Worst experience. I brought my car in for a low tire pressure warning and waited 45 minutes inside the shop with no updates while employees stood around chatting. I only saw the inspection report because I happened to check my email, no one said anything. When I asked, they said nothing was wrong but recommended new tires. The associate seemed unsure if they even checked or filled the tire. When I drove away, the warning light was still on. I called and they claimed it would reset automatically and if it didn't it is a sensor issue. Completely false. For my car, tire pressures must be manually stored to reset. It's clear they did nothing. Absolutely ridiculous service. read more

Went for a Tire repair / replacement on Sunday. The woman at the service counter was very informative and clear. The service only took an hour. She kept me updated as my car was inspected. Any questions I had she gained the information first and then responded. They also told me I possibly needed my battery replaced bc it was testing low. Replaced it today and happy to have known that! I brought my company car in here the other day 10 minutes early for my appointment. Long story short, there was confusion between the cashier and the payment center. After an hour of back and forth, I was consistently sent to the back of the line of new customers. The last straw was when I finally had the cashier in front of me with the company car payment center on speakerphone to clarify everything, then he took an incoming call, and then immediately started working with another person who cut in front of me in line. 1.5hours later, I left with nothing done to my car. If I could give zero stars I would. Not only to this location but ALL firestone locations. They 'Offer' all of these 'lifetime' warranties, but when it comes time to fix what the sell you they either cant fit you into their schedule or try to change the parts that are warrantied. In the specific instance at this specific location, I was told I was being charged for to brake pads and two calipers that would be under warranty for 36 months because i also had them change out my brake fluids. They are now telling me, my pads and rotars are warrantied but that they dont warrant calipers. These guys are con artists. If you are looking for a fair and honest auto shop, this is not the one. read more

I got to the spot to have some work done, all the workers looked my way and ignored me for 20 minutes. They only had one car to work on and multiple workers just kept chatting and ignoring me. I called the store and was left on hold for 15 minutes. It really is not that hard to just say "Hey I'll be with you in a bit". But just straight up ignoring me for 20 minutes is wild. We all have bad days at work, but it's not an excuse to be rude. read more

1 star. Where to start? I made an appointment to simply rotate my tires for the following afternoon. The next day I was told they were backed up, bring my car in when they first open up (7am), and they promised they will rotate my tires for free because of the inconvenience within 20-25 minutes because I start work at 8am, as well as driving out of town later that morning. Next day: I bring my car in at 6:55am. I ask how long it will take, and they quote 45 minutes to an hour. Already a discrepancy in my expectations given from a previous rep. I ask why the difference, and they reply, "I don't know I wasn't apart of that conversation." No accountability. 8am rolls around and still no update. I call in and they advise me that I need new tires because of the tread life on them. I'm fine with that and ask how long this will take. They tell me it will be done in the hour. Another hour goes by and still no update. Starting to see a trend here, I take initiative again to call in. They state that the inventory has been delayed in being delivered. It should be there in the next 30 minutes. It is now 9:30, I have an interview at 10:30 and still planning to drive myself and others out of town by noon. Still. No. Update. I call in again and they say there has been another delay. No problem because I can't control this and neither can the Firestone, but keeping me updated is the least they can do especially since they have given me expectation that my car would be ready on time. It is now 11:30, I have finished my interview and am off work ready to drive out of town. I show up to the location and they inform me yet again that there's been a THIRD delay and that one of their employees will have to go and pick it up themselves. So roughly two hours go by, and no update of another delay. After sitting in the location's office since 11:30, my car is finally ready to go with the new tires at 1:30pm (a whole 4 and a half hours later than promised). I go to pay for the two new tires, and the representative offers to take $40 off my invoice for the inconvenience. I think, "Oh that is nice of them." HOWEVER, later that day when I look at the invoice I see, "TIRE-DISC Epic: $40 off $200 Tire Purchase." They we're already having a $40 off $200 tire purchase so I should've already been given $40 off in the first place!!! Nothing was done for these many inconveniences, misguided expectations, and lack of updates. Unacceptable. I even note this on my review that they send via email and they say they will follow up within 48 hours. It's been over a week and have yet to receive any follow-up. Not shocked here. A little word of advise for your employees moving forward, "Under promise and over deliver." read more

I see a lot of poor reviews on this location but I've never had an issue. As a college student they always go above and beyond to walk me through options and the problem. They'll even explain it over the phone to my parents if needed. They are super helpful, knowledgeable, and DONT do unnecessary things to your car like other places do (suggest filter or part replacement when it's not needed). Ivan Awshalim is a very sweet gentleman and again very knowledgeable and helpful. I'd 100% recommend this location over ANY other mechanic in the area. I've had nothing but issues and reoccurring problems with other mechanics and this location has been perfect so far. They squeezed me in when I was in a rush and prioritized my understanding of the issue over just fixing it quickly. Again highly HIGHLY recommend this location. read more

There was a bit of a miscommunication issue but Dustin went ahead and made things right for me as a customer. I trust their work and I trust their employees. I have been going to this location for years and having 4 cars serviced. Daryll was the manager we always had exceptional service. I moved to Surprise which is 40 miles away but because they were so honest at fletchers, I still drove to take my cars to this location. Firestone took over and they are horrible. I took my daughter's car there because the ignition was stuck, the ac was perfect and was something they also previously replaced. They also replaced the idler pulley, and obviously not right. I get it back and the car barely runs, ac clutch is going out, its loud and sounds like it's about to fall apart. I called immediately and they take no responsibility. They will be happy to check it out, and I can pay again! Whatever they took apart and put back together, something happened. I will never go back here again. Very poor customer service, the tech was extremely rude. read more

They told me I needed to replace my tire and when I took it to a different auto shop they said my tire was fine. This place notoriously rips off women and young girls to their advantage. I always come here to get oil changes, tires rotated, and to get air in my tires. They have a specific line you pull up that says "free air pressure check". Usually an employee will walk up to my car and check it immediately or tell me they're a little busy it'll be a minute (understandable). I pulled up today and they looked a little understaffed but many employees walked by my car without saying a word with me waiting to get my tires checked. No one bothered to tell me they're busy or if I can wait or come back in a little. They all completely avoided me. Was waiting there in my car while they're just starring at me for about 10-15 minutes. Horrible customer service! all need to be more friendly and communicative. read more

I took my car in for a noise and constant rattle on the left front end of my car they told me it is my transmission and I said no I know its not my transmission it's has something to do with the left tire took it in again for oil change and look at the left front end the mechanic came out and told me it's my transmission and a bunch of other stuff to take my care to an auto body shop. I looked at him and sad do u think I'm stupid because I know its not my transmission he got in my face and said yes it is and I said u must be stupid. Took my car to Auto shop on 22 Ave and camelback told the what was going on they fixed it that Day it was my front struts and showed the old ones. The person checking me in found no record of my vehicle nor my appointment (even when I showed him the confirmation). I had the day off a decided that this would be a good day to get my tires rotated. I have used this place before for oil changes and headed up there. I was greeted by the service writer (I didn't get his name) and he wanted to take a look at my tires. He immediately told me that my tread was separating from all 4 tires and that I need new ones. I thought that was ridiculous. I know a bit about cars and I knew that I had plenty of tread and the car rides great. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and told him I cant buy new tires now and I left. I went straight to a Goodyear dealer who told me that my tires are fine. I am writing this to warn people about this place and this guy. I am sure he gets plenty of suckers to fall for his false sense of expertise. read more

I am sitting waiting for my vehicle which I dropped off at ELEVEN AM, it is now 4! The price quoted differed by about $100 AND THEN the guy acted as if I was unreasonable for asking the work be done by 3! No point in making an appointment because there is no respect for your time here! The site has a choice to wait for your vehicle or pick up later, it should say to be prepared for a whole day without your vehicle. I also had a 'coupon' which is totally useless. Steve assisted us. Myself and my children got a flat tire on the way to school and work. Not only did he pull us right in , but he also had excellent customer service skills, great telephone etiquette and he was soooooo quick and efficient...we were able to get to school and work only an hour late. I came back 2 days later for new all 4 tires, 4 brakes and rotors...all because his customer service and care deserved my service. When you're taken cared of with HEART, the cost isn't the greatest thing customers look for. I was more than willing to spend my money here, because I felt honestly cared about. I had a nail in my tire.. explained that all 3 of my tires were bad and the one with the nail wasn't replaceable. Manager said they had run out of 79.99 tires but had a good deal on 4 tires at 160.00. I could tell was just pushing a sale. Politely declined and went to Costco where Joe a 35 yr tire pro walked out to my car pulled the nail out and checked it 5 times to make sure no leaks were happening. Told me that every tire store employee relies on commission but Costco and that I almost paid 700.00 for nothing.its been 3 weeks and my tires are fine. I went in because of a oil leak for under the engine on the driver side. Firestone replaced my valve cover gasket on the other side of the engine was not leaking and oil pan filter for $1,000.00 plus. On top of this they did not clamp my wire harnesses back to there proper location they just left them with no insulation rubbing right against the hot engine block which would have cost me a lot of money to fix if the wires had burned. I was taking a chance trusting these guys. I am a aircraft mechanic and these guys would not be on my team. That's what I get for not having them point out the leaks to me. The leak was repaired elsewhere it was the power steering hose line leak. I suspected this all the while I needed to confirm it. read more

Fletcher's was bought out by Firestone. I had purchased tires from Fletcher's less than a year ago and had a minor repair on one tire. After a lot of confusion with the new computers vs the old computers, they were able to take care of the repair at no cost. I hope for them, they can merge the two systems to make it a smoother process for the customer. The employees seemed stress and it was taking away from them being able to take care of the automotive needs. read more

I had been a loyal customer of Fletcher's since the late 80's. When the Glendale & 43rd ave shop shut down I switched to the Dunlap location since it was close to my moms. I live in the far north valley but was used to that location so I made the lengthy drive. For the most part the service was always prompt and reliable, until I took my 2 collectible cars in for some minor repairs. Daryl told me he was short techs and he could store them in a bay and work on them as he could. I said that would be okay since I was laid up with surgeries. After almost a year I found out they had been getting left outside and Daryl finally told me they had been vandalized, (majorly) when I called.. I kept asking Daryl and he kept saying he would get them repaired. He did not. Never even attempted to repair them. Then this past spring he called me to say they were being towed back to my house as policies had changed, or in other words, Fletcher's was being sold. I now look every day at my 2 cars that now have thousands of dollars in damage to them. Daryl still runs that location, now Firestone, but I will not frequent it. Plus the fact the old repair records were not accessible makes it doubly bad. I don't wish this experience on anyone and hope no one ever treats Daryl or his family as badly as I was treated. read more
