The moving guys were great. Robert running the crew knew exactly how to manage heavy furniture and get it out of crazy spaces and around corners. They handled the furniture really well- and they were quick. read more

Excellent!!! From the initial phone call (FaceTime) where we evaluated what needed to be moved. Received an estimate which was very reasonable. The moving crew showed up on time- and were quick - yet very careful- with the our items. We were allotted 10.5 hours including drive time. The crew was done in about 8. All were very professional and efficient. There were no surprise additional charges when we settled the bill. Would highly recommend A bit about our move. We did a move about 75 miles away. We packed and unpacked the boxes ourselves. read more

Everything went beautifully from start to finish.. from the estimate to the packing & the moving. 4****

Great service. The crew showed up on time and worked quickly and carefully. They moved a couple unwieldy items (piano and treadmill) with no problem whatsoever. They were also very transparent and honest on pricing. I'd use them again in a second. read more

We had a terrific experience with our All Star Movers team. The main moving team were well-trained and very careful with our belongings which included some fragile antiques and marble pieces. Additionally, they had a specialist for handling the care of setting up our antique piano. Our move included emptying one storage unit, moving selected items into another storage unit in a different building and then bringing item back to our home. The crew was on time, geniunely professional and just really pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend and hire All Star Movers for other local moves in the future. read more

Very reliable moving company. Scheduling our move was a snap. Great crew- timely, courteous, hard working and efficient. We had a complicated move with half of our household goods going to long term storage and half going to short term storage and returned to the house in three weeks. The crew leaders were very well organized and made sure every item went to the right place. All Star is just a very good firm and more than competitively priced. read more

We had a fantastic experience moving with All Star Movers. We were moving from our townhouse in Northern VA to Winston-Salem/Greensboro area and I was particularly interested in working with a mover that would deliver our possessions straight to us without having several other clients on their truck as well. And All Star Movers was a company to do just that. We scheduled a walk through and was introduced to Billy, who took his time walking through our house, assessing what we had. He gave us some recommendations and encouragement to pack as much as we could ourselves to save on costs. I told him what I thought I could pack up and the areas that I wanted them to do. Later that afternoon we received their quote which was very reasonable. For long distance moves they provide a flat rate with no additional payments at the end. For any packing they had to do they have an hourly rate per packer plus materials. We told them our date and they were able to schedule it. A few days before we were to have the packers come, we contacted Billy to do another assessment as to what they would need to pack. He did a virtual walk through and determined that they could pack and load in one day instead of two. On moving day they gave us a 1/2 hour heads up and arrived on time. Josh, who was the lead and the rest of the crew were very pleasant. They took great care with our furniture to not damage them or the house as they maneuvered them to the truck. They were even able to take two large plants for us; one being a potted Japanese Maple. They worked tirelessly and were finished in 4 hours. The agreement was for us to meet them 2 days later giving us time to clean the house and pack up things we planned to take ourselves. At our new location, Josh and Kevin met us with our household goods. They were patient with us as we figured out where each major furniture should go. Kevin even offered to move an item or 2 when I decided I wasn't happy with the location. Again they handled our furniture and boxes with care. I highly recommend them. read more

Fantastic! That pretty much sums up our experience with All Star Movers. A friend recommended All Star Movers shortly after we contracted to buy a new home. I called the company and scheduled a virtual appointment with Billy. Billy called me right on time and we did a FaceTime walk through of my home. I was given a quote which was very reasonable and I chose to book my move. Six men and three trucks showed up to my house within 15 minutes of their scheduled time. John, Anthony, Chmiel, Shawn, Kevin, and Jack introduced themselves and did a walk through of our home. Within minutes these guys were grabbing our stuff and filling the trucks. I was blown away at how friendly, polite, and hard working this crew was. The crew worked tirelessly for 10-hours with only a short break for lunch. I honestly cannot say enough good things about these guys. Moving is incredibly stressful, but All Star Movers did everything they could to remove some of the burden from us. I cannot recommend All Star Movers enough, they were that good. Thank you to the crew who helped us as they were nothing short of exceptional. read more

We have had All Star Movers in the past & they never disappoint. We had furniture that needed to be picked up from 1 house and taken to 2 different houses approximately 100 miles from where it was picked up. The movers are professional and do a great job in moving and being careful to not mark the walls. Also they are polite and personable. I highly recommend All Star Movers. read more

They were amazing and thorough. Great group of movers. Went perfectly smooth with NO hassle

What a great team! Friendly service, quick and efficient, and their quote matched the cost -- no markup or hidden fees! Thanks guys!

All Star Movers provides the BEST experience at a stressful time. I have used them multiple times and this was a first state to state move and it was flawless. From my initial request to the office to the very efficient crew loading and unloading. Always on time and extremely kind employees rearranging furniture if necessary when an original plan doesn't work in the new space. Highly recommend! read more

I recently employed All Star Movers on a personal move from VA to DE. They were timely, professional, courteous, hardworking and efficient. They sent a crew to pack and load one day and deliver the next. Everyone we worked with was wonderful. I've recommended them over the years in my professional capacity as a Realtor but had never used them personally. I'm glad I took my own advice. Believe me, I've used other movers and there is definitely a difference. read more

These guys are the best! From the initial consult and virtual walkthrough of our house to the actual move, everything went exceptionally well. Pricing was more than fair for the service provided - an out of state move. Our movers were quick and efficient and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it, even if it meant moving some things after we changed our minds. Highly recommend!!!! read more

We have used AllStar Movers in the past and were pleased but this past move was disappointing. We were given an estimate and thought it was on lower side but of course were pleased. After move, we find out that the bill was just for packing. We had done an incredible amount of work to make packing easy. No under the sinks, no closets, no clothes, packed twenty boxes. They argued that they had sent us an email with the move quote of over which would make cost over $1,000 more. We did NOT receive that. I think there should be a contract that gives expected total cost. The packers were incredibly slow. Moving was just weird. Two guys who seemed very competent showed up but at the end. Just Beware that you have ALL information and hope you get the good crew. read more

All Star Movers are 5-STAR in my book. They arrived on-time, took great care with all our possessions and had us moved from a 3200 sq. ft., home our new home in 3 hours. You'll love them! We definitely will use All Star Movers again for any future moving needs! read more

I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a move that is VERY reasonably priced. Their staff, from the start, was so professional. The consultation was done via FaceTime which was very convenient for me. I was given an overestimation of how long the move would take which really made it easier for me to financially prepare. I paid one hour of the move in order to reserve my spot. Everything went very smoothly and I was sent reminders leading up to the move. On the day of the move, the movers arrived at 9:15am and they were well-prepared. There was a short inventory period and the movers got right to work. They were very efficient, friendly, and careful with our items. Our estimate was for four hours and they got in done in 45 minutes. We were very pleased with the work that they did and very grateful to have had such great help with this move. You pay by the hour and unlike with a lot of other companies I researched, I only paid for one of those hours to hold my spot. There is no other "minimum" for the hours. Like their emails stated: the better you are packed and prepared, the faster the move will go. Their efficiency and care with our items made this process great. We will definitely be using them for our next move. read more

We used All Star Movers to help us clean out our basement prior to a remodel. They were terrific! Excellent communication with John prior to the move and the three guys who showed up were efficient, organized and dedicated to the task. We would definitely use them again! read more

Moved the end of August and I'm still dealing with this moving company. My initial moving quote was an 8.5 hour move for 3 men. I was okay with the estimate from Billy who was very helpful. I called a few days before my move (they didn't ask for a deposit to hold the date) to make sure I was on their calendar and confirm my moving date. All was good. Come the day of my move, there were 4 men - I thought it was odd but nobody mentioned anything to me when I called to double-checked my moving date and none of them said anything the day of so we carried on with the move. All was fine - the guys were fast and the move was completed during the time frame Billy initially estimated. However, when it came to the bill, they upped my hourly charge by $50 per hour for the extra man. I paid and signed the document and told them I'd reach out to the dispatcher to review the additional charge. BIG MISTAKE - DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING - I was hoping All Star Movers would at least split the difference. No, nothing. I called All Star Movers the following week and didn't hear back when they said they follow-up. I called again a week later and Tom, the dispatcher said sometimes they add a man to the move if they think it'll go faster etc. (no mention of them letting me know of this change that they've ADDED another man AND the hourly rate would increase BEFORE the move) and that he'd get back to me.... Crickets. I disputed the charge with AmEx and because I had signed the final receipt AmEx wasn't able to refund me the difference. I called Tom again on a Thursday after AmEx refused my dispute to see if they'd split the difference and he said he'd reopen my dispute and call me back early the following week.... Crickets again. I'm eating the additional cost and it's a shame they wouldn't get back to me. The overall move was good, communication during the move was good and they provided the wardrobe boxes which is helpful. If they had told me they might add another man to the move and that my hourly rate would change WHEN I CONFIRMED MY MOVE a few days beforehand we wouldn't have this issue. It's the principal, you can't increase the hourly rate and add a man without informing the customer beforehand. If it wasn't for this issue I would've used them again to move but customer service is #1 and they failed at that. read more

All Star Movers were wonderful. They packed my two-bedroom condo with care. Kept my stuff in storage and brought it to my new home. They were friendly and always made it work. They were great and I would highly recommend them. John and his team were best movers I have ever had! read more

From day one they truly are "All Stars". The Virtual quote online by Billy was great and the price quoted was exactly what we paid. The team that moved us were professional; they wore mask as part of the safety protocol. They never complained when we asked them to do something or add more items to our move. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is moving! read more

I moved a little over a week ago. The start of the move went well. However, towards the middle of the move they added a 4th mover . He introduced himself and said he was there " Because I had too much shit." Later on when I asked one of the original movers why they had added another mover, he stated it was because they were unsure of the weather, ( It was raining pretty good, and there were weather alerts. ) He also stated that I had more things than they thought. However, he said it nicely and told me not to worry about it. While moving items into the truck, one of the movers kept running into walls and such. Once I got to my new home, they were moving boxes upstairs, and made 3 hefty size dings into the walls. ( This is a brand new townhome!) Once I was unpacking boxes, I noticed that an almost entire dish set were broken. ( I even bubble wrapped them very well.) I will definitely not be using them again. read more

We sold our home in Falls Church last March and put all our furniture and belongings in All Star movers' warehouse for nine months. Today all those items were delivered to us and they were, once again, so polite, careful and accommodating for all our wishes on placement of boxes (too many!!) and furniture. As I was unpacking fragile glasses and china today, I commented several times on how well everything was packed. Everything arrived perfectly! This is the third move where we have used All Star and would never hesitate to use them again!! read more

We were really impressed with Jason and his crew. Unfailingly polite, professional and fast from start to finish. From backing the truck up our tricky and skinny driveway to loading our cherished stuff and delivering it all intact there was no damage to anything at all! Their quote was a bit higher, but totally worth it--fixed price for an interstate move and no hidden charges. Jason moved us out of a home we lived in for 21 years into multiple storage units with grace and organizational wizardry. Thank you! read more

So efficient and friendly :) Arrived right on time and did a great job for me.

There is seriously nothing more stressful than moving and all star movers makes it SO much easier. Of course asking a couple of your friends to help with their SUVs and trucks is a lot cheaper, however i definitely think its worth the money to get All Star. They are all friendly and hard working. I've used them three times now and every time they've moved me in only a few hours (granted they were short moves and i moved all my clothes myself). I've never had any concerns about them breaking stuff or losing studd or not knowing what they are doing. When you call, ask for Billy. Hes really nice and willing to work with your budget! read more
