As we were visiting local galleries along Canyon Road, we stopped in for a cup of tea. The bathroom was disgusting. The staff was pleasant. It took a very long time to get a cup of tea. The decor is whimsical but maybe get a cup of tea before you head out to the galleries.

Were walking and window shopping at Canyon Rd, we decided to take a snack in this place. The weather was perfect and terrace was perfect for us to enjoy something different!! A Greek salad with lamb, Hummus plate, stuffed greed bell pepper and saganaki. Live music and great service!!

If you're strolling Canyon Road to lookie-loo all the fancy-schmancy southwestern art, then you're bound to see this popular watering hole and wonder, like Jamie W. and I did, whether it was worth a stop for a bite and a sip. It is albeit briefly. The patio was quite inviting though the live music was a tad dreary as she performed a weepy guitar as she sang. The bad news was really that their House Margarita was pretty watered down (photo: http://bit.ly/2KAcL47). Somewhat more passable were the $8.95 bowls we ordered. Jamie tried the Green Chile Stew which was meaty enough and provided a nice kick. The bolita beans and potatoes made it hearty, but the shredded cheddar was overkill (photo: http://bit.ly/2KBa7ew). Mine was the comparatively blander Pozole which they stress is homemade even though the tortillas tasted store bought (photo: http://bit.ly/2KIMl0j). Middling fare among the sculptures. FOOD - 3 stars...nothing too memorable here and a disappointing margarita AMBIANCE - 4 stars...best part of the meal was the patio SERVICE - 3.5 stars...kinda ok TOTAL - 3 stars...not a Grand Canyon find RELATED - Do you know the way to Santa Fe? Ordered the Greek fries and a margarita. It was very good, great little stop while visiting the art galleries.

Convenient little spot on canyon road. Stopped in for quick glass of wine but no food so no suggestions on how the food is.

Very good food and dog friendly. Nice view in a great location for a break in the main gallery walking area.

Food is out of the refrigerator, onto your plate. OK if you want cold sandwiches. They have a big TV running Fox News constantly. Really?

The coffee is amazing, the service is great, and everyone is always so friendly! I love trying some of the different flavors, especially the chile and lavender coffees. My husband likes more of the refreshing, lemonade-type drinks. One of his favorites is the James Bond, which Ape from Wind River Trading Company recommended to us. So if you go, try the James Bond! They also have a beautiful patio upstairs where you can sit and look down over the street and just enjoy Santa Fe. It has such a nice atmosphere and is a great place to sit for a while, have a good drink, and people-watch. Definitely one of our favorite little stops when we're in Santa Fe. We'll be back!

The minute we walked into this coffee shop, we were kindly greeted by everyone working. Then, we were given a sample of their caramel sauce that is house made. Apparently, a majority of their syrups and sauces are made in house which is a PLUS. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with caramel drizzle. I've been to a lot of coffee shops and dare i say that this was the BEST VANILLA LATTE i've ever had! We sat outside (they have outdoor and indoor seating which is nice). We had accidentally spilled some coffee, thankfully Kagome was so SWEET and HELPFUL, she immediately came to clean up the mess. Thank you again Kagome! We truly appreciated the staff and the entire ambiance of the shop. Definitely will be coming back!!! Last note. If you're not a big fan of coffee, then I 100% recommend the horchata (it's made in house). SO GOOD!

As we sat down I took a glance at the other tables. Few had orders of tea, although most everyone had ordered food. That probably should have been a sign not to order a tea. A single glass of ice tea was $10, and oversteeped to the point where the tannins had taken over. At other teahouses I've been to cross-country, that would have been an entire pitcher, correctly timed. The servers were very pleasant, but were struggling to keep up with the silverware. We had to ask twice to get forks and knives, and unlike other tables, did not receive a fly-repellent fan. The food wasn't too bad, but also had room for improvement. I ordered the corn and cucumber gazpacho with shrimp. The soup itself was pleasant, but the tails could have been removed and the side of tortilla chips wasn't a good combination with the soup. With a bit of improvement, I might really like this spot, but it's not quite there yet.

Otherwise, service was super friendly and the place has good vibes just in general. Both inside and outside seating, plus really cute decor and lots of natural light. For food, I ordered 2 different empanadas - the Santa Fe and the Jamon y Queso - both very good. The chimichurri sauce they came with was outstanding. I wasn't that hungry so 2 was enough for me but their flights looked like a good option too. They also have salads, sandwiches, and all kinds of main dishes, so there is something for everyone.

Cafecito has been showing up on my reels and it looked like the kind of special I wanted. Just a few steps away from the Railyards, this place seems to be in its own island, in a quiet corner. The place is simple in decoration, with lots of plants, plenty of natural light, and a cozy vibe. The manager or owner greeted us. We started special the right way . Staff took a little longer than I expected to take our order (or I may have been veeeery hungry). However, our order came quite quick! The hubby ordered the Santa Fe and Carne Empanadas with lentil soup. I ordered the Gaucho to get some range. The empanadas were quite good and tasty. They were on the medium size, well packed with protein, with a nice and soft pastry. The Santa Fe had very fragrant green chiles and good seasoning on the chicken. The Carne had an amazing taste on the wagyu with a bit of spice and sweet with those peppers. The lentil soup was thick and tasty with every spoonful. The Gaucho, unfortunately, was not as successful as the empanadas. The sourdough was thinly sliced and perfectly toasted, pairing well with the butter and quince jam. The provolone and tomatoes were confusing, but they were well portioned. The eggs were fluffy and ok, nothing to die for, just well executed. The flank steak relied a lot on the chimichurri, which added great acidity, but without it, the steak did not have its own seasoning or flavor. It was satisfying, but the visuals tricked me into thinking it was going to blow my mind. Overall, this is a nice space to hang with friends for a special occasion and enjoy some tasty options. I'm interested in returning to try other things. I like when a place sparks my curiosity.
