    Chips, salsas, guacamole

This lovely restaurant is at the top of a beautiful hotel. The patio seating juts you out into a nearly 300 degree view of Tampa, St Petersburg, and the bay. It's a delight to sit up there. The interior of the restaurant and waiting area are also gorgeous -- welcoming lobby with beautiful art as you enter and cozy indoor seating area as well with stunning overhead lamps that look like manta rays. We loved the chips and salsa especially and the guacamole is also very good. The mixed green salad with roasted chicken was very good (and trust me that I'm not a salad booster) and the pollo al pastor tacos were my favorite. They were super juicy and the pineapple was a fun addition.

What an amazing restaurant! I was your first vacation and decided to take advantage of the rooftop restaurant with amazing use of the Tampa Bay Bay area. My server, I believe her name was Caroline, with seller. Typical encourage me to try new things in her breakfast were great. I ordered the queso, chicken paillard, and churros. All were great. Because I was a guest at the hotel I even received a snack that was prepared by the chef. It was something like pickled watermelon and a cream sauce that sounded weird, but it was stellar!

Unfortunately due to the rain, we were unable to be seated / make our reservation. We arrived for a sunset dinner and per the manager / host "the rain caused 75% of the restaurant seating area to be rained out." We were willing to wait but the wait would be 1.5 hours ... for a 6pm reservation - they shared they'd be able to accommodate us at 8:30 / 9pm.. We decided to put our names down anyways but never received a call. We instead went down stairs to the hotel bar (not to be confused with the Julian) and enjoyed a nice meal. Although the kitchen was backed up downstairs the bartender Stephan worked hard to accommodate the busy bar area. We have plans to return to casa cami next month, fingers crossed it's not a rainy day!

I absolutely loved Casa Cami the Food was amazing but the atmosphere was what really made it worth it to me! The restaurant is located on the rooftop of a hotel and they had live music playing the ambiance was such a vibe and you have a GORGEOUS view of the water and perfect place to watch the sunset! If you go you have to get the nutella flautas for desert they are on the brunch menu and they are amazinggggggg! I will definitely be back

The vibes, the food, the drinks everything was 10/10. The view is great - wish it wasn't so windy/ gloomy on the day we came but we were still able to catch a rainbow! Great time - would return back.

I loved the food, the ambiance, everything about this place! Sadly you can only get a table if you have a reservation which Scott was very rude to us for not having one. That was the only downside of our experience. We sat at the bar with Monica who was AMAZING!! She is the fastest bartender I have ever seen here in Tampa Bay! I have the tuna tostados and the elote they were both amazing! I ended it with the churros which were out of this world!

I think most people already know the view here is stunning. However, because it was windy when we arrived, we were told our reservation had been pushed back anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. They had closed the outdoor area and were backed up as a result. Apparently, this isn't uncommon. My friends have dealt with this issue here before. Parking is either valet or in the garage, and either way, you'll be paying. Thankfully, we only ended up waiting about 30 minutes since some tables opened up earlier than expected, but it was still an inconvenience. The first thing I noticed when we sat down was that all of our glasses were dirty to some extent (old lipstick marks, random smudges) and even the water had visible particles in it, including what looked like dust. I asked for new glasses, but unfortunately, the replacements had the same issue. Not sure what's going on there. I started off with a hazelnut latte, which was hot and delicious. I was very pleased with how rich this latte was with oat milk. For my meal, I ordered the snapper a la plancha which came with pepita mole, roasted tomato, and shaved fennel. At $34, it was just okay but the flavor was lacking. I did appreciate it was served hot. That said, our server was very kind and handled our party of 10 really well. Great service! If I came back, it would be for the view on a day when the weather allows outdoor seating...and I'd probably stick to coffee.

The ambience and decor here deserve 5 stars. On the top floor of the hotel they feature outdoor seating and great views of the water. We went on a windy Saturday and they seated right by the hot lamps under the shade. The whole outdoor patio was filled. We ordered everything from the short rib tacos, burritos tacos, fries, tuna tostada, queso dip and the margarita pitcher. All of the flavors were on point. The short rib was tender and they gave us some nice thick cuts. We loved how fresh the tuna was. The pitcher was strong for a party of 3. Definitely recommend making reservations in advance and be mindful of the weather.

Casa Cami has an amazing vibe and is such a fun spot to dine at. The margaritas were unique and really good, though not very strong. The queso was the highlight of the table, absolutely delicious and a must-order!! We tried the chicken flautas, which were good, but the chicken tacos were even better. The steak tacos were amazing and easily the standout entrée. We ended with churros for dessert, which were awesome, and the service throughout the night was great.

The views here alone are worth a visit. It's like a personal watch party for the planes landing and taking off at TPA. If you're there at golden hour/ sunset you're guaranteed some beautiful photos too. I loved that everyone was dressed to impress. The food was incredible, we had ceviche, guacamole, steak tacos, and a shrimp quesadillas. Don't get me wrong, these were highly elevated dishes! Our waitress was attentive and kind, but be sure to make a reservation because we heard the family in front of us that it would be a 1.5 hour wait.

I came here on a date with my boo and it was my first time. The food was spot on! Super delicious and everything tasted fresh. My favorite was the flautas and the fajitas. The meat fell off the bone into pieces and had amazing flavor. The flautas were super crispy and had great seasoning. The ambiance was super dope. I loved the view of the city paired with the delicious margarita. The service was okay. That is the only thing that lacked. They were super busy and did not attend as much but overall, I would be back for the food and views.

Just perfect, it was freezing out an they took care of use with blankets and a fire heater! It was my girlfriend's birthday they also treated us to free desert. But to talk about the food I loved the flavor would definitely go back super nice location!

Casa Cami is such a super cute Spanish-style restaurant located on the 10th floor of a hotel, and the views are absolutely stunning. You can look out over the water and even see the Howard Frankland Bridge as well as the airplanes going by. I came here for lunch on a Sunday, and it was the perfect way to spend my last day in Tampa. The staff was friendly and our waiter was very nice, which really added to the experience. For food, I ordered the shrimp quesadillas. They were okay. I'll give them about a 7/10 in my opinion, but the guacamole was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, I'm happy I finally checked this place off my list. Between the gorgeous views, relaxing atmosphere, and excellent service, Casa Cami made my last day in Tampa feel like a celebration.

I positioned myself on the back deck for dinner right before sunset. I started with three broiled oysters in a classic topping of spinach garlic butter ($14). They were wholly delicious. Maybe I should have passed on the St Augustine Clam Chowder ($13), a bowl of lukewarm tomato based broth with datil pepper, pancetta and diced vegetables including potatoes. The highlight was to be a fried clam fritter- a clam golf ball that waded in the broth, like a beach ball in the pool. It was too fried to absorb the liquid and required a knife or a stab from the soup spoon to break it apart. Bits of clam were now exposed to a soggy mass of fried batter. Ugh. The jerk chicken entree ($34) was too much money for too little moistness and real Jamaican jerk flavors. Bits of papaya, mango and peanuts were around the piece of chicken. Sides of cilantro white rice and slaw accompanied the chicken but didn't do much to salvage the bird. Just meh. Service was prompt and friendly. So maybe the sunset serves well to distract from the menu.

Good thing I did because the burger was totally rare on the inside. In the meantime, I decided to eat my side of couscous and discovered there was hair in couscous. I informed the server and she took the dish to the back. The manager did come to the table and was apologetic about the undercooked burger.
