When my sister moved from Virginia, they had a crew of 5 people to help wrap and pack the truck, which made it a quick and seamless process. All of the loaders were friendly and very careful with every box. Guide and Taku drove the moving truck from VA to NY and called Kimmie to let her know they had arrived. They were flexible the following morning with the early unloading time of 8am. We had a 3-stop move with 3 movers: Isheanesu, Julio, and Elias. this team took excellent care with our items and moved quickly. Very careful and patient with our personal items. The quote we received was much more reasonable than others (by about 50 percent). We could have saved more if we had our own packing supplies (tape, shrink wrap) and could avoid the credit card processing fee. every buck counts! Just finished a local move with this company and rushed to post this review. A++++++++++ from start to finish! I called about 5 companies for quotes-never heard back from 3, got a ridiculously high quote from a 4th, and thankfully found Call The Movers on my 5th call. Linas picked up on the 3rd ring (shocked face emoji, a live person??), gave me a VERY reasonable quote (hundreds less than other company), and responded to every other inquiry almost immediately. They were able to get me on their schedule very quickly, the movers (Joseph & Ilaya) showed up early, and were so thorough in wrapping and packing a fairly fragile china hutch that all my worries about it breaking along the way were allayed. (The woman I purchased the hutch from was also impressed and requested their information for her next move!) After moving the piece into my home the movers "reset" all the furniture I'd moved out of the way to clear space for them. Totally unexpected and a very kind & classy move on their part. In the weeks leading up to my move from Northern VA to upstate NY, I was getting quote after quote from companies who couldn't provide an exact date of when my items would be delivered. Call the Movers was the only company able to guarantee next-day delivery and they stuck to their word. They sent a team of 5 people to load the truck in under an hour, and the 2-person delivery team left for my new house directly from my driveway. The team did a great job carefully wrapping and securing each item in the truck, which ensured that everything remained in one piece. My delivery team, Guide and Taku, did an amazing job moving bulky furniture around very tight corners and went the extra mile to ensure that my newly refinished floors and painted walls remained pristine. While helping us move, they broke our semi-new wooden table ,we only had this table for a year and a half yet when helping us move the leg of the table Was snapped off and broken beyond repair ,however, I do appreciate that they tried to fix it with wood repair glue, but unfortunately, that didn't work out ,also a few of our other furniture was dented and scratched in the moving process ,I would only recommend this moving company for non-fragile objects/items read more

This is my first review ever on Yelp- that's how good these guys were. They have moving down to a science! We moved an hour outside of DC- they had my entire apartment and storage unit, packed up, driven out, and moved into my new house in less than 3 hours!! That includes the hour and a half driving time. They also did all of this in the middle of the worst storm I've ever seen.... Not to mention my 500lbs desk and 800lbs gun safe. I could not recommend them enough! Hopefully I'll never have to move again, but if I do they're my first choice. PS their quote was $1200 less than everyone else. read more

My experience with these movers was really bad. They were over an hour late. The lead mover complained the whole time. Almost none of my things, although carefully wrapped and boxed, was undamaged. The movers at my destination were shocked, and took many pictures. They reported that the boxes had been packed "heavy on light." If I could give them six stars, I would. We've used their services to pack and load Pods for a long-distance move. The management team was helpful and responsive, and the loading team polite, professional, and efficient. We had a last-minute glitch - we had more stuff than would fit into the Pod we ordered, and we were moving out of the house that day, and they were incredibly flexible and helpful- got the stuff loaded onto one of their trucks and cross-loaded to a Pod the next day for a great price. Particular thanks to Arniss (the manager we dealt with) and Sean, the packing specialist, who has a gift for filling every cubic inch of a Pod to make the best use of the space you're paying for - like playing Tetris in 3D. read more

Linas and Arnas are the best movers I've ever hired! They were HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, and PUCTUAL. They provided excellent care for our belongings and arrived when they said they would (for both the local pickup and long distance delivery). As can be expected, pickup and delivery weren't without issues, but they made expedient and appropriate corrections to each issue. For example, a piece of furniture was slightly damaged during pickup, but they had it repaired to its original state. At delivery, the truck had a small leak and a few boxes got wet (contents were unharmed). They got restitution from the truck rental company and passed it on to us! Who does that?! We used Call the Movers for our move from Fairfax, VA to Lake Wales, Florida. They were great. Linus came to our house several times to review and answer questions and he went to our storage unit and made an inventory. (The other companies refused to go to the storage unit because they "know how much stuff is in a 10 x 20 unit"). We didn't have any faith in their quotes. They were also brokers who would arrange with a larger moving company to relocate our belongings which would be placed on a moving van with other peoples'. While his prices were a little higher than the other companies, the service was fantastic. Dealing with Linus made the move so much easier and the more we worked with him the more confidence we had in him. The people who loaded the truck were the only ones involved. They were the same people unloading in Florida. They were careful and took extra precautions in making sure everything was protected. Our belongings were the only ones on the truck and the delivery was made at the exact day and time as promised. AND we were not asked for our final payment until everything was unloaded and placed in the new house. The price was actually $100 less than quoted. While I am still unpacking, I haven't found anything broken or damaged. I can't recommend Linus and his crew highly enough. There are no horror stories with this company.
