I asked again if the syrups contained any dairy and was told no. We ordered again with oat milk. On the second visit, my husband had stomach problems and I suspect dairy was somehow inadvertently used. On the third visit, I thought it may have been a fluke, my husband getting sick and so we ordered what we had the first time but this time I got sick. Camp Coffee is a popular coffee shop located in Oceanside, CA. The shop is known for its cozy and relaxed atmosphere, and the quality of their coffee and food offerings. Many visitors and locals such as myself alike praise the shop for its friendly staff and excellent customer service. I work in downtown Oceanside and always recommend guest to try it out. One of the standout features of Camp Coffee is their selection of coffee drinks, which are made from high-quality beans and prepared with care. They offer a variety of classic espresso drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos, as well as specialty drinks like the "Campfire Mocha" (my favorite) and the "Salted Caramel Latte." Their coffee is consistently praised for its rich flavor and smooth finish. In addition to their coffee, Camp Coffee also serves a selection of food items, including breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Many customers appreciate the shop's commitment to using locally sourced and organic ingredients whenever possible, making for a more sustainable and eco-friendly dining experience. The ambiance at Camp Coffee is cozy and inviting, with a rustic-chic decor that include reclaimed wood accents and plenty of natural light. The shop is also dog-friendly, which is a big plus for pet owners looking for a place to grab a coffee with their furry friends. Overall, Camp Coffee is a must-visit destination for coffee lovers in Oceanside. With its excellent coffee and food offerings, friendly staff, and charming ambiance, it's easy to see why the shop has such a loyal following. read more

The owner or general manager who wears a plaid, button-down shirt and sleeked back hair is not friendly and just cannot be bothered. Really insensitive, passive aggressive and cold. I think he's an ignorant homophobic a$$hølě I am never ever gonna come back here ever agin for my black coffee with espresso shots. This afternoon ago around 3 PM, I sat outside just enjoying my plane on a cold windy day. While siting and just having my coffee minding my own business, i heard a loud scream. It turns out these loud rowdy middle school girls walked past by this coffee place laughing, they saw me for the way I look, of course, I was wearing all black, had eyeliner and black nail polish. I got called "hey emo!" which is a very very demeaning. I have not ever heard anyone call someone that name since high school in a long time since before early 2010s I don't care what anyone else thinks of me, I was not bothered at all. But just in case, i was so nervous but I had very little bit of strength to tell the store manager what happened and had the audacity to shrug it off, " if there's anything else I can do for you." Well, you know what then, since I was harassed and degraded, I will never come back here again. Calling someone "emo" is really degrading, it's derogatory, it's hurtful. it's the same thing to call someone a f@g, it's not OK to call anyone that. I never let any name-calling get to me, but I don't deserve to get hurled out while I was simply sitting outside at the tables alone just having my coffee. read more

Camp Coffee Company in downtown Oceanside delivers a straightforward approach to coffee without trying too hard. I went straight for the cortado, and I'm glad I did. The milkiness felt balanced against the espresso's bitterness, striking that sweet spot between comfort and a pleasant jolt. It was made fresh to order, a detail that I appreciate more than any fancy latte art or over-the-top flavor syrups. The modern interior was clean, though I couldn't ignore how cramped the layout felt. Tables seemed to occupy every possible inch, making it a bit of a squeeze to settle in That said, the location makes up for a lot of the spatial shortcomings. It's steps away from the beach and right in the middle of downtown, so grabbing a quick coffee before you wander the coast feels almost mandatory. Ambiance-wise, it's not exactly a lounge-all-day spot, but for a solid cortado that wakes you up without burying the taste of actual coffee, this place fits the bill. The staff was friendly enough, and they got my drink out quickly despite the tight quarters. Overall, it's a worthy stop when you need something simple, satisfying, and close to the sand read more
