Anthony is very professional and polite. He came during the time frame that he said he would, which I appreciate. He listened, when I pointed out that one of the feet in my piano was missing. I felt he was very capable, thorough and his prices are very reasonable. My piano sounds much better now. read more

Great service in tuning my baby grand piano that hadn't been tuned for many years. It sounds fabulous! Thank you Anthony! And you are a fabulous pianist yourself. read more

Willey tuned my two piano, one grand and one upright. He spent total of 3 hours and very pay attention to detail. And even did some small repairs with my piano cover. Highly recommended. read more

Very patient. Did all the work carefully, explained some details, answered many questions my son had, gave some insights. Very happy.

Wonderful experience, we have a "free" piano and it sounds amazing now after tuning. Thank you!

We've had hit and miss experience with piano tuners over the years. So I was really happy to have found Willey Piano Tuning (thanks to Yelp). I don't have much to add beyond all the good comments and reviews already posted here on Yelp about Mr. Willey. He was responsive to our initial inquiry; showed up on time; spent a good amount of time fixing some sticky keys on our grand piano and then tuning it. I liked that he seemed very patient and attentive. It didn't feel like he was in a rush to get out to his next job. I sensed he would have taken whatever time was needed to do things right. And he did! We will definitely use Willey again! read more

Another great tuning by Anthony. Always punctual and polite. Look forward to having him again!

I had a great experience with this company, and recommend this service. We bought a used older piano that was ridiculously out of tune, and now is sounds beautiful. read more

I had an excellent experience, I was curious about the mechanics of piano tuning and Anthony chatted with me about doubling frequencies, interference, and harmonics as he worked on my piano. I got the chance to see what it was like to tune an individual string, and he answered all the questions I had about the numbers of strings used per note, and all the mechanical details that go into a piano. I'd recommend Anthony, not just for the excellent job he did at tuning, but if you have any interest in learning more about pianos or the physics of music, he was extremely well qualified to talk about it. - Mark read more

I contacted Mr. Willey a week before Christmas for a surprise tuning for my boyfriend who has been playing piano most of his life. We had just moved from Texas to Washington with a baby grand piano at the beginning of December. With all of the travel in our u-Haul, the piano was in desperate need of a tuning. When I called Mr. Willey, he was able to fit me in within a couple of days which was pretty shocking that close to Christmas! He arrived on time for the appointment and was very professional. He worked for a couple of hours and the piano sounded better than even after the last tuning we had back in Texas! My boyfriend was thoroughly impressed and we will definitely contact Mr. Willey for our next tuning. His prices are very affordable and we are really enjoying our piano now that it's in tune again! read more

Great experience! Anthony is knowledgable and kind; he showed up on time and got right to work, answered all of our questions, and seemed to care very much about detail. Will be calling him again! read more

Anthony has the most astounding qualities, his correspondence, timeliness, humbleness, and expert knowledge are excellent. He worked relentlessly to have the piano at top notch, which finally produced such a quality sound. He listened to what our concerns were regarding the piano, and then, he succeeded in explaining and showing us what was clearly causing problems with the piano. He went well beyond to have the piano repaired. I profoundly suggest him for all your piano needs. Thank you very much Anthony. read more

My old baby grand piano needed a lot of TLC and this company was awesome! Friendly, respectful service, they adhered to all COVID safety precautions, and my piano is in great shape. The tuner even graciously put up with my very barky dog would recommend for sure! read more

Great service! We had a stuck piano key, but figured we'd go for the full tuning service. Anthony arrived promptly, fixed the problem immediately, and offered to skip the tuning - but we went ahead with it. And we're so glad we did. The piano has never sounded better. He was very thorough, taking nearly two hours to complete the tune up. Afterwards he performed a quick concerto to demonstrate the improvement. He even tightened up the piano bench without us asking (our previous tuner never touched anything but the piano itself). If there's one thing we'd do differently, it would be to clean the shed cat fur from around the piano area prior to the visit. Mr. Willey has a cat dander allergy, and he sneezed frequently during the tuning session. It did not impact his work; he's a real trouper and hero of the arts! read more

This is the professional piano tuner you should hire! We are very fortunate to have Anthony visit us before he heads back to Seattle next month. Great communications before we met. He showed up at 10 am (SHARP) for our piano tuning. Can't believe he asked my permission to fix our piano pedals without adding extra charge. With the app he invented, Easy Piano Tuner, we can easily see a figure showing how awful our piano sounded across the board. Anthony also offered many constructive suggestions for us. We will miss you in Iowa! read more

Anthony is very professional and courteous. He accommodated me for such a short notice to tune my piano that has not been tuned for over 5 years . It sounds so great now . read more

Great tuning. Covid safe service. Our piano is an antique and a few tubers declined. I was grateful to find someone willing.

Anthony was prompt, friendly and did a really fantastic job. My piano hasn't been tuned in quite some time after being moved cross country so it required quite a bit of attention. I cannot believe how lovely it sounded after he was done with it. He did a great job at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him! read more

I could not be more pleased. I have a 100+ year old upright piano that I grew up playing, and I could not think of a time it has been tuned. It was time and I knew a project. I called Willey Piano Tuning and he was able to accommodate and after work appointment within that week. Great start. He arrived in a timely fashion ready to go to work. He was also very respectful of being in someone else's home. Over the course of nearly three hours (my piano's fault, not his speed), I've never seen or heard it sound like this. Not only did he tune and pitch lift, he also went through and corrected some of the original ivories that a family member had poorly glued over the years. (Some were crooked and made a tick when played.) He also came prepared with spare parts as needed. At one point it was vacuuming/cleaning the inside which I know hasn't been done. His rates were beyond reasonable. I highly recommend his service to anyone in need of a tune or more. I was so pleased with Anthony's service that I am referring friends and family to him. read more

Anthony does an exceptional job at a very fair price. Completely professional, great at communicating what he's doing to non-music folks like myself and an all-around smart and pleasant guy. Our piano hadn't been tuned in five years and hadn't had real maintenance done in decades, so it required some major overhauls, but it ended up sounding great and the cost was much, much less than we'd been quoted by others. I can't recommend his work more highly. read more

Anthony responded promptly to my inquiry and was available to address our 20-year-out-of-tune piano just a few days later. He arrived right on time, and went about his business quietly and expertly. Our old piano sounds beautiful again! I highly recommend Anthony. Excellent work at a great price. read more

Anthony was so wonderful. He tuned our 100 year old piano and it sounds awesome. He came the next day, was friendly, professional and very affordable. You can tell he's a perfectionist and I call him "the piano whisperer." He also fixed a broken key for $5! I will never use anyone else and will recommend him to anyone whose piano is in need of some TLC. read more

Anthony was fantastic! We inherited a piano that had not been touched in many years, so Anthony had his work cut out for him. He worked hard not only on the tuning, but also on some other maintenance items for the piano, and it sounds great now! Anthony truly went above and beyond in his service--would highly recommend! read more

Anthony did an amazing job. We had an old piano given to us and it was very, very out of tune and needed some repairs. There were missing ivories, sticking keys, and keys that continued to vibrate after you let go. He fixed it all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him. read more

I'll join the other reviewers in praising Anthony Willey for his piano tuning. Similar to the first review, we have an old piano that hadn't been tuned in over 30 years. Anthony arrived as scheduled, was courteous and respectful and started immediately to work. We had one stuck key that he fixed in no time at all and a missing felt on the lowest key. Not only does he understand the mechanics of the piano and can make repairs easily, he tuned our piano so that it sounds better than I can ever remember it sounding before. Anthony is knowledgeable, likable and a pleasure to work with. We will be calling him again in a year because after his artful tuning, I'm motivated to keep the piano in tune and in repair and he's the man to do it. read more

Marla D. I choose Willey Piano Tuning to tune my piano based on the reviews on Yelp, his reasonable prices, availability, plus the added bonus of a Yelp coupon. I am happy to say that I made the right choice! I felt very comfortable having Mr. Willey in my home, and entrusting my most valued possession, my piano, to him. Once again my piano sounds magnificent, and the high notes are as clear as a bell. Anthony was prompt, courteous and efficient. We are on a repeated annual schedule with Anthony. He is courteous and very thorough. He will not stop until the job is done. I really like how meticulously he explains the process so I know exactly what is going on. We had one key that was reverberating and one that was double hitting. He made sure to explain why it was happening and showed me how he planned to fix it. I have complete faith in his work and will continue to use his services, assuming he doesn't move away :) read more

Breathtaking service! A complete gentleman. Willey was in my home to tune our old piano yesterday. He did a fantastic job! If you need reliability, thoroughness and excellence, I sincerely recommend you go with Willey. He not only tuned the piano, he examined the tear and wear of the bench, the wood work, etc. He even tightened some nuts and boats for us. Now, I can enjoy my piano again. He is good. Fantastic experience would greatly recommend Anthony! We bought an old piano in craigslist and having read all of the scary stories on the web about how wrong this can go i was very nervous. Anthony came and did everything needing doing and more in 2 hours being very reasonable about price. He was very professional and great to work with . We will definitely use him again for future tuning and any other piano related work . read more

I inherited a 100 yr old piano that belonged to my mother. I grew up in Hawaii where the weather did a number on the piano, along with years of neglect. I had been told that the piano could not be tuned (which I did not tell Anthony). He came out two days after my call, and arrived promptly on time. He spent 4 hours tuning the piano and was extremely honest as he was doing so. He made it clear from the start that some pianos are just too old to be worth fixing but told me he'd do his best. He still has more work to do, but the piano sounds better than I've heard it sound in years. I will absolutely have Anthony finish the work on my piano and would highly recommend him to anyone needing piano work done. He took an old piano which was probably needing to be scraped, and turned it into a piano that my kids can play and keep in our family. read more

Anthony was amazing. We were gifted an old upright grand from a family friend and it had not been played for awhile. Anthony not only tuned the piano, but also repaired a broken hammer, replaced one of the ivory keys with recycled ivory that he has gotten from older pianos that have been taken apart, and explained to me how to take care of it for years to come. He was so helpful, knowledgable, and wonderful to work with. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

I went with Wiley Piano Tuning based on all the great Yelp reviews and I'm so glad I did! Anthony was professional and delightful to work with. He tuned a junker piano I received for free from Craigslist and I had no idea the piano could sound so great! My piano hadn't been tuned in over 9 years. Anthony tuned it up, fixed the pedals, polished up the keys and now it sounds, looks and works great. Our old upright piano was very out of tune, played two notes to one key, and played nothing on two keys! Mr. Willey came in and repaired two hammers, replaced two missing ivories, and tuned it beautifully. He was very clear about what was included with the tuning, and what the cost would be for replacing the missing hammers, no surprise fees at the end. We will definitely be going with him again when we need another tuning. read more
