I will always take my cars to Tran's Auto. They are extremely knowledgeable about cars and the prices are so reasonable and fair.

Got my rear brakes done for WELL OVER $100 cheaper than mainstream! I should've gone here for the fronts. I've been hearing good things, and they're in my neighborhood, so....... Will come again! VERY fair pricing, as you might know they have to compete with the Mexicans. Incense burning outside the corner of the building. Spiritualism flows to the people..... PRO-TIP: Arrive early morning so your car is done by 1pm or something depending what's being done. There are some cars on the lifts from the day before, so be patient. They're busy for a reason! read more

I was having an over heating problem with my minivan they were able to diagnose my problem and quickly fix it and get me back on the road. I highly recommend trans auto repair they are very friendly and helpful and affordable read more

My Family car has been driving a little bumpy, I'm no car expert and do the best I can with checking fluid levels and tire pressure. Took my SUV to Trans Auto, and they did an all around check, called and explained everything they found that needed repairs now and things to consider down the road. Car parts can get costly, Trans Auto offers options for replacement and explains in detail the work that needs to be done. They are honest and work with me to get my SUV back on the road. I am grateful and will continue to seek their advice for my vehicles. Thank you Mr. Tran and Sy - -Thank you to the experts at Trans Auto read more

My 2005 Sorrento started overheating and Midas told me for sure it head gasket!! 1500 bucks. I took to Tony Trans auto repair and he diagnosed as thermostat! Only 150 bucks to repair!! I will only go there now. Thanks Tony Trans!! read more

Their are few auto repair shops where you trust your mechanic. Tran, Coey, and everyone at the shop are welcoming, do fantastic work in clean , very clean auto garage. I had gone to Tran years ago, but thanks to Yelp, and others who. wrote a great review, I am able to reconnect. Oil change, fluid check, stuck gear shift and it was very reasonably priced. He's not in business to lose money, although its rare to fund honest, trustworthy. mechanics. all my experiences with Tran have been positive outcomes. Trust me when I share these words. I'm not one to fool around with crooks wanting high dollars for changing a light bulb. Kudos and FIVE STARS! read more

Tran's Auto Repair - Auto Repair Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Best auto repair in town!!! I've been going for over ten years and I couldn't be happier with the service. Very trustworthy, reliable, and never one issue when I get my car back. I highly recommend Tran's Auto. read more

The owner Tony diagnosed my air conditioner fan problem within 30 seconds and I was very impressed with his skills as an automotive repairman. Five Stars ***** read more

Guys a jerk. Wouldn't fix the brakes on an old 1972 classic Ford F100 completely restored when I live right across the street. Say cars too old. He says fix it yourself. Well I have a broken hand. So not an option. Sorry Tran I have four other cars as well two daughters with new cars as well. Your loss. read more

Excellent and reasonably priced mechanic. Tran is honest, as in, I trust him. I leave my Kia Soul overnight so he's not rushed. His small hands impress me as he can reach the engine areas without using extender tools. That's cool. I've shared my experieñces with my brother and friends, and use Tran's as their "go to" mechanic. Tran is talented mechanic, the best I've found in Phoenix area, and no other can top him in repairing, oil changes, inspections, etc for my autos. For real!! Go to his shop and promise you won't be disappointed! read more

Called this morning about break repair and asked if they quote over the phone or if I need to bring my car in... apparently that wasn't an acceptable question because the woman hung up on me. read more

Tran is always fair and quick. I have never felt he charged me more then needed. Several times he has suggested parts were cheaper online and he was happy to install them. All the work.he has done has held up. read more

This place is AWESOME! Let me tell, I was very pleased with the customer service and fair pricing. I came into the shop today to get service done to my 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara. I am very happy, my car is in great condition! The employees are super friendly. Whereas most auto repair shops are seedy and try to yank every last penny from you, Tran's Auto Repair is honest and open with the customer. They tell you what fixes are urgent and need to be done immediately, and apprise you of what fixes aren't so urgent but should be taken care of sooner than later. Their prices are very fair, and they always try to use after-market parts to keep costs down, which I think is cool. They can use authentic brand/manufacturer-specific parts if you wish, you'll just pay more. The mechanic allowed me watch as he conducted the repairs, pointing things out to me. He even wrote down for me the things that would need to get done to my car next time I come in. Today was my first visit here, and I will definitely be back within the month to take care of some other issues under the hood. This auto repair shop gets an A+! read more

This is exactly the place you're looking for. Service was fast and he didn't try to up sell me on anything. I will be returning for all my future Jeep problems. read more

I came in for a new U-joint and he installed it incorrectly. They are unaligned and make the whole driveshaft tremble at 40-45 mph. He also reused the same old worn out clips; one was broken and halfway off by the time I noticed the problem. This makes me think it's more of a careless mistake than an inexperienced one. I'm leaving 2 stars because he was nice and offered to take a look at the problem. I was traveling through so heading back to Arizona isn't a possibility. read more

Great service. Car broke down Friday night. Had it towed here based on the reviews and it was diagnosed and fixed the next day. Fair price and no upselling pressure. I highly recommended this shop! read more

I have been bringing my 2008 Prius to Tony for YEARS! I must say that the Pruis currently has over 500,000 miles and Tony keeps it running beautifully. The mileage on my car is a testament to Tony's (and his team's) skills and professionalism. His prices are phenomenal, his work is professional. Tran is, in one word, TRUSTWORTHY read more

Tran's Auto is honest and reliable. He tells you upfront what is going on and if it's necessary. I've brought 2 vehicles here and when I buy my new car later this year I'll be bringing that one also. I trust this business implicitly. read more

I have yet to be disappointed by Tony. He is the man and charges fair prices. What I tend to do is go get my regular oil change at the dealer that includes the multipoint inspection. The dealer will tell what I "need now." I take it over to Tran's and he tells it to me straight and gives me a real timeline on what I need and do not need. All I have to say is Tran is the Man! You will still pay market price for the parts but his lower labor prices and honesty are his selling points. A real good guy. read more

I have been taking cars to Tran's for years and have had nothing but GREAT experiences! They are knowledgeable, honest and have saved me money every time. It's so nice to find a place and people that you can depend on! read more

Rip off!! Trying to charge me $70 to connect the headlight outlet, after I had done the work and I just needed it properly placed. Found a place that charged $15. Don't come here, poor customer service and outrageous pricing read more

We've taken our SUV to Trans a couple times. He had been upfront, honest and is normally pretty quick. We had been led to believe there were 'more' problems at another repair shop but Trans didn't find any 'extras' that needed to be fixed. We recently brought in a used vehicle with many miles on it to have him check it out when we bought it. We were sure a repair was needed but he did a complete once over and found nothing. Customer service was great and the cost was extremely fair. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this shop even if you have to travel a bit to get there. read more

My AC died on the 10 on my way back to LA when it was 110 degrees outside. Desperate I fired up yelp and found this place, they squeezed me in before end of day, we're totally up front about everything and took care of everything. While it sucked to have AC bust crap out in the summer heat of Phoenix, glad it happened near these guys!! read more

Went to another mechanic and every time we try someone new, we return to Tony. This time I took the car in for an oil change and a "look over" and the estimate for new brakes was $2,100. The whole truck isn't worth $2,100. We took it to Tony, who smiled at us and then fixed our brakes for about $400. We love Tony. We decided as much as we like to patronize other local businesses from time to time, we're sticking with Tony. read more

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Charges a fair price and fixes most things quickly, and won't run up the bill with unnecessary work and charges. Save your money and take your out-of-warranty car to Tran's instead of the dealer. Your wallet will stay fat and happy and your car will run great! read more

Every time I try another shop I always come back to Tony with my hat in my hand. Thanks again for taking care of my stuff

After receiving outrageous quotes for work I knew I did not need to have done, I happened upon Trans Automotive. I decided to stop in and see what inflated numbers Id get hit with. To my astonishment, I was told what I actually needed and given a far lower cost than the other guys. The work was performed and my truck was purring like a kitten again. I came back for another visit and told the owner that my 2005 Toyota Sequoia needed to make a trip from Arizona to Seattle Washington and back. Also, that it needed to pass emissions testing. Again, I received a bill that was more than fair when compared to competitors. Let me tell you, my truck passed emissions and it drove like a champion through 5 states! Not a single issue. Trans Auto is the most reliable and TRUSTWORTHY auto mechanic shop in all of Arizona. I will only ever bring my vehicles here. I live all the way on the other side of town in Queen Creek, and I will still make the drive to Trans! Thanks guys! read more

Took my TC in on a Saturday and quickly got a run down of the cost of brake repair and what needed to be done. Waited in the lobby while the work was completed and had a great overall experience. Tony also took the time to show me the problem with the brakes and the parts I needed. Top notch service, with honesty and integrity! Will gladly come back for any repairs I need in the future. read more
