To just be told that they have already sold the car! Not even have the common courtesy to call and tell you so you don't waste your time and money on fue to be told they are selling the car as you sit there 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment! Brian Valentino was so helpful to try and screw a fellow employee out of commission that he allowed the car to be sold before my appointmen. Again don't trust this company!!! I took my vehicle for service. The agreed upon repair wasn't completed as I was told it would be. The service manager, Chris Gordon, told me he was in charge and that I had to direct all complaints to him. Later I was informed that his boss "was the service director, not me" He refused to explain certain things to me in laymen's terms that I was not understanding regarding my repair and made me feel stupid for asking questions. I went to see the car alone and made it very clear that I would be buying the car and no one else would be involved in the purchase or financing. Service is top notch and will do what it takes to support you. I can't say enough good things about the service department Sale, EXTREMELY disappointed. I bought a brand new, repeat BRAND NEW wrx and didn't see any immediate issues until I saw the car in the daylight the next day. Over 18 dents (small size) so I returned the car and they kept it for a week to correct. Okay so I moved on 2 days later I happen to notice the dash board has a half dollar size blemish (dent in dash) so I return the car again. As always service takes care of me but for a new car I had it as they had to do a full dash tear out and replacement... I decided to ask the Sales manager to make this deal right. No new car should have these issues out the gate.. the Sales Manager stated they won't take a loss to buyback the car and Subaru USA was no help either and put it on the dealer. For a brand new car I now had extensive body work and a total dash replacement completed. From that point forward I had constant rattles in the dash and was treated poorly by both sales and service Now that I ditched that car I wanted to recommend any other dealer for your next purchase. I would have never imagined in this day and age that such bad behavior and service would be tolerated form such a well known brand. The sales person, Kris Patel, was extremely rude throughout the process and would not respond to my texts In a reasonable time, two days, or answer the phone. Other things as well but too much detail. When I politely asked the sales manager, Kory,if it would be possible to use someone else, instead of hearing from Kory, kris Patel called,screaming that I was a horrible person and how dare I say anything bad about him, and that additionally, my business was no longer welcome! I immediately called and asked for management and was told by Mr. Lu, a finance manager and the only manager that would speak to me, that Patel was a senior sales person with 15 years there. Apparently, Subaru condones this behavior or at least Camelback Subaru does. Needless to say, I was no longer interested in leasing a new vehicle from them at this point. Reading through past reviews, I see that this behavior and gross unprofessional was not limited to just me. Can't believe you're still in business. Update from previous post. Turns out, the the suspension and alignment were fine. The issue turned out to be the Service Department Not Doing Their Job! After they told me my tires needing to be replaced after just 10,560 MILES. Had an Independent Inspection done from NAPA Auto and it was determined the tire ware was due to the lack of Tire Rotation! The Rotation was part of the Free Maintenance when I bought the car. Obviously, the Camelback Service Department DIDN'T DO THEIR JOB. Contacted Subaru of America. Summary: They finally offered to replace the tires.......IF...and ONLY IF I SIGN LEGAL DOCUMENTS TO REMOVE ANY SOCIAL MEDIA POSTINGS AND POST NOTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT THIS INCIDENT THAT WAS THEIR FAULT. Really? Rather than just say Sorry, Let's fix the problem....they want to make ME look like the one at fault, repeatedly trying to blame the tires are Defective, then blaming me, saying I must have driven off-road or poorly paved roads. B.S.! Glad I got that Independent Inspection done. I would rather pay for a new set of tires myself, than bow down to their level of signing my rights away for their own NEGLIGENCE! Keep this in mind next time you visit this SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I also recommend you do a Video walk-around of your vehicle before you drop it off. Short story: I had a great experience buying the car in May of 2018, (almost 2 years ago) and gave a positive review about it at the time. It is the Service Departent that this review is for. It took SIX visits to get my brakes fixed, and while the first five times were civil, they ultimately have no communication with each other, and blame the customer for their poor work ethic. Long story if you're curious: I have worked with Ian who has been very kind about this, Mike who was also kind and apologetic with how many times I have had to come in, Bryan who at first was really cool but then lied to his boss about what he did to avoid taking blame even though it's all in writing, Chris the service manager who unfortunately I yelled at (and apologized to) but after six times I'm allowed to be frustrated, and would have easily calmed down if he just listened to my complaint and followed through with what was promised, instead of blaming me and saying he wasnt going to complete what was promised me, which was brakes and rotors replacement. Oh and Ryan, who had absolutely nothing to do with this but felt the need to give rude remarks when I was on the phone with corporate trying to make a written complaint, since at that point everyone was refusing to complete what Mike ordered (with Bryan's help and approval). I came in Feb 4 to get the recall fixed and an oil change, and I mentioned the brakes were squeaky. When I picked it up, there was no mention of what they did for the brakes, and it wasn't in the paper work. Ian apologized and said they did not clean them at this time, I thought that's ok there were many other things to get done, I'll just come back another time. I come back Feb 25, they cleaned the brakes for me. They were still squealing, so I come back Feb 29. This is the third visit, they clean them again. This whole time I have been cool about this, it's just squeaky brakes and I like to take care of my cars. Plus Ian, Mike and Bryan are always kind and we joked about me being there so much. They end up still squealing. So I come in March 21, a fourth time. I ask if there's anything else that can be done, because they suggest doing another cleaning. Bryan was cool and said, "You know what, just replace the brakes and rotors, she's been here a lot let's just get it done. I'm super thankful, Bryan helps Mike put it in the system. I leave and get a call that they can only replace the front ones. The back ones are not in stock and they will call when they are so I can bring the car back in. Perfect no problem. I get a call that the back brakes and rotors are there, so I bring the car in April 4. This is where it gets ugly. I come in the next day or so to pick up, and a man I had never met before said the back brakes were cleaned, not replaced. "They were really dirty and just needed a cleaning". Really? After being cleaned twice already? At this point I am fuming. Five visits for squeaky brakes. He said he's the service manager Chris, so I Iay it on him. Again, I apologized for that even though he was being combative and on a power trip that he never approved the replacement so it wasn't happening. Thank goodness Bryan was there to back me up, but no. He insists that he never said he would replace anything and he would NEVER overstep his boss. Everyone is blaming me for not having Chris' approval...the customer. For some reason that's my problem. Shouldn't Chris be mad at his employees for ordering stuff without approval? How am I supposed to know that? So I have to fight for something that was already supposed to get done. After standing my ground, he finally says he will get it done. I thank him, we're done. But I'm still planning on filing a complaint. I come in April 7 the sixth visit, and everything is finally replaced. (Supposedly, I still need to check that I indeed got new brakes and rotors). I ask Bryan why he lied to his boss, and I need the paperwork printouts for my complaint because I was accused of lying and bullying my way into new brakes. Chris and Bryan were extremely unprofessional and blaming and accusing me of things that Chris wasn't even present for. Bryan said he wasn't going to argue, but what he really wasn't doing was owning up to his actions. Thankfully, I have the paperwork already for my complaint. Yeah, I blew up. But all five men got me there. They were combative, accusing me of false things, not listening to why I was there, not following through with what was supposed to get done, not backing me up when I was telling the truth, and lying about things that are actually written on paper. I was told to never go there again, but after six visits just to get my brakes to stop squealing it's pretty clear that NO ONE should go there again. read more

The short story (TL;DR): Had a very stereotypical car salesman experience here. They lied to us about what cars they had and the price they were willing to sell them at, causing us to miss out on getting the car we wanted at the trim level we wanted at a different dealer. Then they sold a car we had a $1000 deposit on without even giving us a call. The long story: We came on a Monday to test drive some cars and figured out we wanted a 2019 Subaru Impreza standard model (no frills). But before making a final decision we wanted to at least sleep on it. They pushed us to make a $1000 deposit on a car and said that if we did they'd get one in Island Blue for us, our preferred color. Over the next few days, we talked to a few other dealers and found one (Peoria Subaru) that would give us a great deal on a base Premium model (Premium trim, no frills. Package 11). I called up Camelback Subaru and they said they'd match the price and that they have a base Premium model in Island Blue. We decide to check that out before going to Peoria. When we get there, they put a lot of pressure on us to get the standard Island Blue we had put a deposit on instead of a Premium level. After asserting over and over again that we'd like to see the Premium, they say that they don't have any base Premium models available. They also bad talked Peoria Subaru several times, warning us of "hidden" fees that Peoria Subaru had already talked explicitly with me about. It also turns out that the lowest they were willing to go on the base Premium models was still $800 more than what Peoria promised. So they lied to us about what they had available and they lied to us about being able to match the price. We leave saying that $800 was worth us going to Peoria to check it out. We did not say we wanted our deposit back or that we had made any final decisions. I call Peoria the next day and it turns out they sold the base Premium model we were interested in. So now Camelback Subaru not only wasted our time, they cost us a really good deal on a base Premium. We decide that we might as well get the standard Island Blue Impreza that we put a deposit on. I call up Camelback and let them know we would be there in an hour to buy the car we had put a deposit on. Then I call again letting them know that we would be 15 minutes late. They had two opportunities to let us know over they phone that they had sold the car we had a $1000 deposit on. If we had known, we wouldn't have wasted our time and would have gone to a different dealer that evening. Instead, they said it was still there and when we got there they let us know it was sold. They didn't even give us a call before they sold it. If they had, we would have told them wanted to buy it. In the end, we ended up getting a standard model with EyeSight (Package 3) at Peoria Subaru. It wasn't exactly what we wanted, but it was still a good price and there was known of the treachery that Camelback Subaru promised there would be. Really wish we had gone to Peoria first. Camelback wasted our time and money and our opportunity to get the car we wanted. read more

When I told them about it they said they'd fixed it but it's been over 4 months since then and they keep telling me "their about to order it". They lied to me and said they had it but when I went in they didn't have it and the service manager was a total jerk to me. They aren't holding up their end of the deal. Having purchased first a WRX here, and getting my STI serviced here I can say I've got a pretty good feel for the place. In summary, the Service Dept is good, Brandon bends over backwards to make me happy. They also use factory Subaru oil, which is nice for peace-of-mind, and they have been good about working in my favor, I appreciate the efforts to save me a few bucks and will continue to use this place because, well they're just very nice and positive. Parts Dept is decent and you can order parts online on the Subaru website for a discount and pick up there. Selection of accessories isn't so great but whatever. I ordered some spare interior pieces for my car, got a 10% discount off MSRP without asking by ordering online. Sales dept is definitely not for rookies- it's more like a traditional car dealer, "What can we do to get you to buy today" kind of place- and the second sticker can be a turnoff; but if you do your homework, research, and get everything set up before you even step on the lot- and know where you stand on the deal at all times, you'll be just fine. You CAN tweak them to sell the car, they want to sell the car, so channel your inner mule, don't take it personally and be very stubborn. Do your homework, know what you're supposed to pay and walk if you don't get it. You got the internet, use it. Ya got it? Do your homework before you walk in. Anyhow, with all this said, this place is definitely superior to the other places in the valley especially for service- that's the real value in this dealer- and let's face it- unfortunately Subaru is more of a boutique brand around AZ and all the dealers know it. I was planning to purchase from Camelback based on the inventory they had available, but during the very early stages of shopping, interacting with the staff and "management" was so off-putting, I decided that I would never by a car from this dealership. If you like pushy sales people, this is the place for you! If you appreciate false advertising, then you will love it here. If you like it when you ask questions, rather than answer they just move along with their agenda to sell you a car...then Camelback Subaru is perfect. Otherwise, I highly recommend going somewhere else. I reached out online after seeing a $235/mo lease deal on a new Crosstrek. Naturally, I wanted to do as much homework as possible before heading to a dealership. I was in the market for a car and having only purchased cars my entire life (15 cars total so far), I was curious to know the details on a lease vs. a purchase. Which is the bigger waste of money? How could that $235 lease payment be so low? While shopping on their website, I noticed a chat feature, so I asked the question; What is the total amount down you need to put for the $235 lease deal? The chatter, whose name was Maynerd, couldn't answer the question, but told me he would have a sales person contact me to go over the details. Fine, I gave my contact info with specific instructions not to call during business hours. I don't answer my cell phone during the day because A) I get a ton of sales calls and B) I oversee a team of sales & customer service people that I do not want on their cell phones all day- so I try to lead by example. Of course, within minutes the phone rings, a sales person named Van was reaching out to schedule an appointment with me. He also e-mailed me. I responded to the e-mail and let Van know that I didn't appreciate the phone call. He claimed he didn't get the message not to call during business hours. Not a problem, just answer the question. What is the total amount down for the lease at $235/m?. Van wanted to schedule an appointment, not answer the question. I was actually on my way out of town on a business trip for a week and was planning to return late Saturday night. I told Van I didn't want to make an appointment just yet, instead I told him what I was trying to do a little research, and asked if he could answer the question? He responded that a purchase is about $80 more a month than a lease. And again asked if I wanted to make an appointment. WHAT? That can't be right. At $235 a month, with $2k down for 3 years for a lease...there is no way a you can buy a car for $315 a month, for 3 years of payments with the same $2k down. Unless...you put down about $12,000 or more on this particular $28,000 car. Bottom line, this is not the right answer. I later learned $235 is not actually the lease price. It's a scam to get you in there where you will learn the real number is closer to $339/mo. Ironically, one of the assistant sales managers, his name is Kory, had also been emailing me, trying to jump in the e-mail exchange with Van. He said a 3 year loan would be about double the payment compared to a lease. While this sounds closer to the truth, again, Kory was pushing to make an appointment during the week. Kory also texted me the same day. I explained to Kory I was out of state and planning to return Saturday evening, so of course with his one track mind, Kory wants to know if I would like to set up an appointment for Saturday or Sunday. GOOD GRIEF. What is it with these two and their pushiness to make an appointment?? I explained to Kory that I didn't want to make an appointment, but that I was planning to swing by at some point on Sunday. I knew that I was going to for a hike on Sunday morning and having been out of town for a week with house chores to do, I wasn't interested in committing to a specific time to meet when I had no idea when I would be free. Kory, in perfect cheesy sales person confidence said (and I quote) "no problem, by appointment only we have a extra 500 savings. Is there a time i can put you in for Sunday?" WOW. What a joke. So again, I said I am not making an appointment, but that I would see them on Sunday. A couple of hours later, I get an e-mail calendar invite to confirm my appointment for 3:30pm on Sunday. WHAT? Who does this? How many times do I have to say I'm not making an appointment? I went for a long hike Sunday morning (Flatiron in the Superstitions). After getting back to my car, there was a VM from (Frank?) the sales manager confirming my 3:30 appointment. I called to let Kory know why I would never buy a car from them and I went to Chandler Subaru instead, had a great experience, and now happily own my first Subaru! read more

I went to my scheduled appointment to test drive the Forester. Instead of getting to test drive the car, the sales person was more interested in my potential trade in. Before even seeing, talking about, or driving the Forester in which I scheduled an appointment to drive, the sales person proceeded to get the information on my current car as well as asked to test drive it around the block. I promptly left Camelback Subaru before proceeding with them test driving MY vehicle and then went to Auto Nation Subaru off Northsight with a night and day better experience- as well later a new car. I later reached out to the sales manager to provide my negative experience who informed me that they always need to get the value on the trade in order to "save the costumer time" before test driving cars. I came in to buy a car, test drove a few and had a great experience. Ended up choosing a car and signing the paperwork, only to have a huge insurance issue and ended up having to leave the car. I have an anxiety disorder, and ended up having a pretty bad anxiety attack while I was there. Kaden, Ben and Burt were amazing. They didn't try to force me into anything, but came over to make sure I was ok. They showed me pictures of their sweet puppies and made sure my emotional support dog had water and treats. Buyer beware. The prices online do not match the actual prices in the dealership. They will not sale you a car without ridiculous upgrades. They are charging 400 dollars for Nitrogen filled tires. Fun fact, nitrogen can be obtained for free from Costco. They are charging over 1000 dollars for "ceramic tint." Literally, lie after lie as well. This has to be one of the only car dealerships on Earth that strives to be the worst experience every time. There are other dealerships in the East Valley that'd I recommend. I nearly didn't buy a Subaru because of how poorly this dealership represents the brand. read more

Terrible Terrible Terrible, I brought my 2017 WRX in for the clutch Pedal sticking to the floor, I inspected the vehicle myself ( Trained Tech) and found the Master cylinder leaking fluid when clutch applied, So I brought it in for warranty work. I was soon quoted for a clutch assembly. I Did not agree with this diagnosis, I talked to the tech working on it, and he Was unable to diagnosis this issue correctly. I Towed the vehicle out of the shop and Bought the clutch master cylinder myself and replaced it. My clutch now operates correctly. It did not need a clutch assembly. If you do not have training or experience working on vehicles do not bring your car here. They will steer you in the wrong direction. This is disappointing that a Subaru center can not provide correct repairs to warranty vehicles. read more

Came here on a whim because we saw the hatchback parked out front and have been on the market to purchase a GTI but with inventory being minimal we decided to see what Subaru had to offer. We were greeted swiftly by Gabe which was already a huge positive considering our past experiences with other dealerships. Gabe was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Not only did he have answers to all of our million questions but he was also well informed about the GTI we were looking at as well which helped solidify our decision to go with the Subaru. We did a test drive, Gabe pointed out all of the awesome safety features. Came back to the dealership and the negotiating began. After some back and forth we got the deal we wanted and certainly couldn't pass up this price considering the low inventory and high demand. Now there was that initial $5000 markup because of the climate dealerships are in currently but even with that markup we worked out an amazing deal for a vehicle with literally all the bells and whistles. Gabe was fantastic. His knowledge in the product he was showing us gave us all the confidence that that guy knew what he was talking about and not once did we feel pressured to buy anything. The buying process was quick and painless with Tully as it was basically a cash transaction and we were out the door with parting gifts for our dogs and a handshake. Really great overall experience. If you're ever in the market for a Subaru I'd highly recommend Gabe. He looks super young but don't be confused, he comes with such impressive knowledge and experience with the product that he's able to build your confidence in him as a subject matter expert. read more

1 star is very generous for this shady dealership. I was interested in a 2016 Subaru STI on Friday and requested a "blow out" price and was contacted by Doug through e-mail. After several exchange emails about my upside down trade and the price of the vehicle, I wanted to know the financed amount. He informed me that I would have to come in for a full evaluation. Fair enough, so I stopped by after work and worked on the numbers. The trade value they gave me was a little lower than I expected and they weren't willing to lower the price of the STI because it was a "hot item" or give me more on the trade to compensate. I told them it's no deal; I'll think about it and left. After thinking about it over the weekend, I called Doug that Monday and stated we can closed the deal if they lowered it another $500 and if they can get me the color in white or blue. He said the blue was sold over the weekend, but he might have one coming in and stated he will call me back, but failed to follow up. I called back after a couple hours and he said he is still looking into with his inventory manager. Right, because it takes anyone that long to look up a car within their lot. 5 hours passed and he finally calls and said that he just got a blue one and that I would need to come back for a reappraisal of the trade in. I figured the value wouldn't change, but I was wrong. Not only did they dropped my trade 1k less than what they originally quoted, but they also increased the price of the car. Making it overall 2k more than anticipated. I asked them why did they quote me a higher amount 2 days ago and their reason was because they didn't do a "full" appraisal on it at the time. That's some unethical business practices and poor customer service on Camelback and I'm surprised they're still in business. The whole time I was there, Doug never approached me or greeted me, but instead had his "minions" do the dirty work for him. The whole sales people are all out there to steal and rip you off. Overall, my experience was a waste of time, constantly lied to, and tried to lure me into a regrettable purchase. Don't waste your time on this garbage dealership. read more

After much thought and consideration the wife and I decided to buy a 2017 Forester 2.5i Premium w/All Weather Package. We chatted up several dealers and had a great offer from another dealer, henceforth referred to as The Other Guy ( TOG ). Camelback said they had the exact same model and color as TOG but would sell it to us for $300 off the TOG offer. On Saturday, May 27 we drove quite a bit to Camelback, and they called us as we were in transit to make sure we were on the way. We are well qualified buyers with 6 figure income, killer credit scores, and we were putting $10,000 down. Upon arrival it was revealed that they did NOT have the same model/color we wanted and after some stalling it was apparent they wanted to sell us an upgraded model which we were not interested in. (Lie number 1, they didn't have the car) The sales guy said he would look online and see if he could find one for us but informed us there was not a single model like we wanted within 600 miles. This was Lie number 2 and that will be revealed at the end of this story. During the pressure to upgrade to another model they brought in a few 'closers' who showed us various print-outs of prices and they were going on about what a Deal we were getting. We advised that we were willing to work with them if: 1. They honored TOG's price and 2. Worked a deal on the upgraded features at a discount. 3. Removed the items we didn't want ( cargo net etc ) The items that we did not want, cargo net, this that and the other thing that added another $1000 and we wanted taken off but they wouldn't do that. Said it was all or nothing. Shot the price to about $2000 over TOG's price. To add insult to injury Camelback said that TOG would not honor their own deal and that we would be stuck with an additional $865 fee at closing. Here is where it got really bad... since TOG was going to add on the additional $865 they felt they had the right to do it too... so in all of their pricing they added an additional $865. You can't make this stuff up folks. We were walking out the door when out of nowhere they said they actually had the exact model we were looking for, and offered it to us at a price slightly above the TOG price. I have no idea what happened to the $300 off but at that point I was willing to let it go. When I walked out to see the car it was NOT the same car in fact it was the base model not the Premium w/All Weather Package. ( BAIT and SWITCH??? ) That was it... I was steaming mad and called TOG right in front of the Sales-Management-Team and let them know I was on the way after wasting my time at Camelback. On the way out the door.... one of the upper managers advised they actually had the car we wanted but it was in Tuscon and they would deliver it to my door the next day. But wait... wait... the sales kid said there wasn't one available for 600 miles.... Lie number 3. When we arrived at TOG they had the car I wanted waiting for me, and the out-the-door price was what they said, and they did NOT attempt to add on a $865 fee at the end. Terrible Lie number 4 by Camelback. I should have known something was up because we were the only people at Camelback Subaru. I mean that place was dead. By the time we got to TOG the place was filled with people and they had sold 11 cars before noon. They honored their price and treated us with respect. I had a very bad experience with Camelback Subaru. Let me explain.... I bought my car new from Camelback Subaru in 2018, and also purchased a ton of off-road upgrades from them at the time of purchase. Since then, I have only used Camelback Subaru for servicing my car, and I have been diligent about performing all the regular maintenance and keeping my car in great shape (I love my car). It all went smoothly until I had an oil change and regular service a few weeks ago. I took my car in for service with the after-market skid plate I purchased in 2018 on it's undercarriage. When my car was returned to me, the skid plate was not there. Now, I didn't notice this right away because I don't usually check for my skid plate's presence after getting an oil change at a Subaru dealership. Should I start doing that? Apparently I should! But anyways at that time I didn't check. I realized the skid plate was gone when I took my car out off-roading a few weeks later (this car sits in the garage until I go out off-roading - I use another one to commute to work). I hit the first rock and it sounded BAD. So I looked under the car and the SKID PLATE WAS MISSING. WTF!? Also, now my car was running kind of funny due to being banged on the undercarriage with no skid plate (I never would attempt off-roading had I known there was no skid plate....). The story continues.... I take my car into Camelback and tell them what happened. The terrible customer service I received was UNREAL. They NEVER once apologized for what happened, and instead started to babble excuses about "well maybe it fell off!" and "maybe somebody stole it!" Um, ok so "maybe it fell off?" So you are saying that your explanation for my missing skid plate is that you did a crap job putting it on? And "maybe somebody stole it?" Ok... even if my car didn't sit in a locked garage 99% of the time, really? Someone got under my car and stole ONLY the skid plate? Ok. Good story. The story ends with Camelback Subaru refusing to take any responsibility for any of this, and refusing me even the most basic customer service after I've been a loyal customer for years! I now will be taking my car to the other Subaru dealership in town and paying for a replacement skid plate (~$400) as well as whatever it costs to repair the damage done to the undercarriage of my car when I hit the rock with no skidplate. I now will have to take Camelback Subaru to small claims court to try and recover AT LEAST the cost of the skidplate that they refused to take responsibility for, and hopefully the cost of the damage done due to their negligence. Moral of the story: stay far away from Camelback Subaru!!! I will never recommend them to anyone! read more

This place is so horrible I don't even know where to begin. They tried to treat me like an idiot and give me horrible prices with horrible APRs. They used horrible sales tactics and tried to pressure as hard as they could and get me to shake a hand or sign the back of a piece of paper where the manager would scribble bullshit deals. He came back 4 times with new prices and APRs until he'd cut the price by like 3k and the APR was down from 10% to 4%. I told him every time I'm not comfortable signing that day. At one point he wanted to check if I needed a consigner and what not. I told him DO NOT do anything with my credit if it involved a hard pull/hard inquiry. I told him this 4 or 5 times. He looked me in the eye and said he wouldn't do that to me. Guess what showed up the next day? Hard pull on my credit report that I believe dropped my score 10 points. This isn't even it. He brings the director or who sits down like a cocky asshole and says, "Yo what's going on why don't you wanna buy this car? Blah blah I'm doing all this shit for you". I tell him I never planned on signing today, the negotiations have been deceptive, and I'm not interested in any options on the car. He got up and got back down and slammed his hand on the table, other workers quickly looked back to see what was going on. He apologized immediately for slamming his hand unintentionally. Okay... My girlfriend tells him we have some personal shit that's preventing us from signing that day, he rudely asks "what personal stuff? You gettin married?" I tell him the MSRPs on the cars aren't even right, which I know now is because they had shitty port installed options that he never explained when I told him this price discrepancy. He just pulled up the Subaru site and tried to show me the prices by adding ad ons. I tell him how is that msrp if he's adding ad ons to it, he can't explain how so he freaks out and says "I can't do this" and walks away. I literally talked to him for 5 minutes or less. I forgot to mention many things from the moment he sat down being a total asshole. He said something about "I won't even sell to you if you don't want this deal" when he first sat down. Everybody else there seemed to not understand what the hell he was doing, I walked off immediately after he threw a fit and other employees seemed apologetic and said to have a nice day. The original salesmen who gave me the test drive tried to call me five minutes later saying they had a new price and apr. lol what a joke. read more

So we go out to buy a car and visit a bunch of places. It came down to this place and an Exterra or something like that. Subaru won out by coming in at the price out the door including tax and license that we were willing to pay. I do not fart around with the back and forth nonsense one usually gets at auto dealerships. I state what I will pay and if they can do it fine, if not, I am out of there. To this point it was going as I wanted. I wrote a check for the car and off we drive. Two days later they call and say they lost our check, can we give them another. I tell them no, find it. They call again and this time I tell them if I write another check I expect another car. Finally I am in the area so I drop off a check, I just like messing with them. Two more days pass and the sales man who sold us our vehicle calls to ask if we have decided if we want to buy or not. I reminded him that we already bought a car from him. His response is, huh, um, huh, OK and hangs up. A week passes and he again calls to see if we are ready to buy. So once again a reminder is in order. in the week after we got about five letters to remind us they are still there when we decide we are ready to purchase a new car. Not once did they ever say thanks for buying a vehicle, thanks for bringing us another check. Oh and if we show up for a service appointment they never know who we are. So I wonder if we had just driven the car off of the lot without paying for it, would they have noticed? read more
