Noah did a fantastic job. He was on the phone when I arrived. The work was completed on time. My ONLY issue is the fact that even when your website knows I have a 2020 kia, it gives only prices for 2012 or older. The package I chose was $170.00 online, but Noah had to tell me it was $299 because my car was newer. Not a good place to put your own employee and not a good way to get me to use your services again. It's 2023, and your website could be a lot better. This was bordering on bate and switch. I received a recall notice for my vehicle, and I attempted to schedule with their "service" department. They do not take calls at the dealership, instead I'm re-routed to a call center in India. Nobody there can help me since this isn't a routine maintenance issue, so they said they would leave a message for their "service" advisor to call me. I never heard from anyone at the dealership. I called back on 3 other occasions and opted to be transferred to their sales department. Each time, the person in sales who answered said they would leave a message for their "service" team to call me and get this scheduled. Each message went unanswered. I have been attempting now for 3 weeks knowing full well that there is a safety issue with my vehicle, and nobody at this dealership has made any effort to help. read more

Kia the company has informed me that It has no oversight powers regarding individual dealerships, so I should address any complaint in a review. UNSAFE [COVID] & UNSCRUPULOUS 1. I bought my car here; I am very happy with it; the process was smooth. However, 2. Employees walk around unmasked, even as cases spike in AZ. An employee even came to my house unmasked to deliver a car for a test drive (and I had to give him a mask). Very unsafe Covid environment. 3. Karl Saknit, customer experience manager, is why I am writing this review. He emailed and called me numerous times after my purchase soliciting my answers to a survey, promising a free tank of gas for its completion. I filled out the survey honestly. When I went to collect the fill up, Karl told me that "since we have failed you, you are not a satisfied customer, so we cannot offer you the gas." (I had checked NO to the question of whether the salesperson had shown me the service department, which he had not). In essence, it was meant to be a quid pro quo situation, as opposed to a business improvement quest. Karl had gone so far as to send me an email with the answers he wanted. When I answered truthfully as the customer, it was met with hostility. Karl spoke to me from a distance of two feet with his mask tucked below his chin, as did the sales consultant. They both spoke aggressively about how my honest answer about objective facts cost the salesperson money. The whole thing was insincere, dishonest, bizarrely patronizing, and lame. Dishonesty is rarely an isolated thing, particularly when it is clearly institutional policy. So, I would not recommend this dealership. I had previously been very satisfied. read more

This is a service review - my husband has a Kia and he thought it would make sense to go here for all his service needs. In my past experiences, dealerships for service needs are the worse because not only do they mark up the cost 100-1000%, but the customer service is the worst too!!! Here's a perfect example: We had bought tires here a few months ago because they were offering a great deal and one of the tires had a nail in it. We also needed other service so we dropped off our Kia last Saturday. They did not have any tires that we bought in stock so they had to order it and was told that it will take a few days. We never got a call back and it's a full week later! We called this morning and got the run around and they told us that we couldn't just drop by to get a new tire installed - we needed to make another appointment which they didn't have anything available until a few days later. Why should we make an appointment for what? To tell us they don't have that type of tire in stock again?!! Also, we left our car there for other issues and were called a few hours later that the car was done. They charged us over $800 - and so we picked up the car and went on our merry way. Three days later, the battery dies and my husband was stuck at work. You would think that when you drop off your car for service that they check everything to see if you need any other work done! Obviously, not this service department!! I called and asked to speak to a manager. I was transferred to his voicemail (Dale or Dan) and left a message. Never got a call back!! I'm seriously questioning if anything they told us they did for $800 was actually done. I'm so sick and tired of these dealership service departments! The ironic thing is that we were looking to buy a new Kia SUV - but since we are treated like they could care less about their customers, I will not be shopping or spending my money at this Kia dealership anytime soon - or ever again!! I fully expected to write a bad review for Camelback Kia based on my general experience with other Kia dealerships and the low rating already listed here. However to my surprise Ali at Camelback was pleasant and easy to deal with from the start. There were a few hiccups with Camelback including; the vehicle hold process, the VIN number getting swapped around a few times on our paper work, a total cost error on the financial paperwork that we almost signed and having to fill out the credit app multiple times. The bottom line is they got us to the price we wanted and managed to include tint and a 4 year wear and tear warranty at no additional cost. We also didn't spend half a day at the dealership because we worked out most of the details over text, emails and a few calls. Our finance person was quick, professional and managed to get us the 4 year wear and tear warranty at no cost. Honestly this experience with Camelback was quite good, but I am also an experienced car shopper. My recommendation is to always work out your deal over the phone on a specific car before going into the dealership. Most dealerships will avoid sending (email/text) you a full price break down with MSRP, destination fee, tax, title, license, document fee, Etc. They all want you in the dealership so they can wear you down and confuse you to death. If Camelback can keep working deals the way the worked mine they will be the best Kia dealer in AZ in no time. read more

I bought a car at this dealership three years ago, and when the vehicle was totaled I went in looking for a new car, two years ago. To this day I receive an average of two to three calls from this dealership per day. I have blocked their number. I have asked them to stop calling. I have even had to list them under my contacts as 'Do Not Answer' because of how often they call. Their voicemails have absolutely no message, just their sales representatives laughing in the background. When I stopped answering their phone calls, now they submit requests to text me. If this does not stop I'll be contacting the better business bureau to file a complaint for harassment. The year I bought my car I had nothing but good things to say about this dealership. Good morning Mr. Esposito Our initial experience was very good with Camelback Kia. We appreciate the sales manager Tristin coming out and talking with us explaining that we were paying a slightly higher price for peace of mind. We came in to test drive a 2018 black Kia soul. I was very happy with the way that the car drove. I didn't want to spend quite as much money as what was asking so we ended up leaving and they were going to try to locate another vehicle within our budget. We came back the following day, he was willing to adjust are down to posit to allow us to purchase a rearview Camera, a value of $250 which was more or less a dealbreaker for me as my last car had a rearview Camera. Financing went without a hitch, our credit is good so we got a great interest rate. Prior to walking over to the finance department, Payton was going to locate a second key for us. Tristan and Payton both told my husband and I that they would either find the second key or assist us with making a second key. At no time did he say we would have to pay for a second key. I also mentioned this to the finance department that we were promised a second key. I Received a call from the finance department the next day letting us know that we got an even better interest rate than what we initially thought which was great news. I mentioned again to our finance lady that we were still needing to pick up the second key. She informed me that she would pass the message on. The following day which was yesterday, I reached out to Payton to remind him that we still need to make arrangements to pick up the second key. He was off site and said he would return my call after reaching out to someone else to see if we could go down and get the second key. I received a call from Tristan, the sales manager and in essence we were told that there was not a second key and that we would have to pay at his cost for a second key. At no time where we told initially that we would have to pay for a second key which can be very expensive. He went on to explain that there's no guarantee that the car that's a trade-in would come with a second key. I told him I understood that but that we were told that a second key would be provided. I then let him know that I would have my husband return his call as I was pretty disappointed. My husband then call Tristan and was told the same thing. My husband I think got into a bit of a piss fight with Tristan which is really unfortunate because up to this point, our experience was very good. But again both my husband and I heard that we would be provided with a second key. We were not told that we would have to pay for a second key. I would very much like to resolve this issue. I do not believe that we should have to pay for a second key. Other than this issue, the rest of my experience with Camelback Kia and the staff went really well. It was a oil change coupon and it said they charged extra for synthetic oil. That fine, so I call and ask a service advisor how much more. They tell me $15 more. I just can't help but ultimately feel bamboozled here. Our history with Camelback Kia Service is unfortunately a long and checkered one. I received a call for an oil change for $29.99. The person calling set the appointment and I let her know I had a factory recall as well. She told to set the appointment online for the factory recall. I did that. I also had a tire pressure gauge that was not working. This was supposed to be covered under our warranty, but of course the LAST THREE TIMES we brought our car in they did not have the technician or the time to fix it...and even though I was PROMISED I would be taken care of, I wasn't. Our car simply died twice and the battery was dead, so I specifically set two dates to have their specialty technician look at our hybrid battery, and of course, he was not there when we set the appointments. I moved on from those frustrations and came in for the mandatory factory recall, and so when I came in I was expecting an oil change for $29.99, the tire gauge to be repaired and to be charged somewhere close to my original deductible, and then for the factory recall to be fixed. I did the other necessary upkeep that was recommended; brake fluid and coolant fluid replaced, and I ended up paying nearly $700. I was immediately met with a "no we can't do an oil change for $29.99." Immediately. I asked do they have people that call and set appointments, "yes, but they must have been mistaken." Just an unreal beginning, middle, and end to my time with Camelback Kia. Our warranty is up, every person that has worked there from the beginning and knows our car has moved on and been replaced with new people that don't seem to care or have the empathy to make it right. It is what it is, and Camelback Kia is a place we will never visit again. read more

I had a written deal with a nice salesman Ryan to purchase a new telluride at 1.9% but I had to wait months until it came in, which was fine, but when it arrived the manager told me he would only sell it at 3.9%. When I tried to explain our agreement he threatened to sell the car to someone else. These are HOT cars so he used that to strong arm me. I will just pay off the car, but completely unethical behavior. I tried to work with the dealership directly to resolve this so I didn't have to write a bad review, but after more than 5 contacts (phone and email) with the guy in charge of handling customer issues, I got nowhere. He kept promising to have the finance director call me but never happened :(. I'm very happy with the car, but I definitely would not do business again with this dealership. My first experience at this location was very warm and inviting. I took my 2014 Kia Sorento into the Service Department to have my passenger seat removed. I foolishly dropped a very special ring inside my car and it somehow managed to disappear. Adrian at the Service desk was very kind and assured me that Kia would do their best in trying to locate my special ring. The quoted wait time was two hours. The waiting area was very spacious, clean, quiet, and modern. Coffee, water bottles, and a vending machine was also available to clients. My ring was located in just under the quoted wait time. I would stay away from Kia and this dealership. My wife and I owned a 2012 Kia Optima. The engine blew at 60k miles. Kia refused to repair it. We had no other option than to purchase another car from them. We owed approximately 12k on the old car and they gave us 2.5k. We paid 40k for a 25k vehicle. Their warranty sucks and they are not the most honest dealership. Kia has ongoing litigation and we were contacted about our old vehicle and new vehicle. Trying to get records from them is kind of like pulling teeth. What are they trying to cover up. It is sad that you have to threaten litigation to get a simple service record from them. I was told it only needed a set of new tires in the front and a battery well turns out the only thing they did was replace the battery I waited two weeks for just a new battery which I could've done myself my front tires are almost completely bald I have a knock the car was delivered with no coolant and it was leaking out of the radiator hose. I don't know what's going on with this dealership but I highly do not recommend it no one knows what they're doing the service is terrible I just don't recommend this place at all will never be coming here again or recommending this place to anyone read more

I have had repeated issues with brake and daytime running lights on my car, and have taken my car to camelback kia numerous times to get them replaced. Interestingly, I have found that my model of Kia has had issues with the daytime running light system, and Camelback never notified me of this, which doesn't surprise me at all considering they wanted me to run a $250 diagnostics test on my daytime running light system, when, recently, I was easily able to find a slew of people online who have the same issue with their daytime running light as I do. Every single time I have taken my car in to replace the bulb at camelback, (which has been roughly 3-4 times over the last 14 months) each bulb costs me roughly $90. Being a college student, especially with the rise in inflation of every day necessities, spending over $400 in a little over a year on my car isn't exactly easy, so to test if I was being scammed/taken advantage of, I decided that this morning (3/14/24) I would take my car to Mark Kia in Scottsdale to replace the bulb in my brake light, and they ran me $36. Camelback also tries to scam you on getting a bunch of things replaced that arent necessary, for example, the second time I took my car to camelback for a bulb replacement, they told me my air filter needed to be replaced. I replaced it, and 3 months later when I came back to replace my daytime running light again for the third time, they told me the exact same thing, most likely thinking I would have forgotten about the air conditioning filter being replaced the last time I was in, but unfortunately for them, I'm not stupid. The service up-charge is criminal for one bulb, and if I had known that $90 wasn't standard for one bulb replacement, I would have gone to Mark Kia a long time ago. I fully recommend taking the extra time to drive to Mark for any service needed on your vehicle. read more

Its been sitting in my driveway for months, it now needs a new transmission, I called and spoke with the manager Kyle with a smile (how cheesy is that, the name alone tells you something) and he said they would make it right. He never gave me the time of day, he paired me up with a very young sales rep that tried to sell me a used car 35K! I walked out, and then had it out with a manager in the parking lot that STILL trying to sell me a car! He spoke to me as if I were stupid. Worst "customer service" experience EVER! From the moment I arrived on the lot everyone had a poor attitude, but lucky for them they had the exact car I was looking for. So despite the red flags, I went ahead with the deal... my MAJOR mistake. Between the games, the " I don't know, you will have to talk to someone else", and the lies, I have ZERO idea how they are still in business. They sent a lot guy to fill out paperwork with me so now I am dealing with the repercussions of that, and they refuse to help. Spent way over what I should have on a remote start, only to have some after market POS installed.. was I ever told that would be the case? Does anyone care to make it better? Obviously not.
