Owner is a schmuck. Was waiting until they open at 3 to order a pizza and the supposed owner who "isn't just a pizza guy" asked me why I was taking up 6 parking spots with my work truck. To which I replied it's a big truck would you prefer I back into one spot and block half the parking lot? Then he said something about the last guy who talked to him like he was just a pizza guy. Lucia's Two Go is located at the 5 Corners, next to the CVS and across the street from Top's Diner. Lucia's Two Go is a very casual pizza joint which serves up NY style (18" round) and sicilian style pizza, calzones, hot & cold subs, wings, salads, pasta dinners, and Pepsi products. It's order at the counter with a long open kitchen and table seating along the windows. The place can get busy with the phone ringing constantly and most folks were getting delivery ($1 charge/$10 minimum) or takeout. A few varieties of pizza are offered by the slice. I've been here for lunch and dinner. For lunch, I ordered some NY style pizza slices, which were just okay because the crust was a bit dry from the slices sitting around in the open air. If you can, I recommend ordering a whole fresh pizza (starting at $11.75 plus tax) instead. For dinner, I ordered a Baked Lasagna Dinner ($9) served with a garden salad and a big half loaf of Italian bread. The Lasagna was awesome, which was a big piece and had layers of firm noodles, ricotta cheese, ground meat, sweet tomato sauce, and slices of mozzarella on the top. My aunt ordered cavatelli, broccoli, and sausage for a family party a couple weeks back and it was delicious! Very flavorful all around. When we headed back to NJ, we ended up stopping here to try their pizza and also ordered a chicken parm sandwich. We ordered the smallest pizza and it was huge! 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese...the cheese only part was better. The chicken parm sandwich was good and the bread it was on was delicious. Pretty disappointed in their Italian mix- they used their pizza pepperoni instead of nice, flavorful pepperoni. The breadsticks are soft and seem endless, and the wings are ganster I'm personally not a fan of plain cheese pizza bc body has a good cheese... But these guys have a banging cheese pie. I've ordered from Lucia's so much I can't even give an estimate as to how often I've been there. The pizza is great and the other offerings are also great. My only complaint is that they claim to have buffalo wings (it says so right on the menu) but they actually don't. They offer BBQ wings at varying degrees of heat, the highest they dubiously call buffalo. That's flat out misleading. I'm not in the restaurant business but I can't believe it'd break the bank to order some Frank's Red Hot and make real Buffalo Wing sauce. read more

I have been enjoying Lucias's food for the last 10-15 years. I have found them to serve some of the best quality food in the entire capital district. They are reliable, professional, have great prices and outstanding menu choices and have gone above and beyond time and again for me. I order during holidays, last minute for friends and family, impromptu parties, football Sundays, birthdays, you name it. The wings were extra crispy as we requested and the wing sauce was sweet and tangy. Awesome! The 24 cut cheese was not sparing any cheese by any means! I also ordered a twelve cut veggie, which to my surprise was a square pizza just like the 24 cut and the veggies were loaded on! Delicious! The anitpasto for 10 was enough for 20! This place prides itself on large portions and homemade ingredients. The food here is huge on portions and quality, the pizza is good but lacks in variety. Overall the food quality is great, but the pie is expensive and ultimately precocious. I have found that the hot and cold subs are the real attraction to the revised Rotterdam 5 Corners location. The bread and rolls are made daily and are amazing. The deli meats and hot ingredients are all carefully selected if not made in house. If the round pizza was better, or if all of the pizza was rethought and repriced ($12 for a 16" 8-cut?) this would be the best takeout joint in the area. read more
