Let's start with most striking question when you drive up... Am I in the right place? The parking lot is a huge office building with the restaurant sitting inside the center atrium of the building. We had a Sunday brunch reservation for 9 AM so we were the first people in the parking lot and thought that the restaurant didn't exist at first. As you walk down along corridor, you will see subtle signs that lead you to the center atrium where the hostess stand is. The hostess is were super friendly and sat us promptly. The atmosphere in this odd location is absolutely divine. It feels like luxury clamping as you enter and Oasis of Flora and Fana through a small mirrored hallway and led to the center of the restaurant with canvas tips set up, decoratively on the outskirts of the restaurant with beautiful outside decorative lighting the first thing I noticed, as we sat was the deco glassware for the water glasses, and the carafe of water. We started with a cappuccino and a café con Leche in the candle butter croissants! The creative ingenuity to put a wick inside the butter to perfectly melt your croissants was genius. For the entrées, we chose the campfire French toast and the sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwich-I forgot the same of it! The eggs on the sandwich are called French eggs and they are to die for! Fluffy creamy and decadent. We also want everything with cream cheese. Next time would opt pass on the bagel. It was a bit chewy for our liking and perhaps boiled a bit too long- that is if they are making them fresh in house. The service was okay. Nothing wrong, but the server did stand or try to go above and beyond to create an experience to remember. She checked on us regularly with generic "is everything OK?" questions but did not offer dessert or ask if we wanted a second coffee. The cappuccino and cafe con Leche were absolutely delicious. We maybe would have bought a second one if offered. She waited for someone else to clear extra plates off the table and the carafe of water was empty by the end of the meal and it was not offered to be refilled. read more

Horrible experience. We had a reservation for 12:30pm and arrived right on time, only to be told there would still be a 30 mins wait. When I asked what the point of making a reservation was, they said they prioritize walk ins first, which makes absolutely no sense. Completely defeats the purpose of reserving a table. The waitress then said we could sit at the bar, but that it was full. When I went over, there were two open seats, and when I asked if we could sit there, she suddenly said there were people ahead of us. Not sure why she said the bar was first come first serve in the first place. Thankfully, I saw an area called Campfire Cafe that only serves sandwiches, so we ended up going there instead. What a unique space! From the outside, you're unsure what to expect. You walk down a long hallway and at the very end you come to an atrium area where Campfire'd is located. They did a cute job of trying to make this a uniquely themed space. I can see the vision. lol The service and the food are the real highlights though. Our server was attentive and made great recommendations for our first visit. The cocktails were delicious and fresh tasting. We tried the Mint Blossom, Marigold and the Dahlia. For food we tried a few deviled eggs, mini pancakes, the cande butter with croissants, steak quesadilla, and the wagyu smash burger. Everything tasted great! Good flavor and right temperature. While the location is a little strange and off putting, this place definitely deserves a visit! We heard they may be opening up a new location closer to downtown Tampa. Let's go camping...in an office building? I recently checked out Campfired Cafe and the vibes are definitely campy - in a good way. It's not your typical brunch spot - think greenery, picnic tables and a cool tent-inspired facade that makes you forget you're actually in an office building. The highlights: Avocado Lemon Deviled Eggs: 10/10. I would go back just for these! Silver Dollar Pancakes: Tiny, cute and tasty. My server warned me that they are tiny in advance, which I appreciated. You have the option of ordering five or 10. The Space: We sat in a cozy couch area which was great for lounging, thought a bit of a "hike" to the restaurant through the building. The "Nuance": I was most excited for the Croissant and Butter Candle. It's such a cool concept, with a wick sitting in a cast-iron skillet of butter, melting away for that perfect, dippable moment. But unfortunately, our croissants were underbaked in the middle, so we could only enjoy the outer edges. My friend's breakfast bagel was also a bit on the chewy side, so they might still be finding their rhythm with the bakery items. Also, while our server was amazing and so friendly, the experience with the hostess at the start was a bit of an unorganized mess, and it doesn't give the best first impression. Overall, it's an interesting new concept and worth a visit for the unique atmosphere and those deviled eggs. Very cute brunch spot! From the outside,yes it looks like a corporate building but inside was such a nice surprise. Service was very attentive! I loved the deviled eggs and the steak quesadillas were great! However I don't recommend the chicken Caesar salad wrap. It was disappointing because there was barely any chicken or flavor. I'll post the photos of the wrap. I've had some really good chicken Caesar salad wraps before at another spot but this wasn't good at all for $16. I want to start by saying that the entrance is alittle strange, it's smack Dap in the middle of a office building. Once you get down the long hallway you will see the restaurant. Once you're actually there it's absolutely beautiful and such a cool fun theme. As for the menu is it's small I was expecting it to be bigger. I will say the food is pricey for what you get. We had the classic deviled eggs which were good but nothing special. My husband had the bacon, egg, cheese on a croissant, he enjoyed it however just be mindful it doesn't come with anything else, it's just the sandwich. I had the smashed sausage, egg, and cheese on sour dough. I also enjoyed it, I just wish it came with some sort of side. Our friend has the traditional breakfast, they said they enjoyed it however the potatoes were alittle overly seasoned with rosemary. Overall, this place is super cool for the experience and vibe. 3.5 would be more accurate here. Wow! This place is unique! I would never have found it in a million years if not for people promoting it on Tik Tok and Instagram. My friend and made a reservation for brunch here on Sunday. First off, it is off the beaten path over by the fairgrounds and casino in an office building. It essentially is in the atrium of this office facility. There is plenty of parking and when you come in you have to go down a long hallway which really gives you the urge to run. Once you get to the atrium, it is truly gorgeous. They have assembled a tent city (nice one) and lighting is ethereal. We checked in and were told that though we had a reservation, we had to wait because people were just hanging out at our table. They told me 10 mins but it ended up being 25, not cool. However, we contented ourselves taking gorgeous photos and taking in the decor. Once we were seated we were blown away by the menu and the cocktails offered. Everything looked good and our table made us feel like we were glamping. The issues were the service. It was incredibly slow. Maybe they're still new and working out the kinks?? Also, there was some trouble splitting the bill where the server was getting a bit flustered. We ordered some cocktails, the butter candle with croissants (to die for) the avocado deviled eggs (tasty but small portions) and a breakfast sandwich (nice size). Everything was delicious but pricey for the appetizers. I recommend if they don't do this already, renting out the place for small rehearsal dinners for weddings or receptions. The restaurant is located far back in the office building. Walking towards the restaurant is like walking toward a jungle safari tent. Ambience, decor with canvas material for the tents and plants create a cozy environment. The wait staff were very friendly and warm. The menu is small and incorporated breakfast and lunch items. I ordered the Wagyu smash burger and it came with either potato chips or potato sticks. I wish that fries were an option . The burger tasted like a regular burger. You can tell it was made freshly. On the floor of the hallway as we walked toward the restaurant- it read " the Hallway of Dreams", and this, indeed, turned out to be 100% accurate. Campfired has truly redefined hospitality. You walk in a customer, and leave as family. From the "tiny pancakes" to the "smoke" burger, to the truffle wagyu deviled eggs- we quickly realized that we had found a favorite brunch spot. The drinks- with house made syrups- were next level and BEYOND. The surroundings made us feel like we were a hundred miles away from home, work, and the busyness of life. Campfired is a unique place that needs to be seen to believed. As other reviews mention, the location is in the middle of a large office building. The exceptionally-long entrance hallway feels like a portal into a liminal space. The dining room is carved out of an atrium. It is cozy and nicely-decorated, but the whole thing feels a little uncanny. We found the service to be efficient, functional, and a little quiet. Sandwiches were delicious (we had a couple of burgers and a Cubano at our table). For the price, portion sizes are small, and the sandwiches are begging for a legitimate side item. Fries or some house-made chips would be brilliant, as scrounging up little matchstick potatoes wasn't my favorite. This place is really one of a kind, and the food has potential. This fell short for me. First I was expecting this lush flowery - planty oasis of a dining space and almost every plant in the place was dead. It's like they took the pics for instagram and then never bothered to water them. They were still in the temporary plastic pots. Dead. That was off putting. And be prepared for a hella walk. Yes it's in an office building but really really far back. We ordered the garlic butter candle bread and were underwhelm when a wick was place in the center of chilled butter. I think they ran out of bread for French toast cause the same seeded bread the garlic butter came with was the same little circular medallions the fresh toast was made of. Now - I blame myself for ordering the skirt steak cheesesteak- it looked good but was uneditable because the meat was so tough. If you don't know - outside skirt steak is the better tender cut - I think they gave me inside skirt. Plus you should run it through a tenderizer - but I digress. My mom had the wagyu cheeseburger and I promise you that was ground beef. Someone told me they had the best espresso martini and it wasn't. And, I like sweet drinks. I even get my coffee extra sweet. This tasted like someone made a mistake - it was cloyingly sweet. I didn't drink it. We paid the bill and said "instagram got us again". I will say that the chairs to the high table are very uncomfortable-- lol if you hips, you're not going to be comfy. And it was hard to push the chair in once seated. Now.. the service was very slow I will say. The waitress was pleasant, but the experience was really slow. It took roughly 40 minutes to get our food. Thankfully, we weren't in a rush and just enjoyed each others company while we waited, but there was quite a wait. I also attribute this to them still being fairly new and working through the kinks -- so I give them grace. I would recommend they put some bread or something on the table is the wait time is going to be a trend. ONLY because the food was actually good will I give them a second chance. While it did come out cold, I can see that the flavor was there. We got simple meals, but the eggs were well seasoned and the roasted lemonade was good. When I went they weren't serving alcohol but are waiting on the license to be able to do so. That probably would've helped as well being able to drink and sip something. When we questioned the point of having a reservation, the hostess said they operate on a "first come, first serve" basis--while also confirming they do take reservations. That contradiction says it all. We then asked to sit at the bar and were told it was full, again emphasizing "first come, first serve." Moments later, seats opened up and when we tried to take them, we were told someone else was waiting. The entire experience was disorganized and frustrating. So we really wanted to like this establishment. You see the great photos of the food and it makes you want to stop in. The creativity of the establishment makes it looks like an oasis lots of plants leading into the seating area. So for ambiance it's a yes, the service is also a yes. But food its a huge NO! We tried a bit of everything Roasted potatoes were undercooked, the sandwiches weren't nothing that stands out. Publix would probably do better. The mini pancakes our son enjoyed. The campfired breakfast was okay but no seasoning no flavor no nothing. Orange juice says freshly squeezed but we got Tropicana bottles (go figure) our waitress English wasn't clear so a lot of mix up on what we wanted compared to what we got. I will say the Japanese dip was very tasty but the idea of serving it with pretzels was a no no. The potential this place can be depends on management. The menu wants to be upscale but the cooks says otherwise. The people who love this place is because the hype of it but when you pay attention to the food it's nothing appealing. I've visited this restaurant twice, and unfortunately my most recent experience was disappointing. When we arrived for our reservation, we were informed only ten minutes beforehand that there was a special Valentine's Day menu requiring a $55 per person minimum. This was significantly more expensive than their regular menu, and it would have been helpful to know in advance. We had a reservation for 14 people, but it took over an hour to be seated. By the time we were finally offered a table, the restaurant was closing in about an hour, which made the delay even more frustrating. The seating itself was also uncomfortable. The chairs were designed to swivel, but they didn't rotate fully, which was oddly irritating throughout the wait. Very interesting location, inside an office/corporate plaza. You enter a long hallway leading to the front of the restaurant which has cute tropical decor within the restaurant, great for pictures. I was at a table of 4, our waitress was decent how receiving food and drinks took quite a while. About 8-10 mins for the drinks & 35-40 mins to receive our entrees. There is a rather limited menu when it comes to entrees. The steak (ordered medium rare) and eggs were underwhelming. Steak was slightly over cooked. The ambiance here is wonderful! The cafe con leche was sweet and delicious. We thought the food was good. Stars deducted for slow service. We waited at least 15 minutes to be greeted at our table and have our order taken. Others seated after us were helped before us. Half of the food came out and we waited a while for the rest to come out so some of our group was done eating while others hadn't received the food yet. The busboys were phenomenal though, they helped keep our water refilled and met all of our needs promptly. I loved the relaxed, thoughtfully designed vibe at Campfired. Soft background music creates a calming atmosphere, and the decor feels like an indoor oasis. This is in the middle of other business sites but there were no interruptions from them that impacted my experience. Parking is in a professional plaza so plenty of space. I visited around 10a.m. when it wasn't busy--though there was no host at the front, I found my friend easily. There's plenty of seating, including picnic tables and a bar area. One unique thing to me is that they do not fry anything which I thought was pretty on par with their theme. I tried the roasted lemonade, which tasted mostly of bitter lemon peel and wasn't for me. For food, I had the pancakes (a small portion, as the server mentioned) and parmesan potatoes, which could've used more seasoning beyond the cheese. Service was friendly but quite slow, even though there were only a few tables occupied. If you're on a schedule, it might help to mention that when you arrive. That already set the tone. Things got worse when a waitress dropped glass right next to our table. There were pieces of glass on the floor, and no one offered to move us or properly clean it up, which felt unsafe and unprofessional. The food was not good, and the service was very frustrating. Staff kept coming over every few minutes asking if we wanted to order more, even though we hadn't finished our drinks.
