My friend had the chicken al pastor tacos, which were incredible, and I ordered the chicken quesadilla. Hands down the best quesadilla I've ever had. The drinks were just as impressive. I asked for a cocktail I had seen mentioned in reviews but didn't see on the menu, and our server had it made perfectly without hesitation. My friend also had a custom drink made to her liking. We came here for a Sunday brunch, we made a reservation but about 2 hours before coming in. We were seated immediately. We sat outside, the view was gorgeous. Food was absolutely fantastic, we had ceviche, tuna tostada, chicken tacos, and garden salad. Portions were large and we had plenty of food. They also have a nice zero proof menu. Our waitress was nice however the lady who brought the food wasn't nice at all. The parking is probably the biggest con of this place, but overall definitely a nice place to have an adult meal. Still an overall great experience. Parking is in the parking garage, it is $10 for less than four hours, the restaurant does not validate. Even on a Monday night it was packed. I was told we got the last table for four inside. Outside was completely taken, even though it was incredibly windy and looked like rain. That is probably because the view is breathtaking. The decor inside is also beautiful though. This is a place where people dress up, I saw a lot of young women in really trendy outfits, so if you want a ladies night out, this is one where you can break out one of your favorite looks. We got the margarita Board, which is a pitcher of margarita that serves four and a plate of a ton of fresh fruit to put in your margaritas. It was almost like a build your own sangria, but with margarita. I thought it was a fun experience, I'm not sure if it's worth the extra money for the fruit board then if you just go with a pitcher of margarita, but it does make for a beautiful picture. We got every dip, which was the three salsa, queso, and guacamole. The guacamole was my favorite. It came with chunky avocado. The trio of salsa have a kick to it. The case it was pretty good. We then tried all the tacos. My favorite is the mushroom. I wasn't expecting it to be lightly fried, but it was absolutely delicious. I found the meat dry for the chicken and steak. I don't eat pork. So if I was to come back and get tacos, I would definitely get the mushroom ones. The service was super friendly. This lovely restaurant is at the top of a beautiful hotel. The patio seating juts you out into a nearly 300 degree view of Tampa, St Petersburg, and the bay. It's a delight to sit up there. The interior of the restaurant and waiting area are also gorgeous -- welcoming lobby with beautiful art as you enter and cozy indoor seating area as well with stunning overhead lamps that look like manta rays. We loved the chips and salsa especially and the guacamole is also very good. Unfortunately due to the rain, we were unable to be seated / make our reservation. We arrived for a sunset dinner and per the manager / host "the rain caused 75% of the restaurant seating area to be rained out." We were willing to wait but the wait would be 1.5 hours ... for a 6pm reservation - they shared they'd be able to accommodate us at 8:30 / 9pm.. We decided to put our names down anyways but never received a call. We instead went down stairs to the hotel bar (not to be confused with the Julian) and enjoyed a nice meal. Although the kitchen was backed up downstairs the bartender Stephan worked hard to accommodate the busy bar area. The ambience and decor here deserve 5 stars. On the top floor of the hotel they feature outdoor seating and great views of the water. We went on a windy Saturday and they seated right by the hot lamps under the shade. The whole outdoor patio was filled. We ordered everything from the short rib tacos, burritos tacos, fries, tuna tostada, queso dip and the margarita pitcher. All of the flavors were on point. I think most people already know the view here is stunning. However, because it was windy when we arrived, we were told our reservation had been pushed back anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. They had closed the outdoor area and were backed up as a result. Apparently, this isn't uncommon. My friends have dealt with this issue here before. Parking is either valet or in the garage, and either way, you'll be paying. Thankfully, we only ended up waiting about 30 minutes since some tables opened up earlier than expected, but it was still an inconvenience. The first thing I noticed when we sat down was that all of our glasses were dirty to some extent (old lipstick marks, random smudges) and even the water had visible particles in it, including what looked like dust. I asked for new glasses, but unfortunately, the replacements had the same issue. Not sure what's going on there. I started off with a hazelnut latte, which was hot and delicious. I was very pleased with how rich this latte was with oat milk. For my meal, I ordered the snapper a la plancha which came with pepita mole, roasted tomato, and shaved fennel. At $34, it was just okay but the flavor was lacking. I did appreciate it was served hot. That said, our server was very kind and handled our party of 10 really well. Great service! Casa Cami is such a super cute Spanish-style restaurant located on the 10th floor of a hotel, and the views are absolutely stunning. You can look out over the water and even see the Howard Frankland Bridge as well as the airplanes going by. I came here for lunch on a Sunday, and it was the perfect way to spend my last day in Tampa. The staff was friendly and our waiter was very nice, which really added to the experience. For food, I ordered the shrimp quesadillas. They were okay. I'll give them about a 7/10 in my opinion, but the guacamole was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, I'm happy I finally checked this place off my list. Just wow! The views at this rooftop upscale Mexican restaurant are second to none. I brought my husband here last Sunday night to celebrate his birthday and we loved it. We timed it to arrive at sunset and it didn't disappoint. Lots of cotton candy sky, water views and even a lightning show. You can even see the planes land into TPA. Let me walk you through the experience. One downside is the parking situation. Since this is at rocky point, everything is private, so you can really only park at the hotel. There is valet (not sure of cost) but my husband prefers self-parking. That was about $10 for 4 hours or less. It's kind of strange that you can't simply get it comped for dining at the restaurant, especially since it's not cheap. The hotel itself is gorgeous and we enjoyed strolling through it on our way up. Once you reach the rooftop, it's like you're entering a whole different world, somehow cozy and then very grand. We were seated centrally on the patio, probably to save us from impending rain, but I highly recommend requesting some of the couples tables against the glass for the best view. Our server was phenomenal and so very friendly. I believe his name was Christian? He checked on all of our allergy concerns. We were a little disappointed to learn the guacamole has nuts in some capacity? Be warned as this is highly unusual. We ended up with the salsa trio and the smoky version was our favorite. We just couldn't get enough! I think next time we would try to order that alone. We also tried the classic margarita which was perfectly strong and a Mexican mule that was spicy with Serrano pepper. So unique and refreshing. For mains, we did the churrasco with fries and I had the short rib fajitas which were to die for. Would totally order again, perhaps as a shared plate if you can request more soft tortillas. The corn elote was also a winner. I'm a little conflicted on timing. On one hand it took forever to get our mains--so long that we finished an entire basket of chips and were almost too full for entree. On the other hand, there was zero rushing us and we felt like we never had to leave.
