Newton Richmond from NY and followed Holly Philly on Instagram after my family went to their reopening and spoke very highly. They did a thanksgiving giveaway which I entered and won a free Philly! Came in to claim it with my husband in a Monday and there was plenty of street parking. Lots of seating in the place and was easily able to redeem my free sandwich and order some more stuff. I got the loaded Philly and my husband got the hitch Philly. We also got cheese fries, a Philly eggroll, and two flavored lemonades. The sandwiches were delicious. Hot and flavorful. Fries were also very good and I loved the cheese sauce. I wasn't a big fan of the egg roll but my husband liked it. I loved the mango lemonade. Very mango flavored and delicious! I do think it's a bit pricey but definitively worth going back!

I attended the grand reopening and ordered the 5-piece combo. The staff was friendly and had great energy. The inside is clean, bright, and fun. My order was completed and ready in less than ten minutes. I believe they cook to order. The mambo sauce smelled so good as soon as I opened the bag. The fries were good. They are a type of fries I like. The mambo wings were good. The amount of sauce was generous hope that never changes. They were oversees/sauced/not toss coated and I applesauce that. The mambo sauce is a thicker one and has a slight tang of BBQ and the sweet and sour tase. It's a good profile. I would definitely order them again.

Well RVA we now have a lil taste of Philly right here in Virginia. It's a nice addition to Main Street with vibrant colors and a mascot in still trying to figure out but he had moves today dance and high-five'n the crowd! I went today for the grand opening and I already have plans of going back again to try more on the menu! Today they offered free food from 6-9 and the line wrapped around the block with the first 30 people getting a specialty drink! I went with my mom and it was a set menu and we were able to try the chicken Philly combo and chicken combo ( variety of flavors but we got the Teriyaki) Food was hot and delicious please see pictures attached and do yourself a favor and show some love!

Got the gyro combo this time with onion rings. I got a baja blast as my drink from the drink fridge that came with the combo. I ordered no cheese for it, but it only came with with meat and the bread i think i was supposed to click on other stuff to add it on . Their onion rings are big and crispy! I love this place late night! The tables were also clean and inside was pretty quiet!

This was my first time eating here & i truly enjoyed it. The cashier was kind & she had her young son helping out. There was a solo chef, but he killed it! Tasty & filling food w / crispy fries. The ambiance was meh. Not lively, but there was a tv showing some talk show.

I had the sweet potato cornbread, crispy salmon, with a side of collards. My wife had the oysters (with a really tasty hot sauce) and the crab cake (no filler). Everything was savory and light, cooked to perfection. We were both stuffed as we walked away from this gem!

The server, Briana, was one of the best I've had in a very long time. Personable, great smile, friendly, and knew her stuff. We ordered the brussel sprouts- they were great with a nice heat from the sauce. We had the crispy skin salmon, which came with a nice fresh salad, The skin was amazingly crispy and the flesh was flavorful. I asked Briana to surprise me with something good and boy did she deliver. It was their porkchop served over some super tasty mashed potatoes. Note that this is not how they are usually served, it was Briana's favorite way to eat this dish so she made the decision for me. The porkchop was very very good. Nice grill marks, onions, and a very nice cream-based sauce. This was so so good. They are doing great food at this new location and I will be back again.

Bartender also helped me select a glass of wine to go with my dinner. Everything was phenomenal. I highly suggest the octopus. I also suggest a sandwich. Their gluten-free bun was amazing. The broccolini that I had was good. I just personally prefer mine to be more well done than it was and the lemon aïoli that goes with the fries..... good night. The ambience was disappointing, and our table was right next to the kitchen, which made the dining experience less enjoyable. By the time we left, our clothes smelled strongly of food. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. Considering the price, we expected something more memorable or innovative. The flavors were fairly standard and nothing stood out--they were comparable to what you'd find at any decent mid-range Italian restaurant, without the premium quality or creativity to justify the cost. Overall, it wasn't a terrible meal, but it definitely wasn't worth the price, and we left feeling underwhelmed. I don't think I'd return.

The inside of the store was old school setup with booths and a huge full service bar. 15 minutes within opening, the restaurant was full in capacity. The menu had lots of exciting brunch dishes, appetizers, salads, soups and deli section as well. There were plenty of cocktails, beer and wines choices available too. Prices were decent. I picked the Jewish Sailor that was a combo of toast with pastrami and beef sausage with red onion and mustard. When the dish came, it looked so scrumptious. Loved the flavor of the pastrami, the crunchy sausages, crispy toast bread, coleslaw all of it. I also got to try the pierogis that were delicious as well. The service was good overall. Our waitress was attentive, while managing several tables at the same time. The dishes came out quickly despite being busy. Overall the experience lived up to the expectations.
