Scott tuned my Kawai K500 in West Seattle. While it was "relatively" in-tune beforehand, and playable, afterward the sound became round, rich, and frankly beyond compare to any tuning prior. It now sounds more akin to concert instruments I played at school! The action went from relatively loose and inconsistent to tight, even, and very responsive. The touch tapers precisely with the movement of my hands so every nuance is revealed. Scott is an excellent communicator both when setting an appointment (email, phone, and txt) as well as in-person (e.g. while discussing my concerns about noise in the sustain pedal's movement, questions about the condition of the instrument, placement in the room, etc.) No way I could recommend Scott enough! read more

I found Scott from AAA Piano Service through Thumbtack and I am so glad I did. He tuned my 1949 Mason & Hamlin Model A and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Not only did he do an outstanding job bringing the piano into tune, but he was also incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and generous with his insights. I appreciated how informative and detail-oriented he was throughout the visit--it made me feel like my piano was in expert hands. I've already recommended him to my piano teacher and will absolutely be using him again for future tunings. Highly recommend! read more

AAA Piano Service - Piano Services Near Me

Had a Schubert piano that hasn't been tuned in over decade, searched around and saw his business through here. Sent him an email and he responded very quickly! Was able to get an appointment with him within the next two days. I decided to go for the All Inclusive Package and it was definitely worth the price! Definitely recommend getting him to tune your piano if you haven't had yours tuned in years. read more

Scott is one of the best piano technicians I've ever used. He's not only very skilled, but he's also very talented and can turn even the worst pianos into something that has a nice voice. He knows his stuff! I had a small schooling spinet that didn't have the best sound, but Scott made it sound so much better. I told him I was looking for a baby grand, and he found one for me. Now I'm fortunate to have a baby grand built in 1858 in Vienna, Austria, that he's refurbishing for me. Scott went way out of his way to get the appropriate strings and hammers that are specifically for my piano. He doesn't leave until he knows you're happy with what he's done. If you want your piano tuned correctly, or if you have a piano that needs work, call Scott. read more

Scott is easily one of the more qualified piano technicians I've worked with. In his time servicing my piano he has demonstrated a keen understanding of the physics that give a piano its tone and his ability to manipulate those details to adjust its tone to a client's liking. I trust Scott to work on my piano and I wager you should, too. It's a great boon working with someone that is capable of more than just tuning strings. read more

Showed up on time, communicated effectively, and did a lovely job in my grandmothers spinet. Would recommend.

Adequate piano tuning - nothing special. Scott's personality is far from professional.

Scott responded quickly to my request for a quote. We were able to schedule an appointment right away, and he was able to offer me an educator discount as he was tuning my school piano. This was super awesome, given my very (!) limited school budget. Now I'll be able to hire him to tune the other school piano. Super recommended. Scott has made my Kawai sing like never before. You will not be disappointed. Scott is Five Stars, for sure. read more

I got a free piano from someone, it's a Baldwin spinet 48 years old. Don't expect the piano to sound great again, but it sounds great now after tuning by Scott. Still a couple keys action feel weird...will play a few more days to see if I need to contact Scott to drop by to fine tune... Regardless, appreciate Scott dropping by in the evening after his work day to tune this! He knows what he is doing!! read more

Scott was fabulous and tuned our upright piano that had moved multiple times across the country since the last time it had been tuned! Scott with AAA Piano Service was great. He was returned our call quickly and was out to tune our piano 2 days later. He was very knowledgeable and showed and explained to me what he was doing so I understood also. He is not pushy for added services but willing to do/give any information on additional services that may be needed. He was also the best price we found which is an added bonus! We will definitely use him in the future! read more

Wonderful service! Plays beautifully as a bonus! Super professional and very skilled. Gained so much information from a "tuning" as well as some repairs, all very affordable. Does more than just repairs if you wish. Loved that he asked about some little repairs (to him!) that added minimal cost (nickels and dimes) which made the piano sound amazing! Definitely recommend and will most definitely hit him up for service again! Local guy with family that serves the area in so many ways!! Nothing to lose, only gain! Thank you Scott for your services and the plethora of information you provided about our "new to us" 1905 piano! Much appreciated! read more

We just had AAA Piano Service tune our piano, Scott was great, he was on time, and took the time to tune and repair all the sticky keys. Scott has a wealth of knowledge and is not satisfied until every key is in perfect tune. It was nice to hear him play it when he was done, now I know what our piano can sound like in the hands of a professional. He does offer a 30 day warrantee should weather conditions or time effect the tune, which is nice to know. read more
