After only 4 months of piano lessons, I instantly regretted starting my quickly progressing 8 year old with a Costco Roland digital piano- so I began my search for an upright acoustic. The greatest challenge was that I wanted the piano to be kept upstairs in our second living room, and thought it would be impossible due to the staircase turns. I spoke to Sam on the phone and text messaged photos of the stairs with measurements to consult whether it would be a possibility before making the drive to the store. Don't let the store's small entrance fool you, WA Pianos had more selection hiding inside than I anticipated, and saved us a trip to Bellevue (which would have been our 3rd piano store attempt traveling far from Kitsap County). After coming to a price that we could both agree on, I purchased a beautiful secondhand Kawai upright 45" K-200 series. I expressed my concerns regarding minor scratches on the black ebony finish, which I was pleased to know could be easily taken cared of by the store's piano detailer. Was visiting family and found this place by accident. Wanted to pick up a couple of music books as a gift . the store looks pretty clean , decent selection pianos from what i could tell. The Owner was very nice but not too experienced with having a store. He did recommend a couple of books which by the way, my cousin loved them So thank you ! As for the 2 Stars, while i was in there paying, an older lady, possibly the owner's mother? she was in there having what I could only describe as a tantrum about something, not sure what, but it was super awkward and if there were any other customers in the store , they would have probably split. Hopefully she doesnt spend a lot of time in there , because your store was otherwise pretty nice. read more

My daughter was finally ready to buy her own first piano. She had found some she liked, but moving costs were quickly escalating past her budget. We saw the ad on Craigslist for WA Pianos and had to go see what they had. The ad showed nice pictures in all price ranges. She thought she would at the very least get to play and see some nice Pianos. As soon as we entered I had a feeling we were leaving with a piano. We were met by Sam Scott and he showed us the Pianos in her price range. She fell in love with one and 4 days later we have a gorgeous piano in our home. I needed my heavy bruiser of a piano moved from my front room into my home studio in the back of the house. While that sounds simple, it actually meant hauling it up and down stairs, down a loose gravel path, and across the thickest carpet known to man. The crew were amazing! Great place to buy a used piano! Sam took the time to explain the qualities among different piano models. He seems to be a very knowledgeable, skilled, and enthusiastic musician and piano technician. I was initially hesitant to purchase a pretty old piano but I was amazed at the sound quality from this 1989 Kawai US-63H model! With the same budget, I was able to get a much higher quality and well refurnished piano from this friendly local store. The purchase comes with one free tune-up and a 10-year warranty. Other piano store usually offers a 5-year warranty only with used pianos. Sam and Cherie also put together some music books to get me started as I haven't played since adulthood. No problem with the piano moving company they use either. Sam was nice to accommodate my work schedule and met me at the store earlier than their usual open hours. Then Cherie followed up to ensure everything went well after the purchase. Cherie also sells homemade organic soap and the soap sample Sam gave me is wonderful too. read more
