Daniel and his partner were extremely quick and responsive. They showed up ahead of time and wrap up + brought to a truck litterally in 25 min. The whole process took less than 2 hours and all our furnitures and boxes have been taken care well. Highly recomended

They poorly packed my stuff into my two storage units. Some things broke or were smooshed. They stole extra $40 from me and gave me a poor lie for why they did it. They had to send me a $40 check after I called them out on it. Their boss wouldn't believe me and defended them, almost to the point of scolding me for accusing them of stealing... only for their lead mover to apologize to me with a weak ass lie. Edited to elaborate, since Susan continues to be in disbelief and refuses to think it's possible her employees would do such a thing and to make all of you potential customers aware of my experience: I counted out my cash out loud maybe 3x. The lead mover saw that I had multiple $20 bills amounting to hundreds of dollars. I laid some of the $20s in piles on my vehicle dashboard and counted out the cash to the amount that I owed, rounded to the nearest $20. When I gave him the money to count, he gave a fake sigh and shook his head and said I was $40 short. I didn't believe him and asked him to count again. He said I owed $40 more. So, I gave it, but I felt lied to. After that, I still tipped them smh. I shouldn't have. He left and I recounted all my money. Now I was short $40, meaning if we subtracted what I owed to them from what I withdrew from the ATM and also subtracted the tip, I should not be missing extra $40. I did the math multiple times and brought it up to Susan and the company. They accused me of lying and trying to steal from THEM. Susan said "it's only $40! I'll just send you a check. It's only $40." (Mover's name here) later texted me and apologized and said he got confused. He said when he counted the money, he set the $40 aside in his sock because it was tip. That's why he asked for $40 more. That doesn't make sense? When he counted the money in front of me, he never put any money in his sock. He just counted the money and looked me dead in the eyes and said I owed $40 more. I also didn't include tip until AFTER he said I owed $40 more and we settled what I owed first. Susan, the reason why I didn't pick up when you called today (8/10/26) is because you showed me months ago that you are argumentative and not interested in listening to me or believing me. I already know you're gonna argue like before and probably pressure me to take my review down. I took months to post this review because I knew you'd do this, call me and claim I'm lying or have your business confused with another. But if you thought that, if you truly couldn't find me in your data base, then why did you call me just now? Looks like I was in your data base after all.

I hired RADA Express Movers for a local move in July 2026. Several of my belongings never arrived,…read moreincluding my bicycle, several high priced electronic items, two large palm plants, and other personal items altogether worth several thousand dollars. Here is what matters. Building staff at my old apartment confirmed that my bicycle had been left on the loading dock, and they held it for me to pick up. Yet when I reported the missing items, RADA told me its crew said, with complete certainty, that nothing had been left behind. That was wrong, and I had a witness who could show it. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the company dragged this out for months. It asked for documentation, then for surveillance footage, then for receipts and proof of ownership. It ultimately fell back on the position that without video it "cannot simply assume" its crew left anything behind, and that it "does not admit liability." A missing video doesn't turn a wrong statement into a right one. I replaced several of the missing items immediately, same models, and I kept the receipts and original packaging. I sent a final message laying out the full timeline. RADA never responded. This isn't about the money. It's about a company that was proven wrong on the one item we could verify, and still chose to deny, delay, and then go silent rather than take any ownership. If that's how they handle a bicycle with a witness, imagine your claim without one. If you're considering RADA Express Movers, I suggest you reconsider. Their flat out denial of any wrongdoing will leave you feeling helpless in the event that some of your items go missing too.

So after receiving a few quotes from a handful of businesses, I went with Potomac Moving due to the speed of their response, clarity in communication, pricing and overall warmth and professionalism. In our first phone call to walk though my needs, they were very assuring and accommodating, which is a such a relief in the midst of stress and coordination that comes with planning for a move. They were also always very responsive in the few times that I reached out between the time I paid the deposit and the actual move. A night or two before, I sent at email regarding wardrobe boxes, since I was debating whether or not I should buy and have a few delivered to me. The owner responded quickly, assuring me that wardrobe boxes were tried, true and if I wanted to buy any directly from them that I could. That ended up being a great call, because they were able to properly enforce the boxes so that even the boxes filled with my heaviest coats remained in tact. On the day of the move, the movers were communicative regarding their arrival time. They were also very nice and hard working. I had a few large furniture items that needed to be disassembled and they ended up being quite beasts to tackle. But they worked diligently to break them down. Once it came time to move things to my new place, that was a breeze. One gesture that I thought was just so classy, was the owner called in the middle of the move to check-in on how things were going - I really appreciated that. Overall, would definitely recommend PMC - they're easy to work with, fair and transparent about pricing and you're sure to be met with professionalism!

Scheduling this company and receiving a quote that was SPOT on, was amazing. The communication from Ana was perfect. She kept me in the loop about arrival time, send out a confirmation about my booking, and even helped me change my original date to something sooner. Originally, I was quoted a timeframe between 1-5pm, they showed up an hour EARLIER! To some this may have been the part where you panic, especially if you are running small items back and forth to your new place, to me?? This was PERFECT, because I was able to have a headstart for my long moving day. The truck was large enough, both movers came in and were polite, patient, and did not make me feel uncomfortable when handling my items. They wrapped all dressers, tv stands, coffee tables, and TVs and ensured everything was delivered carefully. No frills, no stalling for extra time (you do get charged hourly if you exceed your allowed time), and just straight to business. All in all, I do recommend booking for your next move, the price is unbeatable and the workers are great. Once again thank you very much!

I had had a great experience with them just last year when I last moved and knew they'd be able to get the job done again. My project was immediately responded to and they were able to help me move two weeks later on their soonest available date. The three movers, Pat, Renaldo, and Kevin were incredible. Communication leading up to the move and theday of was great. They were able to move all my large furniture within 2 hours. Everything was wrapped carefully and efficiently. They were kind and thoughtful, helping me make adjustments to the furniture layout once we got to the destination. Their positivity through one of the hardest situations I've ever gone through was much-needed and made me feel confident in entering this next chapter. I even had a last minute change to the destination (originally everything was going into storage but I ended up finding an apartment just in time), and the professionalism and patience from the entire Bookstore team through this change was excellent. Pricing was reasonable yet again and came out to about $500 (excluding tip) for the truck fee and moving of 16 large items. Thank you Bookstore Movers for helping me when I needed it most!

We had a dedicated elevator, yet workers often brought items down only one or two at a time. I also saw team members on their phones or standing around in rooms and hallways instead of actively moving things. These delays added up quickly. The crew also misplaced parts of our bed frame, and the pieces had to be found before it could be reassembled. That alone added nearly an hour to the move. Because the move took much longer than expected, the final cost was significantly higher than the estimate we received. We were also charged based on an arrival time that was recorded as ten minutes earlier than when the crew actually arrived. The team was courteous, but given the inefficiency, added time, and higher final price, we would not use Bookstore Movers again. This is unfortunate, because we had been happy with them in previous moves.

Not only is his name on the business, but he also leads the crew. That says a lot. They serve apartments, condos, small townhomes, more than whole large house moves. They also do partial moves, or heavy furniture moved from room to room, and moves into and out of storage. We had to move out my mother-in-laws belongings after her passing. Service Quality: They came on time, ready to work, and were very professional. What does that mean? They were respectful of our belongings, did not damage walls, disassembled (and properly reassembled) beds and furniture, wrapped everything well for moving, loading and unloading. They worked relatively quickly, steadily, and did not waste time. When loading, they placed large strong items in first and did not over-stack, and secured everything for safe transport. In order to get the most out of their services, you rent the truck, bring moving straps (rachet tie downs), and the moving blankets for however much you want to move. This ends up saving a lot in moving costs. They bring tape, hand trucks and four-wheelers, and plastic wrap. Recommended: Overall, they have very reasonably rates and communicated very well. Moving is stressful enough. Working with them was actually a delight. I have already recommended to a friend, and he was also delighted. I will use them again when I need smaller moving services, and cannot recommend them highly enough.
