I've got that freshly moved-in high, thanks to Can't Stop Moving. I am still in shock at how accommodating they were. I called them when my lease was approved *yesterday* and they were able to squeeze us in this morning. My family had our things stored in a POD while finding a place. We had to get rid of some things that didn't fit in our new place (like the king-sized bed & mattress). The movers met us at the POD facility in Everett, loaded everything into their vans and let me sort through it. They organized our stuff on the truck and worked efficiently to make the unloading process at the new pad quite swift. I was so relieved that they not not only moved, but put stuff in storage with me and took the mattress to the dump and our extra stuff that wouldn't fit after all to a donation center. Here I am just 4 hours later, writing this review. John was the foreman. He ran the show effectively and articulately. Andrii was very thorough and deliberate with his suggestions and everything he did. Tom had a lot of practical advice and answered all of my questions. OVERVIEW We hired Can't Stop Moving for our local move from Bothell to Bellevue. We moved from a 5-bedroom 2,900sf house to an almost identical sized house and floorplan. We packed some boxes, but knew we'd need significant help to pack the almost 180 boxes overall. Our job consisted of one day to pack and the next day to move with two trucks. The 5-man crew did it in one day, albeit a very long day for them (and us). They were the hardest working, nicest guys ever. ESTIMATE Eric, the owner, provided an initial estimate over the phone which was in the ballpark of the other two quotes I had already received. Because of the size of our home, he came out to do a walkthrough to refine the estimate. His estimate wasn't the lowest one, but I chose them because of his professionalism and the company's amazing yelp reviews. I also had a feeling that one of the other estimates from another company was low on purpose to just get my business, but the actual total would be much higher. PACK Our job had a 5-man crew consisting of Ian, Jonathan, William, Gregory and John. Gregory packed our entire kitchen (I have a lot of dishware). John and Jonathan packed the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. Ian and William worked on the downstairs. They then tackled our garage. Ashley, who works in the office, was with the crew to help pack and get a better sense of how things are on a job. She explained to me that her time was complimentary to us. They all worked steadily (I never saw them take a break) and were nice (chatting with us a bit here and there). Note that they moved a big treadmill and huge elliptical from upstairs to the garage. It was not an easy task. MOVE In the early afternoon, they asked if we wanted to move that day as packing was progressing well. We were up for that as an extra day would help us get our old house ready to put on the market. The packing continued throughout the late afternoon and the two trucks arrived at our new house about 8pm. We had pizza waiting for them, but they hardly ate. These guys hustled and finished bringing in our furniture and boxes about 10:15pm. This included our big washer and dryer that needed to go upstairs (they also hooked it up). They also assembled the beds. This was a crazy long day of constant work and moving for them. I have no idea how they still had any energy left after 14 hours. They didn't complain once and were just really lovely. We found a $5 bill in one of our kitchen boxes when starting to unpack. So these guys are really honest, too. EXPENSE The total was less than the estimate provided by Eric as the crew finished the job in fewer hours. We were happy about that and included a gratuity with our payment. Like a lot of people, this was our first significant house-to-house move using professional movers. I didn't know the etiquette on tipping before. I'm telling you now, please tip your movers if you feel they did a good job. Tip them more than the suggested $20/person you'll find on a Google search. Try 3-4 times that to show your appreciation. SUMMARY Needless to say, we would use them again and highly recommend them to any friends, family or strangers with the highest level of confidence. I want to start by saying I am a difficult consumer and have the highest expectations. I also had a tough move with many miles in between, storage units, and multiple homes being moved into one, all multilevel. I was pricing movers and started at the bottom of the list which led to me sitting waiting for companies to respond and then being ambiguous on what they truly offer. I finally spoke with Eric with Can't Stop Moving and he was clear and concise in the first interaction (which was the very first time I called). He scheduled me and sent confirmation of all services and dates. Subsequently I received a confirmation and further instruction before the move. Answered all my questions in great detail. Very thorough, very friendly. Come moving day Ian, Spencer, and John showed up at 8:00am sharp and started picking up boxes and moving immediately. These guys were incredibly thorough, fun to be around, and absolutely respectful in every single way. I've had movers before and you just expect at least a little bit of damage to your house or your belongings. Not with Ian, Spencer, and John. These guys didn't bump, drop, nick, scrape or scratch A SINGLE ITEM!!! Not one, nothing. They spent painstaking detail packing the truck so absolutely nothing fell, which is not an easy feat!!! They were unbelievably respectful as if everything belonged to them. Also, they work harder than you can believe! Never on their phone, no lolligagging, nothing. The quote itself was very comprehensive - don't be afraid to be asked for a rough inventory of what you'll need moved. * Accommodating to time change: we found out that our apartment complex couldn't open the loading dock until 10am, two hours after our original move time. I've heard that moving companies can be unreliable, and sometimes don't show up for appointments; but the Can't Stop Moving team was at my door on the dot! I meant to review this company when I moved back in 2018, so things might've changed since then but I should not have trusted the high yelp review rating because 2 out of the 3 movers were extremely rude and unprofessional and complained their job, one showed up an hour late which slowed down the move, and we ended up paying for that extra hour. They did not listen to where I told them to put the boxes, so my husband and I had to move a lot of our heavy belongings upstairs by ourselves, they also did not lay down plastic or wear shoe covers and tracked dirt onto the new carpet. Honest, respectful, fast and efficient - yet a bit sloppy. I have hired the team for a packing and moving package (moving between a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment in the same building complex). I did not do ANY preparations before the day of the move, i.e. nothing was packed or cleared. The house wasn't a mess, but you couldn't guess it was an apartment that need to be vacated in a couple of days. The team arrived when they said they would, and zip zap, less than 4 hours later, (mostly) everything was in my new apartment. I was amazed at how quickly they had packed, and moved everything. In fact, since they charge by the hour (+ material), the fact that they were so efficient resulted in less money owed to them; I was a bit embarrassed for the team lead who calculated the pay, which was about half of what they originally estimated to be; (I did give them a generous tip though) After the team left, I found a few things that dampend my satisfaction with the packing/moving a bit: 1) The packing was a bit sloppy. Nothing broke (including wine glasses and a lot of glassware), but we found a wet kitchen cloth thrown in with a bunch of random stuff that was on the kitchen counter. all of our spice containers were thrown in a box, and on of the containers spilled filling everything with tumeric powder :-) 2) They did not move anything out of the fridge; I did not explicitly ask them to, but I expected it to be done and was surprised it wasn't. 3) They overlooked some stuff that were in cabinets a bit out of sight, though not hidden (example - a microwave oven was left on one of the kitchen cupboards). All in all I am very pleased; I did not have to do any packing, or almost any preparation - and %97 of the move was completed in less than 4 hours. read more

There was some minor damage to the walls but someone came and helped patch them up, reimbursed me for materials to paint myself and a very fair discount off the job price. CSM took care of my move from Ballard to Queen Anne yesterday (it was a rainy Sunday), and they did an incredible job! Luis, YJ, and Mackenzie took care of my furnishings like they were their own. Some of my furniture is really delicate, but they wrapped everything to keep it from rubbing in the truck, and despite the weather, nothing got wet at all. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they did a final walkthrough with me so they could make sure I was happy with everything before they left. We have a little dog who was scurrying around during the move, and these guys looked out for him and even grabbed him when he ran outside. CSM did a great job communicating with me throughout the process, from getting a quote, to scheduling, to reminders leading up to the actual move date, and they were easy to work with when I needed to make changes to my reservation. I've used Can't Stop Moving twice now! Both times were for an 1/1 apartment move. Both times, 3 friendly and efficient movers came. On the first move, I had no idea how to break down my bed so the head mover was happy to do it for me and put it back together for me as well. The guys were efficient in loading and unloading, courteous, and careful with my items. I have been extremely satisfied with both moves and will definitely use them again for my future needs. I only had a phone call with this company. The gentleman on the phone, Patrick, was extremely nice, and before collecting all of my personal information, he wanted to make sure it was the right move for me. I hugely appreciated this and this would make me want to give them a call and do business with them in the future. I needed to do a move from Washington to California of a large closet's worth of plastic boxes. No big furniture, but nonetheless an amount that doesn't fit into a single car. So I didn't expect it to be very expensive. Unfortunately, according to the gentleman on the phone, the price has to be $5,000 or higher. So the company didn't make sense for me. I removed 1 star only because they only do jobs that are at least $5k, which wasn't readily apparent anywhere that I looked. (But maybe I missed it.) They were very clear to me, however, that their services are fast and relatively personalized. As I understand, they don't use huge trucks that they stuff with several families' worth of items. They operate smaller trucks and expedite the delivery. read more

Our move was from a townhouse with three flights of stairs to a new home 275 miles away. We hadn't moved in fifteen years so there was also lots of stuff. Eric got right back to me with a quote. It wasn't the cheapest, but it was competitive, and I liked how they would do as much or as little as we needed. On moving day, Patrick, Carlos, and John showed up with a 24 foot truck and got right to work. These guys worked hard and efficiently. Everything was well padded, and fragile items were treated appropriately. Because this was a relatively long distance move, we decided to park the truck in a secure yard overnight, but they would have driven over if I wanted. The next morning, they got an early start and arrived at our new home by early afternoon. The truck was quickly unloaded, and they were on their way back to Seattle. This was our first time using professional movers. Brandon, William, and Alex were our crew and they were great. We moved the Saturday after Christmas. The team arrived at 8:30 am at our apartment and had everything in the truck before noon! This was even with our couch refusing to leave the apartment (the crew finally had to take the door off the hinges). The crew never complained about our oversized couch or our cats which were not happy campers being locked away in a bathroom all morning. Once at our house, the crew put every item of furniture and every box exactly where we directed them to put it. They even humored me and moved around a few pieces of furniture so I could see how they looked in different positions. This was the least stressful moving day I have ever had! These guys were awesome! The name is accurate. We had a crew of five in non-stop motion for 10 hours. On a Saturday! Merging two households and a storage unit worth of [too much] stuff and schlepping the whole thing from Bothell to Stanwood. (We filled two 24' trucks to the gills.) We did all the packing, so can't speak to their expertise there. We did have one incident with an antique. The owner himself come out to repair it and and made it better than it ever had been. I highly recommend Can't Stop Moving. On August 1st, these guys helped us move from a two-story house to a two-bedroom apartment, which is no easy feat. Malcolm was very responsive and great at accommodating our last-minute request to have help with packing up our kitchen. We were lucky to have the Andrus (two of them) and Alnur as our crew. Two-thirds of our move items were donations to Goodwill, and the crew was super attentive and made sure they understood what boxes were going where. We were very impressed with the Andru that packed up our kitchen, he was incredibly fast and didn't break a thing. We know that's a hard thing to do, so we were fully prepared to have some broken items; you can imagine how impressed we were that were none. We also had an issue where our new apartment complex didn't have door stoppers and our couch didn't fit in our elevator. The crew was good at problem-solving both those issues fast and without complaint, even if it meant hauling the coach up the stairs to the very top floor and then some. Overall, as people who are pretty picky about other people touching their stuff, we are very happy with the help we received from the crew. A few days later, when I wanted to verify that we were still okay to go ahead despite the current shelter-in-place order, Eric M responded very quickly and reassured me that we were still good to go. I got a text message the day before confirming once again. I love how responsive and communicative the CSM team is. I booked a move and was given a start time window of 8:00 - 8:30am. Andrew, YJ, and Andrii showed up ready to work at 8:05. They were super helpful and worked very hard, and while my estimate was for 4-5 hours, they finished in barely over four hours even. They were careful and respectful of my belongings and packed everything well. My move was a mess and I wasn't close to as ready as I should have been, but they handled everything professionally and capably. I have nothing but praise for this crew and this business. They are, admittedly, not the least expensive moving service in Seattle.
