    Stuffed Grilled Chicken
    Madeline F.

This place was so great! We started off with the grilled bread and caprese. The grilled bread was surprisingly tasty, they had garlic grilled on to it and it was just wonderful. We had the grilled stuffed chicken and fettuccine di carne for our main meals and they did not disappoint. The grilled stuffed chicken was more of average but the carne pasta was so good with a very nice sauce. The server was very friendly and attentive. We were the only people in the restaurant at 7 pm on a Wednesday night and it was very nice to have a quiet meal. We did see them turn a guy away around 8:30 pm even though they close at 9 pm due to then being so slow it looks like they were closing early. Keep this in mind if your headed in late!

New take of Italian food from people who love good food. The service is outstanding and definitely there will be a nezt time. The ambiance is clean and sober with class. The menu has Italian dishes interpreted in a South American way.

small cozy restaurant with good food. We chose this because it was close to where we were, we were hungry and it was getting late. Glad we did. Excellent service. Will definitely put on our repeat list.

The service was super slow. I ordered 4 glasses of water with lemon and it just took forever. I think they gave it to the other table of 4, then she brought us plain water, when I specifically asked for lemon. No big deal, she brought us lemon after but for me the small details is all tha matters between 15% and 20% tip. I ordered the stuffed chicken and it was burned. The side zucchini and mashed potatoes were ok. The pasta dishes were done al dente but very salty. The worse was the fried calamari. It looked and tasted like someone didn't like and they re fried it. Small, greasy and overcooked, especially the shrimps. We saw the same order in another table and it looked fresh.

We had the Zucchini Blossom and just wow! Not like anything I've ever had before. If you can imagine the lightest, most airy fluff of cheese with a thin airy batter - so good! Entrees were the fish special - I can't remember what the fish was, but it was very mild and my husband loved it. I had the scallops and as I do not like chipotle sauce, the chef made me the lemon butter sauce on the side. This combined with the polenta was absolutely amazing! The scallops were small but perfectly seared. We were too full for dessert, so we will be back before the end of our trip! Thank you for a wonderful meal. Side note - our waiter (from France) was awesome! Loved his recommendations!

They were cooked perfectly, sadly they were drenched in a spicy sauce, like mole and it was not very good. I had to scrape it off to enjoy the scallops. Hubs ordered branzino. I realize branzino is an oily fish, but his was excessively oily and not good at all. I ordered a Tito's and soda that may as well have been soda. Hubs had Manhattan the was very red when it arrived. It was overly sweet and he didn't like it at all. So many choices for food in Santa Fe. This was awful.

The restaurant is roomy and lively. It's right across the street from the Hilton, where we stayed! My colleague ordered pizza to go on the first night, walked over and returned back to hotel room! I should have done that too! Our party of 6 came from Hawaii and just trusted the process...we ordered several wood oven pizzas (sorry I didn't pay attention to what my friends ordered ) I had the Tartufo - omggg it was to die for!!! the food is amazing and affordable! We would come back again and again if we could!! The employees were friendly and helpful! We were leaving the next morning so some of us took the leftovers and ate it at our stopover!! Located in the Plaza off of San Francisco St., we didn't realize there was it's own parking lot that is shared with others around the corner (we parked at a public structure for 5 bucks 2 blocks away). This is an order at the counter establishment of which I do not care for, especially if it's pricey (which it was). We started off with the house salad for 7.50/ea and totally not worth it (just some lettuce tomatoes and dressing with a piece of bread). 2 of us had pizzas 1 a calzone and another pasta. Pizzas were ok, but a good size for one big appetite or to share otherwise. The calzone was HUGE but my friend did not care for it (vegetarian) as she said it had too much goat cheese and lacked flavor. My friend's pasta was just average. With a bottle of cab and 2 soft drinks, the price came to a pricey 120 bucks before tip (the servers do deliver your food and drinks to the table). Would I come back here? Probably not. I have had others word of mouth that also did not care for it.

We ordered flights of white and none of them were cold enough. I understand if they had been reds, but on a hot summer day, one just craves a cold glass of wine and/or bubbly. Once we were done tasting our wines and the food arrived, we had to ask a couple of times/people to remove the large glasses and apparatus they rested in from our table since there wasn't room for everything. The hummus and pita with hot honey and feta was pretty good, and our son loved his pasta dish from the kids menu, but that was the extent of the magic here. The paninis the rest of our party ordered were again, just ok. When I went to the restroom I was appalled. There was some really gross stuff sticking to the wall next to the toilet; I couldn't tell if it was barf or poop, but it really turned me off. Good thing we were already on our way out. The atmosphere is kind of a New Orleans vibe with a high ceiling and covered terrace upstairs with plants that you can see from the downstairs area. That was nice. The day before when I was walking around the Plaza, they had a big carafe of fruit-infused ice water outside the restaurant with plastic cups for people to help themselves to, and it was super refreshing. That was the best thing about this place.
