My husband and I lived in Albany, NY for 2.5 years so I'm shocked I've never reviewed Cafe Lark before. We consistently ordered from Cafe Lark and the Margherita pie with sausage added was a regular fave. We always ordered it extra crispy and they delivered on both flavor and crispness. I'm a bit of a pizza snob so I was glad to find a pizza parlor that could deliver. We had the chicken wings special often and they were usually cooked well. I don't like that the carrots and celery are delivered in sandwich bags which I use at home but other than that I am onboard with the wings too!

Pizza was uncut and pretty bland. I added salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Was barely warm although it only is a block and a half away.

I really want to like this place. Ordered a white broccoli pizza. It came uncut. Was very bland, but I added salt, pepper, and garlic powder. It was barely warm which was disappointing sinceit is only a block and a half away. Maybe I just have dumb luck with it.

Ham Sub ... cold with RAW TURKEY BACON. Unbelievable.

Chicken gyro is great at this place.. Gyro and fries you can't go wrong. I try to go there a few times a week.

3 stars? Bah, this place is fantastic. Greasy affordable pizza by the slice. Get the Garlic Knots.

This place came up with great reviews, albeit only a couple so far, and we decided to check it out. We drove to the location, which had limited street parking, but we were able to find a spot using my parallel parking skills, then we headed inside. It was a small place, with 2 tables that each sat 4. The TV was on, and we chatted with the guy on the counter who shared a menu with us. In the end we settled for a traditional cheese and pepperoni pizza. No one was using the tables, and we decided to eat in rather than head back to our hotel. We chatted and waited for our pizza, which was done quick and was delicious! Everything you could want from a thin new york style pizza. Good amount of cheese, charred pepperoni, not overcooked or burnt, the crust was soft and delicious. The service was awesome. Every worker we spoke to was nice and personable, without being annoying, over the top or in the way. We were offered silverware and plates, and enjoyed our pizza, before needing a box despite it being so good. I would definitely consider heading back here the next time i'm in Albany, great food AND great service at a reasonable price, what more could you want?

We ordered two beers, including Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, which she said comes with or without maraschino cherries. Of course I had to try it with cherries and it was great! For lunch, my boyfriend and I ordered the Cheesesteak with peppers and Chipotle mayo. You can customize it to your liking by choosing two toppings and a sauce on it, which was awesome. I ordered the quesadilla with pulled pork. Both arrived piping hot and were fantastic! Both dishes had tons of meat on them and tasted great. We're looking forward to returning for dinner as well as breakfast, which they just launched. Highly recommend this gem in Cohoes!

I decided to give Signal 30 a try after hearing many great things about it…read more Taking this account, I ordered ribs and brisket with fried pickles and the results were satisfying. To explain, the ribs were excellent. They were tender, flavorful, and had a ton of meat on the bones. In similar fashion, the brisket was pretty tasty. To breakdown, the brisket had nice flavor with a good amount of fat around the edges. However, the middle of the brisket was a bit overcooked. It was still enjoyable though. After that, I tried the fried pickles which were delicious. The pickles were crispy with a savory and salty taste. These were simply great fried pickles. As a final point, Signal 30 is a really good BBQ restaurant and I highly recommend the ribs and fried pickles.
