    Black Beans Side

This place just gets worse. Quality of food is subpar. Always messing up orders. Took forever just to serve horrible food that immediately sent us to the toilet. Still trying to figure out why there were half cooked potatoes in the street corn. One of the few decent things they had that's no longer good. Pictured are the black beans we were served. Officially done.

    Nachos.

Nachos. Skimpy and messy and cold. I added ground beef. It looked like it was left over crumbs. A spoon full of queso. Just a mess. 3rd. Time every time but will be my last. I moved stuff around in pics to show my crumbs and lil to nothing queso.

I was craving a taco while running errands and ended up here with my family. I have never been to a Rusty Taco so I had no idea what to expect. Long story short I was underwhelmed. Everything just fell short: Queso: runny and watery Brisket taco: dry, crunchy and flavor less, Philly steak taco: the shining star of my order. The steak was juicy and seasoned well. A little tough to chew though. Spicy shrimp taco: no spice and heavy on the salt, very dry. Habanero sauce: mild at best The prices seem a little high for what you get. They do have a bar that serves margaritas and a daily 3p-7p happy hour daily. We were there during that time and saw no signage calling out what was on the happy hour menu nor did the employees mention this. In the pecking order of taco places Rusty Taco falls on the bottom of the rung just slightly above Taco Bell.

it's a no for me. Brisket taco

I won't be going back, $5.00 for a beef brisket taco that was overwhelmed with cold cheese, ice cold onions and 3 pieces of cilantro. There was small pierce's of " brisket" that wasn't brisket. I took one bite of this foolishness and threw in trash. You be better off going to mission BBQ for brisket.

Prickly pear margarita with salt is really good I will definitely be coming back to try other flavors like the watermelon and pineapple habanero margarita

We visited the Rusty Taco for the first time this week and were pleasantly surprised. They focus on selling street style tacos. Soft corn and flour tortilla. I had something similar in Venice Beach on the boardwalk. We ordered grilled shrimp, fried fish and beef tacos. The flavor was delicioso! Rusty Taco is located in the back area of West Chester Commons. Currently off the beaten track but in the next few months a large apartment complex housing 200+ apartments will be opening about 30" away. This is going to transform the area and put Rusty Taco's margarita bar and outdoor patio to good use. The atmosphere inside was fantastic. I can totally see the being my go to spot for sipping margaritas during the summer months. There was plenty of outdoor parking. We ordered at the counter and the cashier was informative. The only part that was disappointing was the size of my $3 taco. It was kinda small and empty looking. Once I dug in, it was enough and super tasty but I had to get over the initial "wow this is small!". I plan to go back for lunch more often now that I know about the Rusty Taco..

It's good! Look I appreciate anywhere that has new, interesting and fun food options. Rusty Taco does that for me. It has unique options that you wouldn't necessarily find in the area, and with a relaxed atmosphere, it's just a fun place to come for lunch with friends. Nothing fancy, but different than the normal food options you get everywhere.

You can tell from the moment you walk in that everything is thoughtfully done, from the colorful decor to the fresh ingredients in every dish. We dined in and had a great experience from start to finish. Ordering was simple and quick. They also offer takeout and app-based ordering if you're on the go. The menu has plenty of taco options, and everything we tried tasted incredibly fresh. I had the chicken tacos, which were juicy and full of flavor. My wife chose the chorizo tacos, which had the perfect mix of spice and savoriness. We ended up sharing and trying a little of each, and both were excellent. The salsas really stood out. I tried the carrot hot sauce, and despite not liking carrots at all, I was surprised by how good it was. Our child had the quesadilla meal, which is an amazing value at $8.99. It includes a quesadilla, chips, a cookie, a drink, and even a rubber duck. It was a fun and satisfying meal. The lunch taco deal is another great option. For $12.99, you get two tacos, chips, and a drink. Considering the quality, this is a fantastic deal. Chicano Boy gets the basics right and adds thoughtful, fun touches that make the experience memorable. We are already looking forward to coming back.

I got a beef bowl and a side of refried beans. I felt like the portion size was really good. The ingredients were fresh. The ground beef in the bowl was a little bit salty and I also thought the refried beans were a little too salty as well. I was full and I couldn't really finish the whole thing. I will definitely go again to try other things. If I get the bowl again I would try a different protein.

Ordered drinks and got those immediately, which was also good. When our drinks got dropped off, we were asked if we had already decided on what we wanted to eat, but we hadn't even been handed menus yet. It was at that point that the QR code on the table was gestured to, so we realized that the menu was to be viewed on our phone. Luckily, my ASD kiddo orders the same thing every single time (orange soda, side of fries, queso to dip them in) so he could place his order without looking, but I needed to look at the menu. And it just wasn't super viewer-friendly on a cellphone. Constant hitting the back button, lots of scrolling to compare items. I finally just ordered some random tacos so I could be off my phone and stop ignoring my kiddo. The food itself was pretty standard fare. Not bad but not special either. The restaurant itself was offensively warm though, we were pretty uncomfortable and ended up leaving after my little guy started feeling too overheated and got sick, so that was fun. There are just too many other restaurants to try in the area for us to want to try this one again.

I had planned to sit down and eat there but it seems a little busy that day so I ended up taking my food home. The restaurant was nice and clean. I like the lighting there. Staff were nice, when I got my food, they had forgotten my chips so I had to wait for about 5 minutes for them to figure it out. I really wanted to try the tipsy chick taco so I got that and chips and queso. Chips and queso is a 10 out of 10. My friend had the Baja shrimp taco and thought it was really good. We agreed that the tacos are pricey because they are small. We said we should have gotten two tacos because we were still hungry after eating the one but they are good so is worth the money but I wish they were a little bit bigger. I like that they put stickers on the tacos so that you know which on is which. They also say which sauce goes on which taco as those are package separately which is nice as well. My only feedback is that they should label the sauces too as those can be hard to distinguish without tasting them. Food - I got 3 tacos and my husband got 2 along with an order of 1/2 queso, 1/2 guac to share. The queso and guac were both really good and came with a generous portion of chips. I feel like the tacos are expensive for the size. 2 is good if you're not very hungry or order a side. 3 is good to serve as a meal. Here's what we ordered: Naughty Santa - our favorite! If you get a shrimp taco it should be this one! The poblano sauce is SO GOOD! I might put that on every taco next time I come. Baja Shrimp - also really good! The pickled onions were pretty spicy which came as a surprise. Trailer Park Trashy - good, really flavorful, definitely heavy. I felt unhealthy by the time I finished this one. Mr. Orange - okay this one was nasty. I hate to say it but it was really not good. We regretted trying this one and couldn't even finish it. The flavor profile is off, and the salmon is weird. The texture was too soft and the taco lacked a crunch.
