I've been going to Kenzie's since it open and I usually see the same technician - who is wonderful! She was booked this past Saturday and I had to see someone else. This person kept pushing for a gel manicure, which I don't like, and was pretty much done with both my mani and pedi in 45 minutes. My manicure only lasted a day. So my coworker told me about this place and I just needed to try it. She did not recommend a specific person but she said I just needed to try this salon. This salon is incredible. Extremely clean and everyone is so friendly. They have a huge selection of different colors and different brands. They just incorporated a rewards system, which I greatly appreciate. This place is a little on the higher end (not by much) BUT they give a manicure with the SNS & not a lot of salons do that, unless requested. Kelly has done my nails 3 times, now and she does great, every...single...time! She is meticulous and passionate about her work. Kenzie's is my new favorite nail spot! I've been in 3 times now and am officially hooked. Every pedicure has been incredible - great massage, not rushed, and perfectly painted toes. This past visit, I got my eyebrows waxed too and they look amazing! I love everything about this spot and will absolutely be back! I really wanted to like this place because it is close to my home and came recommended however not a great experience. I had an appointment for 4pm Mani Dip/ Pedi. Didn't even get started on my nails until 4:40. Nail tech was rushed, dip is very uneven and was never given any cuticle oils or lotion for hands. She never really finished so I ended up washing my own hands when done with my pedicure. Pedicure lady was very nice and my toes look great but I didn't get out of there until 6:30pm...2.5hrs for a meh job. read more

The technicians make sure you are comfortable and are welcoming. I've been here several times before and had great service. This time was different. My mom and I made appointments for pedicures and SNS manicures. They started my moms pedicure immediately. After sitting with my feet in the water for 20-30 minutes, they were going to start service on a walk in that came in just then. I asked about my service, they shuffled and hesitated, and then thankfully started my pedicure. Guess they forgot about me and that I had an appointment. My mom and I weirdly finished our pedicures at the same time, even though mine was started 30 minutes after her. Then they took her for her SNS manicure. Again I waited in the pedicure chair for another 15-20 minutes before someone even started to remove my existing SNS. Thennnnnn...I sat there with the removing solution and foil on my fingers for another 30 minutes, as I saw 2 additional walk ins get treatments before me. I really got discouraged with another walk in came in, asked to have a pedicure and manicure at the same time, and they started treatment for her immediately. Two plus hours later after my appointment time, I asked them to take off the foil from my nails. They did but made it seem like a huge convenience. Not once, did they apologize. Kenzie's! YASSSSSSS! While on the hunt for a new nail tech, I think yelp serves me well by their reviews about Kenzie's. No bashing here but my previous tech, I'd given her enough chances. I was ready to move on. I found this place and let me tell you, Tina and Lexi were THE BOMB (do people still say this?‍) From the moment I entered, Lexi greeted me and let me know that I'd have a 15-20 min wait. And I didn't wait any longer than that. She got me at a table immediately, started soaking my gel off. Thereafter, she got me in the massage chair to do my feet and Tina got to work on my hands. Such a great tag team. Once my feet were finished, Tina got me back to the table and finished my hands. I asked her for the SNS powder. I was afraid because previously, done elsewhere, it was too thick. Welp, Tina hooked me right up! It was perfect! I love everything about them. I've been to this place for a couple years now and even with the new ownership they have always been great. The wait are usually not long, the staff are friendly, and quality of work is great. The shop gives you a comfort feeling and they're located right in the plaza. Worst pedicure experience I've ever had. The lady was rude and would constantly nag at me and make me feel unwelcome. I did a higher priced pedicure as well and she didn't do a massage. She kept poking into my skin and was not in the slightest bit gentle. She skipped things promised in the package and just gave an overall bad vibe. I've been coming to this same salon for the past 4 years every time I come into town. I've always had good experiences here, but the past few times I've gone the man shaping my nails has cut me several times with the nail shaping tool. I'm pretty understanding if it happens once or twice, but it happened on almost every nail... I walked away with small cuts all over my fingers to where it hurt to wash my hands :( but if you're not getting acrylic nails then I think this is a MUST stop! If you are getting acrylics just cross your fingers you don't get the nail shaper I had! This place is great! I came across a lady with the most fab nails. I asked where she went and she told me about Tiger at Kenzies nails. I HAD to try him out! Walking in is very welcoming. Tiger himself always greets guests at the door. The place is clean. Brand new pedicure chairs. Offer you a water when you come in. I've never had a pedi there but my boyfriend comes with me and gets one. Every time he's done he looks like he just got a really good BJ or something. He goes to whoever is available and has no complaints about any of them. His toes are clean and that's good. I get my nails done by the most fabulous Tiger! This is a man of many trades.
