Popular spot with bicyclists as located next to the Tiburon and Angel Island Ferries. I've only visited for coffee and pastries: bomboloni and pistachio cheesecake as they both looked and sounded yummy. :: Cream custard bomboloni was not...interior was dry and had texture of scrambled eggs :: Pistachio cheesecake - I'm a big fan of rich, creamy cheesecake and this didn't do it for me as it was more of a no-bake cheesecake - soft and pudding like. Flavorful but not what I was expecting. Lattes are nice and service ok. Will try their savory offerings in the future. Located in Downtown Tiburon with plenty of street and lot parking.
We had a good time here. Coffee was fine, but the ambiance is perfect for a little stop on your tiburon day trip. Price to performance is decent. Would come back if needed something quick and simple on a road trip. We got a turkey sandwich, an omelette and some coffee Turkey sandwich - surprised me I loved the fontina cheese on this. Had a nice bite to it. Omelette - really good and fresh. Packed with veggies.
Lovely cafe by the water! We ordered hot matcha lattes while enjoying the view and calming atmosphere of the cafe. It's such a great place to decompress. On a weekday afternoon, there were just a few people hanging out, on video calls, and chattering. The noise level wasn't too loud though.
This was a cute little cafe on the Bay that overlooks the water. The Strawberry Smoothie was ok but I feel like the Energizer one would've been better. The staff was nice and it was really relaxing inside
Local coffee shop. We stopped here in the morning for coffee. We got their house coffee and homemade scone. It was good. Service is friendly. They have indoor and outdoor dining.
Great Cafe or Caffe! The pastries were excellent. I loved the scone! It is in a super convenient location near the ferry. We took the Tiburon to Angel Island ferry (shortest route).
We were visiting from MO, my favorite part of my entire vacation was walking up to the shore of Tiburon and ordering a Mocha and a breakfast pastry. We tried the chocolate croissant, butter croissant, ham and cheese, panini, and an omelette. Every single food item, every single coffee, every interaction across all 4 days was magical. Sitting on the benches out front watching the fog roll across the city across the Bay, looking at Angel Island, watching the Ferry, and enjoying my the ambiance of the town around us every morning was absolutely amazing. Cafe Acri made my entire vacation wonderful with their friendly, efficient, and delicious location.
A Local Hub, But Not Quite My Cup of Matcha Parking was my first little hurdle. There's no direct parking, so I ended up in the Cinema Lounge lot and paid about $8-9. I know Sausalito is used to paid parking, but in the rest of Marin it always feels slightly... offensive. Especially in the rain. And yes -- it was raining cats and dogs, which made the walk over less than charming, though not unbearable. When you search "coffee shop Tiburon," this is what comes up, so it does feel like the local hub. The place was fairly full when I arrived, which is always a promising sign. Service, however, felt distracted. The person at the register seemed far more engaged with teammates than with customers. I asked about the soup of the day and was met with a kind of aloof indifference that made me immediately regret asking. Not rude -- just uninterested. There's a difference. I ordered a matcha. It arrived in a glass with a cardboard sleeve -- which I will never understand. Why are we serving hot matcha in clear glasses? It's not chic. It's just awkward. Unfortunately, it was also very bad. I didn't drink it. My friend's latte was also disappointing, though at least it came in an actual latte cup. She did love her scone, so that's a point in their favor. I circled back to the soup of the day (zucchini). It was solid, comforting enough for a rainy afternoon, though the bread on the side was a little stale -- which felt unnecessary at a $35 total bill for two people. The pricing overall was reasonable for Marin. The space itself is slightly cold temperature-wise, but aesthetically it has that "a little worn-in" charm. Not polished. Not precious. Just... there. It's new to me, though it doesn't feel particularly new or differentiated. Would I rush back? Probably not. I wouldn't choose it as a meeting spot, especially when there are places like Amalfi Deli or Café Brulé nearby. I do appreciate that it's in that sweet Tiburon pocket -- it should be the kind of place you want to love. I'm just not sure it quite delivers the warmth or memorability that makes you return. I'm still on the hunt for a non-chain Tiburon coffee spot with a little more heart. Rustic near Point Tiburon is reliable (and local-ish), but I'm craving something with more personality.
Their pear sorbet is PHENOMINAL! Very true taste, not too sweet or artificial-tasting. We came at a busy time but the worker still let us to try a couple of flavors before deciding. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. I absolutely love the huge windows that let in the Tiburon sunlight and people-watching opportunities! We chose to eat our sweet treats outside and enjoy the fresh air. If I take another day trip to Tiburon, I'll definitely come back!
I was recommended this place by a close mentor, and I am so happy we went. He said the gelato here was amazing, and I didn't believed it until I tried. And this is, by a landslide, the best gelato I have ever had. It is a small cafe, and it is very cozy. We were able to try a few flavors and decided to get Nocciola and Pistachio Gelato. Our server said nocciola was his favorite too! The gelato was thick and so nutty. The hazelnut and pistachio really shine through, and the gelato was not too sweet. It was honestly a perfect bite and the texture was creamy and chewy. I loved this place and will continue to come again.
If I opened a cafe this would be it. Fresh squeezed orange juice, grapefruit juice, beet juice, smoothies, Gelato, coffee, pastries....it's everything I've ever wanted in a cafe. Their pumpkin cheesecake is almost as good as the Cheesecake factory. The fresh juices were amazing. We bought one of each and also bought their smoothies. Their homemade scones are also good and they have affogato which is also my favorite. I wish all cafes had their selection and quality. Really was my favorite thing in Tiburon. Just leave me at the Cafe and I'll be happy.
Morning walk from our hotel never tasted so good. My cousin and I had coffee and pastries here every morning and gelato at night while on a weekend trip to Tiburon. It's a cozy little cafe that serves food, pastries, coffee and gelato. The cafe mocha was so delicious so was the blueberry muffin. The service was not the friendliest but not too bad either. The ambiance is great with both indoor and outdoor seating. Check it out if you are in the area.
We stopped in without having a real plan after a subpar lunch experience and NEEDING something sweet. The chocolate mousse called to meeeee and my kiddo was mesmerized by the tiramisu. He's 5 so couldn't appreciate how well done the tiramisu is compared to others. It's expertly created so it's still bouncy and not overly wet like some places. They take care to preserve each slice and this chocolate mousse is INSANELY GOOD If you like chocolate and a little crunch, you must indulge. The coffee is hot, the staff is kind, and it's mellow and shady inside which is ideal after being sun-soaked for the past 2 hours.

This is a cute European style café in the heart of Tiburon. It's spacious with indoor and outdoor seating but can get very crowded on the weekends, especially with mountain bikers and tourists. The ferry is just a few stops down the street so it's very convenient to get something for lunch and take to Angel Island. I like coming here to read and then walk around Shoreline Park. read more
I wanted something sweet and came around this cafe downtown. The guava sorbet was really flavorful and the guava flavor did not disappoint. The vanilla bean gelato was really good as well. They were priced at $5.50 each for one scoop. They also had baked goods and yummy coffee that you can smell from a half mile away! I would recommend stopping by for a sweet treat and a quick pick me up while walking around Tiburon. read more

I rarely write non-positive reviews but I'm hoping this assists the owner(s) or managers with addressing the issue. Friday late afternoon we finished an enjoyable dinner and decided to finish with gelato. The gelato was great. Issue: With such nice weather understandably there was a line waiting to enjoy cold gelato. The issue was with staff and the dismissive attitude and tone. Sure everyone has a bad day but when you hear comments "...it's our rush hour you're going to have to wait.." "...I can't serve you you're in the wrong line.." "...what do you want..." Not "...how can I help you..." "...sorry for the wait..." Customer service doesn't cost anything but No customer service will make you lose customers and $ tips. We will not be back and We Do Not Recommend. read more
Corner coffee shop with a Parisian feel outdoor patio. Inside is spacious although a pigeon or 2 will find its way in and hop on tables looking to nibble on crumbs. I find that unsanitary. Why 2 stars - came here for a treat and purchased cookies. They were hard as rocks and crumbled into little pieces. Crappy. My latte with oat milk was ok. read more
Expect to see a lot of breathable spandex in designer colors with matching helmets. No, not the staff. I just noticed a lot of highly monied Marin cyclists come in here and disregard those of us waiting to be served to ensure they have their nonfat lattes for their rides. Oh Tiburon. This is a particularly spacious spot in a prime location right next to the Angel Island ferry terminal. Jamie W. and I should know since we had a few minutes before we were boarding the boat. I decided to get the $4.35 Latte without a speck of spandex stretched over me. It was piping hot as expected, and while they had an impressive pastry and dessert display case, we held firm to our nutritional standards lest we buckle the equilibrium on the ferry. No surprise that this cafe is quite the tourist magnet. Seemed like a decent place to have a quick lunch. A nice pretty spot, a corner side cafe. We got a big bowl of the potato leek soup - it tasted great. Warm and hearty, and just what we needed for a windy afternoon. The caprese sandwich was excellent as well! Who would have thought. I certainly didn't expect it to taste that good. A perfect balance of pesto tomatoes & cheese, on a perfectly grilled bread. Minus one star because our friend's orders were messed up (aka, it didn't even come until we asked for it, and when it did, it came in to-go boxes instead of plates). A little expensive, but still one of the more affordable places to eat in this touristy (but pretty!) town. read more

Well-located Café in downtown Tiburon - fast service, good beverages and gelato. We stopped by twice yesterday, when we visited Tiburon on our way to Angel Island State Park - first before our ferry ride, for gelato and mochas, then after our return, for cookies, sandwiches, chais and more gelato! The kids enjoyed the gelatos, and they make excellent mochas and chais. I was a bit mixed on their sandwiches - the toasted caprese was excellent, a couple of the other sandwiches less so. Seating is plentiful and they are covid-friendly in their protocols. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We ate outdoors and were pleased with the service - prompt and friendly. We will be back next time we are in town. read more
I give this time a 4/5 only because I wish there was more options. Like adding soups would be nice and more selections on sandwiches. Overall there green mango smoothie is pretty delicious I was it was more of a colder side like adding more ice maybe that's just my personal preference. Ok! Let's talk about the food my boyfriend and I ordered. If you are a tuna sandwich lover like me. This place has a bomb ass tuna sandwich panini pressed. I eat a lot of tuna and this place is up there to some of my favorites out there. The fish wasn't fishy and not even salty as well. So if anyone that sensitive to sodium overly this might be a good sandwich for you if you like tuna. My boyfriend had the turkey panini it was good very standard. Wish there was more filling because it was mainly all bread. Place was cleaned staff was friendly. We been here like 3 times and all 3 times everyone has been pleasant. read more

This is a well placed coffee shop at the ferry landing location. You order at the counter. Let's manage our exceptions folks and judge it as such. The Coffee is great with complete Espresso bar offering. Their baked goods are great. Very fresh with a great variety. i had the croissant sandwich which was ample and great. They had lunch sandwiches on display similar to places as such in italy This place can be crowded when the ferry unloads. Yes, there are some lines at these times. However, they have a reasonable approach to dealing with this. I think some of the folks who complain about slow service are trying to catch a ferry. However, this is not a McDonalds in Ohio. it's a good casual place. read more

Cafe Acri is a popular coffee shop right in the middle of downtown Tiburon. It serves as the main rest stop for bikers in their bright spandex and tourists alike. They offer an ice water dispenser and two gender-neutral restrooms. Despite the large seating area inside and on the patio, the place fills up quickly. Prices tend to be on the high side given the area. A $6 single scoop of gelato is pricey, but very refreshing on a hot day after hiking around Angel Island. I recommend coconut! Drinks are OK - bold and smooth Americano, though my wife's Hazelnut Oat Milk Latte was more bitter than sweet. The mini plain biscotti was less successful - hard and flavorless. Should have opted for their $5 almond croissant! Cafe Acri misses two other features that I value in a top-end coffee shop: free wifi and charging outlets. Still, its a good place to rehydrate or recaffeinate yourself in Tiburon. read more
Stopped here for some gelato after a hike at angel island. It was pretty busy on a Friday afternoon but they served our large group quickly. Sadly they ran out of the pistachio flavor by the time we got there. I tried the espresso and the kalua almond. Both were creamy and flavorful! I liked that the espresso wasn't too sweet. I got a single scoop and they were able to do a half and half for flavors! read more
Came here for some gelato and coffee as we waited for the ferry to Angel Island. Outdoor seating was pleasant but pretty packed. The Mocha Chip gelato was on the sweet side, but hit the spot on a warm day. The coffee drinks were decent, had a strong espresso flavor which we liked, not as smooth of flavor like Blue Bottle, but we didn't expect that. read more

Stopped by to get a coffee and a bite to eat. It's a European style coffee shop with pastries and sandwiches. The location is convenient. The latte I had was very good. The smoked salmon bagel would of probably been better cold than warm. read more
