receptacles are found at the exits like most restaurants. So customers have to look at stacks of dirty plates and garbage being pushed around in a unsightly monstrosity as they are eating their meal. Once the busboy parked the cart right in front of the salad bar. Very unappetizing. I object! The restrooms needed attention as well. The plea: They may want to cut a deal. Guilty on the charge of untidiness, but as far as price gouging and poor service, they are innocent. The verdict: Falls short in their execution of a business model. I find that they are striving to rival Panera, but miss the mark. Due to the helpful staff, this place is sentenced to another chance. Should they clean up their act this matter may be moot. In the meantime, they may appeal to a further review. Case is still being deliberated. read more

Very good place to eat. I use to eat here all the time until I moved. I visited the location recently and it is still good. The croissant club sandwich is my favorite and the salad bar is always on point. Everything was full, clean, no mix or spillage of food items on the salad bar. This place is close to a well known hospital. I like that it's here, because there is not a lot of options (Food we were craving/wanting.) near the hospital to eat while we were visiting someone that was admitted to the hospital. The employees are really nice, and our delicious food was brought to our table within 10 minutes of ordering it. I like that they have a few gluten-free options. I have two kids with Celiac, and they love that there are items on the menu for them to order. Not a lot, but we are thankful that the gluten-free items they do offer are ones they love. I will say that this is only on customer service today. My order was correct and great, as per usual. I decided for the first time to place a curbside order. The woman who brought my order was clearly perturbed she had to bring out my order. Her name started with "Sha" but the rest of her name escapes me at this time. I'm unable to exit my vehicle unassisted due to a medical issue. I always make sure to leave gratuity and am very nice to the person bringing my order to my vehicle and I always park in the closest spot possible and make sure it's not raining. She came to the window with a disgusted look on her face. She did not say hello, even after I said, "hello." She only said in a very rude tone, "you need to call when you get here, you're lucky I saw your car. " I was taken back by her statement. I said, "I'm sorry but my app said to click when I arrived, just as the sign right there says to do as well...and I just pulled in." She raised her voice and said, "we prefer you call!" Then she stormed off. I'm not sure if she was having a hard day or just unhappy in her duties but I felt this was uncalled for. I general love this place and sometimes when I order my food it could be hit or miss with them getting it right, I usually suck it up to me ordering it over the phone so it's no big deal. Anytime there was an issue they made it right. Today however I ordered my usual Hot pastrami swiss cheese on an onion roll with mayonnaise and spicy mustard my significant other went to pick it up. Love this place but actually just now tried a menu item vs the salad bar. Not only is the staff super friendly, but knowledgeable and helpful. Got a veggie side soup and it was very good without being too salty. Fruit that was a side was fresh and even got a little sweet dipping sauce with it. I love all of their iced tea selections although I opted for a treat of diet dr. Pepper. The place is kept very clean and the employees look like they Luke their jobs. The only downside, and something I have CONSISTENTLY noticed all of of their locations is that when you ask for extra butter they give it to you on the side, which is fine, however it's always BRICK COLD! We are either paying the highest local sales tax in the nation or Jason's is overcharging tax at this location by a good margin. Web says local tax rate here is 5.3%. Upon asking the staff--nobody seems to know anything or have any control. Just got taken for a couple bucks and change. How much is Jason's taking in across a day's business with this error? Okay, so this is a mixed review. I was skeptical of Jason's partly because they were a chain and had that 'corporate' feel. I love the salad bar and, of course, the soft-serve ice cream station, but on a recent visit, I ordered this grilled salmon healthy meal and really wish I hadn't. The quinoa salad that set the dish foundation was perfectly flavored and felt healthy but the salmon was just too fishy, even for salmon. I don't know why I ordered something as sensitive as salmon at a mass-market place like this. I really wanted it to be good but it was fishy and dry so definitely a non-repeat item. I have since noticed that the quinoa salad is in the salad bar so have gone back to the bar for my routine visits. I'll definitely keep coming back and will probably revise my review as soon as that salmon taste in my mouth goes away. read more

Earlier today I had lunch at this Jasons Deli location. It was my first time dining at this upscale version of Subway and I had a strong craving for a sandwich that contained 100% real meat. Without further delay, here is my review: The Good: Dine in Service- The employee taking my order was very friendly and answered all of my questions Taste- I ordered the Ruben sandwich and had a pretty good taste. The Bad: Prices- My sandwich along with a bag of chips cost $9.40. That is way too expensive. Portion Size- The portion size does not justify the price of the meal. It was a decent portion size, but you could get a bigger sandwich/sub from a place like Str8 Out of Philly or Mojo's for a cheaper price. Takeout Service- Had takeout from this location a number of times and the guy who is usually behind the counter is pretty much incompetent, which is saying alot for someone working the register at a sandwich shop. He is often aloof, playing on his cell phone or on the computer while customers wait for him to hand them food they paid for. There was one experience where I witnessed a customer have to interrupt the employee while he was playing on his phone so she could receive her food. Overall- While the dine in employees of Jasons Deli showed great customer service and have good tasting food, the prices tend to be on the expensive size and I dont think that the portion sizes justify the need for high prices. In other words, good food, but I'll opt to go somewhere that I feel gives me my monies worth. I will also avoid all future take out experiences from this restaurant. TWO STARS. read more
