I just had the worst experience at this Chicken Fiesta, and it was my very first time trying the restaurant. I attempted to call in a pickup order and was repeatedly placed on hold or hung up on--three times in total. The staff refused to take my order over the phone because I couldn't describe their exact location, even though I was literally four minutes away and using GPS to get there. I decided to drive over anyway and ask to speak with a manager, but no manager ever came out. Instead, three employees surrounded me and ganged up with excuses about not wanting to "waste food" or being "confused" about where customers are headed. I made it clear I was calling the number listed online for the location I was driving to, but they still refused to take accountability. The inside of the restaurant was clean, and I did end up getting my food. However, after the back and forth, I honestly didn't even feel comfortable eating it. The food was just okay--nothing special and definitely not worth the hassle or the way I was treated. I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to review Chicken Fiesta. I go here easily once a month and it's the best rotisserie chicken in North Chesterfield. The flavor and the skin color are delicious. I've painstakingly tried to make my own marinated "Latin inspired" chicken and I promise you it's harder than it looks. Chicken Fiesta does their best and I know those birds get awfully close to the coals so it often looks "burnt" but in my humble opinion it's just a nice charred look. That's my $0.02 cents and I can see how sometimes it's charred a lot more than other times. They are pretty consistent with their super dark charred look so keep this in mind. The sides are quite horrible but the beans are pretty good. If chicken isn't your thing a sleeper is their carne asada tacos. When I need my fix, three of these with some salsa verde will get you by. In conclusion I'm happy there is a Chicken Fiesta super close to my house. The start of the show is the delicious chicken. 90% of the time I order an entire chicken and it never survives the day. read more

I have been going to Chicken Fiesta for years with zero complaints. Service is generally good and food is great. Until my last visit. I got a steak quesadilla to go. Get home to eat. I grab a quarter of it, wife does the same. We start chewing on leather like steak and removed the gristle mess from our mouths. We return the chewed, inedible meat back to the container and return to the store. I was asked if I wanted another steak quesadilla, my reply was "no". My thinking was I didn't want the same gristle meat as before so I asked for chicken quesadilla. The young lady behind the counter says, we can only give you a half quesadilla because you have eaten half. I opened the box again and show her the chewed gristle that came from the half that we attempted to eat. She explains that it is their policy that they can only replace the uneaten half. I told her that this made no sense, the chewed meat is right there. They did not budge on their "policy". So I asked for a refund; and waiting on a credit now. I write the corporate office and explain this situation and they say that this is NOT their policy. The entire quesadilla should have been replaced. That said, they just apologized, said that would address the issue and thanked me for making them aware. Sorry Chicken Fiesta, you missed the mark on this one. You don't just apologize to a paying customer and expect them to return when you are blatantly wrong. I may visit again in the distant future. Remains to be seen. read more

I love having a location closer to me! This was our first time dining in at this location (normally we do drive thru or take out). Normally when I go to CF it's for one of their salads which are super filling. I tried something new this time and ate the whole meal in one sitting (I was starving). I do wish there was less cheese on my burrito. My boyfriend did mention that his chicken bland compared to past visits. Overall I do enjoy this establishment as an alternative to burger/fries fast food and plan on dining there again. Stopped in on a Friday just before noon. I wasn't even sure what to expect. Had heard that I just had to try them out. When I arrived a was shocking surprised that there was a drive thru. So since COVID I decided to use it. There were a few people in front of me and the line went nice and fast. I did look at their menu online prior to going so I knew what I wanted. I think I may have been lost if I didn't look prior. My ride is about 10-15 away and the food was still nice and hot when I got home. The tacos were awesome. The tacos have too much juice or grease in them and they fall apart. My husband ordered steak and I guess they made my taco and let it sit. The chicken was seasoned very nicely and very tender. The portion for the chicken was great as well for the prices. The yellow rice was good and goes well with the sauces. The fries were surprisingly fantastic as they were very crisp and still soft inside and they go great with either sauce. Sad I cannot give this new location five stars but after a less than five minute drive home in 70 degree weather my food was COLD! :( Instead of warm and fresh our taco platter and carne asada both tasted like they had been pulled out of the fridge. The yucca was the only warm thing we got. Aside from the temperature, everything else about our meal was excellent! I'm currently trying to convince myself I don't need more yucca and yellow sauce. The drive through menu is limited. I recommend checking it out before waiting in line. We were able to order tacos but had to go inside for the carne asada. Ok I am slow to jump on this bandwagon. My husband introduced me to their chicken..... it's cooked to perfection and seasoned and perfectly moist. A couple of times during quarantine I've gotten the 1/2 chicken meals and both times it's been delicious. I love that this location has a drive thru. Not to mention the folks who work here are some of the nicest people. Always smiling, always gracious. They had excellent social distancing precautions as well with masks and gloves in the drive thru. Check it out! I've been eating at Chicken Fiesta since they opened their first location on Midlothian Tpk sometime ago. Every time I go there the receptionist has a big smile and is very helpful even thou I already know what I want lol Their customer service is on point and their food is even better. This is the best of their locations because there is plenty of parking and they have a drive-through window. I enjoy the many items on their menu especially the ribs which are really good and of course the rotisserie chicken. The restaurant is kept very clean and all the associates are very friendly.
