I had a truly excellent experience with Classic Pianos and recommend them without reservation. I…read morecame in search of a rehearsal piano with very specific requirements: something suitable for a rental situation, capable of silent practice with headphones, yet--above all--an instrument with genuinely good action. As a pianist returning to conservatory-level study after years of gigging, proper action is not a luxury for me; it is the foundation upon which all serious work is built. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hybrid pianos offered at Classic Pianos. The hammer action is responsive, musical, and deeply satisfying--impressively close to an acoustic experience. While nothing replaces a grand, this instrument is an outstanding solution for a renter needing rigorous daily practice and keeping one's technique in shape. Hui was a pleasure to work with throughout the process: knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely attentive. She made everything easy and stress-free from start to finish. Since the piano arrived, I've been playing far more than I intended--which may be the clearest sign that the right choice was made. Classic Pianos did such a good job that my neighbors may soon need to leave them a review as well.

I visited all of the piano stores in the Seattle area and tried a lot of pianos looking for just the right instrument, so I encountered a lot of different situations. At Classic Pianos, James made me feel welcome to spend as much time as I needed playing the pianos. He checked in from time to time to answer questions or tell me about the models, but mostly kept out of my way. He has a background as a piano technician, and was able to speak really clearly to the technical differences between the instruments I was considering. His sales style was very gentle and not pushy, which I really appreciated. I've been really happy with the piano I selected, but I did find a small mechanical defect with the bench a week or two after delivery. Classic Pianos resolved this promptly by replacing the bench. James himself made time to come pick it up at my house and bring the replacement. I have been nothing but impressed, and would highly recommend it.

I decided to check them out, emailed their owner Ken and I set up a time to meet their Sales person - Yelena. Yelena was very nice to play a number of pianos for me and we finalized on one and She gave me a good price (We did go to and forth a bit, but in the end She gave me a great deal). Before I came here, I checked other stores in Bellevue for pianos and their prices was almost 30% more (maybe because of the high Bellevue rent). Delivery was smooth and they always kept me updated. I am thankful to Yelp and Google for helping me find Stage 7. I would strongly recommend anybody buying a piano to go buy in Stage 7. Also during the sale when I was browsing, I felt no pressure to buy a specific piano. Yelena gave me her feedback and left me to decide. In addition I did check with another Customer on the store and it did match the feedback given by Yelena. When I upgrade, I will go back to Stage 7 and upgrade. Finally I like the All Inclusive price which includes Tax, delivery, bench and 1 free tuning. It let me straight away to know, what I needed to pay.

When it was sold, first the lies continued by not informing me of the sale, then on receiving the money, 2 months of lies waiting to be paid. Kenn used every dirty lie in the book. It was horrific and despicable. I hope everything he deserves comes back to him ten fold.

I called ahead to ask if I can bring in my trumpet for an estimate for services. 2. I got there, got an estimate for services. I was also informed that I would be notified if the cost would be greater. 3. I did get a phone call that the trumpet for the most part was done but there were other issues (which I knew existed when I first had it over two decades ago) which could be resolved but it'd cost extra. I agreed to it. I figured if I'm going to get it serviced, I should just pay to get it serviced in full and the right way. The communications were timely and transparent. Looking around the place reminds you of a music store Mr. Rogers would have visited. I'm happy there is a brick-and-mortar shop that still performs this craft of repairing instruments. Also, out of all the years I've played this old Yamaha trumpet, it never played so great as it does now. It pays to have a professional service. Of note, best time to go here is in the morning if you drive because there's a good chance you'll find free 2 hour parking.
