My family has been coming to Ha's Auto repair for many years now, even when he was at his previous small location. When we have ANY auto need from an oil change to something more complicated such as a rack and pinion change, brake change, blown engine fan - this is our go to spot! He is one of the most honest and straight forward mechanic AND person that we've know. He'd finish the service for our car and would let us know what else he found and the urgency of it. I have been taking my car to Ha for over 16 years. He is honest , and trustworthy. I would never take my car anywhere else. He is a man of integrity and will not overcharge you. His prices have always been very reasonable. I recommend him to all my friends. He probably doesn't even know everyone I've recommended and who now go to him for all their car repair needs. He is very skilled at what he does and takes the time to explain matters very well. He quoted to be $550 which is still a good deal since my mom had brought her car to another place a few months back and they were already quoting her $330 for two things (Sorry I don't recall what my mom said since I overheard her talking to a friend about it after Ha told me what 8 things that needed to be fixed). Obviously it's the labor that affects the price the most. For Ha, he care more about the quality of the service and satisfaction of his customers than overcharging for labor. Ha and his repair shop are simply the best and amazing. I'm not exaggerating this or trying to play it up. He is the best repairman and mechanic around. Let me start by saying he is nice, fair, honest, funny, and incredibly reasonable. That is all true and isn't enough words to describe him and his shop. I have been going to Ha for just short of 20 years now and he has fixed my cars and kept them running while being efficient, knowledgeable, and again very reasonable on pricing. Things to know about Ha - you can bring your own parts if you know what you're ordering and need done. If you don't or you aren't comfortable with that, perfectly fine. He will get you the part and only charge you what it actually cost him. He also tells you ahead of time the price and charges you what it will actually take him to do a repair - unlike shops that say X repair takes Y hours per the standard repair book. (I'd hope any mechanic in business longer than 6 months could do most repairs faster than the Haynes manual aimed at shade tree mechanics). He also aims to actually repair things if at all possible. He's not a 'let's buy 400 expensive parts' and will instead use his vast knowledge to truly fix the item if he thinks it's at all feasible. Also, Ha doesn't add or up-sell you anything. You need your oil changed? He changes your oil. He's not going to sell you a brake repair before you need it done and he'll explain you have 20% of your brake pad left. He'll have you come back in a few months and look at them then and if it's not necessary to repair it, he won't. Lastly, be smart - pay in cash. read more

This is my 2nd time going to HA's for work on my 2001 Toyota Camry. Each time he has been friendly, professional, quick to get me in and out at a VERY good price. I am willing to drive 14 miles to HA's because the closer shops fix the wrong things for higher prices and require me to leave the car over a day or two. I had been to 3 other shops, spent money and days and if the problem looked fixed it did not stay fixed long. I think they did not know what was wrong and was fixing everything.
