I have been going to this place for about a year and couldn't recommend it more. They have a great selection of colors for regular, gel, and dip and the salon is clean, well organized, and cute. Every time I go I always think I have a new favorite technician. They are all so good and do not disappoint (Tiger is the best but hard to get since he schedules far in advanced though). I appreciate how quick they try to get you seated and out and their prices are very reasonable for the high level of quality they give. I definitely couldn't recommend this place enough but you might want to call and make a reservation first if going during peak times since they do get busy. read more

I never give poor reviews because I understand that no business is perfect, but unfortunately have to leave a negative review. I was a faithful customer for more than 6 months and would consistently get my nails done every other week until as of late. I was quoted a price for designs by Tom ($150) after he shared with me those of a clients he had previously done. Approaching my appointment I shared with him a picture of what I'd like to do and he stated it may be more. I shared that I only had a budget of $150 and didn't want to exceed it, and if sticking to the $150 wasn't possible we could just do my nails the normal way, and that it was all good if we had to stick to the norm, no hard feelings. His response to me was to find someone else to do my nails. In my mind I asked myself, did I just get fired because I didn't want to pay more than what my budget allowed? In my opinion, that is not how a business is supposed to treat or value their customers, and as a result I have decided to take the $280/ month I spend on myself, and the money I spend on my two daughters elsewhere! Aaron, please understand that repeat business along with customer referrals is the best business one can ask for! read more

Very nice - but the service was absolutely horrible. It was a man in a straight bill hat and tattoos. He could not paint a French dip, didn't match the color correctly, didn't evenly apply the gel top coat (I had to ask him to re-do it 4-5 times). He didn't cover my whole toe nails with the gel polish, so it's lifting already. Just overall the worst experience I have had. I cannot for the life of me find a good nail shop in the Old Town Scottsdale area! Go somewhere else! read more

Mai is excellent. I have been coming to her for a manicure (buffed) and pedicure (French ). She is so pleasant, accomodating and just lovely to visit. Been coming to her for over 15 to 20 years. Oh what a difference a day makes! I have been coming to this location for about a decade I have watched this nail salon get bought and sold, nought and sold, and bought and sold. Each time the names have changed with every sale. The vibe is just NOT the same anymore! There is pretty much a whole new staff, with a whole new (bad) attitude and lack of professionalism and kindness! The new owners lack kindness, communication and good customer service. I went in tonight to get my nails done, and under new management, I left VERY frustrated and angry. The owner was doing my nails tonight and made me feel anxious, uncomfortable, and hurt. Go see Sam for the BEST pedicure and massage you'll ever have!! Not only does he have the best energy and such a kind soul, his massages always have me leaving so relaxed and refreshed. So many other nail techs rush pedicures, but Sam takes his time to make sure every detail is PERFECT. He really puts his all into his work, and it shows. I came here based on a referral. My pedicure was luxury ($60) but didn't feel as such because it was rushed. The lady sitting next to me started at the same time and when my toes were getting painted she was still at her massage. Annie did a good job painting my nails but definitely not worth the $60. Tiger did my SNS with tip added ($53). My nails were no where near worth $53 but Tiger did an excelled job. He should have staff help with the front so that he can be more attentive to his clients. Would love to see him again but not at this expense and it's away from home-base for me. The SNS ingredients are spread on my cuticles and skin. The overall presentation is sloppy but the dip layout is nice. Over with tip came to $122. Definitely won't be back just because it's over priced for the quality. read more

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience! The place has a very nice, clean vibe, good music. I was a walk-in and they took me immediately, I asked for dip powder on my natural nails and over all I really like the color and how my nails look. The only reason I took a star away was because the man who was doing my nails nicked two of my fingers, and kept going over the raw area with the dremel but I think he was just trying to finish up in a timely manner. Kenzie's is my new favorite nail spot! I've been in 3 times now and am officially hooked. Every pedicure has been incredible - great massage, not rushed, and perfectly painted toes. Spacious, clean, lots and lots of colors and everyone is friendly and helpful. This is my first time visiting and I only got a pedicure this time. I'll be returning in 3 weeks for another pedicure and a gel manicure. $32 bucks was my total for a classic pedicure with callous remover. The class pedicure included the basics, with a 8 minutes moisturizing massage (delightful). The next option was the Deluxe pedicure I believe, which was a classic and a 10 minute hot stone massage instead of the lotion, callous remover not included. To be honest, I would not recommend this place based purely on product and customer service. I was gifted a GC for a gel mani and regular pedi. I'd never been to this location, but was interested bc it's in my fav shopping center close to AJs. I walked in and was immediately seated, it's a pretty tight space and there's no social distancing. Not everyone was wearing a mask, including the nail techs. The water was smoldering hot, and I had to ask the woman a few times to make it cool. Then she started on my pedi, she was a bit rough and cut me a few times with the cuticle remover tool. She didn't file or shape my toes the way I asked and they weren't even at all. At first, the color looked great. But as it dried it separated as if it was mixed with water. Then we moved onto our gel manis. They also rushed through that process and was pressing so hard. It was painful. I asked the gentleman at least twice to be more gentle. Once they finished we couldn't wait to get out of there. Not even 2 days later our nails were chipping and the color on my toes just got progressively worse. We both vowed to never go back. read more

I had been coming here for several years, not consistent but once a month or two. I had gotten dip at the suggestion of one of their techs and it hurt my nails so much to try to take it off. I hadn't been back much after that, maybe 2-3 times, and was trying to ask for a natural manicure that didn't use the drill and was based on the tech's abilities because I didn't want to hurt my nails again. I agree with some other reviews that there has been a definite disconnect so I went somewhere else for a few months in Tempe. I decided to come back because it's so close and convenient to my house. I told one of their male techs again what I wanted, explaining that I don't spoil myself much and that this was basically it for me. Tina really pampered me and made sure I was comfortable. Tiger answered all of my questions and made sure that I knew the difference between different polish types so I could get longer lasting nails without ruining my base. I'm excited to come back in a couple of weeks for upkeep. One of the reasons I give it 4 stars because they don't enforce their patrons wearing masks, even though there's a big sign in their window and I feel it's super disrespectful to their other customers and to their hardworking staff. Not only was the conversational good, but her work is incredible. She used the proper technique to take my gel pedicure off and trimmed my toenails evenly. From when i walked in she had a pleasant smile on her face and was so friendly.
