I already had a grueling day getting battery replaced. Decided to get oil change done too. Went to this location since it is close. Was happy to walk into a very cool (as in air conditioned) place! Mark was talking to another employee about car parts for customer. He acknowledged my presence. I told him car needs oil change and I have a great coupon. He began doing intake. Told me he had a van similar to mine years ago. He told me they will do a check up on vehicle and let me know what might need to be fixed etc. This car is 32 years old--I know things need fixin! It did not take very long (and I was not only one waiting) for Mark to show me what Ken, their knowledgable mechanic found. He broke it down for me , and told me which should be done right away and what can wait a bit. I told him I need to get emissions test done so which will help with that. He told me which "issue" should be fixed first for that. Those "issues" have been discussed with me by a garage close by, but the cost was not workable then. I will have Ken replace the parts before going to emissions, to ensure passing! Ken also put the clock to correct time, since after battery change it was not correct. I'm sure the manager is a good guy. He was very nice. I'll give him that. But just a suggestion... He might need to take notes on what the customer wants him to look into. I had a couple of things I wanted the experts to check. After 3-4 phone conversations with him, he couldn't remember what I asked him to look at. I told him I was done. I got the car back, drove next door, and they helped me. Took 30 min. All done. Not to be rude but, DUDE!!!! Carry a pen and notepad. Write something down for God's sakes. read more

I recently took my car in as my check engine light was coming on.Dropped it off on Friday and picked it up on Saturday. When I walked Up to my car I noticed a huge crack in my driver side window. I got out of my car went back in and spoke to the manger Mark and mechanic AJ. They both came out and looked at it, said they'd get back to me. Fast forward the following Wednesday I hadn't heard from anyone. I called them and asked to Speak to either Mark or AJ and were told they were unavailable. Thursday I get a call from the manager stating they aren't at fault for my windshield and won't take any responsibility for the damage, despite taking pictures and checking off on the inspection report that my windshield wasn't damaged when I dropped it off. But he'd be happy to give me a free couple of oil changes. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. And the owner did call me and said the buck stopped with him and he wouldn't pay for it as I had small rock chips ( no where in the vicinity of the where the crack started) that's probably what happened. So bailment, having a business take possession of your car and return it in the same shape as it was given doesn't apply to Big O. Corporate greed at its finest. Once again. This Big Os IS the place to go. I had two nails in both of my driver side tires and since I had Big O tires there was no charge. You have yourselves a committes customer. I've been using Big O for many years. They recently built this one 7th St which really cuts some drive time for me. I've had a really great experience each visit. I recently bought a new tire, replaced the troublesome lug nuts that came stock with my vehicle, and had an oil change. All services went great. I'm impressed by the oil change report. It includes photograph findings. Generally the cars in good shape but the report included photos good and bad. (I.e. tire thread, dirty filters, brake pads/rooters/fluid, etc.) Really impressed. This is good if I ever wanted to sell my vehicle too because it gives the buyer a visual. Reasonably priced too. They helped me save some money with honesty. read more

I'm newer to the valley and had my tire blow out on the interstate the other day so I called around to a couple of tire spots since I was still on the clock for work. Big O Tires was the first mechanic to immediately answer the call. Michael was the person who helped me out and not only did he not leave me on hold but he also provided me with a solid tow company to call to get my vehicle super quick and they had both my front tires fixed in under an hour! Michael even asked if I wanted an alignment and provided time estimates for how long it might take. After the tires I might have had some extra time before work, but it would be cutting it close so he just asked if I'd like to come back later and didn't try and sell me on more with my time restrictions. Michael also gave me a clear and straight estimate for the life span of my back tires and only sold me on what I needed instead of pushing for replacing all 4 tires. Overall I thought the service at Big O Tires was timely, affordable and considerate and I'd highly recommend them and will be going back for all my other tire needs :) read more

i had an appointment for 10am for the healthy car special and the items listed on what inspection would take place did not happen . only the oil change . and it says premium oil but I did not receive premium oil .it shows in my receipt what they did and everything listed on coupon wasn't fulfilled . the inspection isnt a inspection it's just what they can see walking around car . when I tried to understand what I received the gentlemen got agitated and said I didn't tell him I needed certain things inspected and that they will mark things checked and ok if they don't see anything walking around the car . and then stated it was a deal cause the oil change is normally higher ....i can change my oil myself or go to take 5 for $30-$60 dollars . so not happy with the customer service and false advertisement. the manager did offer for me to come back and get corrext inspection but I already waited 3 hrs for my car and that should have been done in the first place . read more
