The Gold Standard for Digital Piano Repair…read more Chuck McIntyre proved highly capable, in more ways than one, when I trusted my Kawai digital piano to him to get bad parts replaced. When good parts finally arrived from Kawai, he prioritized my piano, as previous mfr. mistakes had already delayed the work, and got it back to me in perfect working condition. Prior to receiving the good parts, he intervened with the mfr. to press on them that they needed to get ahold of themselves and stop their chain of mistakes that caused problems for both Chuck and me. When you need this kind of specialized help, look to Chuck McIntyre.

My instructor, who teaches at Rosewood, helped me select my Alhambra. He played a few guitars for me so that I had an opportunity to hear the guitars from the listener's perspective. Because I know that the other instructors at Rosewood are some of the best in Washington, I would imagine they are also qualified in helping others select a guitar. I thought it was great to let someone with more expertise than myself greatly narrow my search, though I still made the final decision. My budget expectations were also respected. I would highly recommend Rosewood for the purchase of a guitar or accessories. More importantly, this is also a great place to take lessons from a highly regarded instructor!

It's been half a year since I bought the piano, and it has been tuned four times. The last tuning was just over 20 days ago, and the keys sank again. Steinway's manager and turner told us this is a climate-related issue, and all pianos, no matter what brand or type, are susceptible to issues like this, especially new piano. I've consulted many professionals, new pianos don't have this problem so often. What disappointed me the most is Steinway's attitude towards the matter, they didn't admit it was a quality issue and told me it was a common problem with new pianos. I trust Steinway and his quality and service, but I am very disappointed with their attitude and approach to problems! Update: Steinway is stepping in, hope the issue can be resolved.
