Bektur's team was astonishingly efficient and careful while packing our 2000 square foot home. In addition to normal items, we had crammed every inch of our house with baby stuff. With a new baby, it was difficult to find time to pack, so we had them pack up the kitchen and the library. They boxed everything up perfectly, and counted the number of boxes to add to the bill. While they provide quotes, the amount of emojis that they use is absolutely insane. Please be professional. While they may be a good value for long haul moves, I was trying to provide scope of my project for a labor only move. There was no quote provided. Only canned responses were given. A 3 hour minimum at 129 an hour with tax, is: over 400 dollars. That doesn't include insurance per pound, at 60 cents. You can't beat free.99 and a personal workout by using your own personal storage, and other options are much better than this at a minumum 150/hr 2hr minimum with a total of 300 dollars. All in all it seems it's just the business, you're paying for time. One of the three movers left one hour into it. They did not send anyone else Was told they couldn't take my TVs or plant pots. messed up my drywall and had to deal with them for a week then guy didn't show. Finally the dry wall was completed after several calls and emails . The guys were asking me how to move things and had to have my son direct them how to get the couch in. The company gave me two hours free and acted like they did me a favor. Total joke. Definitely not professional movers. The moving blankets had a terrible odor to them. They move extremely slow and tape and overwrap to charge more and take more time. Also telling me no more in the truck. I had to go back and get my own TVs and pots and additional items. I called for one plant pot to be picked up because I couldn't do it and the company came back out. Was told the movers should have taken my TVs and pots. Took them eight hours for a two bedroom. Then about 5 hours of my time to coordinate the drywall contractor and all the other hassles of a no show from him. Beyond unprofessional and the contractor lying he didn't give me a time when I had witnesses that he did give me a time, and he didn't show Then the company questioning me! Royalty scheduled a video walkthrough to assess the items that needed to be moved, the parking situation, and the presence of stairs, among other factors, to provide a quote. I then got Nicole on the phone, who asked for the 2 addresses to be able to finalize the estimate. Once confirmed, I was assigned 3 movers and a rough number of hours (they ended up needing less). He clearly explained everything, worked quickly, and handled the majority of the heavy lifting. If it were just him, this would be a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, his partner did not show the same level of care or urgency. While Nick took multiple large loads, his partner consistently carried only the smallest items and handled my belongings carelessly. He dropped half of my sectional couch off the truck and tossed fragile boxes on top of each other. I'm now concerned that I will find damaged items when unpacking. Overall, very satisfied with my service! I would definitely recommend them to any movers, and would personally contact them again for future services! My situation: I requested service to move from my family home to a single-bedroom apartment in Redmond. I had pre-packed and moved most of my belongings into a central area for easy handling. While they do offer packing services (included), I wanted to 1) save time and 2) separate my things from my family's. I had about 10 larger items (like a couch, cat tower, tv, etc.) and about 10 medium items (air purifiers, garbage can, bedside tables, etc.). In total, I had about 25 boxes (mostly medium, some small, few large). I had 1 crate of food/perishables which they offered to take as well. Something I did to also save time and keep me organized: I color coded my boxes. When we arrived at the move-in location, they put the boxes and furniture in the corresponding rooms by their color (red=kitchen, green=living, etc.) The move: Stellar! They were respectful and careful with all my furniture, boxes, and other items. I don't think I had a single scratch on any walls or floors during move out or in. There was one instance where they accidentally broke one of my dresser legs, but they fixed it right way. They also set up my bed frame for me (which was new and still in its packaging). They also helped me organize a bit--putting rugs down and arranging my desk, arranging the tv and couch in the proper places, that kind of stuff. In total, it took 4.5 hours to complete the move, and I was rated at $129/hr. Issues: Of course, I did have some minor issues, but they were very subjective. Most of the issues revolve around timing. In particular, my communications with their office agent, Nicole, was kind of weird. Every time she said she's call or send me something, it wouldn't happen on time. These don't usually bother me, but thought I'd add it to cover the whole experience. She was very nice, and the entire team was great to work with though, so it barely registers. Also, this might be an issue for others, but the team got my moving date wrong (they came a day early). I was all packed and ready-to-go so I was happy, but I can imagine that'd be hard for others. They did say that they were sorry and that they could come the proper day if I wasn't ready, but I was like "No, come over, I'm ready!" read more

For Seattle residents, the rate is not worth the headache and you'll end up paying twice as much for the slow and inefficient service. I had a move from a 3 bedroom townhouse to a 3 bedroom single story home within 5 miles. I used Royalty only to move larger items, meaning there were no boxes, there were no packing of small items, no clothes, or wardrobes, it was only for larger items such as a single bed frame, floor mirrors, dining table, chairs, etc. This took the crew of 3 more than 5hrs to complete, and this includes me telling them not to assemble a bed frame they took apart and tried twice to assemble and couldn't put back together. During this entire move I have had two major arguments with the crew. 1) they were unwilling to take my TV at first glance saying it was "too new" and I would have to purchase a box so it could be moved specially (it's a 3 year old Sony tv) and after arguing they finally were willing to take it. 2) they took 40 minutes assembling a queen size bed frame, only to do it incorrectly and was trying to spend another hour to reassemble it and I had to stop them and argue with them to just leave it since they didn't even unwrap all the other furniture items from the tapes and blankets at the 4th hour mark. The office was decent enough to take an hour off the total move, but they argued that it takes more than 6hrs to do a move such as this. My partner had a move from a 2 bedroom home, with packing, clothes, many boxes and large furniture items from TACOMA to Seattle all done in less than 3 hrs. For all Seattle residents, go with another company cause they will do whatever it takes to charge more money, damage and trash and trek mud everywhere in your old and new home in the process. read more
