Looking for a late meal. Google says hours are open until 9pm every night. Actually closes at 8pm every night. Wasted drive.

We were there fairly early, around 5:30 PM, and the restaurant was empty when we arrived. We were seated almost immediately, and our drink orders were taken and delivered with the same exceptional timeliness. *The draft beer was delightfully cold. The menu seemed to be fairly typical, although they had a separate menu with a additional items that were not as widely available. My daughter and I chose burritos, which were delivered to the table again in a timely manner. The portion sizes were huge! I had a fajita burrito that came with steak, rice, beans, and some additional items inside the wrap with cheese and avocado on top. It was delicious. My daughter chose another of the burritos which came out the same size, and she cleaned the plate. Once we were done, we did have a bit of a wait for the check, but nothing ridiculous. Overall, the restaurant was clean, well decorated, and played a radio station that provided background ambiance without reducing the ability to have quiet conversations at the table.

It's like eating a chicken fajita because it comes with 3 tortillas and even had some leftovers for the next day. My husband had (as always) Birria Tacos which came with 3 and he said they were really good too. Loves dipping them in the chile sauce and filled him up. I definitely want to come back to try more menu items.

We asked to be seated outside and the manager came and turned on the heaters for us. Super sweet. The food came out quick. We did go on a Sunday around 5:30pm. Ohhhh the fresh chips and salsa is addicting I had the veggie fajitas they were outstanding and there was so much. I barely touched my meal because it came with a generous side dish of rice beans, and a salad and I basically ate my side dish, and I took the rest of the vegetable fajitas home. I hardly go out for dinner because it's very expensive but for $17 the amount of food that I got and I got to take some home I would definitely come back here again probably once a month. It's now one of my top five restaurants. And the servers were super nice. They would check on us and ask if we wanted more refills on our chips and salsa just overall friendly nice servers. I highly recommend this nice restaurant in heart of Midlothian town. Zip 24113

Ordered drinks and got those immediately, which was also good. When our drinks got dropped off, we were asked if we had already decided on what we wanted to eat, but we hadn't even been handed menus yet. It was at that point that the QR code on the table was gestured to, so we realized that the menu was to be viewed on our phone. Luckily, my ASD kiddo orders the same thing every single time (orange soda, side of fries, queso to dip them in) so he could place his order without looking, but I needed to look at the menu. And it just wasn't super viewer-friendly on a cellphone. Constant hitting the back button, lots of scrolling to compare items. I finally just ordered some random tacos so I could be off my phone and stop ignoring my kiddo. The food itself was pretty standard fare. Not bad but not special either. The restaurant itself was offensively warm though, we were pretty uncomfortable and ended up leaving after my little guy started feeling too overheated and got sick, so that was fun. There are just too many other restaurants to try in the area for us to want to try this one again.

You can tell from the moment you walk in that everything is thoughtfully done, from the colorful decor to the fresh ingredients in every dish. We dined in and had a great experience from start to finish. Ordering was simple and quick. They also offer takeout and app-based ordering if you're on the go. The menu has plenty of taco options, and everything we tried tasted incredibly fresh. I had the chicken tacos, which were juicy and full of flavor. My wife chose the chorizo tacos, which had the perfect mix of spice and savoriness. We ended up sharing and trying a little of each, and both were excellent. The salsas really stood out. I tried the carrot hot sauce, and despite not liking carrots at all, I was surprised by how good it was. Our child had the quesadilla meal, which is an amazing value at $8.99. It includes a quesadilla, chips, a cookie, a drink, and even a rubber duck. It was a fun and satisfying meal. The lunch taco deal is another great option. For $12.99, you get two tacos, chips, and a drink. Considering the quality, this is a fantastic deal. Chicano Boy gets the basics right and adds thoughtful, fun touches that make the experience memorable. We are already looking forward to coming back.

We called ahead and the staff had the tables ready for us. I'm so glad I gave this place another look because our experience last night was very different from previously and everything was delicious. Between all of us, we probably ordered 11 different dishes and I heard zero complaints from anyone. I spend a great deal of time in Mexico and my go-to is Tacos Al Pastor. While not quite like the real un Americanized Al Pastor, the Tres Machos dish was quite tasty. My order came with the standard 3 "street" tacos (they were a little larger than the real ones). I was satisfied with 2 and took the last one home where it's going to be my lunch today! The waiters were efficient and friendly. The food didn't take long to get to the table. No complaints. The burrito Mexicana was warm (as was the beans) when it came to the table and the cheese on top was more like room temp....I ate about 3 bites before returning to the standard chips + salsa. My friend had a steak fajita which she said was pretty warm and she ate the majority of her food.

I had planned to sit down and eat there but it seems a little busy that day so I ended up taking my food home. The restaurant was nice and clean. I like the lighting there. Staff were nice, when I got my food, they had forgotten my chips so I had to wait for about 5 minutes for them to figure it out. I really wanted to try the tipsy chick taco so I got that and chips and queso. Chips and queso is a 10 out of 10. My friend had the Baja shrimp taco and thought it was really good. We agreed that the tacos are pricey because they are small. We said we should have gotten two tacos because we were still hungry after eating the one but they are good so is worth the money but I wish they were a little bit bigger. I am actually excited I tried Torchys taco and I plan on going back and trying other tacos and stuff.

I like that they put stickers on the tacos so that you know which on is which. They also say which sauce goes on which taco as those are package separately which is nice as well. My only feedback is that they should label the sauces too as those can be hard to distinguish without tasting them. Food - I got 3 tacos and my husband got 2 along with an order of 1/2 queso, 1/2 guac to share. The queso and guac were both really good and came with a generous portion of chips. I feel like the tacos are expensive for the size. 2 is good if you're not very hungry or order a side. 3 is good to serve as a meal. Here's what we ordered: Naughty Santa - our favorite! If you get a shrimp taco it should be this one! The poblano sauce is SO GOOD! I might put that on every taco next time I come. Baja Shrimp - also really good! The pickled onions were pretty spicy which came as a surprise. Trailer Park Trashy - good, really flavorful, definitely heavy. I felt unhealthy by the time I finished this one. Mr. Orange - okay this one was nasty. I hate to say it but it was really not good. We regretted trying this one and couldn't even finish it. The flavor profile is off, and the salmon is weird. The texture was too soft and the taco lacked a crunch.
