I first used Revive Auto Care to replace a control arm on my Infiniti QX60. I found them on Yelp, appreciated their positive reviews, and liked that they communicated over text. That repair went well, so when my AC started blowing hot air, I decided to return. They initially charged me $100 for diagnostics and a refrigerant top-off, then told me I needed a new compressor and quoted approximately $1,200. I dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday. By Wednesday and Thursday, they still had not identified the issue, but they continued replacing parts including the compressor, condenser with receiver drier, premium line kit, secondary rear AC expansion valve, blend door actuator, cabin filter, and recharged the AC system. By Friday, the vehicle was still not repaired, and they ultimately determined that the battery was bad and not providing enough amperage to properly run the AC system. They replaced the battery and told me the issue was fixed, which naturally made me question whether all of the previously replaced parts were actually necessary. The total had also increased to approximately $2,500, and at no point during the process was I contacted for approval on the additional repairs and charges. When I picked up the vehicle Friday evening, the AC was still blowing hot air. In addition, the vehicle was revving abnormally both while driving and while sitting in neutral. It is now Tuesday, and my messages have gone unanswered. On Saturday, I brought the vehicle to Infiniti for another opinion. I was told that the AC system had been overcharged by 1.73 lbs of refrigerant, which they said was causing the issues I experienced after picking the car up. I understand that diagnosing AC problems can be difficult and unexpected issues can happen, but the lack of communication, failure to request approval for major additional repairs, and returning the vehicle in worse condition than when it was dropped off made this a very disappointing experience.

He was on time, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made sense, didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary, and made sure the job was done right. My A/C is now blowing cold again like it should, and the car is running perfectly. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about doing a quality job. On top of that, the convenience of him coming to me saved a lot of time and hassle. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and honest mobile mechanic work.

However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.

    This is an update that I gave Kole what he asked for and we have plenty of more video and photos…read morethat clearly show the turbo being removed although Mr. Williams repeatedly have said that it never happened it clearly did happen. We have plenty of proof, including affidavits that we're getting from the mechanic shop, phone calls, text messages and overwhelming evidence again people watch who you hire even when you provide proof it seems not enough for someone that doesn't want to take responsibility for the bad work done these are all my opinions except for the facts that I have and will be providing in court. I tried to resolve this with Mr. Kole showed him evidence. Let him know what I had and he still refuses and said I will see you in court clearly this is someone that doesn't want to take responsibility. I will be updating after it is resolved in court. Everything expressed is of my opinion.

After the installation, I took my car for a ride and there were many warning lights on the dashboard. Not sure if they damaged all the sensors on the car but all the sensors are now giving me warning lights and these warning lights will not go away. If you have newer cars, DO NOT let these guys fix your cars. One of the mechanics was hitting the back rotor with a huge hammer very hard to get it off and must have damaged all the sensors, I guess. Another possibility is that the other mechanic was using an electric saw to cut off the dust covers and might have cut a cable to cause all the warning lights to show up on the dashboard. I sent them an email about all the warning lights but no response from them. They were able to install the 4 rotors and 4 calipers just fine but the brakes don't feel very tight and feel loose when hitting the brakes. I have to push the brake pedal almost all the way down to the floor in order to stop the car. I recommend these guys if you have older cars with no latest technologies. They have damaged my new car. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: 6/2/2025 Took my 2024 Nissan Z to the Nissan dealership and they found 2 problems with my 2024 Nissan Z. They told me the technician Kyle and another technician from High Idle Mobile Mechanics who installed the brakes on my car damaged the ABS sensor and the R/F HUB BEARING which will cost me about $1658.50 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wheel Bearing Replacement - Front: DIAG VEHICLE AND FOUND DTC RF NO COMM WITH RF ABS SENSOR. INSPECT SENSOR AND FOUND THAT SENSOR IS BROKEN. AND HUB IS NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY. RECOMMEND TO REPLACE R/F HUB BEARING AND ABS SENSOR AND RETEST --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have emailed the owner Kole Williams and provided the Nissan Repair Estimate and have requested that Kole Williams send his technicians to repair the damage that his 2 technicians damaged my car. So far, I have not heard anything from the owner Kole Williams. I believe Kole does not want to take responsibility to fix my damaged car or provide a refund, and fulfill the warranty for installing the brakes. I have emailed the owner Kole Williams and provided the Nissan Repair Estimate and have requested that Kole Williams send his technicians to repair the damage that his 2 technicians damaged my car. So far, I have not heard anything from the owner Kole Williams. I believe Kole does not want to take responsibility to fix my damaged car or provide a refund, and fulfill the warranty for installing the brakes. As of today, my car is still not fixed. All the warning lights on the dashboard are still on and the left and right blind spots are still not working.

I once went to Brake Plus because I had a coupon for a $20 oil change and it turned into a $500 repair. I said: never again. John and the crew at M and M Automotive are very honest and reasonable. I never ever have to worry when they're working on my car. Whenever I've ended up going somewhere else--it's been awful. But at M and M, it's always been a great experience. I can't stress enough how they've never let me down. Thank you guys for all you do!! 4/13/2020 Went in for an oil change. They just charged me for the oil change. They were nice enough to leave me some notes on my receipt for potential fixes I may want to make in the future. Which I appreciate. I realize my brake pads are going and they caught that too. 08/2019 My radiator or transmission (? I don't remember) busted while I was coming home from Walmart. Got it towed to M and M. Signed up for some credit of some place they recommended and accept. Got my repair done and paid off the credit no prob. My car also needed to pass emissions testing so I could renew my registration. They got the emissions done for me after they did the repair for me!!! That was really nice of them imo. I wasn't expecting that either. I figured I would need to take it to the emissions place myself.

At first it feels real basic and no frills, but I have always been given the most honest treatment. Now, I go there, my husband, my brother, a couple friends and they all love it. Today I was reminded of why I have taken my 3 cars over the years to this Mechanic. I kinda do the bare minimum on my cars, it's just how I am. I've been driving around with my check engine light on and tire light on for awhile now. They have seen it at the shop over time, checked the codes and knew it was nothing to worry about and told me to save my money. I was doing my emmissions testing at the last minute and wouldn't pass the test with the light on. I even tried having an engine light check at a chain where it gets temporarily turned off so I can pass the test. My 2013 Toyota Prius C is now 13 years old so the turning the light off at the auto chain truck didn't work this year. I took it to Precision, they sourced a fuel pump for me, repaired the other small issues and test drove the car multiple times with different fuel pumps to see what would work. Today Frank called me and said light is off, problems are fixed and apologized for the price and time. I knew going into this it was going to be pricey and take some time so I was all good. HE EVEN TOOK MY CAR TO GET THE EMMISSIONS TESTING DONE, since my tag had expired due to my procrastinating. WOW I already been a loyal customer for over 20 years and they still take such good care of me. He also had been telling me over the last week that it was going to be more expensive due to what's needed done, and was trying to avoid getting all the work done so it wouldn't be too expensive, and just get my emmissions test to pass. I'm just blown away by this service and HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRECISION IMPORTS. Also, Frank still calls me kiddo cuz I was 17 when I first went to the shop and was recommended by my Dad. No one calls me that anymore I'm almost 40 . Also my old hybrid is covered in Pro Democrat, Gay Pride, pro choice, anti-Trump, vegetarian, environmentally Conscious bumper stickers. Has a faux fur steering wheel cover, big cushions on the seats. Very me, very gay, and I've never heard anything negative or bad about it from anyone who has worked there in the last 22 years. Go To Precision and Give Frank some love, it's a great company.
