I'll start by saying that while the outside appearance starts out questionable, the inside does not disappoint. It's such a creative and beautiful setup that they've come up with. I will say that the chairs to the high table are very uncomfortable-- lol if you hips, you're not going to be comfy. And it was hard to push the chair in once seated. Now.. the service was very slow I will say. The waitress was pleasant, but the experience was really slow. It took roughly 40 minutes to get our food. Thankfully, we weren't in a rush and just enjoyed each others company while we waited, but there was quite a wait. I also attribute this to them still being fairly new and working through the kinks -- so I give them grace. I would recommend they put some bread or something on the table is the wait time is going to be a trend. ONLY because the food was actually good will I give them a second chance. While it did come out cold, I can see that the flavor was there. We got simple meals, but the eggs were well seasoned and the roasted lemonade was good. When I went they weren't serving alcohol but are waiting on the license to be able to do so. That probably would've helped as well being able to drink and sip something. In saying this, I would give them ONE more try in a few weeks just to see if it's picked up. This spot has potential so I'll be going back. read more

Really I wish there were two ways to "star" places. The decor and atmosphere were 3/4 starts all day. Very creative the way they set things up. Definitely unique. But the food, even while creative, was 1 star. We got the butter candle which is a totally unique dish; I've never seen anything like that before. But the execution was a miss - no flavor, and served with rock hard croissants. Also got the deviled eggs, which was $12 for three. That's $4 per half an egg. Which maybe I could forgive if they were wildly delicious. But they were not, they were bland. My burger was advertised as a wagyu smash burger. It was neither. Wasn't smashed, and certainly wasn't wagyu. Overcooked and hard, I struggled to choke it down. Served with store bought shoestring potatoes. My son's "aioli" on his, I'm about 90% sure was miracle whip. Aioli my ass. My wife only ate half her sandwich, and I'm pretty sure the rest will end up with the dog. The contrast between the creativeness of the surroundings/menu, and the quality of the food was striking. Too bad, I really wanted to like this place based on how it looked. But the food was unfortunately below average. read more

Campfired is a unique place that needs to be seen to believed. As other reviews mention, the location is in the middle of a large office building. The exceptionally-long entrance hallway feels like a portal into a liminal space. The dining room is carved out of an atrium. It is cozy and nicely-decorated, but the whole thing feels a little uncanny. We found the service to be efficient, functional, and a little quiet. Sandwiches were delicious (we had a couple of burgers and a Cubano at our table). For the price, portion sizes are small, and the sandwiches are begging for a legitimate side item. Fries or some house-made chips would be brilliant, as scrounging up little matchstick potatoes wasn't my favorite. This place is really one of a kind, and the food has potential. If anything, the odd space is worth a visit for a unique experience. read more

The restaurant is located far back in the office building. Walking towards the restaurant is like walking toward a jungle safari tent. Ambience, decor with canvas material for the tents and plants create a cozy environment. The wait staff were very friendly and warm. The menu is small and incorporated breakfast and lunch items. I ordered the Wagyu smash burger and it came with either potato chips or potato sticks. I wish that fries were an option . The burger tasted like a regular burger. You can tell it was made freshly. My friend ordered the Buffalo which came with chips and a side of the macaroni and cheese. She described the sandwich as good but was not impressed with the macaroni and cheese. read more

We decided to try campfired at Florista today, in a little unexpected spot within a business park on MLK. On the floor of the hallway as we walked toward the restaurant- it read " the Hallway of Dreams", and this, indeed, turned out to be 100% accurate. Campfired has truly redefined hospitality. You walk in a customer, and leave as family. From the "tiny pancakes" to the "smoke" burger, to the truffle wagyu deviled eggs- we quickly realized that we had found a favorite brunch spot. The drinks- with house made syrups- were next level and BEYOND. The surroundings made us feel like we were a hundred miles away from home, work, and the busyness of life. Campfired is not just a restaurant. It is a multi-sensory experience that you do NOT want to miss. Would it be weird if we brought our sleeping bags next time? Thank you to the lovely staff at Campfired for a ten star experience. See you soon! read more

This place is a short lived flashy fad. Upon any further inspection, it proves to be AI slop reincarnated as a restaurant. Hostesses and waitresses were rotating to the back tent to talk to the Front of House manager. Just know that as you are waiting 40 minutes for your table, the hostess is doing '6,7,6,7' in the back. On to the food... my goodness was it overpriced. $16 for a croissant that wasn't even warm. It was the exact same croissant I buy from Winn Dixie in the 6 pack plastic container. It came with chocolate frosting in a cup that was oddly on fire so it was burnt. And two pieces of fruit. They cut my grape in half, y'all. It's that serious. The Pollo was good but it was 90% RICE. The rose they give you in the beginning (only to women) is not enough compensation for the HOUR AND A HALF and money we spent there. Only redeeming aspect was the Cafe con Leche & it took 20 minutes to receive it. read more

Cool idea. Meal mediocre. Buffalo Deviled Eggs - Not bad. French toast - Not worth it. Mini Pancakes - Absolutely NOT. Smash Burger - OK. Comes with potato chip sticks...no fries. Also....a lot of dying plants. Not the lush garden in the pictures. Interesting experience. Service was decent. Not likely to return. Food not worth it. read more

3.5 would be more accurate here. Wow! This place is unique! I would never have found it in a million years if not for people promoting it on Tik Tok and Instagram. My friend and made a reservation for brunch here on Sunday. First off, it is off the beaten path over by the fairgrounds and casino in an office building. It essentially is in the atrium of this office facility. There is plenty of parking and when you come in you have to go down a long hallway which really gives you the urge to run. Once you get to the atrium, it is truly gorgeous. They have assembled a tent city (nice one) and lighting is ethereal. We checked in and were told that though we had a reservation, we had to wait because people were just hanging out at our table. They told me 10 mins but it ended up being 25, not cool. However, we contented ourselves taking gorgeous photos and taking in the decor. Once we were seated we were blown away by the menu and the cocktails offered. Everything looked good and our table made us feel like we were glamping. The issues were the service. It was incredibly slow. Maybe they're still new and working out the kinks?? Also, there was some trouble splitting the bill where the server was getting a bit flustered. We ordered some cocktails, the butter candle with croissants (to die for) the avocado deviled eggs (tasty but small portions) and a breakfast sandwich (nice size). Everything was delicious but pricey for the appetizers. I recommend if they don't do this already, renting out the place for small rehearsal dinners for weddings or receptions. A photographer would have a field day! read more

Aesthetics very good. Menu items and entrée are bit misleading. Verify with your server before placing your order. The tea was brewed to perfection and the pressed lemonade. Definitely felt like summer. read more

So we really wanted to like this establishment. You see the great photos of the food and it makes you want to stop in. The creativity of the establishment makes it looks like an oasis lots of plants leading into the seating area. So for ambiance it's a yes, the service is also a yes. But food its a huge NO! We tried a bit of everything Roasted potatoes were undercooked, the sandwiches weren't nothing that stands out. Publix would probably do better. The mini pancakes our son enjoyed. The campfired breakfast was okay but no seasoning no flavor no nothing. Orange juice says freshly squeezed but we got Tropicana bottles (go figure) our waitress English wasn't clear so a lot of mix up on what we wanted compared to what we got. I will say the Japanese dip was very tasty but the idea of serving it with pretzels was a no no. The potential this place can be depends on management. The menu wants to be upscale but the cooks says otherwise. The people who love this place is because the hype of it but when you pay attention to the food it's nothing appealing. At this rate you can say another 2 years this establishment will be a thing of the past unless they get the right chemistry in that kitchen. read more

Was on the fence to try it because of the lack of info on it. But we did- and im glad we did. The deviled eggs are sooooo good! The drinks are good! The owner is really nice and easy on the eyes. lol. The hostess could use some work on training as this is your first impression and encounter of the restaurant. Our server Brandy was a little preoccupied with her tables but in the end she recovered the service process and she's sweet so you can overlook it. We will be back. The aesthetics of this place are so cute!! read more

A little tricky to find, but worth it. The interior is beautiful--so magical I almost wanted to run through the halls dressed like a fairy! The food was delicious and the drinks were strong. We got the Wagyu Druffel deviled eggs and the candlelight croissant. Both were delicious. I got a $9 sandwich and was full. I'll be back to try their breakfast sandwiches/burritos, which are what they are known for. My only suggestion is adding incense or aromatherapy as the perfect finishing touch. While the flowers everywhere are lovely, the space is so large that incorporating scent would really elevate the sensory experience. read more

I've visited this restaurant twice, and unfortunately my most recent experience was disappointing. When we arrived for our reservation, we were informed only ten minutes beforehand that there was a special Valentine's Day menu requiring a $55 per person minimum. This was significantly more expensive than their regular menu, and it would have been helpful to know in advance. We had a reservation for 14 people, but it took over an hour to be seated. By the time we were finally offered a table, the restaurant was closing in about an hour, which made the delay even more frustrating. The seating itself was also uncomfortable. The chairs were designed to swivel, but they didn't rotate fully, which was oddly irritating throughout the wait. Based on my previous visit, the food is decent, but given the long delay and the circumstances, we ended up leaving before ordering. read more

I will give them credit for a cool concept, but the food was comparable to stadium food and the drink menu was very limited. The vibe with all the plants surrounding you could have been very cool, but most of them were dead so it just seemed kinda creepy. Service was average; nothing bad happened, but I will also, would it say anybody was particularly friendly. read more

Excellent food and I'm very picky! The service is hopefully improving as time goes on. The music is really obnoxious and speakers are blaring behind guests at some of the tables. I ordered coffee and it had about 10 cups of sugar in it and I don't like sugar in my drinks. The waitress was annoyed and made it again but it came back with sugar in the froth so I didn't drink it. The details are missed and a bit of a busy gardens touristy vibe which downgrades it a bit which isn't needed. But the food was so good I'll be back and will request better seating. read more

This fell short for me. First I was expecting this lush flowery - planty oasis of a dining space and almost every plant in the place was dead. It's like they took the pics for instagram and then never bothered to water them. They were still in the temporary plastic pots. Dead. That was off putting. And be prepared for a hella walk. Yes it's in an office building but really really far back. We ordered the garlic butter candle bread and were underwhelm when a wick was place in the center of chilled butter. I think they ran out of bread for French toast cause the same seeded bread the garlic butter came with was the same little circular medallions the fresh toast was made of. Now - I blame myself for ordering the skirt steak cheesesteak- it looked good but was uneditable because the meat was so tough. If you don't know - outside skirt steak is the better tender cut - I think they gave me inside skirt. Plus you should run it through a tenderizer - but I digress. My mom had the wagyu cheeseburger and I promise you that was ground beef. Someone told me they had the best espresso martini and it wasn't. And, I like sweet drinks. I even get my coffee extra sweet. This tasted like someone made a mistake - it was cloyingly sweet. I didn't drink it. We paid the bill and said "instagram got us again". Here's a clue - I forgot to take pics and I snap everything!!! read more

Very interesting location, inside an office/corporate plaza. You enter a long hallway leading to the front of the restaurant which has cute tropical decor within the restaurant, great for pictures. I was at a table of 4, our waitress was decent how receiving food and drinks took quite a while. About 8-10 mins for the drinks & 35-40 mins to receive our entrees. There is a rather limited menu when it comes to entrees. The steak (ordered medium rare) and eggs were underwhelming. Steak was slightly over cooked. Overall it was a cool experience but would most likely not return. read more

For starters, Campfired needs better management, a person who knows how to talk professionally and interact with guests. Upon arrival, a trip to the ladies room displayed a bathroom in need of major attention which I advised the hostess. Such a beautiful ambiance but the vibe was destroyed by the long wait to be seated. We had a 11:30am reservation and seated at 1215p. We were told my a fizzled out manager that our reservation did not guarantee what time we would be seated, something I've never heard of. Finally after being seated, we had to ask our server for the standard butter/croissants that was part of the only designated menu for group booking. I accepted this upon making reservations but my breakfast sandwich choice was a disaster with over toasted bread, which I asked to be replaced and server charged me for replacement. We could only select from a designated menu for $35 but with add on surcharges and gratuities, suddenly I was presented a $51 check!! We could not order from the regular menu and basically, the group menu was just a sandwich, a mocktail and shared croissants, NO dessert! This is by far the most expensive breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten!! Another lady received a burnt Waygu burger and the logic given by server was thats the way they come. Flimsy excuses, nothing made sense. Being an observant person, the non-relaxed posture and lack of confidence in some staff members, is a reflection of poor management. As the person recommending this establishment, I was certainly disappointed as my brunch group was there celebrating 3 birthdays. I noticed a nearby table receiving a flower and inquired for our 3 birthday ladies but was told by server, "we're out of flowers". Nor any birthday desserts for the 3. Our brunch group meets monthly and this is by far the worst experience to date. If Campfired cannot accommodate a small group of 10 properly, then don't accept group booking. I cannot in good conscious, recommend this establishment nor will I ever return to Campfired. cc: @callanthonyreviews read more

I loved the relaxed, thoughtfully designed vibe at Campfired. Soft background music creates a calming atmosphere, and the decor feels like an indoor oasis. This is in the middle of other business sites but there were no interruptions from them that impacted my experience. Parking is in a professional plaza so plenty of space. I visited around 10a.m. when it wasn't busy--though there was no host at the front, I found my friend easily. There's plenty of seating, including picnic tables and a bar area. One unique thing to me is that they do not fry anything which I thought was pretty on par with their theme. I tried the roasted lemonade, which tasted mostly of bitter lemon peel and wasn't for me. For food, I had the pancakes (a small portion, as the server mentioned) and parmesan potatoes, which could've used more seasoning beyond the cheese. Service was friendly but quite slow, even though there were only a few tables occupied. If you're on a schedule, it might help to mention that when you arrive. Overall, I'd come back to try more food and have a moment to relax. The atmosphere and cleanliness really make it an inviting spot. read more

Beautiful restaurant. Tucked away in a corporate building. Brunch was delicious. The deviled eggs are a must.

Any restaurant that uses AI photos in their advertisements has immediately lost my respect. The prices are also extremely high for what you actually get, which is basically cafeteria food. I will say the food on the pictures kind of hype up what it actually is, but my partner said the boat was flavorful(it just looked nothing like the picture). HONEST REVIEW: To enter, you have to walk to the very center of the convention center which is a really long hallway and other businesses are located inside, which were very visually misleading and there isn't a sign that says please waited to be seated or please wait for hostess. We were confused where to go until we saw an employee that sat us. We were sat at a table with dirty placemats that had crumbs all over them, we had to dust them off ourselves. Our server was very standoffish, didn't really offer any pleasantries and huffed multiple times (especially when I asked for a different menu) Toward the end of our meal, she seemed a little better but it didn't really do anything to make us change our opinion or dining experience as it was practically over at that point. FOOD: An extreme case of Expectation VS Reality. From the pictures posted by the business to what you actually receive is an insane difference, felt like we were catfished. We were immediately given a drink menu and their brunch menu which we were confused about because it was extremely small and didn't have any of their other meals or what was pictured on their photos online. The older couple behind us informed us that they weren't pleased with their meal. They told us to ask for their other menu, the campfire menu, because it has way more items listed. They told us that the Arroz Con Polo meal that they ordered barely had any chicken and it was $26 for a gigantic plate of rice. When they told the server of the issue, she told them that she wanted to make sure that they were happy with their meal and then a different server handled the rest of their lunch and payment. The other server sat down at the table and when they told her what they expected vs what they got "the menu doesn't state I'm going to get a large plate of rice with small pieces of chicken, I was expecting a large chicken served with rice" the server told her "well the menu doesn't say that it's going to be a large chicken". They were also confused about the menus as we were and told the server because they had eaten at this location last week and had no issues (they were given the campfire menu at the beginning of their meal but this time they were only given the brunch menu) but the server informed them, "we began a new process 2 days ago which caters to both classes, the people who are eating the florista experience will be placed in the dining room and those that want the budget friendly option campfire menu will be placed on the outside". First off, the brunch menu is more expensive than their campfire menu and there are sides that are the exact same on the "budget friendly" menu that cost almost double the price. My husband said that the best part of his meal was the ruffles chips which tasted like from a bag, the Ember sandwich tastes thrown together and nothing special, he said it tastes like something he would throw together and make at home, for example store bought hamburger bun and ruffles chips. I had the campfire breakfast which is $19 on the brunch menu but cheaper on the campfire menu for the EXACT SAME THING. The meal itself was nothing exceptional, 2 eggs, potatoes, sourdough bread and bacon, the potatoes were the only thing that really "stood out". We also had the espresso martini, the marigold cocktail and the cheesesteak deviled eggs ($15 for 3 deviled eggs). Our drinks were good but tasted like zero alcohol was in them; expected more for the price. The deviled eggs were fine. If it was just an experience that's supposed to be visually appealing then maybe I would understand but the location of the restaurant is kind of in the middle of nowhere in a random convention center and the food was pretty mediocre and didn't taste very special compared to the visual aesthetic of the dining area. If you're selling an "experience" make it known what people are coming for, more marketing, signs etc. Additionally, the food should be well worth the money and match the pictures that the business itself posted! read more

I got the wagyu smash burger. The burger itself was fantastic! However, the potato sticks surrounding the burgers were meh. The plate would have been better with real fries. Service is great! Poorly run establishment that doesn't honor reservations. We made a reservation and were still told it would be a 30-minute wait. When we questioned the point of having a reservation, the hostess said they operate on a "first come, first serve" basis--while also confirming they do take reservations. That contradiction says it all. We then asked to sit at the bar and were told it was full, again emphasizing "first come, first serve." Moments later, seats opened up and when we tried to take them, we were told someone else was waiting. The entire experience was disorganized and frustrating. Definitely needs better management and clearer policies. read more

The design of this place is on point. Everything else though, from the food to the drink fell flat. It's like they had someone come design it but didn't hire the restaurant consultant. We had the truffle and the avocado and lemon deviled eggs. They were ok. The meals we had were the veg burrito and the Philly cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was pretty bland. It was fine but not great. The veg burrito was actually good. This could be so much more with a strong restaurant consultant and some efficiency improvements. Service was super duper slow also. It felt like our server hadn't been there long and hadn't served much before that. Also they were out of orange juice. It's a brunch place. Go to Sam's and get some orange juice.
