I went with her to make sure she was getting a quality tire. Woody's had a couple tires to choose from. I checked the manufacturing date on what looked like the the better of the two tires. It was only 7 months old! They mounted it, repaired a small leak, mounted it again, verified no other leaks, balanced it and put it back on the car in less that 15 minutes. For less that a third ($35) of what she paid new for each of the other three coincidentally matching tires, she left a happy person. That was now 4000 miles ago and the tire had been great.

Instead, they're transparent, matter of fact, and only suggest necessary services or parts at the times when you'll need them. And both times I've been shocked at how inexpensive they are. They even jokingly asked if I wanted them to charge me more after I was so surprised. One tip is to pay in cash to avoid any card fees. For each service, Saguaro had beaten the prices of every single other local and national repair shop in the Valley - by a lot too! The other thing I love about this repair shop is that you don't get yanked around and nickel and dimed for every little thing. Just this week, I took my car in for annual maintenance and to replace a few of the engine blocks that were causing my car to vibrate. I asked Gary, since he already had my car, if he could do a once-over on everything to make sure there weren't any other issues. Now, must shops would take this as an opportunity to go to town on someone and upcharge them for every little thing they could get away with ("oh, we definitely see that your random obscure gasket needs to be fixed, that'll be $800"). This shop isn't remotely like that, and in my case today, he simply told me everything looked fantastic and that was that. He even checked my battery and gave me a rough estimate of how much life it had left.
