Overall, I was really happy with my meal, as the flavors were more authentic than other Mexican restaurants I've tried. Tacos were the best I had since my trip to the Bay in '19. Al pastor was perfect. My husband said the chicken quesadilla is the best he's ever had in his life. All the food was what we wanted and it hit that taco craving. Like everyone has said, it's as good as west coast tacos.

Instead of apologizing or immediately offering a replacement, the waiter picked up the hair, examined it, and told us it was a woman's hair, then said only men work in the kitchen, implying that it must have come from someone at our table. This was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unnecessary--especially since all of our hair was tied up. Accidents happen, and we understand that. What matters is how staff handle them. Blaming customers and making assumptions rather than taking responsibility made the situation far worse and made us feel uncomfortable. A simple apology and solution would have gone a long way. Very disappointing response to what should have been a straightforward issue.

Also, the complimentary chips, salsa, and white sauce for takeout could use some balance. You get two servings of chips but barely enough salsa for one chip, which feels a little off. I'm actually quite in awe of this and the main reason I can't give them 5 stars. You're already great. Don't compromise that by being stingy on salsa when give so much in your dishes. Overall, this is my go-to spot for Mexican food. I don't even live close, but I gladly make the drive every time.

I ordered the enchiladas super rancheras and my wife ordered a shrimp fajita. The fajita was amazing but my order came out wrong and was only 2 enchiladas, so I let the waiter know and he ended up bringing me another plate that was also missing an enchilada. I didn't want to wait again for a third plate so I just ate it. The salsa was pretty good here but the white sauce and the queso dip were way too runny which made a mess. The food here is pretty good but it'll probably be a little while before I decide to come back.
