Had a pretty terrible all around experience. Got put at a table that was literally in front of the door so every time someone left or came in it was freezing. My sons ordered regular cheeseburgers with nothing on top. The food took a really long time and when it finally arrived they had brought them small kids sliders. I explained politely that it was incorrect and the runner just said sorry. He clearly didn't tell the waitress. When she finally came over and I told her what happened she rudely said it was probably because we had kids menus on the table. We didn't ask for the kids menus. She didn't offer to make anything right, she just avoided us. My burger was so overcooked and flavorless I didn't eat more than a third of it. Really just blown away that the waitress' response to the mixup was to blame us.

Great prices and service. Very quick and friendly staff. Drinks and food were also very good. Clean space as well.

I went back for the first time since they reopened, and it was just as good as it was before! I don't think I have experienced a friendlier server in my life as I did here. She was so attentive and so nice! The interior still has the same classic diner feel And most of the menu is still the same. I got the B3 sliders and they are so good! They have been gone for a while, but I still wish they had the pimento cheese, tater tots! Those were an instant classic and I wish they would bring them back.

Decided to go different and not get a typical burger. I got the Belgian which had goat cheese some kind of jam and Cartelized onions. It was an OMG first bite and had to have my wife try it. Also the cheese curds with the sauce. Ton of options. Coming back to try the shakes and alcohol special drinks.

The retro diner vibe with the Las Vegas style sign out front is truly impossible to miss - so after driving by this place a million times, I figured it was about time I checked it out :) and lemme tell you it was exactly as advertised! Perfect stop after a long day at work - and I just needed to satisfy a craving. The burger wasn't my favorite burger I've had in Richmond, but was still pretty solid - the onion strings were a good finishing touch! Fries were good, but got cold quick - but speaking of cold, that coffee shake was exactly what I needed. So many flavors to choose from too which I appreciated a ton! Had a really nice server who helped me order takeout too - I walked in not too far before they were scheduled to close, but was helped out no problem. As someone who worked in food service for years, I appreciated their willingness to act like I was any other customer who had walked in hours before - and wasn't simply the one standing between them and going home.

Burgers and fries, and other goodness on the menu. You can smell the burgers cooking on the grill from outside. The burger was a homemade style burger, fries were a seasoned style fry...and it was excellent. Burger was cooked to perfection, fries were crispy. And it was served with other a smile. I totally dig the burger stand decor, they had sports on their TVs, and also Pabst on tap. ***Flight Attendant approved***

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and got the sliders($10) and fried pickles($7). Sliders were cooked to a medium and were a nice snack size meal. The grilled onions were sweet and savory. The burger was moist but lacked seasoning. Luckily they put there house sauce on the burger. The fried pickles were hard and fried pretty well. The dill ranch paired very well with the fried pickles. A very chill diner looking burger joint. Staff were friendly. Overall a good experience here and I would come back again to try other burgers! Food: 7.2 Staff/service: 7.0 Value: 7.2 Overall: 7.1/10

We are in the process of moving to this neighborhood and I have driven by Boulevard many times and it always seems very lively. So after a fun date night in Scott Addition we decided to end it with burgers and fries here. Fortunately, because it's right before the holidays it wasn't as busy as it usually is from when I've driven by and both service and food were excellent. Can't wait to show this burger joint to our families when they visit. Also they have great 2000s punk rock music!

So glad this place came up in a search for best burger in Richmond because it was a dang good burger place! First off all the food was delicious! My hubs and I tried a few different dishes and all were 5 star quality! We enjoyed the following: Cheeseburger-when you can do a classic right, that is always good! Inside out Juicy Lucy-husband got it as a double and loved his burger. Tots, fries and crispy onions strings-all delicious and husband loved the boulevard sauce and I loved their homemade ranch. Could drink that stuff up! Chili-I'm very picky about chili and this one was good. I see why it's award winning! Great flavor! Our server was great and even let my husband know when checking out their brews that they had a new ipa on tap and he ended up trying it and loving it. Our server was kind and attentive and fun! Plenty of outdoor seating but also indoor seating as well. It looks like an old school diner inside with seats at the counter and old fashioned stools. Didn't try one of their boozy milkshakes but want to go back and try one or even just a regular milkshake. The half and half tea I had was good and tea at some places can be hit or miss and this was a hit. Will hit this place up when in Richmond for sure!

This place is a great little burger joint with good food and a light atmosphere. My family loves their burgers and shakes and their wait staff couldn't be more friendly.

This place is a Richmond staple and deservedly so. Good burgers and milkshakes and they're close to the stadium so a pre squirrels meal is great if you stop in with these guys.

6.27.23 Not quite Vegas, but the cute signage made me feel like I was there. We dropped in on our way to SC. The outside and interior gave a diner vibe except that they serve alcohol too. Menu items are a la carte so a bit pricier than other burger joints. Typically you can get a drink and fries at a combo elsewhere. I ordered the Kelly's Classic, but asked to sub the American cheese with pepperjack and asked if the onions could be grilled. I also ordered small fries on the side. My hubby ordered the Inside-Out Lucy Juicy. We asked that our burger be cooked medium rare. Our burgers were good, but did not come out medium rare. Fortunately we were asked if we wanted any sauces so I asked for the bbq, Carolina, honey mustard and my hubby asked for the Siracha Ranch. This made the burgers pop and probably made it more moist. Loved all the sauces. Fries were crispy. Definitely one of my favorite burgers that I've had recently.

My husband and i LOVED this burger joint! It has an old diner feel but serves boozy milkshakes and alcohol. They have a great happy hour with discounted drinks and food, and everything was amazing! It's right by a movie theatre so we chose to have a dinner/movie date, and this was the perfect place. The food came out quickly and there was no wait on a Monday afternoon, but heard this place can get pretty busy on the weekend. The reward system is the same for here and PBR, so although it was our first time here we actually got money off our receipt! We are already trying to find an excuse to come back, highly recommend!

Been here a couple times and the burgers are the best in town. I got the sliders and they are just enough. We will be back.

Overrated. The burger was bland and sloppy. I don't like my burgers falling apart when bite into my hamburger.

We ended up sitting at the bar for a couple beers and dinner. The outside vibe had fire pits and Adirondack chairs with some tables. From the minute, we entered to the moment we laughed. We were thoughtfully waited on by all the staff. Falcon smash is always my go to beer when I go there and this grilled chicken Parmesan sandwich was amazing. Definitely worth a stop when you're Midlothian Virginia.

I've followed this brewery on social media for a few months and have noticed their pictures consistently feature pours with an inordinate amount (2-3") of head on them. As someone who absolutely hates foam, I asked up front for no head. The bartender winced and explained they had to pour that way or they'd get in trouble because the ownership "wants the aroma expressed." I was taken aback...not only by the total lack of regard for the customer but for levying that threat against an employee. I was waiting to meet someone somewhere else for dinner, and put aside my disdain and capitulated as I didn't want anyone getting in trouble over a beer. So, I figured I'd make the most of things out on the patio. Alas, you can't take glass out in the patio, only plastic cups. What?!? If this were a college bar on a Friday night, sure - pour into plastic. But happy hour in Midlothian? The bartender did say they could pour no foam for a plastic cup though, which I thought was funny - they're so precious about their beer the foam is mandatory, but yeah, just dump it in plastic for the patio. All in all, a negative experience and one I won't repeat. My advice is to give the customer what they want, don't threaten employees, and eat the cost of a few broken glasses. To be clear: I get the notion of aromas and such, but this isn't Russian River or Alchemist, or even The Veil (none of which have foam mandates). I could even understand if they were busy (I was the only one ordering), but I wouldn't have asked for a longer pour under those circumstances. The beers are average regionals and customer service and good treatment of employees are non-negotiables. I hope ownership sees this and chills out; the person who pays for the beer dictates the pour, not you.
